Chapter 15: Ultor's Demise Part 1: Bottom of the Pyramid
Today was the day, Monday, the day I finally went back to school. The Brotherhood was gone, as were any traces of them, and that's what I always wanted. I approached the school on my skateboard where I met up with the other Saints, "Hey Sara." Josie greeted, "Glad to see you're back."
"Yeah, I don't know, it's been like a month into the school year already, I'm so far behind."
"Don't sweat it, as long as your mom got you a note to excuse you."
I sighed, "Yeah, yeah, you're right." We approached the school. It was obvious that all eyes were on me, everyone stared at me like I was an animal at the zoo, like they were saying "Ooh, look at that girl with the scar on her face." I don't know, maybe I was being weird. I was noticing more of the color purple was popping up around the school which was better than red or yellow or green.
Nobody said much to me except for Josie and the other Saints, I didn't even see Rachel around, "You okay?" Josie asked,
"Yeah... It's just... Weird being back."
"It's just another shitty day at school." She patted me on the shoulder.
I had forgotten how boring school actually was, literally everything was just review from last year. As I was leaving art class someone stopped me, "Sara!" Jasmine came up and squeezed me in a hug, "Why didn't you tell me you were coming back?"
"I've been busy... I've had a rough summer actually... Where's Rachel?"
"I don't know, I guess her dad told her to stay home for the day."
"Spoiled rich bitch." We laughed,
"What class do you have next?" She asked,
"Physics." "Me too! C'mon let's go!" We headed to our classroom.
During the class period I keep thinking about Rachel staying home, her parents never let her skip school... It was weird. During lunch I sat down with the other Saints, "So, what are we gonna do now?" One lieutenant asked me.
They all looked at me like I was their boss, "Uh... Well..." I looked at them, "Until Boss says anything, let's relax you know, lay back. I mean, the Brotherhood, Samedi and Ronin are history, we don't really have anything to worry about." The others cheered causing us to get side glances from the other students.
The rest of the day went on with relative ease, until after school came around. A few students lingered here and there in the hallways, "I never thought I'd say it, but I sure do miss school." I said to Josie as we walked down the hallway,
"I don't miss it, and I probably won't in the future."
"Don't worry, I'll probably feel the same way tomorrow." She laughed.
We headed down the main hallway to leave the school until we heard glass shatter, and a small object rolled in front of us, "Flash grenade!" Josie exclaimed, we dove behind some lockers as it exploded. Ultor security guards came rushing in from the entrance, "Ultor? What the fuck are they doing here?" Josie asked,
"I don't know, but we're going to have to fight our way out of here." I pulled my gun out of my backpack and started shooting at them, using the lockers for cover.
Josie had her gun out too, "There's too many of them to get out the front."
"We'll have to find another way out then."
"Ready?" She loaded her gun,
"Lets go." We jumped out from behind the lockers, shooting at the guards as we made our way to the back entrance, "We can still go out the back." I said.
As we rounded the corner we ran into more guards, "Shit, they've got the whole ground floor covered." Josie asid as we shot at them.
She was right, we were surrounded, front and back, "C'mon, this way!"
We ran up the stairs to the second floor, "Sara, how are we going to get out of here from the second floor?"
"We can get out through the auditorium, there's an exit there."
"Good idea." She agreed.
We approached the doors to the auditorium, I tried pushing the door open but it wouldn't budge, "Shit!" I tried kicking it.
There were footsteps echoing down the hallway, "Step back." Josie said.
I moved as she aimed her gun at the door and blew it open. Inside the auditorium was dark except for the glowing red of the exit signs, "Almost out of here." I said as we ran down the aisle towards the signs. I burst through the door, squinting in the sunlight to see hundreds of Ultor guards fighting a bunch of high school Saints lieutenants.
Josie and I ducked down behind a large boulder, "This is madness!" Josie said,
"You're not lying..." I came out from behind the boulder and started shooting at the guards. I looked around, "We have to get out of here... All of us."
"Sara, there's no way we can make it to the other side of the building to the parking lot... It's suicide."
"Then let's push them back." I came out from behind the boulder again and started shooting more guards. On the ground was an assault rifle, "This'll work." I picked it up, "C'mon Saints, push them back!" I heard the squeal of tires as a car whipped down the road and through the grass, taking out a bunch of guards. A familiar figure hopped out of the car, "Johnny? What are you doing here?" I asked as I shot down the guards behind him,
"I came to get you, you have to get out of here."
"Johnny, I'm not leaving these guys behind, they wouldn't leave us behind if they had the choice."
He sighed, "You're right."
"Besides." I smirked, "I didn't think you were one to run away from the opportunity to murder some assholes."
"I'm not." He said, joining in on the fight.
Finally we managed to kill all of the guards, "We better get out of here, before more show up." I said to Josie,
"Right on. I'll gather the others and get them out of here."
"Thanks." I said as Johnny and I went to the car. I rode shotgun as Johnny got in, "What is Ultor doing sending their private army after the Saints?" I asked,
"Who knows, Vogel is a fucking dick."
"That may be but he wouldn't stoop as low as to shooting up a high school."
"If it were for his own personal gain he would."
I gave it a thought before being interrupted by my phone, "It's Shaundi." I said and answered it, "What's up?"
"Do you know anything about the Pyramid?"
"Pyramid? What are you talking about?" I sat up in my seat,
"Ultor sent a private army after us and they were wearing tags that said Pyramid."
"Hm... I don't know anything about the Pyramid, but I think I know someone who might know someone."
Johnny dropped me off at home, "You gonna come in?"
"Nah, I've got things to do."
"You know... Someone important to me once told me that it's important to spend time with your family."
"Yeah... Eesh used to tell me that too."
I nodded, "Man, I miss them... Both of them."
Johnny nodded, "Let's go inside."
After Johnny had left I was picking up my dirty laundry and throwing it in the closet, "How am I going to get to Rachel's dad." Mr. Carnagie had to know something about the Pyramid, he worked as a technician for Ultor, he had to know something. I stared at the pile,
"Are you really going to betray your friendship with Rachel to get back at a major corporation?" Carlos asked from behind me.
I turned to him, "You know Carlos, I don't think I have friends anymore, I am passing through this life and I have no clue what the fuck I'm doing anymore."
"Are you that lost without me here?"
"I mean, I guess... If you really were here, physically, I wouldn't be going psychotic."
"You're not going psychotic, it's just how you're coping with my death."
I sighed, "Yeah I guess."
There was a knock on my door, "Sara, who are you talking to?" My mom asked,
"Uh..." I looked back and he was gone, "No one mom, just cleaning my room."
She walked in, "I thought I heard you saying something to someone..." She looked over at my closet, "Sara, shoving your dirty clothes in the closet isn't cleaning your room."
"Sure it is." I smirked.
She just rolled her eyes and shook her head, "Look honey, there's something I want to talk to you about, something I already brought up with Johnny."
"Yeah, what is it?" She sat down on my bed and patted a spot next to her.
I sat down, "So, I got offered an interview over at another police department, and if I get the job then we're gonna be moving."
"Where at?" "It'll be in Steelport."
"Steelport?!" I knew of their dance team out there, we competed against them a few times, and needless to say our teams aren't on the best of terms,
"Sara, I'm not going to make you go if you don't want to, you can stay and Johnny can look after you, but Johnny thinks maybe a change of things will be better for you."
I thought about it, "I'm happy for you mom, and I would be a shitty daughter if I didn't go with you."
She hugged me, "I love you so much, your dad would be proud of you."
"I love you too Mom." I hugged her back.
School seemed unphased after what happened yesterday, as if Ultor didn't shoot up the campus. I met up with Josie in the parking lot, "I know how I'm gonna get that information for Boss."
"How?"
"Ever been to a Carnagie party?"
She groaned, "Do I have to?"
"Yes, I need some cover. Let me do all the talking."
"Fine."
"I'll let you know at lunch what's going on."
"Alright, see ya." I waved as I walked into the school. Jasmine was talking at her locker when I approached her, "Is Rachel back?" I asked,
"Yeah, I saw her here earlier, I think she went to her locker."
"Alright, thanks Jazz." I didn't know where her locker was, but it wouldn't be hard to spot her, she was the only fiery redhead in the place. I found her digging through the locker like she was trying to find something, I leaned against the lockers, hiding myself behind her locker door so she couldn't see me walk up,
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Rachel Luann Carnagie, coming to show her face around here finally."
She closed her locker, "You're the one to talk, I didn't miss the first month of school Sara Rose Ashmond."
We started walking, "Listen, I know we've been distant lately."
"You're telling me. You're the one who ran off to be in a gang."
We walked into the girls locker room to get ready for gym, "Look, needless to say I've been in a slump lately and spent three weeks in my house, I need social interaction."
She stopped dead in her tracks and turned to me, "Are you saying what I think you're saying?"
"What do you think I'm saying?" I raised an eyebrow,
"You want me to have a party."
"You know me so well, it's almost as if we've been friends forever."
"Sara, I will gladly throw a party, you know my parties are fun."
"Oh yeah, it's gonna be a blast."
I met up with Josie later that day, "Dude, we're in." I whispered,
"Why are you whispering?"
"Because we are in the bathroom and I don't want someone to hear us."
"Okay... so what are we in?"
"The party, so we can find information on the Pyramid."
She groaned, "Do I have to?"
"Josie, we had literally this exact conversation not two hours ago, yes, you do."
"Okay, alright, I'll go."
"Not like you had a choice, now here's the plan. Mr. Carnagie has an office in the upstairs, but he keeps it locked when he's not home. As you can imagine the upstairs is going to be crowded with a bunch of sexually frustrated teens trying to find a place to fuck."
"Okay, but how's this going to get us in the office?"
"I'm going to seduce Brad into taking me in there."
"Okay... How?"
"With these." I pulled a bottle of sleeping pills from my bag,
"You're gonna poison him?!"
"Shhh." I looked around to make sure no one had heard, "I'm gonna put these in his drink and hopefully I'll put in just the right dose that he can unlock the office before passing out."
"What makes you think Brad is going to have the key?"
"If he's desperate enough for sex, he'll find the key."
"That's your plan?"
"Yep."
"It sucks."
"Well I didn't ask for your approval, see you later." I said, walking out of the bathroom.
It was Friday night, the perfect night for a party. Josie appeared at my house at 9, "We going or what?"
"Yeah... But you're not going looking like that."
She looked down, "What's wrong with what I'm wearing?"
"You look like a fucking hobo. Upstairs, now."
"Ugh whatever." She marched up the stairs.
I turned on the light in my closet, "Let's start with clothes. I can't be seen arriving with someone who's wearing sweatpants and a hobo sweater." I tossed her a tank top and a miniskirt,
"What the fuck is this?"
"Put it on."
"This is degrading."
"Put it on!" I said as I walked out of the closet. We were doing our makeup when there was a knock on the bedroom door, I went to open it.
Boss, Shaundi and Pierce were standing in the doorway, "Boss? How did you get in here?"
"Johnny let us in, he had to get something."
"Oh."
"Did you find out anything about the Pyramid?"
"Not yet, that's where Josie and I are heading."
"You're not going to a party are you?" Johnny asked from down the hallway,
"Duh, who do you think told Rachel to throw the damn thing. I don't think she would have been inviting me over if I said 'Hey, your dad works for Ultor and I want to ruin your family's life by hacking his computer and giving the info to my boss'."
"Sounds like a plan to me." Pierce said,
"Look, I'll text the deets to Shaundi, don't worry about it."
"Alright, see you later."
They headed off, "Bye guys." I turned to Josie, "Let's go." I grabbed my jacket.
It was a normal scene at the Carnagie household, drunken teens were stumbling about, "Sara, I don't know about this."Josie said,
"Josie Rae Cooper you are going to march into that house and you are going to have a good time even if it kills you." I said as I shoved her through the doorway. We walked past some students that we're dancing to the music, "Go mingle, I'm gonna go drug Brad."
"Alright."
"Sara! Josie! You made it!" Rachel slurred excitedly as she approached us from the living room, a red plastic cup in her hand,
"I told you I wanted a party, why wouldn't I be here?"
"Because... Sometimes you can be a real slut and ditch your friends." She smirked.
I glared at her, "Thanks Rach, I'll remember that... So uh, where's Brad?"
"He's in the kitchen, he's been asking for you like, all night."
"Thanks Rachel." I looked at Josie and nodded, "I'll be back."
"You get it girl! Go fuck my brother!" Rachel yelled after me.
I rolled my eyes, I felt nauseous, and I hadn't even drank anything yet. The thought of seducing Brad was enough to make me want to vomit my lunch up, my thoughts just kept bringing me back to Carlos. It felt wrong, even if it was for the gang I couldn't just betray the love of my life like that. I slammed down a couple of jello shots before approaching Brad, "Here goes nothing..." I muttered, "Hey Brad, long time no see." I smirked,
"Sara, I was wondering when you were going to show up."
"Well I'm here now."
"Great, how about a drink?"
"Okay." I smiled as he grabbed me a beer out of one of the coolers,
"Here you go." I didn't want to tell him that I hated beer, I couldn't make things awkward or my plan would never work. I took the beer and opened it, "How have you been?" He asked,
"Fine... I'm just having a hard time lately." I gave him big sad eyes,
"What's wrong?"
"Oh Brad, I've been so lonely." I said in fake sadness, hoping that he was too drunk to notice,
"Sara, I didn't know."
"I feel like I have no one around anymore, no one to love me." I managed to conjure up fake tears to make the story more believable,
"Uh, hang on, let me get you some tissues." He sat his beer down and left the kitchen.
I looked around before pulling out the bottle of pills, "That was easier than I thought." I said as I crushed the pills with my bottle. I dumped the powder into Brad's drink and gave it a swirl for good measure, "I hope this works." I sat the drink back down,
"Sara." Brad came back in the room with a box of tissues, "Let's go talk in private, you sound like you need to vent."
"O-okay." I sniffled as I dabbed at my eyes, Sucker! I kept thinking to myself as we went up the stairs, Josie following far enough behind so Brad wouldn't notice her.
Brad tried opening his bedroom door but it was locked, "Oh gross! What kind of man can't even go in his own room anymore?" He tried the other bedroom doors but they were locked too, "Fuck, they're all locked."
"It's fine... I'll just go." I turned to walk away but he grabbed my wrist,
"Wait, we can go in my dad's office."
"Won't he get mad if we're in there?"
"It's fine, he won't be mad." He reached on the top of the door frame and grabbed a key,
"Your dad keeps the key on top of the door? Really?"
"Yeah, he's not too smart." He said, unlocking the door. We walked into a small study containing an oak computer desk and a computer chair, behind the desk was a row of filing cabinets that we're alphabetized. My interest was on the laptop that was sitting on the desk, that's where the gold was hidden.
Brad closed the door behind us, "Brad, I want to tell you something."
"Yeah?" He took a big drink from the bottle,
"Well, I just wanted to tell you that I've always been into you, and honestly, I just want you Brad."
He finished the beer, "Sara, I think you're the hottest girl I know, even if you are only sixteen."
"Well you know, sixteen is legal." I said, giving him a kiss. He kissed me back, pulling his body to mine, for a moment it was just Brad and I in a passionate embrace, until something felt wrong. All I could think of was Carlos again, I thought about how having sex with him felt, how it wouldn't be the same with Brad. I kept thinking this as we made out, as he laid me on the desk, and he pulled down my shorts then he was there. Sure, the sex didn't feel the same, but it was still enjoyable.
The way our bodies were in an embrace made me feel completely different, until something happened. Brad slowed down for a second, "You okay?" I looked up at him,
"Yeah... I just feel a little..." He passed out on top of me,
"What the fuck?!" I tried to get him off of me, but he was a solid guy, "Brad, you couldn't have pulled out before you passed out on top of me?!" It was the most awkward thing, but I had to call for help, "Josie! JOSIE!"
She opened the door, "Wha- OH MY GOD!"
"Listen, can you help get this guy off of me so I can get the intel and we can forget this ever happened?"
"You don't have to ask me twice." She managed to get Brad off of me, I pulled up my shorts,
"We don't talk about this... Ever." I said,
"Not a problem."
I walked over to the computer and opened it. The computer was unlocked, "Seriously, no password?" I searched through the files, there was a lot about Ultor on that computer that Dane never released to the public, and there was a reason for it. I sent the files over to Shaundi and shut the computer off, "Let's get out of here." I said, walking over to the window,
"What about him?" She gestured to Brad,
"Forget about him, he'll be fine." I opened the window and jumped on to the tree branch next to it.
Josie jumped next to me, "So really, how was the sex?"
"Shut up Josie... It was great... Until he passed out on top of me." We climbed down and left the party.
The next day I was waiting for Shaundi outside my house, "So are you going to leave town?" Carlos asked me,
"I don't know Carlos, Ultor has become an increasing problem, we'll see, I mean I don't want to leave you behind." I saw the car pull up, "See ya later." I got up off of the steps and headed to the car, "Hey Shaundi." I said as I sat in the passenger seat,
"Hey." She pulled away from the house, "I printed out those pictures you sent me so we can show them to Boss."
I examined the pictures, "You know, for a corporation as big as Ultor you would think they would do better to hide their secrets." "Yeah, it's weird that they have an R&D facility."
"Or is it?" I said,
"What do you mean?"
"I mean Ultor let those Brotherhood prisoners go, they were working with the Ronin, and then severed ties with the Ronin and came to us to go after them. I think that Vogel wanted us to gun for each other, you know, like let the problems sort themselves out, and whoever's left standing take them out."
"You sure, that seems a little out there, even for me."
"Okay, but are you high right now?" I raised an eyebrow,
"No."
"That's a shocker."
"Look, when we get there just bring it up to Boss."
"Fine. I will." I sat back in my seat.
Shaundi and I walked into the restaurant, she tossed the pictures on to the table in front of Boss, Johnny, and Pierce, "Is this the Pyramid?" Johnny asked,
"Yeah, Ultor's built a huge R&D facility underneath Mount Claflin." Shaundi said,
"Let me guess, they aren't developing a better breadbox..."
"Honestly, they probably are... They're just, ya know, developing guns and body armor too."
"Why's Ultor gunning for us?" Pierce asked,
"It doesn't matter, here's the plan... Pierce and Shaundi, I want the two of you to hit the streets and take out as much Ultor property as you can, if Ultor wants to come after us, fine but we're gonna make it cost em... Gat, you, Sara and I are gonna hit the Pyramid..."
"What, we don't get to blow shit up in public?" Johnny asked,
"Fine, we can do some damage but we gotta be quick, I don't wanna give Ultor any more of a heads up than we have to." We got up and left the restaurant.
Johnny and I drove down the road on our way to the entrance of the Pyramid, "You okay?" Johnny asked, not taking his eyes off the road, I didn't notice it until now but I was just staring out the window at the blur of buildings nearby.
I sat up in my seat, "I'm fine, it's nothing just thinking about the plan is all."
"Is that all?" He raised an eyebrow,
"Yes, Johnny, that is all." I finalized, hoping he would end the conversation there.
He turned a corner, "I don't think that is all." He continued,
"Fuck, Johnny. What do you want from me?"
"I just want to help you."
"Trust me Johnny, I am beyond help."
"Sara, you're not beyond help. You just have a hard time dealing with death, you've always been that way."
"Whatever, you know, you cant tell me that you're not still upset about Eesh."
"I never said I wasn't, but the bastards that killed her are dead and now I don't feel as bad about it."
I rolled my eyes and went back to looking out the window. We took a dirt path down by the river, "Alright, this is as far as the car can take us." I got out of the car and walked over to the fence, "Johnny, give me a boost." He cupped his hands and boosted me up the fence. I jumped down to the other side where Johnny followed shortly after, "The entrance is just ahead. Ill give Boss a call."
I grabbed my phone, "Sup?" "Boss, we're at the Pyramid, just waiting for you to get here."
"Alright, I'm just about done distracting them so I'll be there in a bit."
"Okay." I hung up.
We waited for Boss for what seemed like forever, basically passing the time with a bunch of small talk, "So what's the plan after we get in?" Johnny asked,
"I think Boss wants to blow something up or something." I said, tossing a rock into the river.
A few more minutes passed, "So, did you talk to mom?"
"About what?" I threw another rock,
"Nothing... She wanted to tell you something though."
"Something important?"
"Kinda."
I turned to him, "What did she want to tell me Johnny?"
"I'll let her tell you, it's not my place to say anything."
"Then why did you bring it up?" He shrugged, I rolled my eyes and went back to throwing rocks.
Boss finally showed up after what seemed like an eternity, "About damn time." I said, standing up,
"C'mon, lets get inside." Boss said. We walked through the labyrinth like tunnels before walking into the facility,
"Damn, this place is huge." I said to Johnny, "The pictures definitely do not do it justice."
"This way." Boss said, taking lead again.
Boss took us around the corner, "Do you even know where you're going?" I asked,
"Yeah, I need a keycard so I can get access to the labs. Did you forget that part of the plan?"
"No..." I mean, I didn't read all of the information, I found it after all.
We turned another corner, "Be careful Sara, people know you're here, theyre gonna come after you." Carlos said from behind me,
"Where the fuck did you come from?!"
"What?" Boss asked,
"Nothing... nothing, I didn't say anything, but be ready, I think people are coming after us." As soon as I said that some guards came from around the corner,
"Sara, how did you know they were coming?" Johnny asked,
"A little birdie told me." I said, as we each pulled out our guns. We killed the guards as we made our way down to what appeared to be a break room, only no one was in there, "You'd think they had somewhere else to be." I said,
"No kidding." Johnny said as Boss grabbed the key card off of the table.
Boss lead us into one of the labs upstairs, "Cover me while I plant these bombs." He said as he headed over to the control panels,
"I want to plant bombs..." I grumbled,
"You're not going anywhere near a bomb." Johnny said,
"You sound just like mom." I rolled my eyes, some guards came around the corner and shot at us,
"I'm just trying to look after you so you don't get yourself killed."
I shot a guard, "I can handle myself Johnny, I haven't gotten myself killed yet."
"Well there's a first time for everything." He shot the other guard.
We went to the next lab, "You sure you wont let me near one of those bombs?" I asked,
"Shut up Sara and cover me."
I shot the guard that came into the door, "Are you really going to let Boss talk to you like that?" Carlos asked, plopping down in a chair,
"I don't need your crap right now." I said as a group of guards charged through the door,
"C'mon Sara, you're way smarter than them, you could have gotten this shit done in half the time it took Boss to do it."
"Are you just saying what I want to hear?"
"Well, I am a figment of your imagination."
"Shut up."
"Sara? Can you stop talking to yourself long enough to help me out?" Johnny asked,
"I wasnt... Ugh!" I shot down the guards, "I wasn't talking to myself."
"Well it sure as fuck sounded like it."
"One more." Boss said, taking us to the next lab. Johnny and I killed the guards on the way to the lab, Boss kicked down the door and walked in to an ambush.
The guard shot Boss, enough to incapacitate him but not kill him, "Shit!" We all said.
Johnny went to fight the guards while I helped Boss up, "Hand me the bomb, I can set it up." I said, "Sara-"
"TRUST ME!" I took the bomb off of him and ran over to the control panel while they fought the guards, "Alright, lets place this here." I stuck the bomb to the bottom of the console, "Okay, now flip this switch here." I flipped on the switch on the bomb and the LCD display lit up with 0's, "And now this button." I hit the button the numbers lit up, "Guys, we have 1 minute and 45 seconds to get the fuck out of here!" I yelled,
"Shit!" Boss said, and we ran out of the lab. We headed out the main tunnel,
"It'll take too long to go back the way we came, we'll never make it before the place blows." I said.
Boss looked around, "Follow me." We ran across the room through another exit. There were more guards blocking a vehicle, we took them out,
"We can use that to escape." I said approaching the vehicle.
We climbed in and Boss drove us out, just in time for the bombs to go off, "Lets get back to the hideout." Boss said, driving away.
I laid down on my bed, doing my math homework before our dumb exam tomorrow, the door shut downstairs, "Sara! Sara sweetie?" My mom called,
"Up here." I yelled.
She opened my door some more, "I've got something to tell you."
"Is it that important thing that you told to Johnny?"
"He told you?"
"He told me about it." I sat up, "He told me you would tell me."
"Right, well anyway, tomorrow I have a chance to talk to the Chief of Police of the Steelport Police Department, and if all goes well then I'll be transferring there."
"That's great mom." I smiled,
"Thanks hun, you're not upset about maybe having to leave everything behind?"
"It;s not like I can't talk to my friends and Johnny still."
"Thanks for understanding hun." She kissed me on the top of my head, "I'm gonna go make dinner."
"Okay mom." She went to walk out, "Also, can you come into the Police Station tomorrow? Troy said you can help him with something since I'll be out of town."
"Sure thing mom." She smiled at me before closing my bedroom door.
The next day at school I was walking into the cafeteria with Jasmine, "I don't get how the answer was 5,005, I did the math a hundred times and got 505." She said,
"Obviously you didn't multiply the-"
"Fucking bitch!" I was greeted by a punch to the face causing me to fall to the floor.
Rachel was towering over me, "What are you talking abou-"
"Don't fucking play stupid with me, I know what you did, because of you and your buddies little attack on my dad's place of work he is now out of a job! I know you broke into my dad's office last weekend and stole all of his important work!" Jasmine was holding her back, "Brad told me you guys went in there to have sex! I cant believe you would stoop so low as to steal from your best friend and cause her family to lose everything!" I looked around and noticed everyone was looking, "I knew this would happen, ever since you've joined those no good Saints you have been nothing but a no good, manipulative, drug dealing, thug!" She stomped her way past Jasmine.
Josie rushed to my side, "You okay?" She asked as she helped me up.
I watched as Jasmine followed Rachel out, and I could feel it, like the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak. Maybe moving away wouldn't be so bad, after all, I just walked my only two friends walk out of my life, "I'm fine." I said to Josie and left the cafeteria.
