Yo. So, this is an AN to address the very obvious plot hole that I've been procrastinating on doing because bad shit keeps happening to me. The plot hole in question is the Luna/Narcissa one, and boy is there a whole thing behind that.
I wrote chapters 17-22 in the notes app on my phone when my vision was still really bad, because I'm an idiot. The problem with using a touchscreen while having crappy vision is that sometimes you end up touching things you didn't mean to. And that's basically what happened. I had a brief explanation towards the end of chapter 20, when Narvolo is standing outside the door Harry was locked behind after he conjured the fiendfyre. Seems like I fucked up at some point and deleted a few paragraphs, including a bit where Marvolo contemplates over his strange feelings for Harry. And honestly? I straight up didn't notice those bits were gone until people started commenting on it. So, yeah, that's fully on me.
The bits I wrote are long gone, but I don't actually remember exactly what I said, since it was a while ago, so I decided to do something else. Instead of tossing an explanation dump at the end, I went back and edited the entire fic, and added new hints towards things, including the Luna/Narcissa thing throughout. So now, if you read the fic again, you should be able to piece things together for a couple of different things. I also rephrased a few things, but that's less important.
Other things I wanted to address here: The fic was never meant to be overly detailed. This was something I decided to write on a whim, and it was only supposed to take a few months to finish. It was something small and simple I wanted to do just for the sake of it. As I've stated before, this was an idea I've always wanted to try, but I didn't know where to even start, so I went with something basic. That's why the chapters are short and why there're minimal descriptions and details.
Also, life fucking sucks and because of that, I only write happy endings, something a few people have expressed irritation over. I know I haven't finished most of my other stuff, but here's your warning that everything will have a happy or possibly ambiguous ending. If I wanted to write non-happy endings, I'd just write a journal.
I'll leave this note up for a couple of weeks, for people who can't get to it immediately, but I'll be deleting it after that. Also, it's not like you have to go back and read through the whole thing if you don't actually want to. It's not like I'm forcing you.
Sorry if I sound kind of angry. I'm very depressed due to the recent and extremely sudden death of a sibling, so I haven't exactly been in a great mood, and one of the symptoms of my depression is anger, lol.
Tldr-the plot hole was a touchscreen/low vision fuckup on my part, I've edited in new hints throughout the story to fix the problem. If you want to reread the whole thing, go ahead, if you don't, meh.
