Six months passed since the war with Tartaros and Nina had learned that Makarov disbanded Fairy Tail, which broke her heart terribly. Her entire family was now to the winds, so to speak. She did keep in touch with Erza and Levy, but the others she lost contact with. Makarov disappeared like a ghost, Natsu was busy training, Gray was gone, Juvia was as well and she had Laxus here, along with the Thunder Legion. Before Makarov left the last time she saw him, he gave her a breathtaking pendant featuring six shimmering diamonds with a luminous freshwater cultured pearl nestles in the graceful embrace of gold-plated ribbons. She toyed with it as she sat in the guild hall while reading the dragon book and smelt Rogue and Sting before they came up.

"You're still playin with it, huh?" Sting teased, tilting his head.

"Can't help it. It's a habit of mine and you know it." She pouted, putting a marker in the book where she was. "What's up? I thought you had meetings all day." Nina remembered him telling her last night that he would be busy all day with meetings with other guildmasters.

"Got done sooner than expected. Mind comin with me?" He asked, holding his hand out like he had at the banquet during the Grand Magic Games of X791.

She nodded before noticing he cleaned up slightly and had combed his hair back. He even wore a black shirt that was un-tucked from his white pants and had gold buttons. It was open enough to show a few of his chest muscles and he had a black tie with the Sabertooth logo. He also had a white tuxedo jacket, also opened up and hanging over his pants. She noticed he even wore black dress shoes and matching socks.

It made her glance at her teal classic cut short-sleeved twill whisper Ruth scalloped dress that had soft scallops along the neckline. It was otherwise classic with pin-tucks at the waist and streamlining seams along the skirt and her silver heels. The dress was a gift from Erza while the shoes were something she bought a few months ago. "O-Okay..." She took his hand, confused as to what's going on. Usually they'd stay around the guild or hang out in the pool for time alone.

He gave her his grin and put her hand on his arm as he led her around the town, mirroring their first official date, stopping by a few places to reminisce and to laugh at how stupid they had been. While she was busy looking at a stall, he went to get something from the jeweler a few stalls away, whispering so her hearing couldn't hear him before stuffing it in his pocket. Rejoining her, he led her to a flower shop and watched her explore, seeing her go between the red and purple roses and the peonies. When she was looking at something else on the other end of the store, he bought a bouquet of the three flowers she looked at the most before tucking them carefully into a bag to hide them from not only her nose, but her eyes.

Nina imprinted each of their stops into her memories as she was led to a beautiful restaurant by the ocean and they were led to a table on the dock outside. "A reservation? How sweet."

"Only the best for ya, Nina, you know. I gotta spoil you when I can." He teased, kissing her hand lovingly and they ordered their food. While they ate, he couldn't help but smile, which she noticed.

"Something funny?" She asked as she noticed how much love was showing in his blue eyes, blushing lightly at the feelings inside her heart for him in return. They talked about their days and she talked about the book, seeing him hanging on every word she said. Her eyes watched as the sun set, her heart loving the view as well as noticing how handsome he looked in the light. "I think this might be one of my favorite dates yet." She giggled at the silliness of her words as he stood up and took the bag he had gotten earlier, taking the bouquet he got out to her shocked gasp. "They're gorgeous... Thank you."

His smirk told her it was about to get a lot better. "I got them cause they're like you, delicate yet strong." He then took a deep breath as she stood, aiming to leave. "There's one more thing..." He then dropped to one knee, staring up at her stunned face. "My heart has always been filled with joy ever since I met you, you are my dreams come true, I never thought that I would meet a wonderful girl like you. I will be the happiest man in the world if I can spend the rest of my life in your heart. The first time I met you, I know that I have found a girl of my life; I know that I would be spending eternity in your arms. You are so lovely and beautiful; thank God that I found you. I want to confess that I have never seen someone as wonderful as you are in my entire life, you bring joy and blessing to my life, and I feel great to be in your life, I want you to stay with me forever. I'm sorry that I have never told you about this plan, I invited some few families and friends here to make this moment memorable, and because I love you and I'm proud of you any time and anywhere."

Tears gathered in her eyes as she looked around to see Erza, Levy, Gajeel, Natsu, Wendy, Laxus, the Thunder Legion, Rogue and the rest of Sabertooth at the other tables, standing and watching them. "S-S-Sting..." She whispered, her right hand trembling as it went to her mouth.

"You have been a lovely and caring girl to me for so long, and I think I should seal your love in my heart forever, would you marry me?" He asked, pulling out a box and opening it to reveal a silver ring with a leaf design and silver flower with a diamond in the center.

His words from earlier caused her to cry happily as well as his promise just now made her knees shake. "O-O-Of course I will! Yes..." She broke down in happy tears as she watched him slide the ring onto her left ring finger and standing up in time to catch her as she flung herself into his arms to kiss him lovingly, her bouquet laying on the table. "I love you so much, Sting..."

"And I will always love you, no matter what." He agreed, holding her tightly before releasing her so she could greet everyone else. "Thanks for comin, guys."

Natsu chuckled and lightly punched him in the shoulder. "I wouldn't miss this for anything. Way to go, man."

Gajeel smirked. "I would've arrested ya if you took too long proposing to her."

"I don't think I need to say much. I know now she's in good hands." Laxus said, putting a hand on his shoulder and nodding.

"I will say that should you need it, you'll have us to protect her when she's out on jobs." Freed vowed. "Even though we all know she's quite capable of protecting herself."

Bickslow laughed. "Just don't get her mad, alright?"

"Don't need to tell me that." Sting agreed.

"I'm so happy for you, Rosie~" Levy squealed, hugging her along with Erza, Evergreen and Wendy.

Erza looked close to tears. "I can't believe you're engaged now. The last thing I knew, you were at my heels, wanting to be like me."

"Erza-chan... Thanks. I always admired you and your strength." She said. "I am so glad you made it..."

Wendy smiled. "I told Sherria I had to visit you and she let me."

"I had a feeling something was up. He'll take good care of you." Evergreen said, smiling like a mother would as they rejoined the others. "I told her you'd take good care of her. You better or you'll regret it." She warned.

Erza nodded, adding a glare to her words. "If I find out she's unhappy because of you, there will be no stone you can hide that I won't search."

That had Sting pale, as did the other males, knowing full well the temper of Erza. "Got it. I won't make her cry like that, I swear." When she nodded with a smile, they relaxed and chatted for a bit before they all left to continue what they had been doing beforehand.

Nina kept herself glued to her fiancé, holding his hand and the bouquet the entire walk back. "I can't believe you planned that. It was perfect."

"It was hard to keep it a secret from you because of Rogue." He replied, kissing her temple and enjoying that she was only an inch shorter than him, making it much easier to kiss her.

"Hey! I could've kept it a secret if you told me." Rogue said, clearly offended at his words.

Giggling, Nina shook her head. "Gotta say you suck at secrets, Ryos..." She burst out laughing at his hurt face as the guild joined in.

Orga took a breath. "Man, she got you good, Rogue."

"I have committed that to memory." Rufus said as they all split off to their rooms and home, wanting to get some rest.

Shina and Lector went with Rogue and Yukino, wanting to give Froche some company for the night. Sting swept Nina up into his arms to her yelp of surprise as he carried her up to the room they shared, smirking at her protests of 'I can walk' and 'put me down' as he hefted her over his left shoulder. He, of course, ignored them entirely as he used a hand to open the door before closing it once he was in. Arriving by the side of the bed, he tossed her onto the surface with his signature smirk on his face when he saw her annoyed glare.

"What're you smirking at? I'm not a bag of potatoes." She huffed as she got to her elbows after rolling from her stomach, blinking at the sexy grin he had on now. At first, she thought it was a prideful grin, but now she saw was a glint that meant it was about to be a long night as she raised an eyebrow. "Well, now what?" She teased as she slowly sat up.

"Hope you don't plan on much sleep tonight, Lita..." He said as he hovered over her, the grin not disappearing the entire time.

Nina mentally shivered at her real name on his lips. Only Rogue and Sting used her real name and each had different feelings inside her. Rogue was her brother and it made her extremely happy whenever he used it, similar to her being the only one to call him Ryos. But, when Sting used it, her insides always quivered with lust and arousal, especially when he said it huskily. Her smirk mirrored his as she reached up to take a hold of his tie and tugged him closer. "Nope... Now, shut up and fuck me." She closed the distance between them while still holding onto his tie.

He realized that her dress opened in the back when he roamed over her body, growling and pulling her up enough to slowly travel to the zipper and unzip the thing hiding her body from him. His mouth left hers red and puffy, just the way he liked it, and began flowing over her neck, pausing to attack her mating mark and smelling the effect it had on her body. "Fuck... You smell so amazing..." He inhaled her scent to memorize it even more as he slid the dress down to a point where she had to let go of his tie, the sleeves trapping her arms against her side. It was that look that made her get over her shyness of the scars over her body and she helped him remove her dress fully. Seeing his eyes widen, she had to fight a smile when he realized she was wearing nothing underneath the dress. "Like what you see?" She purred right before he roughly took her mouth in a bruising kiss, making her eyes widen slightly. This kiss was harsher than the other ones and she found herself loving it.

Seeing that she wore nothing under her dress and that anyone could've looked under to see everything made him pissed off. It was time to show her why pissing him off wasn't a good idea. She would know, by the time he was done, that this would never happen again unless she wanted to get punished again. No longer caring about the dress, he tore it off the same moment she nearly tore the shirt and jacket off his own body and running her nails up and down the planes of his muscles. Sliding his hands up to cup her breasts, he pinched the nipples and rolled them between his fingers and felt her moan into their kiss. "I... Have a hunch..." She said softly with that smile that never ceased to amaze him as he kicked away the remainder of his clothes, slipping out of her to do so, making her breath catch when he did. Her body was still on its trip to the heavens, so it allowed him to pick her up before sliding her into the covers, joining shortly after, curling around him almost instinctively, resting her head on his shoulder while her right hand rested over his heart. "It still feels like I'm asleep." She said with a smile.

"You too? Here I thought I was the only one dreaming... Glad to know we have the same dream." Sting chuckled softly, placing a kiss on the top of her head while holding her hand. "Now to actually sleep. Rest easy, love, I'll keep you safe in my arms the entire night." He felt her slowing breathing, signalling her falling asleep before he went to sleep himself.

Finally got this done! I've been super busy working almost nine hours every day at work with only one day off a week, so I didn't get long enough to finish this chapter, but I did it!
