You have no idea show many times I rewrote this chapter XD it was a pain in the ass... but this is the best version I came up with~

Warning, lots of description of the New Settlement of Gufuu's allied Monster Tribes~ .

Gufuu woke to the sound of Mischievous giggles. Slowly her eyes blinked open. The odd sensation of waking up from being unconscious not one she enjoyed. Slowly sitting up she saw twins Fred and George playing with a small bird hatchling. The hatchling looked at her with pure delight as it crooned.

"Little Kargarok," cooed Gufuu as she reached over and pet the little one. It's feathers a dark navy blue. White tipped its wing feathers, while its head had a hood of maroon feathers. Large golden eyes shone with pure adoration. Already it's neon yellow tail feathers we're developing long and fluffy. Spots of neon green began developing, but it would be a while before her full coloration developed.

"So she is yours!" The twins said in awe.

Gufuu looked to them, "what are you doing here?" She asked of them.

"We'll I heard a squeak," one said, while the other hummed, "and I heard a squawk." They finished together, "so we came to find out what it was!~"

So the little one didn't imprint on them… that's a relief…

She brought the hatchling into her embrace, gently petting its crest. "and… why did you stick around after finding out?"

"For fun," they giggled together.

Getting a good look at the two, she could see… something about their souls wasn't right… or at least not fully human… she couldn't tell what it was without tasting their magic…

"Alright… so… you do a lot of pranks right?" She asked. She needed something to fill the quiet of not having Majora awake…

The last few weeks of the school year past relatively peacefully. The twins filled in a spice that Gufuu never knew her friend circle needed. She didn't know how to explain it… but it was like a hole she never knew was there was finally filled.

Little Kranous, the Helmrok Hatchling, grew slowly but surely. Gufuu kept her close no mater what. She ate mostly insects and webs Gufuu collected from the Acromantula. Mashed into a paste it made for a nutritious diet. The Darknut and Wizrobe absolutely adored the bird. Apparently they had ancient legends of a Bird King ruling over the skies of a flooded world. Their ancestors honors the king as a living god of sorts.

Neville took care of the Devils Snare in Gufuu's corridor. The vines recovered well from the burns, albeit they were much more wary of humans now. Parting from them before investigating those that fell into its chamber.

Hermione gave Gufuu the cold shoulder. Furious that she never even considered getting help from her friends before investigating the passageway. It took a lot of coaxing, begging forgiveness, and offerings of knowledge to get her to settle her feathers.

Draco… was distant…

He gave longing looks but…

Stayed away…

As the train filled with students, Gufuu slipped into the shadows… fleeing to the forest… then to her castle.

Weeks of construction passed. Mitigating between the three species that now inhabited her new… well… kingdom? That what the Darknuts insisted it was.

To Gufuu's annoyance… this was their third attempt at building the castle. The previous castle was torn down after Gufuu's critiques. Furthermore, it was moved up to wrap all the way around the Volcano. Away from the Lizalfos settlement so a proper town could be built with many layers and winding paths. Houses built into the side of the volcano and many walls built around the volcano for better evacuation and defense. Many gates and walls to be closed when needed. Towers all around the volcano for surveillance from any angle. The castle was built on a large Plateau near the peak but still a fair bit lower. The only fully built tower was just barely taller than the peak, giving those who patrolled a view of the entire mountain.

Each plateau of the mountain had a settlement of sorts with many houses. Several had a square adorned with the crest the people decided to use to represent their union. In the middle was what was apparently her dragon form. Around it was sixteen plates, although only four of the plate were anything but black plates. One was a dragon paw print with three fortoes and one hindtoe. Next was a bird with a book in its Beal. A helmet with a sword. And a spider. Gufuu assumed it meant the alliances under her banner. Just like the mosaic of the first castle town but… much more refined.

The stone steps between each plateau was large enough even for a hinox or a Dodongo to walk up with little difficulty. At the point where the steps met the next plateau was a magnificent gate, each decorated differently based on what the village was for. Many were left blank since the empty settlements were meant for other alliances.

Then came the major settlements for the three alliances she currently possesses.

The first she encountered was at the base of the mountain. This being the Darknut City. After the Battle against well… Gufuu's possessed body… the Darknut tried to rebuild their city… however… it… didn't work out… instead they decided to build a new city into the base of the New Eldin Volcano. Tunnels were built into the side of the mountain, reinforced by the white stone quarried from the Darknut Mines. Many clusters of homes were along the tunnels. Their new vault had the doors of their old vault but now held their new Forge. The hallway leading to the Grand Forge was decorated in mosaics of past Darknut legends. Even honorary Darknuts like the Valiant Fighters of the Gerudo or Hylian soldiers trained j the art of Heavy Armor. The doors themselves depicted Demise in al his glory gifting the first Darknut a suit of armor. Beside him stood a familiar grey man in white clothes offering the first Darknut a blade. Even more amazingly… the doors actually contained this very armor and sword. A testament to the craftsmanship of the god of monsters. The Darknut commander mentioned that they would remain there until they had crafted armor of equal measure. A feat not achieved yet, but always aspired for.

The next settlement was that of the Wizrobes. It was only a layer above the Darknuts, although they had towers along the entire mountain. They had set up a school in their main settlement, even containing their vault within the very school itself. It was truly magnificent, with three floors, and two wings. Each wing arched over the stairs up and down from the plateau. It's walls were grey stone built from the remnants of their once grand tower in the wasteland. Black stone form the volcano was used as decoration and supliment since their tower didn't contain enough stone to complete the school. They taught Wizrobes, Lizalfos, Acromantula and Darknut alike. Their fledgling staff from each of the species as well. The apprentices of the Azure Wizrobe each taught their specialty. Three Darknut taught Tactics, Weapons and Armor, and Forging respectively. Aragog himself taught survival and Magical Creatures. Although his class had to be outdoors because even the Darknut couldn't figure out how to make the school big enough for the giant spider to get through. And finally there were four Lizalfos teaching about various subjects. The homes of the Wizrobes instead were in the various towers around the mountain. Their vault was a grand library, bigger than their previous and filling with new books at a steady rate.

There were many empty settlements around the mountain, but the Lizalfos chose to make their home within a settlement close to the top but not as high as the castle. It had tunnels going inside the volcano, and many paths going down to the "Fire Water" below. Their homes were inside the tunnel, but their businesses and cultural centers were on the plateau. Many stalls sold things from leathers to freshly cooked foods. They had a small school for dancing with an open ceiling so they could experience the weather as they performed. According to their leader, the rain was a very good way to learn how to "combine with the spirits," although Gufuu was still trying to learn what the old shaman meant.

Finally came the castle. A moat of lava wrapped around it, flowing from within the volcano, around the castle, and in a river down its side. The castle itself was not nearly complete, with its basement having two levels. One was for food storage and emergency shelter. Them below this came prisoner cells and a torcher chamber the Darknuts insisted on having. Even the Wizzrobes insisted it was essential! The elegant white stone of the castle was adorned with grey and black stones for decoration and reinforcement. Archways, pillars and windows all decorated with black stone. The windows were a work in progress, many just empty hoes until a stained glass window could be installed. The half finished first floor was impressive itself. A dining hall, kitchen, guest quarters, and a war room all in the process of being finished.

According to the architects, the second floor will contain; a "lesser meeting hall" for informal meetings, guest rooms for visiting diplomats, a nursery wing for all the baby boss monsters Gufuu seems to attract (complete with a balcony), and a Grand meeting hall with a throne. Finally came the third layer with the "royal chambers" for Gufuu to sleep in, the "Royal" library, and a balcony large enough for a Helmrok King to nest on. Around this would be towers for various purposes, primarily as embassies for the various alliances the monsters were confident Gufuu would make.

To this… The demoness was was exasperated and requested a non royal home somewhere inside the volcano. Something simple but homey. She saw many grumbled but eventually the monsters agreed that it would be safer for their leader to not live in the castle and for them to pretend she does.

Thus was construction begun on the volcano temple. A "clever" way for them to make her a home that was still secure. Gufuu was annoyed that it was a temple, but decided to not argue anymore. Every time she did thins just got grander…

And Majora was laughing his ass off at the whole situation… making Gufuu's headache worse.

Several days of being in her kingdom passed before Gufuu could get her whole Court together for a meeting.

The previous head of the Darknut had retired from his post to afford himself time to morn his mate. Instead there was three leaders, each apart of different parts of their Tribe. Dekiru was the new Architech Master, picked out for his people skills along with his capability at architecture. His fur was mostly white except for the occasional red-brown spot, while his eyes were a startling shade of blue. He resembled a Cavalier Hound, especially in his short stature and his long ears with curly fur. Short for a Darknut though… hence how he towered over every other race still.

The Military leader was a terrifying tall beast who had to crouch and kneel to fit into the hut they were using as a Meeting hall. The castle was still under construction and the rain was unforgiving today. His ears were pointed upwards and shifted at every sound. Dark brown almost black eyes watched the meeting with rapt attention. This beast of a Darknut refused to give his name out, so Gufuu took to calling him Grimm.

The last Representative of the Darknut was the most social of them all, and even larger than Grim himself. She was a Mountain breed of Darknut resembling a Tibetan Mastiff, and had many kills on her belt of the most deadly of the Darknuts foes… and the most friendly, as she was the Social Commission head. Her front and paws were a shade of tan, while the rest of her fur was black speckled with more tan. It was impossible to see her eyes through the fluff, but somehow the Darknut was still able to see very well. She didn't even wear armor like her bretherin, instead opting for a more berserker style of a tight leather corset, with a tassel skirt and tall boots. She avoided wearing metal seeing as she was from the far north region. She too disregarded a name, refusing even one given by Gufuu, but wouldn't say why she she'd deny such an honor like that.

The Son and daughter of the Lizalfos Chieftain stood to either side of said chieftain, the next chief and spiritual leader respectively.

The chief was tall for his species, his scales a motley green, speckled with spots of red. His golden eyes flickered to and fro as his tongue tasted the air here and there. He wore the mask Gufuu had given him before. He and his son wore leather loincloths and nothing else. His name was Tul-Yin-Selna. Clan name, Coming of age achievement, and role in the village.

His Son had more of a consistent coloration, primarily evergreen green, with his belly a lighter color up to the bottom of his chin. Unlike his father, he had the facial organs of a snake for sensing heat. Gufuu remembered his mother having those too, since she was from a distant clan. This boy was the younger of the siblings, but already the child showed promise in tactical thinking. He had yet to earn his adult name, so he was merely Tul. The ancestral name of his family.

Tiluna-Apega-Deri inherited her mother's clan name, discovered a new medical herb, and was a healer in training. Gufuu was having a bit of trouble with their Language, but still endeavored to learn it. Ti-Ap-De was a more desert type Lizalfos, wearing layers of clothing to keep warm. Her neck was thicker than the local Lizalfos, able to flatten into a Conra hood eyes and all. She was in mostly shades of tan with red and green patterning on her neck four eye like marks upon within her hood. Her eyes were tan with flecks of brown.

Among the Wizrobes was a representative from each element, and Azure as their overall leader. To Gufuu's great annoyance, they wore different robes and hats during the meetings than usual to remain Ambiguous to the rest of their collective… the only difference between them was the color of their robe corresponding with their elemental type. Blue for Ice, Yellow for Lightning, Red for Fire, White for Temporal (the only theoretical type since they can't crack the secrets of time, and mostly tend to the library), and Brown for Nature.

"I thank you all for coming before me as one. May our union last as our bonds grow stronger," Gufuu said, standing before her throne. She wore a black silken outfit the Wizrobes prepared as her "Official" garments. The top was tight against her chest and showed her bear stomach. The Lizalfos insisted the stomach was to be bare as it represents the insatiable appetite of the Demon Lord Demise. A skirt resembling the robes of the Wizrobes wrapped around her waist, but had a tie on the waist to make for easy removal. Warm leggings were under this, while metal boots and armless were made by the Darknut. It was a rough outfit, but Gufuu elected to wear it until they come up with something better.

"My lady," began the healer Ti-Ap-De, "tales of your battle against Malice are sounding among our tribes. You yet visit me for a checkup on your health… this I find a fowl slight."

"Silence Lizard, only the weak need a healer," growled Grimm.

"And how does that work out for you? Stupid hounds know not how to heal, letting the weak die before they can become strong," hissed Ti-Ap-De.

Grimm growled, but his retort was stopped by Gufuu's intervention, "I shall attend to that soon, but construction efforts require my approval. I am just… too busy to come by. I apologize," she said with a bit of fondness.

Grimm growled, but wouldn't go against his regent's will.

"I sense a new darkness dancing with your own," Tu-Yi-Se added, "your power swells, as does this darkness… what is it your soul calls out for?"

Gufuu's brow furrowed, "I… don't know… I'll… talk to you later about that…" she turned to the nameless Darknut, "how is moral among the tribes?"

"Your battles sing with the triumph we value so. Many pups play your tale. Dances of the Lizalfos shine with passion. Books of the Magely Ones are written with passion," the fluffy Darknut said proudly, "we are merry and glad to know of our lady's strength."

Gufuu nodded, turning to the architect Dekiru, "and how goes construction?"

"Well, very well," a barking laughter fell from his maw, "thanks to your order to leave the castle for last, we have worked hard on the settlements. Our tunnels stretch far and wide with warm homes. The Lava of the mountain is filled with enough magic to easily be handled and used for many purposes. The Wizrobe's school was a marvelous challenge for my Construction forces. Each room and hall carefully made for many to dwell within. Lizards were pesky not letting us help them build, but target did well enough on their own," spoke the jolly Darknut.

Gufuu nodded, going over to the Wizrobes, "and how goes your school? And the library?"

"Oh it's amazing!" Sid the yellow wizrobe excitedly.

"I'd say we have been doing well enough," spoke the temporal mage.

"It is difficult to find places to grow plants, but my students are finding it a worth while challenge," the nature Wizrobe commented.

"It's too hot here… but we are getting by," the blue Wizrobe huffed.

"The heat and might of the volcano is perfect!" The red Wizrobe said proudly.

"As you can see, we are doing well," Azure hummed, patting the hat of one of the representatives.

Gufuu nodded, letting out a sigh of relief. She then sat back and let them bicker amongst themselves.

Until…

"A Mentor, we need a Mentor for our lady!" Insisted Tul.

"I'm not letting one of you pesky lizard be her mentor," growled Grimm.

"We'll your not much better yourself," snapped the temporal mage.

"Why not summon a Mentor?" Offered Azure. Everyone went quiet as they watched the Azure Wizrobe. "Our texts speak of a legendary warrior. Volga the Scorching Berserker. A dragon hybrid of immense strength. He lead Lizalfos and Darknut alike into battle. While I can teach our lady magic, I feel such a warrior perfect for her combat training," the wizrobe purred. Gufuu had a feeling she had ulterior motives for summoning this one… but… it did sound appealing…

"Everything I summon is always young," warned Gufuu. Everyone looked to her… and saw the baby Volvagia in her lap… "I'm not sure if this Volga will be summoned as the warrior you hope…"

"It is still worth a try," the nameless Darknut said merrily, "even if he's a child, it would be nice to have another Champion~" Champion being a Boss Level Monster.

Nodding along, Gufuu stood up, "let's… do it at the highest point of the sun. In the volcano." She hoped that would help the summoning…

"That would influence the summoning towards a fire elemental," the Red Wizrobe explained to those clueless to magic.

Everyone eventually agreed, the next day chosen for the summoning.

Gufuu was nervous. Carefully drawn, the Wizzrobes drew a runic array upon a platform in the middle of the volcano basin. Many runes were drawn upon the platform that Gufuu couldn't make heads nor tails of. Apparently the Wizrobes were trying to influence the array towards an adult Volga… although Gufuu had a deep feeling it wouldn't work how they wanted…

Deep breath in…

Deep breath out…

Deep breath in…

"I call to the realm of darkness… within thine realm I seek a master… fire and scales. Ferocity unbound. Legend beyond time I call to you. Bring forth that which I desire. May this warrior of Dragonkin appear before me!" She threw her arms wide, pushing as much magic as she could muster into the Runic Array. The lines of chalk began glowing white, but slowly changed to red, then black. From the sky fell a black liquid, akin to tar. It fell into the array, smoothing out into a large circle limited by the bounds of the array. Slowly it stopped rippling, becoming a flat Black mirror.

As Gufuu stepped up to it she noticed it didn't reflect herself. Instead it showed a young boy the same age as herself. Shoulder length hair topped his head. His eyes were a sea foam green, with reptilian pupils. He wore a burlap tank top and shorts. Red scales were scattered across his skin, and scars around his scales. Scars scratched up his shoulders even more… Gufuu had a feeling his back was the worst off but she couldn't see that from her point of view.

The boy reached out to the reflection, a flash of a tall man in armor resembling Volvagia flashed in the boy's place moments before he touch the mirror.

A black hand reached out of the puddle. Quickly Gufuu grabbed the hand and helped pull the boy through. The tar like liquid completely coated the boy as he was pulled through the portal. He wrapped his arms around Gufuu tightly, desperately.

"I-I'm alive?" He asked in disbelief.

"Monsters can't truly die," Gufuu said softly, gently guiding the boy back to where her Advisors waited. Azure quickly cast a clean spell, revealing the boy to be just as Gufuu saw in the reflection. His scarred skin troubling to the advisors.

"I thought I had it right," whined the red wizrobe. They were very much upset over how wrong the ritual went.

"Our lady brought a champion back from the dead, give her some credit," retorted the white wizrobe.

"Is this really Volga the Raging Berserker?" Scoffed Grimm.

"Let us egress," Tu-Yi-Se spoke, "we may argue away from here. The hounds will not last much longer down here." He sounded smug about that latter part.

"I'm sorry my advisors… are still getting use to their roles," apologized Gufuu to her summon.

"Why did you bring me here?" Asked the blond, unable to take his eyes off the Lizalfos.

"I need help," admitted Gufuu, "I'm… still new to being a Demon Lord. My little Eyeope could only teach me so much…" she shifted her grip on the blond, making sure to have a good hold on him as she helped him up the stairs to the castle. "Azure," she motioned at the Azure Wizzrobe, "mentioned a warrior that both the Lizalfos and Darknut could agree on as a mentor… Volga. So I tried to summon him… and ah…"

"You don't know if I really am Volga?" Snorted the blond, "even though you're the one that made my new body? Why did you make me like this? Is an adult body really too hat hard to make?"

Gufuu huffed, "I tried my best!"

"And this is your best?" Volga rolled his eyes, "alright alright. You are still a Hatchling. I'll concede~"
