This is what I wrote for Kemvee for the DA Gift Exchange. It's about what Cullen needs most, some time off.

Spanning from 9:30 Dragon until the End of Trespasser, this story follows the story of Jowan and his friend Kena Amell. What would have happened had Duncan not conscripted Amell? What happened to Lily when the Aeonar fell? Could Jowan ever make up for his mistakes? Every potential Warden could have been a hero, but could Amell have overcome without the Wardens?

I am adopting this story and continuing where my brother left off when he died of covid last year. Please forgive any lack in quality, this is my first attempt at writing. Reviews are appreciated, I want to know what everytone think and what I could stand to improve on.

When Cullen went to his home village to meet with an old friend, he should have expected the trap. When the Inquisitor pleads with Dorian to use forbidden magic to try and save the Commander, the Magister is surprised - not so much by Maxwell's request, but for how readily Dorian himself agrees. There is no way it can end well.
