The week dragged on for both girls. Callie was busy studying and applying to colleges and Arizona was busy studying and trying to fix her relationship with her brother. The two girls, much to their dismay have had no time to really spend together no matter how much time they actually wanted to spend with one another.

It was now Friday and Arizona was drained as she walked through the halls, she kept an eye out for Callie, but she was nowhere to be found and it sucked because she wanted nothing more than to talk with her best friend and vent about her week. The blonde got excited when she felt someone come up next to her but when she turned she saw it was just Teddy "What do you want?" Arizona asked. She didn't mean to sound so awful but for one she was exhausted and two she was still made at the Teddy and her group of friends for being so awful to Callie.

Teddy sighed "I want to apologize"

Arizona rolled her eyes as she shut her locker door and turned to fully face Teddy "I am not the one you need to apologize to, you didn't hurt me, well, you did but at the end of the day I am not the one who needs the apology" Arizona said.

"How about we make it up to you and Callie?" Teddy said "I am having a movie night at my house, it's nothing crazy, it's literally going to be only us girls, movies, junk food and talking about boys and shit" Teddy said hopeful "I really do want to be your friend Arizona, you are so cool and just have an awesome personality and I am sorry that I messed that up"

Arizona sighed and looked at Teddy, she searched for any ounce of lies and uncertainty "I will talk to Callie but I doubt she will want to come" Arizona said "But i'll let you know" Arizona said as she gave a tight lipped smile and walked away to her first class.

Arizona walked to class and sat at her lab table that she shared with Callie but she sighed when she saw Callie wasn't there. She took all of her things out and got ready for class. Before the bell rang she pulled out her phone and texted Callie asking her where she was. She sighed again when Callie didn't text back right away, something that Callie always did. Arizona went the rest of the day without hearing from Callie and it honestly made her day suck. Callie had become such a light in her life that not talking to the brunette sucked. Arizona grabbed her keys and was about to get into her jeep when Teddy yelled her name. Arizona sighed and turned around, she really didn't want to deal with Teddy right now.

"So, did you talk to Callie?" Teddy asked "Because we all want to go to the store together and grab snacks and maybe find a card game or something"

"No, I haven't talked with her" Arizona said as she threw her backpack into her car.

"Okay, well, will you still come?" Teddy asked "Please?"

Arizona thought about it, she knew that Teddy wouldn't stop asked until she got what she wanted so, Arizona slowly nodded "Yeah, sure, I will be over in about an hour or two, I want to shower and stop by Callie's to make sure she's okay" Arizona said.

Teddy smiled and grabbed Arizona and hugged her "Okay, awesome!" Teddy said "And if Callie want's to come please let her know she is welcome"

Arizona nodded and got into her car and drove home. She was exhausted, she really just wanted to curl up in bed and watch tv and talk to Callie, that's all she wanted but Callie was M.I.A. She walked through the doors.

"Hey sweetie, how was your day?" Barbara asked her daughter, she could tell that her daughter was tired, she had seen it before, this burnout type of behavior and it scared her because the last time she had seen it, Arizona went down a dark path of not eating and not talking to anyone, just constantly shutting people out and hiding in her room. School and home, that's all she did and Barbara didn't want to see that happen again "You look exhausted"

Arizona scoffed "Gee mom, thanks" The blonde said as she walked past her mother and into the kitchen to go find a quick snack, she knew her mother was going to follow her in so she decided to speak "Also, I am going to Teddy's house for a sleepover, but i'm gonna stop by Callie's first, she wasn't at school today and she hasn't been answering my texts so I want to make sure she is okay"

Barbara slowly nodded "Well, maybe you should make sure you're okay first, because i've seen you look like this before and I don't want to go through that again"

Arizona stopped drinking the juice she had poured for herself and just stared at her mother "Mom, i'm fine" Arizona said with a huff. She knew her mother was worried but it honestly didn't feel like it was the same as last time. Because last time she was not eating, she was basically mute, didn't talk to anyone, not even teachers at school, it was bad, she wasn't taking care of herself and for a moment it also scared her and she didn't want to go back to that, she liked to new her, she liked the happy feeling and she had no intention of going back to that, she simply was just tired, she needed rest, it was her senior year, the work load was more than she was used to and she was still trying to get a handle on things and Callie really helped with that. She brought a sense of calm to her life and not talking to her was putting her on edge.

"Arizona" Barbara said with worry in her eyes, she knew she should trust her daughter but she was just worried "Please, just promise me you will talk to me if things start to get bad, please" Barbara basically pleaded, she just wanted her daughter to be okay.

Arizona went over to her mom and pulled her in for a hug "Mom, I promise that I am okay" Arizona said as she pulled back and looked at her mom "Yes, I am tired and I have a lot on my plate but I promise you it isn't like the last time, I just am stressed, applying to college, making sure my grades are good and I miss Cal..." Arizona stopped herself, she didn't want her mom to get any ideas, she didn't even really have a handle on how she truly felt about the brunette and she wanted to be able to figure those feelings out without her mom pestering her about it.

Barbara smiled knowingly at her daughter "Is there something more going on between you and Callie?" Barbara asked.

Arizona turned away and went back to her drink "Mom, no" Arizona said as she chugged the rest of her drink "It's not even like that, I just really like being around her, she makes me feel safe and I don't know, just please don't make a big deal out of this, I am trying to figure it all out" Arizona said as she smiled at her mom and made her way up to her room.

Arizona walked into her closet and found some clothes to pack for the sleepover she didn't even want to go to. She grabbed a tank top, some pajama bottoms, some clothes for the next day. She walked into her bathroom and grabbed her toiletries, she threw everything into her bag and made sure she grabbed her charger. She made sure everything was packed before setting her bag down and getting ready to take a shower.

After her shower she put on some black leggings, a white Nike hoodie, some white Nike socks pulled over her leggings and some white vans. Yeah, she was the type to mix brands and she didn't care. After getting dressed she quickly brushed her hair out and put it up in a messy bun. She then made her way back downstairs with everything she had packed and gave her mom a final goodbye before she got in her car and drove to Callie's house.

When she arrived at Callie's house she pressed the guest button on the gate code pad system. She waited until she heard someone ask who it was. It was then she heard Poppy's voice come through the speaker "Torres residence"

"Hi Poppy, it's Arizona is Callie home?" Arizona asked hopeful that the brunette was home.

"Yeah, she just got in" Poppy said "I'll buzz you in"

Arizona waited for the gates to open before she drove in and parked the car. She got out and went to the front doors where Poppy was waiting for her "Hello Miss Arizona" Poppy said with a smile "Callie is in her room, she just got home"

Arizona was confused, home from where? Because she certainly wasn't at school today. Arizona smiled and made her way upstairs to Callie's room. She gently knocked on the door "Callie?" Arizona called out. The blonde waited for a minute before the door opened "Excuse me, where were you today" Arizona said as she pushed past the brunette and sat on her bed "And you didn't text me all day? Did I do something wrong?" Arizona asked as she looked at Callie. She was a little worried that she had done something to the brunette.

Callie smiled at the blonde and let out a chuckle, it was so Arizona to make herself at home and not care to be invited to sit down. She walked to the beat of her own drum and she made her own rules and Callie loved it "Well, I was out all day with my mom, she wanted to spend the day together and I left my phone at home, I just got home maybe three minutes ago" Callie said as she sat down next to the blonde "I really am sorry I didn't text you, you didn't do anything wrong"

Arizona let out a breath she didn't know she was holding "Okay, so mother, daughter day" Arizona said with a smile "What did you guys do?" Arizona then laid flat on the brunettes bed, she was exhausted and lets face it, Callie had the most comfortable bed Arizona had ever laid on.

Callie smiled as she to laid back and faced the blonde "Well, we went for breakfast, shopped a little, mom got her nails done, then we went out for lunch, shopped some more, I got a haircut, nothing major just a trim and then I wanted boba so we got boba and then I came home to see that a certain blonde missed me a lot and blew up my phone with phone calls and texts" Callie finished with a huge smile. She loved the way that Arizona shied away and tried to hide her blush, it was cute.

Arizona grabbed a pillow and swung at Callie, but the brunette was quicker and dogged the hit "For one, I was worried, I thought something happened" Arizona said as she tried to swing again "And two, don't flatter yourself, I so did not miss you"

Callie rolled her eyes "Sure"

Arizona then sat up and put the pillow in her lap. She wanted so badly to ditch Teddy and just stay with Callie but she wasn't the type to be rude and ditch, she made a commitment and she always follows through.

"Do you want to stay over?" Callie asked "Mom finally got snacks and the popcorn maker working in the movie room, we can have a twilight marathon like you have been begging me to have" Callie said as she got up and walked to her closet, she took her hoodie off and she was only wearing a sports bra. She had no clue where this confidence came from to change in front of Arizona like this but in this moment, she so did not care because looking over at the blonde who all but had her mouth open was a good sign and she was loving every moment of it.

Arizona groaned. She was in a state of bliss looking at the brunette who stood in front of her in just a purple Nike sports bra and jeans. She had never seen Callie in such a state of undress before and to say she was enjoying the view would be an understatement. Arizona had always been confident in her body, so she never really shied away when it came to undressing in front of Callie, I mean, she was always in a bra and always either had shorts on or spandex, but still, this was a new sight for the blonde, to see Callie finally comfortable enough, it was a huge moment and one she wanted to remember for a lifetime. Arizona was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Callie speak again.

"Sooo, sleepover? Movie night?" Callie asked as she slipped on a T-shirt and then went to go find some shorts to wear.

"I can't" Arizona said "I promised Teddy I would have a sleepover at her house with Amelia and the twisted sisters"

Callie's face fell. She really wanted to hang out with the blonde especially since they hadn't had much time to see one another during the week because school was kicking both of their asses right about now, but she also understood that the blonde had other friends and she was allowed to hang out with them and spend time with them. Callie was a lot of things but selfish just wasn't one of them and if Arizona wanted to hang out with her other friends then Callie would and should be okay with that.

"They invited you, you know" Arizona said as she stood up and fixed her hair a little bit, she knew she ruined the bun she had put in by laying down and Callie's bed.

Callie looked at the blonde with wide eyes, never in her life did she think she would be invited to anything by Teddy and the twisted sisters, and she wasn't so sure that there were good intentions behind the invitation. Callie just coughed and shook her head no, it just wasn't something she had any interest in doing or being a part of "Uh, I'm good" Callie said as she grabbed her phone and plugged it in "Maybe you can come over tomorrow? I know you have been busy and I imagine you want some alone time so really there is no pressure but just know that if you wanted to stay over you totally could but if you wanted to stay home and relax or even go hang out with Teddy and them I would totally be okay with that as well, you just let me know" Callie was rambling and she honestly had no idea why but she just couldn't stop.

Arizona couldn't help but laugh at the brunette, Callie was really cute when she rambled. She placed her hands on Callie's shoulders to get her to focus a little better before she spoke "Are you sure you don't want to give it a try?" Arizona asked and when Callie had responded with 'no, I just don't trust it' Arizona had no choice but to respect that decision "Okay, I totally understand, and I would love to hang out with you tomorrow" Arizona said with a smile. She looked at her phone and realized she needed to head to Teddy's house. She sighed and looked at her brown eyed friend "Well, I got to get going, walk me out?" Arizona said as she slid her phone back into her hoodie pocket.

Callie nodded and walked Arizona to the door "Have fun tonight" Callie said with a smile and she honestly meant it. She knew how hard Arizona had been working and she just wanted to the blonde to let loose and just relax for a night.

"I mean, I would have more fun if you were going with me, but I guess I can survive" Arizona said in a semi flirty tone. She had tried her hardest to not really get too flirty with Callie but the way the brunette was leaning against the door frame and the way she was smiling at her she couldn't help but flirt, Callie looked like a freaking goddess.

"Well, you have me all to yourself tomorrow" Callie said with a wink. Callie was never really one to flirt but the blonde that was standing in front of her just brought it out of her and she was totally here for it "Now get out of here, I will see you tomorrow, come over whenever"

"I don't have the gate code" Arizona said

"78998" Callie said as she shut the door with a smile.

Arizona quickly got her phone out and put the number down in her notes. She walked back to her jeep with a huge smile on her face. Yup, she was screwed. She definitely had a crush on Callie.

Arizona drove off and made her way to Teddy's house. She couldn't get the brunette out of her head, which wasn't unusual, but this is different, she admitted to herself that she has a crush on her friend, so, Callie clouding her mind was completely different now.

A few minutes later and Arizona was parked outside of Teddy's house, she was about to get out when she felt her phone go off. She pulled her phone out and looked at the text, she instantly smiled when she realized who it was from 'I miss you already battleship, I really wish we were having a twilight marathon but I guess I can share you with other people tonight, have a good night'

Arizona all but squealed at the text, not only at the nickname but at the flirtatious manner of the text, could it be possible that Callie had some type of feelings for her? Callie had adopted calling Arizona battleship, ever since the blonde told her where she got her unique from. Arizona quickly typed out a response 'Well, like you so perfectly put it, Calliope, I am all yours tomorrow'

Arizona smiled and put her phone away and grabbed her bag and made her way to Teddy's front porch, she knocked on the door and waited for someone to let her in. She was however surprised to see Amelia was the one who opened the door "Hey blondie"

Arizona smiled "Hey" Arizona followed the brunette through the house and downstairs to where the other girls where set up at. She sat her bag down and plopped down on the couch where all the other girls were sitting "So ladies, what do we have going on?" Arizona asked as she made herself comfortable.

Teddy looked at the blonde "We are talking about boys and sex right now honestly" Teddy said "Christina and Meredith are talking about if they weren't in relationships who in the school they would hook up"

Arizona just nodded, this was so cliché, why was it always about boys and sex, why couldn't they talk about the future, I mean, it was about to be the second semester of their senior year and they had so much more to look forward to than boys and sex "What about you blondie? Any guys that you have your eye on?" Christina asked the new person who was now in the room.

Arizona just shook her head "Guys aren't really for me" Arizona said as she pulled her phone out, she was sad when Callie hadn't texted her back, she would be a happy distraction right about now, she was regretting her decision to be here more and more each second.

"Ahh, she's a pound cake type of girl" Christina said with a nod and a tight lipped smile "Nice"

"Pound cake type of girl?" Arizona asked, she had no clue what that meant "What does that even mean?"

Christina sat up a little straighter and smiled at the blonde "You know, pound cake, vagina girl, you like vagina and you like to pound cake the vagina" Christina said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Arizona couldn't hold in her laughter anymore, that was the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard.

"Oh my gosh" Arizona said as she tried to compose herself "Please, why don't you just say I like women" Arizona said.

"Because that makes it so boring" Christina said with a shrug "So, how does it work? Ya know, sex, with a women"

"Same way it works with a man" Arizona said with a small smile "Just ten times better"

The night was actually going along smoothly, they were talking about things, watching dumb movies, scaring each other, it was actually more relaxing than Arizona thought it was going to be, she just really wished that Callie was here to enjoy the night with her, because even though she was having a fun night with the girls, her main girl was at home a few blocks away.

"So, why Callie?" Amelia spoke up, all the girls were currently cuddled on the couch just messing around on their phones.

Arizona slowly put her phone down, she had been texting Callie and snapchatting the brunette almost all night so far and it was great, she knew she was smiling at her phone and she knew that she had been caught but she figured the people in the room would think it was anyone but Callie. Arizona looked at the girls who were all sat around her and figured what she was going to say next. She knew she had to go about answering this in a certain way because she didn't want the girls to go know she had a little crush on her friend. Arizona cleared her throat and answered the best she knew how "Why not Callie?" Arizona said vaguely.

"I just mean, everyone warned you about that girl and how weird she is and how no one likes her and yet you still went and became her friend, so, i'm just asking, why Callie?" Amelia said curiously, she wasn't trying to be rude or anything she just really wanted to know, she was curious.

Arizona smiled a small smile "There is so much more to Callie than the rumors that everyone has made up about her" Arizona said "She is just so smart and so caring and yes, she has some weird quirks but so do all of us. She is just so amazing, one of the best people I have every met and I am not just saying that, so, I don't really know how to answer your question because honestly, why not Callie?" Arizona said as she pulled her phone out again and started to text Callie.

Teddy jumped up and down on the couch and was clapping her hands together "YOU LIKE HER" Teddy said with a huge smile, she jumped down on Arizona and grabbed her phone, she started to scroll through some texts "OH MY GOSH, HEART EMOJIS" Teddy said and the other girls joined in on the teasing.

Arizona grunted and tried to get her phone back but Teddy was fast with it and ran around the basement reading the texts out loud "I really wish you were here Calliope"

"Who is Calliope?" Meredith asked.

"Oh my gosh, is that her real name?" Christina asked with an amused smile, teasing and talking shit was literally a sport to her and its something that she took very seriously "Weird"

Arizona ran after Teddy and finally grabbed her phone, she was pissed. Like beyond pissed. Because there was teasing and making fun and then there is invading someone's privacy "Grow the fuck up" Arizona said as she shoved her phone back in her pocket "You don't go through someone's phone like that, I agreed to come here and have a good night" Arizona said as she started to pack her stuff up "I'm gonna head home" Arizona said as she grabbed her car keys.

"Arizona come on" Teddy said, you could tell she was actually sorry and that she realized what she did was wrong "I didn't mean to invade your privacy like that, I know it was wrong, I really am sorry and I wont do it again" Teddy said as she walked closer to the blonde "Please stay, we promise to be good" Teddy said with pleading eyes.

Arizona took a deep breath "Look, I can tell you are sorry and I know it was just teasing and it's what friends do but tonight just isn't my night, I have a lot going on in my life, I just need a night to relax and I know I wont get that here, but lets all hang out on Sunday, lets do brunch and shopping, I need new clothes" Arizona said as she pulled Teddy in for a hug. She had no clue why she was so forgiving, but she knew deep down she wanted Teddy in her life but she was setting her own boundaries now and if their friendship was going to work she needed to set those boundaries or she was never going to have the friendship she wanted with Teddy.

Teddy nodded her head in understanding "Okay, deal, just text me" Teddy said as she began to walk the blonde to the front door. Teddy and Arizona said their goodbye's.

Arizona had every intention of driving straight home and going to bed but she found herself driving to Callie's and using the gate code. Arizona sat in her car and texted Callie saying she was outside. It was a few minutes later when Callie came and opened the door to Arizona's jeep "Arizona, what the hell are you doing here?"

Arizona didn't say anything, she just pulled Callie in for a hug and just started crying and she honestly had no clue why she was crying. Maybe it was the stress of school and the pressure she was putting on herself for straight A's and maybe it was now the fact that she had a crush on Callie and she was so afraid of losing the brunette but right now, crying in her arms was the only thing that felt right and so that's where she was going to stay. In Callie's arms.
