Hello! i know it's been forever, pwease don't be mad...

okay, let's see: Lavi's secrecy is exposed, Alma's alive, and Allen finds something,

Also, I need votes. I wrote a talkback(basically an interview) with two characters in this trying to get more in touch with. would you guys want be to upload them as like a side chapter? they're all really short and just contain useless information but they helped me get a feel for them. the characters are; Lavi and Road.

Apart from the fighting around them, the smaller group was shocked into silence. Kanda, who was previously struggling against Wisely and Tyki fell limp. Road continued to hold onto his face, soothingly running her fingers through his hair.

"What?" Kanda's voice was quiet, but the shocked anger underneath made Road quickly let go of him and walk back several steps. She clasped her arms behind her, turning away from the exorcist as she contemplatively closed her eyes.

"Alma Karma lives…" She repeated, "We've kept an eye on him, you know. We could feel ark Akuma egg being transported-shattered really."

Lavi felt frozen; he knew about this. He knew from the moment he opened Alma's files what they planned for him-that he was alive. How much he meant to Kanda... and he kept it a secret for the sake of letting history run its course.

Back then, Link had caught him and didn't say anything. Maybe out of bitter spite for what the Order did, maybe just because Lavi was free to do as he pleased as a bookman heir. That didn't stop heavy guilt from biting at him-this was his fault.

How long had Alma been at the Asian Branch since then? He wondered if he had woken up-probably, since the Noah were making a whole scene about it.

"You're lying."

"I'm not." Road insisted, turning back around, "I'm many things but I'm not a liar." She paused, "You love him, right? So shouldn't you be happy?" Road

Kanda growled, "You have no right to talk about things you don't understand-"

Lavi finally sighed, "She's not lying, Yuu." He admitted, "I secretly looked into the files. He was asleep...and being kept at the North American branch."

"...you didn't tell Kanda?" Lenalee looked at him, "It was that day, wasn't it? That day you were acting weird and wouldn't tell me why…"

That day, Lavi had left suddenly. Bookman wasn't home yet-Lenalee had felt something was wrong but didn't say anything because...well, Lavi had gotten more quiet and secretive after the incident and Lenalee felt it wasn't her place to stick her nose in it. She missed the old Lavi, but there was nothing to be done.

Lavi gave a small nod, looking away, "Yeah, that day. Leverrier...he was gonna use him for something, but Komui stopped it. THey moved him to the Asian Branch after that." After a moment Lavi looked at Kanda, "Sorry, Yuu, I should've told you."

Kanda grit his teeth, "Alma…"

"Is alive!" Road supplemented, "He was just sleeping this whole time. And the Order kept it from you…" She trained her eyes on Allen, "You keep a lot of things from people, dont'cha?" She shrugged, "No matter-eek!"

Road jumped out the way as Kanda finally ripped free from Wisely and Tyki. He grabbed the hilt of Mugen, twisting his body to dig his elbow into Tyki's stomach. Tyki let out a harsh breath and released it-his scars aching. Now with full access to Mugen, Kanda swiped at Wisely and the Noah leaped into the air, floating in his usual cross legged positon.

Then he jumped at Road. Road pushed off of one foot, leaping into the air and landing on Lero several feet up. Her eyes narrowed in concentration as her candles surrounded them. As if to join them, Tyki's tease began to come her out, fluttering aimlessly around the scene. Aside from a few exorcists fighting and a couple of akumas-the fighting had moved elsewhere. They were alone.

Allen, momentarily forgotten, readied himself to attack Road from behind. He crouched and was already into the air before Tyki intercepted him. He swiped-but Tyki knew better than to get hit. He dodged, choosing to touch the air to give the impression that he was floating.

"Come now, boy. Do you really think they've told you the whole truth? Aren't you curious of their lies?"

Allen frowned, "They haven't lied to me-but one of you did." He stabbed forward, and Tyki immediately put up a barrier to protect himself. His scars ached at being in close range to the weapon that caused them. Crowned Clown was such a powerful innocence-Allen was a powerful boy. Reborn or not.

"Ah, Road? Don't treat her like that-she loves you."

Allen didn't let himself look at Road-not while her insane uncle was fighting him. But he could hear her mocking Kanda, and then her giggles when he attacked her.

"She doesn't want to upset you," Tyki continued, "So she hasn't unleashed her true abilities. Not many beat her when she does."

"I don't really care," Allen grit out.

Tyki shrugged, "Maybe you should."

Allen heard Lenalee scream ,and quickly turned to see her holding her head as Wisely closed in on her. His eyes were glowing, and although it looked like he was wincing in pain as well, he still wore his smirk.

Not thinking, Allen shot the ribbons connected to his innocence to grab him. Wisely gave a surprised yelp as he was yanked back and Lenalee fell to her knees for a moment. Simultaneously, Allen blocked Tyki's own attack before cutting through the hordes of tease that came out at him in response. Wisely was fighting to get out of his binds, before a single wisp of innocence touched his middle eye-just a brush-and he screamed. Allen released him as he recoiled back, holding his head.

Tyki sighed, "...and there he goes…"

Road looked up from where she was holding a single candle, using it to block Mugen, "Wisely!" She cried out. She pushed back against Kanda, jumping away and expertly landing on Lero. She managed to catch him just as his stumbled back, soothingly whispering to him.

"Wisely? Wisely can you hear me?" She shook his shoulders as Wisely dissolved into pained gasps instead of screams. He looked like he was ready to pass out-the Earl could help him. Wisely cracked his eyes open to look at Road, clutching his head in pain.

"Road, it hurts…" He grit out.

Road sighed, "I know...I know...we'll retreat okay? We've done what we needed to do anyway." She turned out to Tyki, "Tyki, let's go!"

Tyki pushed away Allen again before nodding, rolling his eyes, "Right, right." Road's door opened and he calmly walked through it. Road handed him Wisely before turning around to face the exorcists. Lavi was helping up Lenalee, Kanda and Allen were regrouping and taking out the last of the Akuma. Everything was done and over with.

Road felt like the whole mission was pretty useless-but she supposed they accomplished what the Earl wanted. They were definitely sure that the Noah were officially back, Kanda knew Alma lived, and Allen knew about the Noah. Business as usual.

But Allen still trusted the Order, and that just wouldn't do. Road knew how this would end; the Order would paint them as the only bad guys in the situation, without taking their own faults into consideration. They wouldn't tell Allen anything that they should...she couldn't let that happen.

Because...because despite everything she did want the best for Allen.

"Hey, Allen?" She waited until his attention was on her before she smiled sweetly, "on the night the silver eyes trembled, the shining you was born." She sang, and at the song Allen stiffened.

"How do you know that song?" Allen asked, "That's my…"

Road giggled, "Y'know, I know that I wasn't completely truthful to you, Allen, but I never lied. That's more than any of your so called friends can say."

Lavi pushed Allen behind him, effectively blocking her sight, "Shut up." He bit out.,

Road shrugged, turning around, "Okay, Okay...sheesh juniors' got a temper. Until next time, exorcists!" And just like that she was gone.

It was silent for the the following moments, the rest regrouping. Allen stood off to the side, Allen, oddly quiet. He turned Roads words over in his head, eventually deciding that although the words were twisted they were somewhat true.

Road never lied to him, she just never told the whole truth.

And if that was so…he didn't know who to trust anymore.

Allen turned to the rest of the group, head bowed and eyes hidden. Noticing his silence, Lenalee hesitantly broke away from the group to call out, "Allen? Are you alright?"

Allen didn't respond, he only looked up to meet eyes with Lenalee. Then, he turned away, "Thomas? Where are you?" He called out. The little mouse hurried scurried out from under the rubble where he had been previously hiding. It seemed the mouse found a pocket of space that he took refuge in. Thomas climbed up Allen's back onto his shoulder and underneath his head to hide there.

"Good you're safe," Allen sighed in relief, and then, without looking at the others said, "Let's go, Tim." And left.

The group was left struggling to comprehend his anger.

Lavi was the first to speak, "We...I mean that's...probably not good, is it?"

Lenalee buried her face in her hands, "Oh no…"

For some reason, Allen didn't think twice before stepping into the ark. He knew it would be too easy to find him otherwise. The last thing he wanted was to hear any excuses, or anything at all, really. So he hid.

The ark was stark white as always. It was different from the last time he had been in it with Cross though in London. The Ark had been obviously brittle then, barely clinging on, but now it was thrumming with energy.

"It's so quiet in here…" Allen mused, "It's kind of pretty."

Tim fluttered around his head, seemingly knowing his way through the ark. Despite his lack of sense of direction, Allen felt like he knew his way around too. Almost as if he walked these steps a million times, more than anyone can count.

"Uncle? Nea, you've been strangely quiet." Allen called out, "Are you asleep?"

His head ached for a moment before there was a small laugh.

No, my dearest. But you seemed...busy so I didn't want to disturb.

"I don't understand anything anymore." Allen admitted, "I feel like everyone is lying to me."

I told you they are. I told you only trust me.

Allen laughed, "But you see, Uncle, I feel like you're lying to me too."

Another laugh, Fair enough. Say, how about you actually pay attention to Tim? He's been trying to lead you somewhere for a couple of minutes now.

Allen snapped to attention, apologetically reaching up for his golem. The golem was indeed tugging at his hair in a certain direction, towards a door. The door was white like the others, but it was locked with a chain. The lock at no key hole, so there was no chance for a key.

"Wha…." Allen walked closer to it, reaching out. His had touched the door lightly, "It's locked." He noted, and then experimentally touched the lock. The lock recoiled like it had been burned and then relaxed. Allen touched again, except he let his finger rest there and watched as the lock recoiled but then seemed to tense up,

Then, with a snap the chains snapped off the door and fell to the floor as the lock erupted in a bright light and disappeared.

Allen stared for a moment in shock, before shrugging and opening the door and going inside.

The room was...normal he supposed. Apart from the white piano, the couch and the way the room screamed energy, it was normal. With all the chains he expected some weird monster.

"Uncle…?" Allen questioned.

Nea laughed in glee, welcome Allen...to my piano room, your piano room. The piano room of the musician.

"The piano room…?"

The center of the ark...and where your power stems.
