"He must be trying to take me down himself." Kat said.
"Unless it's a listening device." Spike said.
He grinned.
"Two can play at that game." he said as he called Skye.
"Hello?" Skye asked.
"Chase bugged my collar." Kat said. "Ask the others to check theirs. You too."
Skye disappeared from the line for a minute before she responded.
"Nothing on us." she reported. "But that means we have been compromised again. We'll get the metal but we can't come back if its bugged."
Kat took the tracker and crushed it.
Bloodbath snatched the collar.
"Skye. There's some abandoned warehouses at the shipyard. Go there. I've got my drug smuggling operation there. Just tell em you work with me." the bloodhound said.
"Got it." Skye said and hung up.
"Wow. You build weapons. Smuggle drugs. What is next? Human trafficking?" Kat asked.
Bloodbath laughed. "No. I don't traffick humans."
Kat took the collar back.
"Come on. Let's go. We can kill her en route. And get rid of Axle."
"We might as well dispose of Lily while we're at it." Tracey said.
Bloodbath whistled.
"Pack up." Everest shouted.
Groans rose amid a chorus of "Yes...my queen!"
While the goons loaded their equipment in the remaining trailers, Kat, Everest, and Bloodbath walked towards the room in the back.
Kat immediately noticed Sweetie strapped to a metal table.
She had duct tape wrapped around her muzzle.
He grinned.
"Its almost time." he said.
Kat grabbed one side of the table and began to wheel her out of the room.
As they walked towards the trailer, Tracey approached them.
"We better burn this place if he has been tracking you." Tracey said.
Kat nodded. "Thats up to Bloodbath." he told her.
Bloodbath sighed. "We might as well since we've been compromised."
Tracey nodded and rushed towards the back.
Kat turned to Sweetie. "Why are so quiet? I was expecting you to squirm and make noises or something."
Everest put her paw on Kat's shoulder. "She's been quiet ever since she was strapped down." she said.
Kat pondered what Everest had told him. He gently placed his paw on Sweetie's neck. The west highland terrier gazed up at him.
Kat grinned. "I'd love to see Chase's expression when he gets a package delivered to him with your severed head inside." he told her.
Sweetie turned away her head from him.
Kat just stared.
"Oh, come on! Even that does'nt get you?" Kat said.
Sweetie ignored him.
Kat scoffed. "You're no fun!"
Sweetie watched as Tracey poured gasoline on Axle/Rodrigo.
Then she began pouring it around the vast wide space.
Covering, the floor, furniture and walls.
Once she was done, she approached them.
"Guess we'd better go." Bloodbath said. Kat nodded. "You can kill Sweetie en route."
The four left pushing Sweetie ahead of them.
Tracey quickly turned and threw a lit cigarette lighter into the warehouse. The flames spread quickly in under a minute. The big rigs pulled out of the warehouse onto a road and reached the highway a few minutes later.
