Rarity couldn't believe what was happening to her, even as it occurred in front of her. Just this morning, she was getting ready to open her shop. What she was not expecting were 2 dozen men; armed to the teeth and full of bloodlust, barge into her boutique and start destroying her tools and burn her beautiful dresses to the ground.

She has said this line repeatedly for all her life. But this is without a doubt. THE. WORST. POSSIBLE. THING! And she mean it... this time. She closed her eyes and opened them, hoping she would wake up from her nightmare. But unfortunately, she found her self in the devastated show room with angry Vietnamese soldiers still destroying her designs. She wished someone would come and save her. She begged for a knight in shining armor to recue her.

Then, as if things couldn't get any worse for her, a gunfight could be heard outside. She had no idea what those sounds were, but it caused the Vietnamese soldiers to stop what they were doing and grab their rifles. One of them looked out the window only to be shot through the head.

Six men rush to exit the building but as they get out, they were gun down one by one. One returned and informed the rest. 7 more got ready to exit. When they approached the door, a blade came into view and stabbed the soldier closest to the door. Then a man dressed in tiger striped uniform rushed in and rammed his bayonet fixed rifle into the throat of the second soldier. The third soldier aimed his rifle at the man's head. Right at the last second, he ducked and dodged the bullet. All he got was a light burn on the back of his neck and a ringing ear.

He lets go of the blade he had in his left hand and pulls out a pistol. Without any waste of energy, he fired two shots into the soldier's abdomen. He screamed in pain before he was shot to the head. At this point, this lone soldier just took down nine heavily armed men by himself. Needless to say, the remaining soldiers were wary to attack, as if they were in the presence of a demon from hell. One soldier took his rifle, pressed the barrel under his chin and committed suicide rather than to deal with this.

The next two soldiers charged at the man with their bayonets, but he kicked the dead corpse off of his bayonet and fired a burst of three from the hip position into the soldier on his left, parried the bayonet charge with his own and shoved his bayonet into the jugular.

The last soldier ran in the other direction and grabbed Rarity in a headlock while he point his gun at his enemy.

She screamed while the soldier shouts at his assailant. the other man, on the other hand, drops his pistol and tightly grips his rifle. He took a deep breath and shouts.

"Rarity! Head to the left!"

She did not understand why. But without thinking, she pushed her head to the left as far as she could. With his head exposed more than it was, the man across from them fired his rifle. With one shot, the projectile entered through the soldier's right eye, killing him instantly.

With nothing holding him up, his corpse fell back with a thud and released Rarity from his grips. She got away from her dead capturer, but she was afraid she may have fallen into another hands of a different capturer.

"No! Please! Take with you what ever you want!"

"Rarity."

"I keep a chest full of gemstones in the other room!"

"Rarity!"

"Take all of it! I don't need them! Even though I use them to make dresses."

"RARITY, IT'S ME!"

The yell pulled her out of her fear stricken rambling. When she did, she got a good look at her now savior.

"J-James?"

"Sorry I kept you waiting. But I'm here now. I'm here to get you out."

As soon as she found out who saved her, she hugged him around his neck.

"Oh James, it was horrible!"

"Yeah, I know."

"Oh they destroyed all my hard work."

"Yeah, I can see tha-"

"Oh the horror!"

"Rarity."

"Oh the tragedy!"

"Rarity! I'll listen to your horrendous experience later! But right now, we need to get the hell out of this building before they trap us in here!

Knocking her out of her 'dramatic' fit, she agreed.

"Okay... you're right. As much as it pains me, we must leave the boutique."

"Alright. Now come on. If we leave now, we'll avoid the reinforcements. I attracted too much attention already."

James got up and picked up his pistol and pulled out his knife out of the corpse. Just as he was about to leave though, Rarity stopped him.

"Wait! My sister, Sweetie Belle. She should be hiding upstairs in the guest room before those ruffians stormed into my boutique." She said.

James groaned in frustration, but quickly he shrugged it off.

"Okay then, new plan. I'll cover down here while you go get your sister. But be QUICK! No time for family hugging or nothing along that line!" he said as he loads a full mag into his M16.

"Well? GO! Emphasis on the 'quick' part!"

Taking that as her queue, Rarity rushed upstairs for her sister.

Just like the lobby downstairs, they tore apart the bedroom, trashed her workplace, and ruined 5 months of her works. But she repressed the urge to pull out her crying couch and focused on finding Sweetie Belle.

"Sweetie Belle?" she called out. "Sweetie Belle please! It's safe to come out now!"

She searched each room for her sister, but she received no reply from her sister. More and more, the fear of her sister's state worried her as she search room to room. Then She reaches the guest bedroom.

Like the other rooms, furniture were flipped over or destroyed. She was about to move on when she heard a faint voice.

"Rarity?"

Hearing her name caused her to search the room frantically for her sister. She searched the dresser, behind the mirror, the desk, closet. Then finally she checked under the bed and there she saw a small white filly, covered in dust, shaking in fear. When Sweetie Belle saw her sister, her face lit up with joy and confusion. Then tears welled up.

Rarity helped her out from under the bed and held in tight hug. Not even caring that dust was getting into her mane.

"Shhh, shhh. It's alright now. Those bad things are all gone now."

Sweetie Belle tried to speak but Rarity had to cut her off.

"Sweetie. We need to leave. There's a... individual downstairs. His name is James. He is going to help us and don't be alarmed. I need you to listen to what he say. Ok?"

Sweetie Belle nods her head. With her sister in her custody, she and Sweetie Belle made their way to the stairs. Halfway down, James crashed into them with panic.

Sweetie Belle was about to scream, but James shouted first.

"GET BACK, GET BACK!"

Before either could respond, the showroom windows shattered. In a blink of an eye, the room below burst into flames.
