Author's note: I am back sooner than I thought but I love hearing a good song and getting inspiration to write. That's exactly what happened! I hope you enjoy this next chapter. Thank you for continuing this ride with me!

"You say it to me like something I have any choice in

If I wasn't important, then why would you waste all your poison?"

Billie Eilish and Rosalía - Lo Vas A Olvidar

I hold my breath as I walk away from Edward and into the bathroom.

I take my time turning the knob, stepping through the door then closing and locking it behind me.

My back hits the cool wood door on my too hot skin. I feel flushed and like steam is rolling off of me as I try to catch my breath but I can't sit still.

"You knew this would happen,"My devil makes her debut for the first time in months with my Angel and Confidence defeated on her flanks.

"Bella?" Edward's voice sounds so muffled I'm not even sure if it was really him.

I pace, listening to them bicker over should've, could've, would'ves.

Memories of the last few hours flood my head as they remind me of everything that has happened up until now.

How history has repeated itself again.

"Bella!" I jump at Edward knocking on the other side of the door.

"What!" I snap. He deserves my irritation and I will take advantage of that.

I take a deep breath though and stop pacing.

I brace myself on the cool marble sink staring in the oversized mirror. I can see the walk in shower, large jet tub and advanced toilet behind me as well as the clothes rack with multiple dresses on it like Aro said.

I look everywhere but my reflection, finding multiple options of new high brand makeup, hair tools and jewelry sitting on a beautiful black vanity with a stool.

"You have to put your game face on," My Confidence tells me.

We already agreed and they made a blood oath. It's life or death so there's no going back.

But now it's time.

"I have to go. Are you okay?"

His words make me finally look at myself in the mirror.

My Angel cries. I look as tired and bruised as we feel. My hair is disheveled and my skin is more pink. There's not enough make up in the world to cover up the mess of tonight.

"You need to go Edward," I yell through the door before I can continue to nitpick at myself. "I'll see you out there." My voice is still tense but he knows I am right and we can't go out there together.

I continue to remind myself of the rules of the casino as I hear Edward's footsteps retreat until he leaves the room completely.

I rush to the rack of dresses and find something quickly.

A silk black dress that is floor length is the only one that catches my eye and is in my size. I quickly undress and slip the dress on, thankful I wore a decent bra tonight.

I move swiftly to the vanity, throwing my hair up in a clean bun with random flyaways that I throw some hairspray onto.

I rummage through the makeup to find the basics I need.

Concealer, eyeliner, mascara, and highlighter.

A natural look until most of the women here.

I choose gold accent jewelry, minimal but cute.

Innocence always worked for the gambling men.

I can feel myself finally becoming who I used to be.

My Confidence is getting excited and my Devil is ready to flirt.

"Bella?" I feel like my ears are playing tricks on me when I hear the voice calling my name. It was a loud whisper so I can't be sure but I'm listening more closely, hoping it comes again.

"Bella!" Another voice in a loud whisper followed by knocking on the sole, small rectangle window that must lead to outside.

I quickly grab the stool from the vanity, hoping it is tall enough to reach the window.

I use the wall as support for the stool and myself as I step onto it, surely stretching the silk dress.

It only takes me a few seconds to figure out how to open it and when I am for once thankful the faces match the voices I heard.

"Oh thank fuck!"

"Jesus!"

"You look hot!"

Jasper, Alice and Tanya try to look into the window butting heads while trying to whisper. I let out the biggest breath of relief, fighting back tears and the urge to climb out of the window.

"How did you find me?" I ask them, losing the battle of trying not to cry.

"I may have been here a few times," Tanya shrugs, "All the houses are built the same."

I nod, giving her a smile, thankful that she is here too.

"What's been going on Bella?" Jasper asks, looking around to make sure no one is coming.

I briefly discuss all that has happened since I arrived and the game stopped. I skip the part about Edward ending up with a gun to his head and me possibly breaking Jane's wrist. My words are jumbled but I finally tell them about the accusations of the Romanians cheating, my role in making sure Aro wins tonight as well as the blood oath Edward took to make sure this is his last game.

I am out of breath when I am finally finished.

All three of them look at me like I have just a horror story.

"Bella, you can't go out there alone." Tanya shakes her head, fear in her eyes because she knows how it can be down there. But she also knows what a blood oath is and she knows her statement is pointless.

Jasper and Alice also have a look of concern on their faces but they already know this conversation is going to end.

I'm going. I have to.

"Edward is there." I try to sound unnerved, I've done this before with Edward and I know if there's anyone he is trying to protect tonight it is me.

"If something goes wrong…" I start but Jasper interrupts me by holding his hand up and shaking his head.

"Nothing is going to go wrong." He is stern, his hazel eyes burning into mine with seriousness. "We will come up with a plan to meet up with you. If we cannot find you here, we will meet you both at the shop." He emphasizes the last statement.

I nod.

The crowd is getting louder with their cheers and shouts. The game has started again which means I am out of time to continue trying to make backup plans.

"Be safe, Bella." Jasper tells me.

"You too." I tell him, giving all of them a small smile.

I watch them slowly back off and walk along the side of the house until I can't see them anymore.

I jump off the stool and place it back near the vanity.

I look in the mirror making sure I look sufficient enough to go flirt with a man in the mafia.

I almost forget shoes before I spot an assortment of stilettos, wedges and sandals. For the sake of time, I choose easy slip on black pumps.

I didn't bring anything valuable with me but my phone which was taken. The clothes I wore aren't that important and can be left if we don't come back here. I still feel like I'm forgetting something or I might just be stalling.

Taking one last breath, I choose to go out the door that's opposite the door I initially came through. The Jack and Jill bathroom connects the office and a bedroom.

It's luckily empty. I move through the red and black themed room until I reach the door that will lead out to where the game is.

Rolling my shoulders back a couple of times before opening the door and stepping out.

"Showtime." Confidence says.

It's almost like an out of body experience when I walk through the multiple tables and people standing, watching the game. My chin is held high as I bat my eyes at staring men who are caught looking at me.

I give a small grin, sway my hips and walk past where Aro and his brothers are sitting. Jane rolls her eyes as I walk by which further fuels the fire my Devil is starting inside of me.

I spot the brother, Stefan, standing diagonal of Edward's opponent.

I watch how he subtly makes small movements when no one is watching, adjusting bigger than necessary and trying to peek at the dealer's hand movements.

I make a beeline towards him, acting like I am trying to get through to an empty chair and accidentally bump into him.

"I am so sorry," I say, looking up at him through my eyelashes before fully smiling at him.

His expression softens as he looks at me from head to toe. I take that as my que to adjust my stance and give him a full smile with an eyebrow raise.

"No, no, it is me who should be sorry." He smiles crookedly, reaching for my hand. "I am Stefan."

I close my eyes and pretend that it is Edward kissing my hand instead, knowing he is only a couple of feet away from me. I feel our bodies calling for each other and as much as I don't want to ignore it, I do.

"I'm Marie."

Author's note: I love a good alter ego to get through a night out. Are you glad Bella found Tanya, Jasper and Alice… well they found her. Also, do you believe Jasper when he says nothing is going to go wrong? Leave a review and let me know what you think!
