Chapter 8 - "It's None Of Your Business Where I Was, Commander."
"Ógæfa," His grip on her hip and thigh tightened. "Why don't you have your underwear on?" She pulled back to look at him.
"I didn't bring any clothes with me. I meant to go and get some before dinner, but I forgot." She grinned at him sheepishly. Olivia's head was a haze of arousal, Ainsley and alcohol and she didn't want it to be any other way at this moment.
That was the last straw. He had to walk away before they did something they both regretted but when he heard her small whimper as she pressed against him, he lost all hesitation as his own drink swirled in his head.
'Fuck it! I'll worry about regretting in tomorrow.'
Ainsley grabbed her around the waist and tossed her over his shoulder, making sure to hold the hem of the shirt down in case anyone was lingering in the lounge room. When they finally reached his room, he tossed her onto the bed before climbing between her legs and leaning over her.
"Tell me if you want to stop, Ok?" She nodded at him breathlessly. As she slid her hands over his bare shoulders.
He leaned down and kissed her. It was rough and hungry, and she whimpered lightly when her pressed against her core, the fluffy material of his towel teasing the bare lips. His slid his hands up the shirt and let them roam her body before deciding to just pull it off her completely, pulling her up into his lap so that she was straddling him. He peppered kisses along her jaw as he moved to her neck, nipping and kissing down to the junction between her neck and shoulder. He moved one hand from her hips to her breast, lightly squeezing and brushed his fingers over her hardened nipple. When she moaned softly in his ear, he knew he had found the sweet spot between her neck and shoulder. He sucked roughly on the spot briefly before biting down. As he did, he pinched her nipple between his fingers and ground against her core. She yelped and moaned loudly, pressing back against him. Her nails dragged up his shoulder blades as she gripped him tighter, whining at him as she was denied the friction she desperately wanted.
"What do you want, ástin mín?" His husky voice tickled her ears as his lips brushed against his neck. She pulled the towel underneath her thighs and rocked herself against his hardness. He chuckled but removed his hands and lips from her body, looking down at her.
"You've got to use your words, Elskin, or I don't know what you want." He smirked down at her. She huffed at him.
"I want to feel you. All of you." He carefully pushed her off, shuffling forwards to move his weight off the towel before removing it completely, tossing it to his side. He lifted her back onto his lap. Olivia moaned loudly when he bit down on her shoulder and rubbed himself against her core, the heat making her slicker in response. Ainsley groaned against her, and the pair continued like this for a few moments, grinding against each other and clinging on to one another before a loud bang made Olivia jump back. Ainsley quickly grabbed the towel and threw it around her as they looked towards the source of the noise. Aquilian stood in the doorway, averting his eyes.
"If you're going to fuck then at LEAST shut the god damned door! I can hear you from the kitchen!" Olivia looked absolutely mortified but Ainsley just looked pissed.
"You came all the way up here just for that?"
"Yeah, because you're not the only person in the dorm that's awake." Ainsley rolled his eyes before storming over towards the man. He pushed him out the door.
"I might not be the only one awake but I'm still your Commanding Officer." Ainsley winked at him before slamming the door shut.
"O Deus meus!" Olivia buried her head in her hands before flopping on to the pillows. Ainsley sent her a strange look.
"I see I'm not the only one who speaks different tongues." Olivia stiffened before looking at him.
"Yeah, A couple actually, just the important ones though. Elven, Witch Tongue and the Old Tribe Common language."
"Impressive. But that wasn't anything I'd heard before." Ainsley eyed her.
"…It wasn't. Just forget about it please, Lover?" Ainsley watched her for a moment before replying.
"I'll drop it for now, but everyone has their secrets, Darling. I just hope you will tell me yours one day?"
"Sure, one day." Olivia nodded. They laughed about the interruption, but the mood wasn't there anymore. Ainsley gave her a shirt and a pair of boxers to wear, and they picked out a movie to watch on the monitor hung above the end of the bed.
"You guys don't have a bad set up here, especially considering the budget." Olivia gave him a pointed look and he shrugged.
"We haven't been assigned to do a lot in the last few years, so we used our tactical funds to deck out the base." Olivia nodded as she tucked her small body into his side. Ainsley opened the bottom bedside table draw and took out a packet of mixed lollies and a packed of dark chocolate KitKat.
"I didn't peg you as a sweets person?" She smirked up at him.
"I'm not. These," He handed her the mixed lollies. "Are for you. The KitKat is just an extra." He smiled down at her as she excitedly opened the lollies.
They were a quarter way through the movie when he heard her call his name softly, he hummed in response.
"We shouldn't be doing this, should we?" He let out a short breathy laugh.
"The movie or everything else?"
"… Everything else."
"No. We shouldn't." He agreed with her. "But we do." She thought over his reply for a moment before he pulled her over his leg and into his lap, her back leaning against his chest.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm scared." She whispered the reply and he had barely heard her. He leant his head down and rested in on her shoulder.
"Of what people will think?" She shook her head.
"Of the consequences."
He lifted his head lightly to look at her. It wasn't technically against the rules to date or fool around, but it wasn't something that was celebrated either as the probability that it would cause a fracture in the team was higher than most would like, but consequences? There wasn't any as far as he was aware. He decided to just drop it for tonight and laid her down before pulling the covers up over them both.
"I wasn't planning on staying tonight."
"Just stay. No one here is going to care." She relented with a huff and they finished off the movie before dozing off. When 6am rolled around, Olivia silenced her alarm and slid out of the bed. Her arms and legs shivered as goosebumps appeared on her skin and she wished she had at least brought a jacket. She padded around to his side of the bed, tapping his bare shoulder. He let out a small noise to let her know he was awake, but he didn't open his eyes.
"I have to get going now. I'll be back later with your assignments." He hummed in reply, and she tiptoed out of the room, gently shutting the door behind her. It was early enough that it was still dark but soft lights illuminated the long corridor and the common room area, casting a faint glow over the room but the short hallway to her unit was dark. She paused when she saw someone standing outside and mentally cursed to herself. As she looked closer at the figure, her face paled and she contemplated turning around.
"Well, seems like I have more leverage than I first anticipated." Nathan eyed her up and down before his smirk faltered slightly. "A lot more."
"Commander Lalfon." Olivia nodded her head in acknowledgment. "Unless it's an emergency, my office isn't open for another hour."
"I'm not here on business babe. You should know that." He lunged towards her and grabbed the front of the shirt she was wearing and pulled her forwards. "I just finished my morning run and I thought I'd come to visit you. Imagine my surprise when you weren't here." Olivia felt chills down her spine. He had come looking for her this early in the morning?
"It's none of your business where I was, Commander."
The amusement left his face as he stared down at her. She felt him run his fingers along the shirt before taking the hem in both hands and ripping it open. She let out a shriek as she covered her breast with her arms and tried to move out of his grasp. The shirt however left her trapped.
"These aren't your clothes little Livy, and they most certainly aren't mine. So where the hell have you been?"
"Let me go!" Nathan frowned at her before taking a hold of her arms and slamming her into the wall. She hit head and nearly dropped the floor when the rest of her body followed, it was only that Nathan kept a hold of one of her arms that she remained standing. He twisted both arms behind her back and held her wrist together painfully high in a large hand. He used his free hand to slide the boxers down her legs. She struggled against him and tried to scream but he clamped the hand over her mouth.
"Baby, if you make this harder for me, it's only going to be worse for you, remember? You've been naughty and I'm going to remind you who you belong to." Tears slipped from her eyes as he snaked his hands down her body. The feel of it made her nauseous and she kicked out her leg. He hissed as she made contact with his hard shin and reeled his arm back before striking her in the side of her face. Her vision blurred and her knees became weak.
"Olivia. I warned you." He pulled her arms further up her back, the pain in her shoulders increasing before her arms suddenly fell. Her knees gave out and she dropped to the floor before turning to see what had happened.
Nathan was getting up from the ground and a tall man stood over him, his fist curled tightly. He didn't even give Nathan the chance to stand before striking him twice more in the face. Olivia recognised the man once his glasses clattered to the ground next to them.
"Nox, Stop!" She called to the tall man as he pulled his fist back for another hit. Olivia stood, pulling up her boxers as she did, and grabbed onto his arm, forcing the man to look at her.
"Stop. You can't do this, not here. He's still a Commanding officer."
"Olivia, are you fucking joking?!"
"If someone see's us, you'll be in trouble! Where does that leave me, then?!" She tried to reason with him. She knew Nathan could have him removed from the Force if he kicked up enough fuss. But if he stopped here and Nathan thought he could use him as leverage, he'd let it go. Lenox lowered his fist and pulled the T-Shirt closed over her chest. He glanced at Nathan, who groaned before standing up, narrowing his eyes dangerously, before looking back down at Olivia.
"Tibi." It was only the single word, but she understood immediately. He slid his fingers into her hand and gently let her around Nathan and into her small unit. Nathan had enough sense not to say anything but sent a warning look to Olivia as she passed him. He stormed off down the hall.
"Get ready and get your stuff."
Olivia nodded at him as he flopped onto the small bed, throwing his arms over his eyes. She pulled her clothes out of the walk-in wardrobe and slipped into them. The blush long sleeve and navy short overalls would keep her warm enough this morning but cool enough when it heated up during the day. She pulled on her blush thigh highs, pairing them with her navy and white high-top Converse. The B-Force insignia sat embroidered on her hip. She then did her hair up into panda ears, leaving out a little bit on each side for a messy look, and applied a small amount of make up after she washed her face in the en suite. She walked back out and pulled out all the books and accessories she would need for the day, tucking them all away into her laptop bag, including Ainsley's clothes. She tapped him on the chest when she was done, it had been about 45 minutes. He looked her over before sighing but nodding. He could tell from the minimal make up and the customised uniform that she didn't have any formal meetings today which worked in favour of his plans. He swung his legs over the side of the bed and stood up. She slung the bag over her shoulder and slipped her hand into his, smiling up at him. His lent down to press his lips to her temple before walking out, towing her along.
"You're up early." She had a knowing glint in her eyes as peered up at him. He smirked.
"Don't get too cocky, apparently I wasn't the only one not sleeping in my own bed."
She smacked his arm as they reached the end of the short hallway, but Lenox took an unexpected turn.
Ainsley, Christian, Elnath, and Lady were all sitting around the lounge and kitchen table making small talk when they heard the commotion coming down the hallway. Everyone glanced around the room before looking back to the hallway when Lieutenant Lenox Patel entered the room, dragging a struggling Olivia behind him. The four watched as he whipped her down into a chair at the table and leaned over her.
"I don't really care what you thought, Olivia. This is my compromise. I'm extremely busy today and I don't have the time to babysit you so you WILL stay here. If I come out and find you wondering around alone, I'll have you sent back to Pa's for the rest of the week. Am. I. Clear?"
"I have things to do outside today! I can't just stay here!"
"Then take the big one with you! I happen to know he doesn't have much on today." He turned to Elnath.
"Συνοδέψτε την σήμερα, έτσι; Κρατήστε την μακριά από προβλήματα." (Accompany her today, will you? Keep her out of trouble.) Elnath gaped at him before giving him a stumped reply.
"Σίγουρος." (Sure.)
"See? He doesn't mind. Eat your breakfast and behave yourself. I mean it, Olivia. He probably won't let this go today." With that, he thanked Elnath and left the unit. Olivia felt herself turn crimson with he stares she was getting.
"Sorry about that." She chuckled out. Lady narrowed her eyes at the small girl before commenting.
"My god, what happened to your face?" Olivia was quick to avert her eyes.
"I got into a fight. I don't really want to talk about it if that's ok?" She laughed breathily. Lady just nodded her head.
"We've all been there." Lady stood and grabbed the two coffees off the table before smiling at Olivia and disappearing down the hallway. Elnath said he was going to get ready for the day since he was now going out and about. Olivia apologised to him again and he reiterated that he really didn't mind, and he was, in fact, free for the day. When it was just the three of them, Olivia moved to the couch with the other two and plonked down in the corner and pulled out her laptop. They both looked at her expectantly.
"Who'd you fight? I hope you won after all that big talk." Christian smirked at her.
"I meant it when I said I'd rather not talk about it."
"I'd rather talk about it though."
"It wasn't really a fight, it was a one-sided beating, and I was on the receiving end." She looked up at him.
"And if you really must know, it was Commander Nathan Lalfon. Are you satisfied now?" He looked over her face, stunned. He didn't say anything else, just turned away from her. Olivia sighed.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be short with you. I'm just tired and I wasn't expecting my day to turn out like this."
"It's fine, I'm sorry I pushed it." Christian apologised awkwardly, the words feeling foreign as they left his mouth. Olivia tapped away at the keys on her laptop for a few minutes before she stopped. The two men watched as her eyes scanned through whatever she had been working on before she sighed.
"If you're going to continue staring at me, could one of you at least get me the printer details so I can do my work?"
"Yeah, I got them here on my phone." Ainsley grabbed his phone off the table, unlocking it and opening the notes, handing the to her. She took the phone and tapped a few things on her screen. Then she typed some things out and tapped on his phone a couple times. When she was confident that the papers were printing as she would like, she handed his phone back to him.
"Can I talk to you for a minute?"
"Sure." Ainsley stood and reached out a hand for her, she took it but let go after standing, turning to grab her laptop.
"Christian, can you make sure those files print properly, I'll be back in like two seconds tops but just shout if something pops up."
"What makes you think I want to babysit your work?"
"Oh, I just thought since it's actually your work, you might want at least some part in it." She quipped back at him. He jumped up to look at the screen before groaning.
"Fine, fine." He waved his hand at her. She grabbed her bag before linking her arm around Ainsley's. He gave her a small smile before walking with her to his room. Once they stepped inside, she dropped the bag and looked at him.
"Before we start, I want to say I'm really sorry and I will replace it if you want me to." Ainsley's temper only shortened when she said it. He had only given her two things that she had kept. Sure enough when she pulled out his folded clothes, he knew he was going to be in a worse mood than when she was abruptly dropped off this morning. He took the clothes and pulled them both from their folded state. When his shirt fell open, frayed at the tear down the front, he struggled to contain his anger. Not at her, but at Nathan. He dropped the clothes and grabbed her hands, pulling her sleeves up her arms, revealing the light bruises on her wrists.
"Oh, Svάss." He pulled her into him and peppered light kisses along her bruises. Tears dropped from her eyes as she collapsed into his chest. He let go of her hands to sooth her as she cried silently, his shirt soaking up her tears. She clung to his shirt as he rubbed her back and they stayed like that for a few minutes before she let go. She wiped her fingers across her face and sighed.
"I gotta get back to work." She laughed sadly.
"Me too, actually." He chuckled at her before sliding his thumbs under her eyes. "Your make up didn't even budge that much."
"Water and smudge resistant." The pair walked back to the loungeroom where Christian sat, reading through the papers.
"Don't think about it too much, your head might explode." She winked at him.
"Oh shove it!" He slapped the papers on the table before lying back down. Elnath appeared a moment later, looking towards Olivia.
"Ετοιμος να φύγω?" She smirked at him. Elnath shook his head in response.
"I didn't think I'd ever hear anyone speak anything other than insults in the old tongue again and then in walked you two."
"So are you ready to go, though?"
"Ναί." He nodded.
The pair got a lot of odd looks that day as they walked through the compound, even some unkind words but they dealt with everything as it happened. The official excuse for the odd display was that Olivia had injured her arm during training and needed help carrying everything. Lenox was right in assuming that Elnath's presence would be enough to keep Nathan away. Even at their rounds, he was nothing but polite. Olivia continued to speak to Elnath in his native tongue when no one was around and Elnath expressed his gratitude by cooking a traditional dinner for her and to his utter shock and amusement, she loved every bit of it. Olivia slept in Ainsley's room again that night, just in case a certain someone decided to visit again.
