Normaly, I should be in hospital right now, but sadly my surgeon got Corona and thus my surgery was canceled.
New appointment is in the middle of April, which sucks, for I am in a lot of pain.
But it is how it is -.-

Anway, I have uploaded the same story a while ago, but the first version is a tickle story.
This here NOT. And to be honest? I like this version here so much more than the tickle version.
Okay, the tickle version has been a request back then, but recently I decided to add a new scenario to this idea.
I liked the idea of V giving Eddie a massage and wanted to upload this to my german account.
Now you must know, that I am NOT really open when it comes to german tickle stories. I am scared to upload them there.
I already made negative experiences when it comes to that and thus, I try to avoid uploading tickle related stuff to my german account.
It's stupid, I know, especially after I have found so many dirty Venom stories online, but I am still ashamed of my tickle stories.
But it is how it is and I can't change it. At least not yet. Maybe one day, who knows?

So, this was one of the reasons why I decided to change this idea into a non-tickle story.
The other reason was, that I love to go into Venom's backstory a bit and make him experience positive things on earth.
And who, if not Eddie, can help him with that?

But see for yourself when you read this :)
Oh, and this one-shot plays a few months after the events of the first movie.

BTW, I am currently working on my first Venom longfic.
It's just something I write to get rid of my mental tension.
It's basically V and Eddie having some relaxing and fun days on the countryside.
Would anyone be interested in this? If yes, I would translate the chapters and upload them here.
But not in this collection, of course. It would be a seperate story on my account, for it is a longfic as I said :)
Let me know if you have interest or not. So far, I have written five chapters^^

And now have fun, reading this one-shot :3

(And I would be open for ideas (no smut stuff of course), for I am slowly losing ideas for one-shots.
I can't promise you to write your ideas down though, but when I like it, I write it^^. Could take me a while though.)

To answer the comments from the previous chapter
(Thank you so much for your lovely comments, guys):

Hellhound683
I love dragons too. I would love to see the Grendel Symbiote in one of the Venom movies one day.
That would be soooooo awesome :D
I am still feeling like shit and this won't change at all anytimes soon.
I miss my mom more and more :(.

Amettista
Thank you so much for your kind words :D
I always imagine how I would react to an alien, especially to such a scary looking alien like V.
And then I write it down haha. I love dragons so much and I was so happy to see that there are dragon-symbiotes on V's home planet.
I hope we get to see some of thoe symbiotes in one of the Venom movies one day. This would be so awesome :D
I am like you when it comes to horror and cute content. Mixing both is just something I looooooove :3.
But I can only imagine Venom like that. Not Riot or even Carnage. Nah, that would be just wrong XD. These two are no cuddle monsters XD
And I actually started writing again not too long ago. I just need that to get my mind off of all those terrible things in real life.
It's the Venom longfic I am currently working on and so far, I enjoy it a lot :).

0Thisisafakename0
Yay, there you are. I am so happy that you have an account now :D
And we are two when it comes to Venom forms and that being in the movies. That would be sooooooo awesome :D
I really hope they will chose the Knull storyline one day. But I know that such a movie would be expensive as hell.
I am sure the next bad boy will be Toxin and we then we get a third symbiote vs symbiote fight in the end of the movie XD
I would love to get a Carnage spin-off, but for us adults only. I want my R-rated Carnage! Gimme the blood! XD
As for my personal life: My surgery got canceled, sadly, for my surgeon has Corona. New appointment is in the middle of April.
And I actually started writing again, happy things even, for I need to relax myself and this helps me a bit.
Normaly photographing helps me to relax a lot, but my camera is too heavy and currently I can't hold it for long.
It feels like my cysts will tear when I hold my camera for too long :(. It's time to get these bastards removed...

Eddie and V are just so great together, no matter what they have going on between themselves XD.
Love or friendship, I don't care. They are just perfect XD.
But only these two. I can't really imagine Riot or even Carnage like that.
Okay, Carnage, maybe (for he can be the dark type of "goofball" too if he wants to), but Riot? Hell no. Poor Carlton though XD
Seriously, the more I write about V and Eddie, the more I wish symbiotes were real. I WANT ONE SOOOOO BAD XD

And as always:

I would appreciate feedback in the form of a comment very much.
Not only is feedback very motivating, but it also shows me that my story gets read and is not ignored.
If I get the feeling my story gets ignored, I won't update it, for I see no reason to do so then.
So please don't be shy and share your thoughts with me. I won't bite you.

Just relax, Eddie
Version 2

Eddie had been thinking about this for a very long time and if he really should do that or not.

Anne had only wanted to do something good for him, by giving him this coupon, which promised him a back massage and a foot reflexology in a spa. She had told him, that he could use that, after all he had been through and since he had had his birthday last week anyway...

Not a bad idea in itself, but Anne didn't know that Eddie was no longer alone and that Venom was still alive. He hadn't told her yet that the Klyntar had survived the explosion and still lived in his body.

Venom himself had often wanted to urge him to finally tell her the truth, but Eddie had denied and told him to hide whenever he was with Anne. He still needed time before he would find the courage to tell her his not so little secret. Something Venom disapproved of, but he respected, albeit reluctantly, his host's wishes and hid whenever Eddie told him to do that.

Like he did today, because Eddie had opted for the coupon and the visit to the spa and now he was sitting here, in a small waiting area, waiting for his turn. He had already stripped himself down to his underwear and sat there, only in his boxer shorts and a fluffy bathrobe. There was hardly anything going on and the few guests, who were there, went straight to the adjoining bathing area. Apparently only Eddie had an appointment for a wonderful massage...

Fortunately, Venom behaved, seeming to stick to the small deal they had made prior to the spa visit. Venom was supposed to keep quiet, while he was here, hiding from curious eyes and if he was "a good symbiote and behaved well", then Eddie had promised him to go to Mrs. Chen's small supermarket and buy some chocolate and his beloved tater tots for him. The alien was a huge sweet tooth and it didn't take long, before his buddy had agreed to the deal. Just when Eddie thought about that, he had to grin.

A little later, a young woman came to him, who led him into the massage room and told him to take off the bathrobe and lie down on the massaging table. She covered his lower body with a thin white blanket, turned on some calming music and spread some oil on his skin, which smelled wonderfully of herbs and which made him relax more and more. Skillfully, the tender hands of the young woman moved over his back, looking for tension in his muscles and they also found pretty much of it. Life as a journalist was sometimes tough and exhausting and Eddie had been under a lot of stress lately. This massage was like the revelation for him.

Venom, meanwhile, watched him from his hiding place. Well, more or less. He felt how his host relaxed more and more and how Eddie became sleepy. His pulse slowed down a little, just as his breathing did. His thoughts were clear and he gave in into the massage completely. Whatever this woman did to him, it seemed to do him good.

He wanted to ask him what she was doing to him, but he held himself back, since he had promised Eddie to be quiet and as sleepy as the reporter looked like now, he would only scare him, would he ask him through telepathy now. So Venom preferred to observe everything silently and figure out himself what she was doing and why his host was so relaxed.

He heard Eddie sigh calmly, as the woman's hands deftly kneaded his muscles and released the tension in his back muscles, before moving downwards. Briefly she stopped, covering his upper body with the blanket, before she continued the massage on his legs, slowly working her way down to his feet. When she got there, she motioned for him to turn around and lay down on his back. She covered his upper body again and then focused only on his feet. Slowly and skillfully, her fingers worked over his soles, finding the perfect pressure. Not too hard to cause pain, not too gentle to trigger the tickling sensation. It was just perfect and Eddie's eyes closed automatically and he slowly drifted away, dropping completely into the massage, enjoying every single second of it, forgetting everything he'd experienced in the last few weeks.

There was no Riot anymore, no Life Foundation, no Treece and no Carlton Drake...

Again a sigh broke from his throat, louder this time and the masseuse looked up and smiled at him, as she was working on his toes right now. Carefully, her fingers stroked over them, going into the spaces in between, before her thumbs pressed into the skin just below his toes and circled slowly, searching for the pressure points.

"Does it feel good?"

"Very good..." Eddie said with a soft smile on his lips and he closed his eyes.

Only Venom growled softly.

Eddie never allowed him to make him feel good, as he always told him not to touch his "private places". He didn't even intend to do that! He had only wanted to help him in the last few weeks, but Eddie had denied and now he was lying here, let himself be touched by a completely stranger and still enjoy it?

Again a growl and a wave of anger raced through his body.

Later he would have to have a serious word with Eddie...

The rest of the day was as calm as it had started.

After his massage, Eddie just stopped by to see Mrs. Chen to do his shopping and get Venom the promised groceries, before his feet carried him back home.

But he sensed that something was wrong, because Venom continued to behave conspicuously quiet. He hadn't exchanged a word with him since the massage and even at home, the Klyntar didn't show himself or say anything. Strange.

But Eddie didn't care at first, because he enjoyed the silence in his head. He might love Venom like a brother, but sometimes he could really get onto his nerves and so he enjoyed the pleasant calm in his head and it almost felt like he was alone again.

When evening came and Venom still hadn't said anything, even Eddie got an unpleasant feeling in his stomach. The Klyntar had manifested himself into his serpent form after Eddie had prepared the dinner, but he still didn't say a word to him and he avoided eye contact with him too.

And at some point it was enough and Eddie dropped his fork and scowled at his friend.

"Okay, Venom. What's wrong with you?"

No Answer.

"Did I do something, or why are you playing Mr. offended all of a sudden?"

Still no answer.

"Come on, man, what's wrong? You're acting worse than a little kid."

A growl.

"Seriously. What happened? What did I do?"

"I don't think that I have to answer that!" the Klyntar snarled, who still avoided eye contact with him.

"I think you have to answer that, because I have no idea what your problem is!"

And then, finally, Venom turned his head to him and growled right into his face.

"This weird woman today...she is allowed to make you happy and I am not allowed to do that?"

"What the…?! Dude! I hope you know how that sounded!"

"I don't care how it sounded! It's about the principle here!"

"What principle?"

Venom responded with another growl, but Eddie wasn't intimidated by that at all, just raised an eyebrow questioningly and tried to figure out why his friend was so mad at him. What had he done that had pissed him off so much? He'd kept the deal and bought Venom his favorite food, because he'd behaved good all day long. Especially during the massage...wait a second...weird woman who had made him happy?

It slowly dawned on Eddie what was going on and he couldn't help but grin slightly, as he got a faint idea of what the problem might be.

"Don't tell me you're jealous?"

Another growl and Venom turned his face away from him, preferring to concentrate on his dinner instead and he rammed his fangs with a bit too much force into the meat. He could practically feel Eddie's grin widening.

"No way, man! You are seriously jealous?"

"I'm not!"

"Oh, you're so jealous!"

"No!"

"Yes, you are! And you know that~..." Eddie teased, grinning broadly at him.

Venom just growled and didn't look at him.

"Stop being so offended and tell me why you're so jealous."

"I think you know why!"

"Because of this woman?"

"Because of what she did to you!"

"Because of what she did... wait, wait, wait! You're jealous of a simple massage?"

"Yes!"

"Why?"

"You could have asked me! I can make you happy, too!"

"Okay, first of all: Stop with this "I can make you happy," that sounds so wrong! And second: why should I ask you for a massage? The whole thing was a gift from Anne, otherwise I would never go there. So relax a bit."

And finally the alien turned his head back to him and his face seemed a little bit more relaxed than before. But Eddie could still see clearly how much this whole situation was bothering him.

"I could have done that too, if you had asked me! I've seen that you've been in pain for a long time, but I've never been allowed to take care of this. Instead you go to a human who doesn't know you and who takes care of this!"

"Many people go to another person who doesn't know them. That's perfectly normal, Venom. Such people are there to help people like me when they are in pain."

"I can do that too!"

"Okay, okay, calm down, man. I'll ask you next time, okay?"

"..."

"Okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, okay. Deal..."

"Doesn't sound very convincing to me."

"..."

Eddie sighed, putting his cutlery aside and running his hands through his face, before looking at Venom, until he returned his gaze.

"You're still pissed at me, aren't you?"

The Klyntar hesitated for a moment and then nodded his head.

Another sigh, louder this time and Eddie quarreled for a few moments with his pride, but in the end, he decided to jump over his own shadow.

"Would you be happier if I allow you to give me a massage?"

Almost immediately, Venom's face brightened a bit. The dark gleam disappeared from his big, white eyes and he grinned, as he nodded his head in response.

"Okay, fine. But there are rules to which you have to stick to!"

"What rules?"

"Rule number one: You don't tell anyone about this, do you understand?"

"Why?"

"Because I say so! Well?"

"Yeah, yeah, okay. I won't say anything."

"Good. Rule number two: Be careful with your claws. Don't slice me open!"

"Eddie!"

"Yeah, okay, I'll admit that I was exaggerating. But you know what I mean. And now to rule number three, which is also the most important rule: Don't you dare touching me in my private places, do you understand that?!"

"Yes Eddie, I understood it, even after the hundredth time."

"I just remind you, because if you don't hold your promise, then-"

"...then you'll kick me right back to my home planet. Yes, yes, I got that, you wimp!"

The reporter growled and decided not to say anything anymore, knowing that this wouldn't end well and he didn't want Venom to bite his arm off, if he dared to call him a parasite again.

Looking back at the Klyntar and seeing the widening grin on his face and the anticipatory sparkle in his big, white eyes, Eddie didn't really know if it was such a smart idea to allow him to give him a massage.

But now the cat was out of the bag and there was no turning back and he had to go through it.

Whether he wanted it or not.

Oh man, what had he gotten himself into here?

Only half an hour later, Eddie was standing in front of his bed and didn't know if he should really get in there or not. He had already taken off his shirt and socks. He preferred to keep his sweatpants on. Just because he wanted to be on the safe side, even if he knew that Venom would follow his rules and that he had no interest in his "private places" in general. But despite everything, he wanted to be on the safe side. Venom was curious and he didn't want that curiosity to get out of hand one day. And besides: He had seen enough Alien abduction movies to know in what this curiosity could end…

A startled cry escaped his throat, pulling him out of his thoughts, as Venom pushed him onto his bed and held him there. He was lying belly first there, murmuring into his pillow, as he heard the Klyntar chuckle, as he manifested himself out of his shoulder and into his serpent form and grinned down at him.

"Relax, Eddie~."

Just how he emphasized these words made the reporter growl again. He hugged his pillow with his arms and placed his head comfortably on it, waiting for what was about to happen.

"Don't let me regret this, V..."

"Never~."

He flinched, as he felt how two clawed hands manifested and which were carefully placed onto his shoulders, pausing for a moment.

Oh man, now he felt like being part of one of those cheap horror movies where people were abducted by aliens and about to suffer hellish torments through their experiments. Not a nice feeling...especially if you could call a real alien your best friend...

He shook his head, trying to banish those thoughts from his mind, focusing instead on what Venom did to him. The hands began to move, stroking slowly and gently over his back, searching for the strong muscles underneath the soft skin and when they found them, the clawed hands squeezed gently, but effectively, into these places and rubbed firmly over them, like the woman had done it before. They didn't find any muscle tensions, because the young woman had already taken care of that in the morning, but Eddie had to admit that it still felt quite nice what Venom was doing there and he felt himself relaxing a bit more.

The Klyntar himself always kept an eye on his host, studying his thoughts, his reactions and he was satisfied that the muscles under his huge hands relaxed, that Eddie's heartbeat slowed a little and that he surrendered to the massage. Apparently he was doing a good job and his reactions spurred him on to keep going. He was doing exactly what he had seen that woman doing that morning, always careful not to hurt him with his razor-sharp claws, which weren't really meant for such activities.

A small grin crept onto his face, as he remembered something: he could do something this woman could never do: He could use more than two hands...

He manifested two tentacles, that took care of Eddie's lower back, complementing the hands that were currently busy on his shoulder blades and a soft sounding sigh crept out of Eddie's throat, which only spurred Venom on even more.

"Am I doing this right?"

A nod was the answer Venom got to his question and he saw a small, satisfied smile on his human's lips. His heartbeat slowed down a bit more, just like his pulse did and his breathing became slower and much deeper than before. He felt the muscles under his hands loosen. Eddie wasn't as tense as he was a few minutes ago, sensing that Venom wasn't hurting him.

And Venom was proud of having such a deep trust from his host.

He carefully worked his way down the entire back, looking for the spots where Eddie liked it the most and increasingly concentrating on those spots. The shoulder blades in particular seemed to be such a spot, because whenever he massaged them, Eddie almost melted away under his gentle touch.

He hadn't expected such a reaction, especially since it was the first time in his life that he was doing something like this. But since he was with Eddie, he has done many new things that he had never done before.

If the other Klyntar would see him now, they would almost certainly mock him, because in their opinion, they were the highest life-form in the universe that should never submit to a being that was below their rank and strength.

For Venom, this massage was neither a submission, nor a sign of weakness. No. That life was far behind him. He had become a very different Klyntar and he had to thank Eddie for that. He had shown him that there were other things in life than brutal battles and invasions and the oppression of weaker life forms. Thanks to him, he had learned so many new and beautiful things and for the first time in his life, he experienced something like love that this close friendship with his host gave him. And he would defend this gift with his life if he had to!

"Hey, V. Why are you stopping?"

Eddie's voice snapped him back into the here and now and only now did he realize that his hands and tentacles had stopped moving. His hands lay still on his shoulder blades, just as his tentacles had come to rest on his lower back.

Had he really been that deep in his thoughts, that he had stopped the massage?

"Sorry, I was just thinking of something."

"Is everything alright with you, buddy?"

"Yes. Yes, everything is fine. I was just a little caught up in my thoughts. Should I continue?"

"Sure, but only if you want to."

Venom grinned.

"Sure!"

Shortly thereafter, his hands, and also the two tentacles, resumed their work and Eddie lay back in his pillow, totally relaxed, closing his eyes and sighing comfortably.

There was silence in the small apartment for a few minutes, until Eddie broke it with a question.

"What were you thinking about?"

"It wasn't anything important. Just relax."

"You sure it wasn't important?"

"Yes. It really didn't matter. Sometimes I still think back to my old home planet, but you don't have to worry about that."

Silence again, until...

"Do you miss your home planet?"

Venom's hands and tentacles stilled again and Eddie thought he had said something wrong, until the Klyntar suddenly spoke to him.

"Not really. To be honest: not a bit. You know, life on my planet was anything but beautiful. On the other hand, I like life here on earth much better, but…it's just weird to be here now."

"Weird? In what way?"

"I was once part of a huge swarm intelligence. I'm used to being among my own kind and always connected to the swarm. Ever since we killed Riot, that connection has been severed. The silence in my head is weird and sometimes I feel…well…lonely."

The dark and otherwise creepy voice had taken on a tone Eddie had never heard from Venom before. The otherwise cheeky alien suddenly no longer sounded cheeky, but downright depressed.

Slowly, the reporter rolled onto his back and, as might be expected, saw a faint hint of melancholy on the face of his not so normal friend, who was now in his humanoid form, sitting next to him and looking down at him.

"Oh, V. I didn't know that. Why didn't you tell me about it?"

"I thought you wouldn't care. So far nobody has been interested in how I feel. They were always scared of me. But not you. You're not scared of me anymore...are you?"

"No, not at all. But...what do you mean by "others"? Don't tell me there are more aliens out there?"

"If you knew all the worlds and creatures I've seen, Eddie... it would explode your little brain."

"Actually, it almost exploded the first time we met. I mean…freaking aliens?"

"Careful! For me, you are the alien, don't forget that..." Venom growled and he bared his fangs, but Eddie just grinned cheekily at him.

"Got it, V. Calm down."

"I am calm."

"Really? Doesn't really give me the impression that you're calm, though. Less than half an hour ago, you almost exploded, because you were so jealous at this woman, remember?"

"Not true!"

"Totally true!"

Another growl, louder this time and Venom crossed his arms defiantly across his chest, simultaneously pulling his tentacles away from Eddie's body.

"I can stop doing that, if you keep talking to me like that..."

To his surprise, Eddie laughed softly and he slowly sat up, grabbing his shirt, which was lying next to him on a small bedside table, and putting it back on.

"No problem, buddy. I think that's enough anyway. We should do that to you, don't you think? Then maybe you can calm down a bit."

The Klyntar looked at him in surprise and cocked his head questioningly.

Was Eddie serious?

"To me?"

"Yes, to you, or do you see another Klyntar here? I mean...that would work, wouldn't it?"

"I don't know…"

"What, you don't know? You have to know if you like a massage, don't you?"

"I've never done anything like this, Eddie. I don't know how it feels like. My species is not necessarily one of those creatures you want to spend your lifetime with. Let alone the ones you want to touch, you know?"

"Well, then it's about time we change that. Only if you want to, of course."

It was one of the strangest situations Venom had ever been in. Never in his long life had a living being offered to touch him voluntarily.

Why was Eddie doing this?

Wasn't he scared of him?

Or even disgusted by him?

They hadn't known each other for so long, and yet he seemed to have such great trust in him. That surprised him and apparently Eddie seemed to notice that too, because he laughed softly again when he could see the slightly shocked look on his face.

"Hey, it's fine, V. If you don't want that, that's perfectly fine with me. It was just an idea. I mean, you're always so good to me. I wanted to give you something back."

"Why?"

"Well, because that's how it's done here on earth. At least most of us do that. I don't feel good about just taking all the time. I want to give you something back too, you know? That's what best friends do."

The whole thing became more and more strange.

The Klyntar shrouded himself in silence, considering, judging everything and for just a tiny moment, he even wondered if this was just a trick from Eddie to humiliate him. But that thought vanished just as quickly as it had come.

He wasn't here on Klyntar anymore. Eddie wasn't a Klyntar. And he had never made fun of him or mocked him or even humiliated him and a look inside his head showed him, that he actually meant the words that had just said.

But... how did he want to do that?

Venom didn't even know himself if it worked on him, because the only physical contact he was familiar with was pain.

Would it hurt what Eddie was going to do to him?

No, the thought was ridiculous, because when he did that to his human friend, he didn't look like he was in pain. He even liked it.

Would he like it too?

Well, there was only one way to find out...

When he brought his eyes back to Eddie, he looked at him silently and seemed to be waiting patiently for an answer and apparently realizing how confusing the whole thing was for him.

"You don't have to do this if you don't want to..." the alien mumbled softly.

"I wouldn't have offered it to you if I didn't want it, V. Stop thinking about it so much and just go for it. It's nothing bad. I am sure that you will even like it. Assuming I can find the right spots."

Even Eddie had to admit that this sounded a bit dirty and he grumbled slightly when he saw Venom, grinning knowingly at him. Apparently he was poking around in his head again and had read exactly this thought.

"Stop that, man!"

"Stop what? I don't do anything."

"You're reading my mind again!"

"It's not my fault if there are always so many interesting thoughts inside your head."

The reporter felt how he blushed and he cleared his throat in embarrassment.

"You humans and your strange mating thoughts..."

"Oh god, V. Please...just stop talking..."

"Okay, okay, I'll stop. I'm just teasing you."

"Then stop with the teasing, otherwise I'll think twice about the massage!"

"I already stopped."

Silence reigned between the two friends after that and somehow it was that awkward kind of silence. Nobody really knew what to do now and even Venom was almost embarrassed by this situation.

"So, uhm...what should I do?" he asked curiously to break the awkward silence and he stared curiously at Eddie.

"Good question...I don't exactly know where to start..." he murmured and his eyes wandered over Venom's massive body and he thought about how best to start. He couldn't forget that his buddy wasn't human and had a completely different anatomy to his. He wasn't even sure if his body had the same touch receptors as his own...or a nervous system in general. But…Venom could feel pain. Then why not something like a massage or something like that?

He thought and thought... and at some point his lips twisted into a small grin, when he remembered something.

"I think I know something. But you have to lower your head a bit, otherwise I can't reach the spot I am thinking of."

To his surprise, Venom did him the favor immediately and without asking what he was going to do with him. He almost lay on his stomach like a cat, his arms crossed and he stared at him expectantly.

Only hesitantly, Eddie stretched out his hand to him, always keeping eye contact and he stopped for a moment, right in front of his chin and he looked into Venom's white eyes for approval, which he gave him with a slight nod.

"We won't tell anyone about this, okay pal?"

"I'll tell Mrs. C tomorrow," the Klyntar said with a teasing grin and Eddie just rolled his eyes, choosing to ignore the slight provocation. Instead, he placed the fingertips of one hand under Venom's chin and gently stroked his fingers over the black mass, which felt surprisingly warm and soft. He had rarely touched Venom before and mostly only when he wanted to drag him away from something in his serpent form. He hadn't thought about how he felt then. But now he felt it all too clearly and it wasn't uncomfortable.

"Do you feel how I touch you?"

"Yes."

"It's not uncomfortable, is it?"

"No, but it's weird."

"How weird? Describe it to me."

"I don't know, Eddie. In the world I come from, every touch means pain. But this...this isn't pain. It's something completely different. Positively different."

"Well, that sounds like a good start. And how is that?"

Eddie pressed his fingers a little harder into the black mass and lightly scratched it with his fingernails.

The reaction he got shocked not only him, but also Venom, as he leaned forward even more and nearly fell on top of Eddie. His eyes slowly closed, until only two thin white lines were visible on his face. His mouth opened slightly, tongue lolling out of the side of his mouth and a pleasant growl came from the depths of his throat, as he leaned into the touch even more.

"Oh, Eddie...please, go on...this feels sooooo good~."

The reporter couldn't help but laugh, as he saw Venom's body tremble under his touch and he literally melted away. At the same time, he dropped forward...almost burying Eddie under him, who then laughed even louder, as he fell back into his pillow, but didn't lose contact to Venom's chin and continued.

"So, that's how you can be tamed, huh? That's interesting..." he remarked with a big grin, when Venom's body started to vibrate and what sounded like a purr reached Eddie's ears. A sound, he had never heard from the Klyntar before and it seemed that Venom himself seemed completely shocked that he could produce such a sound. But the shock lasted for like two seconds, before his eyes closed again and he surrendered fully to his human friend and what he did to him.

"A little more to the left, Eddie. Oh yeah…right there~," he growled and he wrapped his arms around Eddie's body, purring happily, as he tilted his head back further and offered his throat to his human friend.

The greatest vote of confidence he could give...at least in the world he came from.

But his home planet faded more and more from his inner vision, as he focused only on Eddie's fingers, which gently wiggled over his throat or scratched over his chin.

"Oh man, V. You're really killing me right now," Eddie laughed, as Venom flopped onto his side, stretching himself out on the covers and just enjoying himself.

"I don't know what's wrong with me..." he purred and he could hardly stop and when he opened his eyes again, he looked expectantly at Eddie, who was now sitting next to him and watching him with great amusement in his eyes.

"What? Do you want me to continue?"

A nod was the answer he got and his grin widened and he chuckled again, as Venom tilted his head back and offered him his throat again.

"Please Eddie~."

"Okay, okay, if you ask so nicely..."

Again his loud purr filled the small apartment, as Eddie's fingers pressed under his chin again and started scratching him there, with both hands this time, and he almost lost himself in the pleasantly feeling and now slowly drifted away.

Feelings like this were so new to him, but they weren't negative. Oh no. Not a bit. They were extremely positive and he wished Eddie would never stop. But he knew he couldn't keep this this up forever.

But he would enjoy it while it lasted...

Eventually they both lost track of time and in the end, Eddie's apartment was quiet like he hadn't experienced it in a long time.

But it wasn't an awkward silence, because this time he wasn't alone anymore.

Venom eventually had rolled back onto him and almost buried him underneath his huge body and fell asleep on top of him and the journalist hardly dared to move to avoid waking his alien friend.

He had never seen him sleep. It was so unusual and maybe even a little funny to see Venom lying there on top of him: his head on his chest, his tongue hanging out of his mouth and at that moment, Eddie didn't give a damn about the fact, that he was being drooled all over.

It was amazing that he had done this. He, a small, insignificant human, had managed to "tame" such a dangerous being as Venom and only by scratching the underside of his chin. So it had its advantages that Anne had a cat. Even if said cat had never liked him, but even this little monster had almost melted away, when he had scratched it under the chin. And it seemed, he could tame even a dangerous and bloodthirsty aliens like Venom with this technique.

Just the thought of it made him grin broadly and if he had reached his smartphone, which was lying on the bedside table next to the bed, he would have taken a picture of this bizarre situation at that very moment.

But the sight would be burned into his memory forever one way or the other; he was sure of that. And a little voice inside him told him that it wasn't the last time anyway and that Venom would almost certainly ask him to do it again. Given how he had purred earlier, he would ask him for an encore by tomorrow evening at the latest...

With a smile, he shook his head and placed it comfortably on his pillow and closed his own eyes. The evening had already begun and he hadn't felt so relaxed in a long time and he wanted to take advantage of that and now get a good night's sleep as well.

He couldn't get up anyway.

Once again he felt a broad smile tug at the corners of his mouth, as another thought came through his mind: He was no longer alone and only now did he realize how much he had missed the physical closeness. Not necessarily romantic in nature. Just being close to someone and knowing that he was no longer alone and that there was always someone by his side.

And it was this thought that finally made him fall asleep with a pleasantly warm feeling in his chest...
