Something short, so don't expect too much ;)
I think some people noticed the controllers, lying under Eddie's TV in the actual movie
and I've wondered so many times why they're there.
Here is my answer XD.
And BTW: Have you seen Venom's creepy competitor Morbius yet?
A damn cool movie. I'm going to watch it in cinema for the second time today.
I highly recommend it. If you have the chance to watch this movie in ATMOS: DO IT! :D
To answer the comments from the previous chapter
(Thank you so much for your lovely comments, guys):

Again, thank you so much. Your comments giving me life, I swear
And nope, no one is bothering me about my stories, not tickle releated.
I think most people just ignore the non-tickle stories.
And yes, I love Dragons since I was a child and since I saw the movie "Dragonheart".
Still love it and I was so pleased to see that there are dragon-like symbiotes on V's home planet.
I so hope we get to see them on the big screen one day. That would be awesome :D
As for Carnage: I am sure he will return in the movieverse, for you can't kill him off that easily ;)
He died so many times in the comics and always returned. Just like Supernatural (the TV show) XD.
And I can understand V and why he was leaving Eddie at some point in the movie.
Remember that breakfast scene and when Eddie seriously told him he could give him support?
Hello, Eddie? V is making freaking breakfast for you and tries to cheer you up. Is this no support in your eyes? O_o
No wonder Venom was leaving him then. I would have left him too to be honest.
Hahaha oh man and those pictures in my head right now when you wrote about how V is throwing Eddie into the air. Priceless XD.
I need to add this to my longfic somehow XD.
Hellhound683
Not only you haha. Wouldn't say now to a nice massage from V and some cuddles afterwards
And I hope my next appointment (which will be in one and a half week) won't get canceled again.
It's getting very uncomfortable for me right now. To the point where I can't even walk without having pain :(.
And as always:
I would appreciate feedback in the form of a comment very much.
Not only is feedback very motivating, but it also shows me that my story gets read and is not ignored.
If I get the feeling my story gets ignored, I won't update it, for I see no reason to do so then.
So please don't be shy and share your thoughts with me. I won't bite you.
Game Night
Evening rolled over San Francisco that day with a rumble of thunder, as a thunderstorm was coming up. Rain was already whipping through the air and the people, who were still on the streets, ran through the rain to get to their houses while they were still reasonably dry.
Venom stared ruefully out the window, trying to see through the streaks of rain on the glass. It had been raining for days and he and Eddie only went out when they really had to. Usually only when Eddie had to do an interview or when he should stop by his boss to get information for his next job. After that, they usually only went to Mrs. Chen's for a short time to do their shopping and then went back home.
It's been like this for days.
And Venom was tired of it. More than tired!
He wanted to be out there, exploring this new, exciting world together with his best friend and not sitting in this apartment and wasting their precious time. But he couldn't get Eddie outside in this weather and if he was honest, he didn't like this weather either. It was uncomfortable to be soaking wet and the rain brought cooler air with it. It was far more pleasant to sit here in front of the window and watch everything from there. But even that just got boring at some point...
A loud noise snapped him out of his daydreams and his head snapped around.
"Oh, sorry V. I didn't mean to startle you," Eddie said, just walking through the door; in his hands he held a large package and Venom tilted his head questioningly. He hadn't even noticed that Eddie had left their apartment after his shower. Wow. Was he really that caught up in his thoughts?
"It's okay," he murmured softly, his eyes still fixed on the package in his human's hands.
Eddie closed the door behind him with his foot and then set the package down on the sofa, before stretching out his arms and motioning for Venom to reconnect with him. What he also did and he immediately scanned Eddie's brain for new information, but he realized, with frustration, that his friend was once again withholding any information about this ominous package from him and he growled because of that.
"Hey, don't growl at me like that. It's a surprise and you don't want to spoil it, right?"
"A surprise? What kind of surprise?"
"Oh, you're going to like it," the reporter said with a broad grin, as he went to his kitchen and fumbled in a drawer for a suitable knife to open the package. But he didn't get that far, when he winced, as his hand turned into Venom's.
"Use my claws, that'll be faster."
"Wow, you can't wait to see what's in there, huh, buddy?"
"By now you should know that my patience with such things is very limited."
"Okay, okay, got it. I'll open it. Not that you'll eat me in the end, because I was too slow," the young man teased him, still grinning and with the help of his not-so-normal buddy and his razor-sharp claws, it was easy to open the package. Styrofoam and other padding material then flew across the apartment, which made Eddie laugh and he had to pull the curious tentacle out of the box, before it would break anything in there.
"Calm down, man. It's not going anywhere," he said, laughing, as he reached into the package and deliberately slowly pulled out the delicate something that was inside.
"What is this thing, Eddie? What is it? What is it? What is it?"
Oh man, this was one of those moments where the reporter could only roll his eyes. Sometimes Venom behaved worse than any child on earth. So much for "dangerous man-eating monster from planet Klyntar".
"Hey! I'm dangerous when I want to be."
"And that's the point, V: If you want to be..."
Venom just grumbled something into his nonexistent beard, choosing not to say anything anymore and instead just watching Eddie and how he pulled something out of this package, which he'd never seen before.
"What's that?" he wanted to know, as Eddie placed the weird thing under his TV and onto their Bluray-player and then pulled two more weird things out of the box and a cable as well.
"You will definitely like this. This is a game console. A lot of people have a lot of fun with these things," explained Eddie, as he hooked everything up and put a CD into the console.
"With that weird thing?"
"Yes, with that "weird thing"."
"How?"
"Oh, you'll see about that in a moment," Eddie grinned, as he grabbed the two weird looking things and flopped down on the sofa and turned on the TV.
"Here, take this."
Venom eyed the weird looking thing that Eddie was now holding out to him.
"What am I supposed to do with that?"
"It's a controller. You'll need that. It doesn't work without it."
Skepticism was written all over the Klyntar's face, but he decided to just go for it and he manifested two thicker tentacles from the part of his body that represented his neck in his serpent form, into arms with hands on them and took the controller from Eddie. Before he could ask what to do with it, the television came alive, but instead of the usual daily program, something appeared on the screen, which he had never seen before. There were racing cars on display and when Eddie pressed a button on his controller, the cars on the screen magically changed colors and design.
"I'll quickly set everything up and then we can start."
"Start with what?"
Eddie grinned widely as he picked a car.
"Oh, you'll see about that, pal..."
An hour later, Venom dropped his controller on the sofa and growled in frustration while Eddie couldn't stop grinning at him.
After Eddie had explained everything to him and what people use such game consoles for and how the game, which he had chosen, worked, the fun could begin. Eddie had chosen one of the many racing games. After all, he had to look for a game that the two of them could play together and a racing game was ideal for both of them. Mainly to kill some time, when they couldn't do anything else due to the persistent rain outside. But also just for some fun.
"Oh man, V. You really suck at this," the reporter laughed, as he switched back to the game's menu. It was now the seventh or eighth round and not once had Venom won. Admittedly, it was mean to laugh at him, considering that until an hour ago he hadn't even known what a game console was. So it was no wonder that he didn't win one of the races. But that seemed to frustrate him more and more, because he only grumbled in response and crossed his arms over his chest.
He had manifested himself into his humanoid form and was now sitting next to Eddie, sulking.
"It's unfair and you know it. You have a lot more experience with that than I do."
"Not really. I've never owned a game console before."
"For real?
"For real."
The reporter sat back and crossed his arms behind his head and grinned cheekily into his face.
"I can't help it if I'm a natural and you're so bad at this."
A low growl answered him and Venom threw the controller onto Eddie's legs and grabbed his own.
"I want revenge! And this time, I'll finish you off!"
"Oho, look who is talking. Do you really think you can beat me this time, big guy?"
"Oh yes, I will! You'll see, Eddie. This time, I win!"
"Well then, pal, bring it on!"
Said and done.
Eddie picked one of the race tracks they already had used before, to give Venom a real chance to win and the fun began all over again.
But soon it was Eddie again who was grinning broadly, as he took the lead in their little race and easily passed Venom's car, which looked like it was about to crash into the nearest tree.
"It looks like I'm winning again. V~."
Venom ignored him and instead stared intently at the big TV screen. It was very difficult for him to keep the race car on track, but he managed it somehow.
"There's nothing you can do about that, V. I'm just the better racer of the two of us and you're just a...HEY!"
The Klyntar grinned, but continued to stare at the television screen, as Eddie next to him started twitching like a stranded fish.
"Damned! V! Stop it! That's not fair!" Eddie growled and he had a lot of trouble holding on to the controller, because several tentacles were cheekily poking his sides and trying to distract him and succeeded, because Eddie's hands were shaking and it wasn't long before he dropped his controller and instead trying to grab the mean tentacles and pushing them away from his body.
And as karma would have it, his race car ended up crashing into the nearest tree and Venom's was the first to cross the finish line.
"Ha! I won!" the alien exclaimed and when he turned his head to Eddie, he grinned broadly at him.
The reporter sat there next to him, grumbling, legs hunched up and arms wrapped around his chest to guard himself from further tickle attacks. He glared at his friend and rolled his eyes, when he laughed at him.
"Stop laughing V. That was unfair and you know it!"
"How can it be unfair if there are no rules?"
"Well...true..."
Eddie grabbed his controller and searched the screen for a new race track.
"What are you doing there?"
"Now I want revenge!"
Venom just laughed and grabbed his controller as well and soon the rainy weather outside was quickly forgotten, as the two friends got lost in their video game...
