Chapter 6.

Time seemed to pass in a haze as Ash dozed in the shade of a wet sheet he had set up as a lean-to. His head resting on Ritchie's lap with Outlaw and Sparky on his stomach. His yukata was already halfway dry. Ritchie's blue jeans were as well. He opened his eyes at Ritchie's snorting. He watched as meowth held his jaw and glare at the flopping magikarp. 'When had that happened?' Ash blinked confused.

"Magikarp are extremely tough fish that very few pokémon can pray on. Add in their versatility in their living conditions and that is why they are so common." Ritchie stretched out his arms. Ace was standing beside the lean-to trolling the water with a silk fishing line. Gabriel pulled himself from the water with a some debris that had floated to the surface so he could make a few necessary survival items. Both rolled their eyes at the Team Rocket duo.

"Now who sounds like their mother." Ash poked his stomach and watched Ritchie's face go red.

"What a useless pokémon." Jessie screamed kicking the Magikarp into the water. James looked on in shock as every trainer rushed to their feet.

"Are you stupid?" Ace snapped as a light radiated out of the water.

"Oh crap." Gabriel grabbed the raft.

"We are so dead." Ash gripped Ritchie's shirt as a mighty and angry roar echoed through the water. The trainers froze as the angry Gyarados exploded out of the water. His rage filled red eyes landed on Jessie and roared. A mere moment later a school of them rose in answer to his call. Each gyarados summoned a twister that combined as they were launched at a single target, the trainers. The trainers all screamed as it sent them flying and the raft was destroyed.

During the attack Ash couldn't hold onto Ritchie. He was still spinning when he plunged into the water and quickly lost track of which way was up. When out of nowhere something slammed into his chest, knocking the air from his lungs. Breaching the surface of the waves; he fought to keep a grip on the smooth thick plated scales of the pokémon underneath him. His throat, chest, nose and eyes were burning like crazy. As he fought to catch his breath and cough out the water he breathed in at the same time.

Whipping the tears from his eyes he noticed two things. First was that he was alone. The next was that he was laying across the head of a large black pokémon. Coughing, he closed his eyes just trying to regain his breath. The weight of his backpack on his left wrist reminded him of the eggs. With a groan and shaky movements he pulled himself up out of the water. Sitting with his back to the silver fin and settling his backpack in his lap, was when he recognized the pokémon. It was a large black magikarp with silver fins and whiskers.

"You saved me?" The bobbing nod shook him, "thank you." He sighed in relief when he opened his backpack and saw his egg cases were still in perfect condition thanks to his clothes packed around them. He zipped it back up as not the lose anything out of it. As he pulled his pokédex from around his neck. A hiss escaped him as his fingers brushed against his throbbing torso. Opening Dexter he gasped when he saw the screen was cracked down the middle with the right side was nothing by multiple colored vertical lines and the left was solid black. A slight buzzing noise came from it.

He groaned he dropped his head. He slipped Dexter into the front pouch of his backpack. "Oh man. It's broken." Rubbing his face as he sagged. "Hope, Gramps can get it repaired. Magikarp do you know where land is?" The slight swerve told him that no the Magikarp didn't. A familiar cry in the distance got his attention, while the magikarp slowed her movements at the sound.

"PIDGEOTTO!" He screamed with his hands cupping his mouth, hoping his bird pokémon heard him. It wasn't long for his Pidgeotto swooped down in front of him. "Oh, thank Arceus. Pidgeotto this magikarp saved me. Magikarp this is my Pidgeotto. Hey Pidgeotto, did you find land?" She cooed and nodded her head. Before she chirped at the Magikarp who answered her. The two talked as she began to guide them toward the island that Pidgeotto and Sparta found.

Ash leaned back feeling the sun on his face for a moment. Before his chest throbbed painfully; as he took a deep breath; broke him out of his slightly relaxed state. So he sat up and opened his Yukata to show black swimming shorts and t-shirt. Rolling up his shirt he could see the already darkening bruise expanding down from under the wrapping to his hips. With slow and careful movements he removed the bandages from his chest, arms and neck. There was a darker patch at the base of his throat where Dexter normally rested. Carefully rummaged through his backpack as pidgeotto held it for him. Finding his bruise salve and tossing the ball of wrapping inside.

The smell of sitrus and oran berries wafted from the container, as he started to message the cream into his discolored skin. His fingers gently tracing the darker patch of skin that was his burn scar. Glad it was now fully healed only leaving a scar behind. Sighing Ash rolled down his shirt and redid his yukata as best as he could. The salve was placed on top before closing it up. It was a bit of a struggle to slip it back on and snap the two metal side release buckles. With the warm sun and light breeze he closed his eyes under the watchful eyes of Pidgeotto and Magikarp.

"How could you do that? He was my pokémon." James glared at the red haired Alpha.

"I'm sorry James. I lost my temper."

"You need to get it under control. You'll need to apologize to them and my Gyarados if we can find him." James cared about his team no matter how they acted in front of their 'enemies.' He still missed his first pokémon, but right now they need to focus on trying to make it to land.

"You're right. Hey, where is Meowth?" Jessie's voice shook as she looked around.

"I don't know, but Koffing is missing too." He pushed wet blue hair from his face.

"Ekans is gone too." Jessie looked around splashing in the water. "I hope they didn't sink." Her voice shook and she gulped looking at the darkened water under them. They both screamed clinging to one another as water shot up not to far from them. When the water cleared a gyarados towered over them.

"Gyarados. You're ok?" Those red eyes softened slightly at his trainer but growled menacingly at Jessie. "Jessie has something to say."

"I'm sorry, gyarados. My temper gets the better of me sometimes." A low rumble escaped the blue pokémon's throat as he wasn't sensing any lies from the duo. So with a happy growl he licked his trainer's face. Before allowing them to climb up onto his back. "Thank you. James, we need to keep quiet about having him."

"Yeah, Cassidy and Botch would try to take him, I'm sure of it." James leaned his back against Gyarados' neck. Gyarados rumbled as he dropped a poké ball in his lap. He rubbed the blue scales in thanks and to sooth himself.

"Oh man, what a pain." She leaned forward and put her face in her hands. "James, I really am sorry." She opened one eye to look at her partner who beamed at her. "So now, on to finding the others. Together?"

"Together." He nodded. Gyarados roared in agreement.

Ritchie woke up on a beach. The sand clung to his clothes and skin irritating him more than the drying salt was. Pulling himself up to his knees he grumbled about the Team Rocket trio. Sitting back on his heels he looked around him. Alone with just his backpack secured onto his back and a thick forest spreading out just beyond the beach. Not to far from him were 6 poke ball. One was his, two were Ash's and three slightly worn red poké balls must be one of the others. Reaching over he checked the balls only to find them empty.

"Sparky, Ash?" he croaked, before coughing as his throat rebelled against him. "First water," pulling the backpack from his back. He began fishing through his pack to pull out a bottle of water and drained half. Before pouring it over his face; flushing the salt and sand out of and away from his eyes. Dropping the bottle into his bag with his and Ash's poké balls. Standing up he ran his hand through his loose hair.

Taking deep breath to try again; he was cut off by a scream coming from further down the beach. Snatching a poké ball from his bag; he took off in a dead sprint. He found Misty scrambling backwards away from a Pinsir. As it was snapping its' pincers at her. She was soon pinned between it and a palm tree. It was bigger than normal and scares covered its' body and pincers. Its' black color was broken up with brown. With a snap of his wrist he threw the ball that he held in a death grip at seeing the large Pinsir.

Misty screamed as the ball hit the Pinsir's back and it was pulled in with a green light. Brock and Ashton came rushing out of the trees not long after and watched as the ball was shaking. With a click it flew into his hand, and he sighed hoping he wouldn't get into trouble for catching it. Shaking the weird feeling of Sparky not hanging out on his shoulders away he turned to them. "What happened?"

"That thing attacked me for no reason."

"You probably stepped on it, they have been know to burrow."

"Ew, nasty, icky, bugs." She whined as she stomped over to the water to wash off her shoes.

"Or it could be the noise she is making." Ashton sneered at the young woman.

"Do you have your pokémon?" Brock ran his hand through his hair.

"Just the one I just caught." Ritchie shrugged.

"We may need it to fight off threats." Brock sighed as he looked at the forest just beyond the palm tree.

"You will not be using that bug around me."

"Misty, you need to calm down. We may not have a choice if we are attacked." She looked away from the older boy.

"Fine; but you better keep it away from me."

"Ritchie; where is Satoshi?"

"I haven't seen him." With that he turned to go back for his backpack.

"Where are you going? We have to stay together."

"To get my backpack." The other three had a large sweat drop on the back of their heads. Ritchie stopped at his bag and gulped as he prayed to Arceus above that Ash and their pokémon were ok. Speaking of pokémon, he threw the ball releasing the Pinsir. Taking a good look at the bug type; he noticed it was standing around 5'11" and the tortoiseshell pattern would help with blending in with the underbrush. The pincers snapped at him.

"Hello to you too. My name is Ritchie." Ritchie bowed his head slightly. "It is a pleasure to meet you, my lady." She snapped at him one again annoyed, but curious. That was good as she wasn't aggressive anymore. "I need to find my partner, my cousin, and our teams. Will you please assets us in our search?" She scratched at the base of her right pincer while looking at him. He ran his hand through his brown hair; having lost his hat during the twister. Nodding she gave an approving cry.

"Misty; the red head; will be there as well. So try to stay close to me." She nodded again the a sharp snap of her pincers. The chaos that broke out when he walked back with the Pinsir right behind him had him sighing.

Sparky and Honey looked around from on top of Obsidian's head Zippo and Nova were in his arm. As they moved through the underbrush hoping to see their trainers. Honey had twin belts on her tail with a few poké balls attached to them. They had woken up in a tree. They called out as they moved only to get silence as an answer. Often one of the Pikachu would climb up to a tree to see their surroundings. The silence made their hair stand on end. Something was not right.

Outlaw had most of the displaced pokémon. He readjusted the belt over his shoulder as he looked at Charmander, Bulbasaur, Butterfree, Coral, Squirtle, and Sapphire who were his team. Happy who was Ritchie's Butterfree, Misty's Staryu and Starmie, Brock's Onix, Geodude and Zubat, And Ashton's knocked out Pikachu was being carried by Ashton's Geodude and a slowpoke. They even found Meowth, Ekans and Koffing as they searched. He also found Ritchie's hat in a tree.

Ace and Gabriel woke up on the beach to see a dock attached to a building. "Where did we land?"

"Lets see." Ace said as he pulled out his pokédex. Pulling up the map. "It looks like we on the island were the new theme park is being built."

"Really then that is probable the Welcome center." Gabriel scratched his head. Do you have you're pokémon?"

"Yes. How about you?" Ace checked to make sure his belt was still there.

"Yep, thank Arceus." There was a loud thump deep in the woods behind them.

"We better move." With that they made their way to the building. On the way the saw a caterpie towering over the tree line. It cooed at them before moving away. Making it to the door Ace had Scizor bullet punch the door open.

Ash made it to land and made a mad dash for the tree line; getting amused looks from the two pokémon. After a few moments he came back blushing up a storm and apologized to the magikarp.

"Do you want to travel with me?" The Magikarp agreed right off the bat. So one poké ball later and got concerned when it didn't vanish. Pidgeotto and Ash started to make their way through the trees. They were making some progress when a large Moltres towered over the tree line and tried to burn him to a crisp. Screaming he tried to run away. When he ducked under the intense flame his foot got caught on something. He hit the ground hard as he twisted his ankle.

As it powered up for another blast a boulder smacked the flaming bird in the beak. His heart was in his throat as he tried to catch his breath and he notice that its' beak was bent? "Pidgeotto, steel wing." The Flying type didn't hesitate as she cleaved the head off the giant firebird. A stream of flames shot out of the neck into the air as it fell to the ground. Taking a shaky breath he looked to where the boulder had came from to see Obsidian standing there looking quiet menacing. Honey, Sparky, Nova and Zippo were glaring at where the Giant Moltres had taken up the sky. Ash relaxed with a smile at the pokémon.

Turning to look at Pidgeotto only to be blinded by the light of Pidgeotto evolving. The larger bird cried out in joy and Ash laughed as the others started to cheer. Once he was calmed, he tried to stand. Hissing as pain shot up his leg. Obsidian helped him to his feet. "Thanks, you guys. How have you been?"

"Pikachu." Honey looked at her trainer.

"I made it to land with the help of a Magikarp. She decided to join us. Though Dexter is broken." Ash rubbed his face while keeping his right foot off the ground. Sighing as he noticed his shoe was broken. Obsidian picked him up and set him on his head. "Obsidian," Ash gasped and flailed his arms trying not to fall back. The rock type grabbed his legs. Pidgeot used her head to pushed him forward just a little bit. "This is weird." He tried to get comfortable. He put the belts back on his legs, before checking the poké balls. He groaned as he wandered how none of the balls belong to anyone here.

Honey, Sparky, Zippo and Nova hoped onto Pidgeot's back. As they moved forward; Ash traced his fingers over his swollen and bruised ankle. When night hit they camped out in a small cave with Pidgeot roosting in a nearby tree and Obsidian blocking the front of the cave. He tossed out nicknames to the newly evolved pokémon as he worked on rubbing healing salve into his bruised chest and ankle.

Early morning three butterfree were dancing around one another in the air. The sunlight gleamed off their wings. Outlaw saw a Pidgeotto shoot from the tree line toward the bug types. "Pikachu." Just before the pidgeotto got to them a red blur shot over the pidgeotto. Large talons dug into the smaller bird's wings and they started to spin. They noticing it was Sparta that intercepted the pidgeotto. They watched as Sparta opened his wings at the last moment so that the Pidgeotto slammed into the ground. The three butterfree fluttered down in greeting the large flying friend.

The Pidgeotto pushed himself off the ground slowly, glaring at the Fearow. He could see two Butterfree circling around the larger bird type and knew these were trainer's pokémon. Before the bird could do anything else a ball hit his head and captured him. They looked up to see Happy dancing above where the Pidgeotto laid just minutes prior. The ball jumped back to the butterfree, who cheered just like his trainer. Outlaw rolled his eyes as he walked up to Sparta who was grooming his feathers from the impact. "Pikachu."

"Fearow." Sparta crowed with a shake of his head. Everyone sagged in disappointment. They started to walk again with Sparta lazy gliding over head with the three Butterfree flying under his wings. The other Pikachu was sulking as they moved across the rolling plains. It didn't take them long to run into a large Rhydon. Sparta was on the defensive as the Rhydon focused on him. Outlaw worked fast to get on the Rhydon's head. The others fired attack after attack. Pikachu's thunderbolt was drawn to the Rhydon's horn and Outlaw's tail. With the powered up Thunderbolt channeled down his tail and into the giant's mouth, knocking it out and sending Outlaw flying. Butterfree caught him with his psychic.

Ritchie watched as Pinsir cut through the underbrush as they moved forward. He could hear the other trainers call for their Pokémon. While he would whistle a loud shrill sound. He froze as Pinsir stopped at something in front of them. The others ran into his back. They spotted a yellow belly between the trees. Slowly their eyes moved up to see a large pikachu towering over the trees. They dashed back the way the came away from the giant pokémon.

They moved slower and tried to keep the noise level down. As they kept looking for their team they were almost struck down by a thunderbolt. Screaming as they were blown onto the ground. Turning to see their attacker, a giant Zapdos, glaring down at them. Screaming again they scrambled to get behind a few trees. The trees were ripped from the ground by powerfully gust from its wings. When the attack stopped every one was glad they weren't swept away. Everyone screamed and clung to one another except Ritchie. He stood in front of the group with sweat rolling down his face as he watched the Zapdos hover before them. Electricity danced over its' body as it charged for an attack. Gripping his fist he braced for the attack. Just before their world went white a shadow landed in front of them.

When the light faded a man stood before them with lightning dancing along his body and through his red hair. A white Raichu was crouched by his right leg. A yellow bird with pom-poms was cheering for her trainer on his left side. "Jason," the red head turn to look at Ritchie over his shoulder. He had an excited smile on his face much like Surge.

"Let's go; White-Lightning, Venus; show this fake not to mess with our family."

"Chu." White-lightning rushed forward

"Ori," the yellow bird cheered as she waved her pom-poms around as she danced around.

"Venus, Helping hand. Lightning Iron tail." Venus cheered and danced as she and White-lightning glowed red. He launched into the air and started to spin as his tail gained a metal sheen. The Zapdos' next attack did nothing; but boost Raichu. As he went through it and sliced the giant pokémon in half. Venus's eyes glowed blue teleporting White-Lightning back to their side as the machine exploded.

"My that tingles." Jason turned to the group as he shook the last of the sparks from his hands. Ritchie threw himself into his arms. "I'm so glad your okay. Where is Satoshi?"

"I don't know. We got separated in a Gyarados powered super twister. How did you find us?"

"Your Pokédex." Jason ran his hand through his hair. "Satoshi's went dark though."

"How did you get here?" Misty Looked him over. He wasn't moving like he had been paralyzed by the attack.

"Venus teleported us here. She is an Oricorio from the Alolan Islands. She is in her Electric form right now." The bird cheered and waved her Pom-poms at them. "That is just great." He ran his hand through his hair.

"Where are we," Ashton demanded.

"We are on the Island of Giant Pokémon. It is an Amusement park." Green eyes narrowed at the boy.

"What if we catch pokémon here?" Ritchie pulled away from Jason.

"Well, there shouldn't be any problems. As all the attractions are robotic. Most of the native pokémon were transferred to the reserve." Jason peered at his cousin; before looking around. A sudden cry of a fearow had them looking up. Sparta was soaring toward them with several pokémon on his back and Staryu in his talons.

"Sparta." Ritchie waved his hands over his head. The fearow shrieked and slowly landed after placing staryu down. Onyx pushed through the underbrush and knocked over a tree or two. Pokémon were on his back. Jason looked at the large bird that was looking him in the eyes. The onyx was nuzzling Brock. "This is Sparta, Satoshi's Fearow." Jason nodded. "Have you seen Satoshi." Sparta's sharp eyes looked around. Giving a shake of his body making sure nobody was on him before launching into the air. Outlaw jumped on Ritchie's shoulder.

"FEAROW." Sparta shrieked out once he cleared the tree tops.

"Pidgeot." A faint cry in the distance had Sparta taking off. Everyone started to return to their poké balls.

Last night sitting in the cave taking care of the eggs, Ash watched the navy blue egg, he got from Dragonite, hatched. Now he leaned against Obsidian in the sun with a navy blue Dratini lay curled in his lap nursing on Moomoo milk. His ankle was better and so was his stomach thankfully. The fire popped as he relaxed as everyone finished their breakfast. Once everyone was finished, they started to continue their search. With him limping it would take some time to make any major progress. Pidgeot watched her trainer as he limped along with Dratini around his neck. As his fingers carded through the Pidgeot's feathers as he past by her.

Suddenly a fearow's cry rang in the distance. Pidgeot called out answering the call. Ash looked up at the sound of wings flapping. Sparta landed not to far from them. With a bright smile Ash hobbled forward and hugged his fearow. Sparta wrapped his wings around his trainer. "Did you find the others?"

"Fearow," Sparta nodded.

"Ritchie is with the Rocket duo, the trio and Jason? That is good, but were is Ace and Gabriel?" Sparta cooed and shrugged. Ash gasped as Pidgeot pushed him to Sparta's back with a chirp. "Alright, Alright. You could have just asked." He carefully climbed on Sparta's back. His arms wrapped around Sparta's neck as he buried his face into soft feathers. Pidgeot ran her beak through his hair before talking to Sparta. She lowered to let the smaller ones to get on her back. With a powerful beats of their wings they got off the ground and Sparta grabbed Obsidian's arms. Sparta grumbled a little at the laughing Graveler as he kicked his feet. They soared over the tree tops keeping a look out for any more hostile giant pokémon.

The Dratini was looking around feeling the wind flow over her face and ears. She cooed at Sparta her new older brother. He cawed back at her. Ash relaxed against Sparta as the wind flowed around him. It wasn't long before Sparta cawed at him as he looked at his trainer. Pulling himself to look over Sparta's shoulder to see Ritchie and the others. "Ritchie, Jason." He smile and waved his hand at them as the two birds slowly landed. When he slide off Sparta's back Ritchie hugged him in a bone crushing hug.

"Jason said you're Dex went dark."

"It got broken when I was saved by a magikarp." Jason hugged both of them to himself. Team Rocket's pokémon looked toward the wood for their trainer's. Screaming was heard getting closer. It wasn't long before the duo crashed into the newly made clearing. The thudding of something walking toward them was also getting closer. A loud pikachu came from the tree line as the large yellow mouse knocked down a few trees.

"Venus." Venus cried as they all gained a blue outline before they vanished. They landed in a large room with a bunch of chairs. "Welcome to the Main visitor Lobby of the Amusement park."

"Now we must do what we do best." Jessie said as she looked at James who was hugging Koffing and Meowth.

"So," the team jumped into their pose, "hand over your pokémon."

"Are you serious," Misty shirked. Jason blinked at the duo, as they did their motto.

"Meowth; that's right." The meowth, Ekans and koffing to lung forward. Venus glared at them before launching a thunderbolt that send Team Rocket flying out off the building's roof.

"Well, that was new." Ash whispered to Ritchie as he chuckled.

"How am I going to explain this damage, Venus." She cooed at her trainer with big watery eyes and her pom-poms in front of her face. "You are not in trouble, you know." She cooed again as White-lightning snickered.

"Well that was entertaining," Ace said; as he and Gabriel stepped out of a back room.

"You guys made it," Ash smiled at them.

"Yes, we did. We did get lucky and only saw a gigantic caterpie."

"We did have to bust in the door. Did you know that there is no alarm system on this island?"

"Really that is…"

"What happened? How did you even get in here? What are you even doing here? This island is not even opened yet." A woman screamed as she took in the damage. "You all will be arrested for this trespass and vandalism."

"Now hold on." Jason held up his hands as he took a step forward. So he was between her and his cousins.

"Don't tell me to hold on." She snapped as Jason rolled his eyes.

"I am Jason Ketchum, son of LT. Surge." He showed his Pokédex that had his trainer id pulled up. "The reason we are here is the S.S. Anne sunk not to far from this island."

"You have got to be kidding me." She sneered. "There were no other survivors."

"You are looking at them. I should know I was there on the S.S. Anne." She paled as she looked at the trainers and recognized them from the news. "Now, I need to make call." He left her gapping at him as the potential investors were not impressed. The woman tried to do damage control with them; as Jason called his father. Ritchie and Ash sat down in the chairs letting their pokémon surround them as they separated the pokémon balls. Obsidian's cold hands were wrapped around his ankle as he sat at his feet. They talked quietly about their separate adventure. Ace and Gabriel flopped down in front of the cousin.

"Pidgeotto evolved and gained the name Steel-Heart. She cut the head off of a giant mechanical Moltres. No hesitation when I gave the order."

"I see. She is a good partner to have. We have really good teams Happy caught me my own pidgeotto. I named him Talon. Now who is this little one?" He ran his finger under Dratini's chin.

"She is so adorable," Ace said as he leaned forward. Gabriel cooed at the Dratini.

"This is my newly hatched Dratini. She just hatched last night. I haven't come up with a good name for her yet." She whined at him. Ash chuckled at her and got out a bottle of Moomoo milk and started to feed her. Ritchie stood and made his way to the glaring duo and Brock.

"I think these belong to you." He handed the poké balls to them. "Sorry, I don't know which one belongs to whom."

"Thanks man." Brock nodded as he took them. He pulled his out quickly enough as they had the boulder badge outline engraved on the bottom, Misty's had the Cascade badge on the bottom and that left Ashton's. Ritchie and Ash started to return all their pokémon as Jason walked back toward them.

"We are good to go on the boat." The woman glared at him, but didn't say anything. "Lets go people." They started to get back on the boat. "How are you doing Satoshi?"

"Much better." Jason nodded as he helped Ash to his feet. A loud crash was heard outside. "Now what?" A loud roar was answered by another cry. Ritchie peeked trough the window to see a giant Charizard and Articuno circling one another.

"Shit." Ritchie whispered before the room rocked by an explosion. "We need to go now. Articuno and Charizard are about to level the place." They rushed to be loaded. The boat rocked as the two fought. The battle of ice and fire with the sun dropping behind the giants creating a unique sight.

They relaxed in the safety of the ship as it headed away from the clashing giants. Ash took care of his ankle as Jason talked to the captain. The sun was rising on a peaceful morning as they pulled into Porta Vista. Once they landed the survivors were led to separate rooms of the local Pokécenter. Where they met a team of Doctors and Nurse Joy. They wouldn't allow them to make phone calls until after the check ups or have visitors until they had a clean bill of health.

It took about hour before the check up was done and Ritchie to storm into Ash's room. Ritchie and Ash took a video-call from Surge, Lizzy and Chrissy. They looked so relived to see them alive and safe in a Pokécenter. After another hour for the test to come back clean and they were allowed visitors. That was when a muscular and rough looking man with scars on his arms and his right cheek walked into their room with Delia at his side. Ritchie was pulled into a hug while Ash was pulled into his mother's arms.

"Dad, I am here and safe." Ritchie said as he hugged the man back as he felt his hair getting wet.

"Thank Arceus." Delia whispered into Ash's hair.

"Mom to tight. My torso is healing after being badly bruised." She pulled back to look him over. Like she was trying to see the fading bruise under his yukata. Her finger's run over the scars on his arms. Her amber eyes locked onto his own. She gained a smile and kissed his forehead.

"I am so proud of you. You've grown so strong already."

"Well I had you as a role model." She gave a week laugh. "Mom?"

"I almost lost you." She had tears in her eyes. "You need to try to be more careful."

"I'll do my best, but somethings are out of my control."

"I know." She gave a small smile, before she turned to Ritchie and the man. "Ritchie." She hugged him as Ash hugged the man. His black and hunter green ranger uniform smelled of smoke.

"You two scared us."

"I'm sorry, Uncle Keith."

"I am glade you are ok." He gave a small rumble as he pulled back. His sharp green eyes locked onto his face. "I heard you saw a dead body."

"It was bad. She was stuck on a pipe. There was no blood and I still almost threw up." He swallowed heavily.

"Ash, there is nothing you could have done. It happened when the ship capsized. You were lucky it didn't fully fill with water."

"What caused the storm, anyway?"

"We are still trying to find out. Though we are sure it has something to do with the three legendary birds."

"Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice, and lightning, lest these titans wreak destruction upon the world on which they clash." Ritchie mumbled getting his dad to roll his eyes.

"Well the oceanic trio are notorious for their sibling squabbles. Rumor has it if one farts then a fight breaks out," Delia giggled, "but the trio here in Kanto are not like that." Keith raised his hand to stop any more talks on the subject.

"That is all I can say about it." He stepped back with a sigh, "but you have been listening to that legend to much." He pointed at Ritchie who smiled. "If you need to talk about it you can call me." Ash nodded remembering this man was often searching for lost trainers and poachers. "Ritchie call your mother, tonight."

"Dad?" Ritchie looked at the man trying to get away from his Aunt's grooming fingers.

"Have to go rejoin the search."

"Ok, be safe."

"Will do my best." Keith nodded with a grin on his face as he walked out the door. Right then he looked like Ritchie. It wasn't long after he left that another man walked. He was dressed in a green League outfit.

"Hello I am Josh a League Official assigned to this case. I have some questions for you."

"Okay." Ash was sitting on his bed with Delia brushing his hair and Ritchie was combing his hair. They were waiting for their teams return.

"So tell me, what happened from the time Team Rocket attacked." It took a little while to tell him what had happened. "I see. I am sorry you had to go through that, but I must commend you on your quick thinking and planning." He wrote down the last of their statement. "I scanned the egg cases when they were brought in and their owner's name popped up. Young man the owner was so happy to see that they survived and in good health. So he told me tell you can chose one egg." Ritchie looked excited at that. "Now on to the Pinsir you caught. You're not in trouble, but I was just letting you know; that she is now officially yours." He chuckled as Ritchie cheered. "Now back to the eggs."

"The egg I would choose is the black and blue egg."

"I'll let Nurse Joy know and get the other two back to their owner. Have a nice day." With that he left the room.

"You two should go get cleaned up. It may be a little while to wait for your teams." Delia said as her fingers combed through Ash's hair. Ritchie nodded and dashed to his room,

"Mom. I need to talk to Professor Oak." She smile at Ash.

"He isn't home right now." Ash sighed but nodded. He went to shower away all the salt and dirt from his body. After his shower he reapplied the bruise salve to his torso and ankle. Then he rewrapped his chest, arms, hands and neck with bandages. He stepped out of the bathroom dressed in blue jeans and a black t-shirt with a metallic red Charmander outline. His mom smiled as she helped him put his hair into a fishtail braid. A chansey came in pushing a cart holding his luxury balls, Honey and Outlaw.

"Thank you." Honey and Outlaw jumped onto his shoulders and nuzzled his face. "I missed you too; Honey and Outlaw." He rubbed their cheeks.

"Chansey." She waved before walking away. Ritchie rushed in with Sparky on his shoulder and his hat back on his head.

"Now." Delia clapped, "lets go get some lunch." She smiled at the excited boys as they rushed out of the room. Hoping to put their shoes on as they did. She led them to an old restaurant owned by an old man named Moe. When they arrived they saw Professor Oak, Gary and his cheerleaders standing there. Gary and the girls hugged Ash as Professor Oak sighed in relief at seeing the duo alive and well. When Ash was let go Professor Oak pulled him into a tight hug.

"You scared me. You both did."

"Grampa. I am sorry." Ash hugged him back.

"It wasn't your fault. Just try and be safer." He stepped back and ruffled Ritchie's hair, "that goes for you too."

"Um. Professor. Dexter got broken." Oak rubbed his chin and nodded.

"I'll take a look at it later, okay?" Ash nodded with a grateful smile. "Good, now lets eat."

"Ah, Samuel Oak. You here for the clean up from the crash."

"Yep. This is my grandson Gary, my honorary grandson Ash, his mother and my right hand at the lab Delia and Ritchie her nephew, and these lovely ladies are friends to my granddaughter Daisy. This is Moe an old friend of mine from my trainer days." Moe greeted them with a smile and shook their hand. Samuel sat at the head with Delia, Ash, Ritchie to his left and Gray and Rachel; Daisy's best friend; to his right. The cheerleaders filling in the rest of the table. They talked about their journeys as they eat the delicious food. Ash gave his little Dratini a few slices of berries.

When they finished it was only a little bit after lunch. They were able to see the beautiful city of Acapulco and its' inviting beach. The cheerleaders and Delia dragged Ash shopping. Leaving Ritchie with Gary and Professor Oak to visit the different stalls and stands. Picky up items that the two thought to be useful. At lunch they returned to their rooms to put away the items they bought and change so they could hit the beach. While the adults went to meet with the clean up crew and volunteers on a beach further south.

Ash, dressed in a wetsuit, was being pulled on a surfboard behind his black Magikarp, while Ritchie was being pulled by Siveth. Gary and the cheer squad where playing beach volleyball. Outlaw was surfing with Honey. Squirtle, Coral, Krabby, and Black-ice where playing in the water. Frostbite and Dratini where hanging onto his shoulders enjoying the ride. Zippo, Sparky and Happy were relaxing in the hot sand.

It wasn't long before they back on the sandy beach getting a drink of water. When they saw Ashton, Brock and Misty scream as they went by in a boat. Ash, siting on his towel, looked up at Ritchie and both shrugged. Ritchie rushed back to the water as Ash enjoyed the sun. Just when the sun started to dip below the horizon they packed their things, returned their pokémon and the rented surf boards. Before they made their way to Moe's. Ash's red yukata had a black charizard on the back. Dratini where around his shoulders with Honey and Outlaw walking beside him. Ritchie was in a green t-shirt with a sparking pikachu on the front and shorts. Sparky had Ritchie's hat on his head as he sat on Ritchie's shoulder.

When they stepped into the Diner they saw Ashton, Misty working for Moe. "Welcome." Ashton glared at them. "What are you doing here."

"Getting dinner. So what are doing here."

"That is none of your business."

"Now that is no way to talk to a customer." Moe said before turning to the two. "Oh welcome back. Sorry about that."

"It is no problem." Ash waved him off. "Can we have the same as we had for lunch."

"Sure." Moe beamed and dashed to the back. It wasn't long before a berry medley was placed in front of the pokémon and a Moomoo milk to Ash. He began to bottle feed his Dratini. Misty glared at him as she moved past them with food for another table. Only to slip and fall. Ash watched as an old woman walked in flanked by a disguised Team Rocket. They stayed silent as they listen to the woman was tormenting Moe. As they enjoyed their meal that came out just moments before someone sabotaged the kitchen.

"Moe, do you need any help?" Ash asked looked at the defeated man.

"Please. I don't want to lose my boat."

"Ash?" Ritchie said looking at the flyer he had picked up earlier. "Will this help?"

"What?" Ash leaned over to read the flyer. "Looks like fun." He smiled.

"Don't even think about it. I'll be the one winning that contest." Misty snapped as she dragged Ashton into the back. The two shrugged once again and paid their bill. As they headed to where they were setting up for the contest on the beach a man into them.

"You two, are you trainers?" The man looked at the two.

"Yes, we are." Ritchie smiled as he nodded.

"Thank Arceus." He whispered. "That is great. Do you want a temporary job?

"Doing what?" Ash looked at the man.

"Well you," he pointed to Ritchie, "will be security back stage and you will be the announcer."

"And what does being a pokémon trainer have to do with being an announcer?"

"You should be able to handle the more stubborn contestants. You will not be alone."

"OK." Ritchie said.

"Great." Ash tilted his head as they were dragged into the back dressing rooms. "A uniform for you." He tossed a t-shirt with staff written in bright red across the back and slacks at Ritchie. "You can choose from this rack." He smiled as he left.

"Why do you get to choose your outfit."

"You are in the back, while the pretty one is seen on the stage." A body builder with a Machamp standing just behind him on his right side. Both with the same staff shirt that Ritchie held. He laughed at the gapping kid as they walked out.

"Did he just imply that I'm ugly?" Ash snickered as Ritchie glared at the door then at him. "Anyway I can see that." Ritchie shrugged and changed into the clothes. Ash looked at the kimonos on the rack and changed into a black one with gold trim.

The contest went fairly smooth; with only one contestant being banned and escorted off the stage. Gary was in the crowd with Professor Oak and Delia. Most of his cheer squad were behind them and a few participated in the contest. It wasn't until Team Rocket in a gyarados submarine, which people thought was a real one, launched a few missiles. Ash and Ritchie looked at each other before calling out Twin tail. Which caused Honey and Sparky hit the sub with a twin iron tail causing it to explode. Gary had his Kadabra destroy the missiles in the air with Psychic. While Oak's Alakazam protected the crowd from the debris that Kadabra lost its' grip on.

Ash ignored the drama going on in the aftermath of the attack as he saw Brutella storm off back stage. With a mic hidden in his sleeve and Outlaw was on his shoulder. Kicking off his shoes and snuck his way the way Brutella went. Inside a back room he saw the old woman berating Team Rocket and he broadcasted her speech to the crowd. This lead to her being arrested and the fraud caused any money owed to he by Moe was nullified. She did try to attack Ash when she realized she was being broadcasted. Which caused Outlaw shock to her and send Team Rocket Flying. They had got a good pay check for the next day with a good bonus for their quick thinking.

The next day Ash was awaken to Ritchie jumping on his bed. "What?" Ash slurred before he watched Ritchie get zapped by Outlaw. Honey was with his mom other wise that would really hurt. Jason and Sparky was laughing as Ritchie just blinked for a second before slumping into a slightly twitching mess. "What is going on?"

"Take a look at this." Jason turned on the T.V as he sat on the bed.

"Ladies and gentlemen here we are, not far from were the S.S. Anne went down just a few days ago." A female reporter said into the camera. Her Brown hair was cut chin length and her Green eyes popped due to her green blouse that could be seen under the Orange life jacket. Behind her was Nurse Elizabeth Joy with a Vermillion badged band on her upper left arm and Lt. Surge stood with his arms crossed as he stared at he island that they were approaching. The ocean seemed to glow. "Behind me are Lt. Surge Ketchum the gym leader of Vermillion city and His wife Nurse Elizabeth Joy form the Vermillion City Pokécenter. Both are experts on electric pokémon. Do you want to say something to the folks at home?" Lt. Surge just focused on the island having caught a glimpse of something. Nurse Joy just waved with a smile before going back through her medical kit. "Right, we are here as there been sightings of strange electrical surges in the area since the night the S.S. Anne sunk." The island didn't look that big and was mostly flat with tall soaked grass with a few trees and several boulders on various sizes and shapes. As the boat pulled close to shore he reported spotted something large black and yellow by a tall stone.

"Is that a Zapdos?" Only to have to duck with a terrified scream as Electricity surged over the top of the rescue boat. "Magnemite get down, you crazy pokémon. If you lose that footage." There was a faint call and the camera ducked down from where it was zoomed in on the attacking Zapdos. Her head was pushed into her blue jean covered knees and her arms covered her head. Looking toward the others she gasped as she saw Lt. Surge and Nurse Joy step off the boat and onto the island. "Wait! Are they crazy?" She whispered. The man from the gym was snickering off the screen. Then she touched her ear piece. "Yes sir. I. I understand, sir." She gulped and turned to peek over the side of the boat. With a gentle push up, Magnemite went back to its original position.

On the shore Nurse Joy released her Chansey and Electivire. As Surge started to stalk forward with a determined look on his face and all the grace of a trained predator. His hands were in clear view of the Zapdos and he had no poké balls in sight. The electric bird sent another devastating Thunder attack that hit Surge in the center of his chest. The report gasped. "You have got to be kidding me." She whimpered as the electric current danced over his body and burnt the grass around him. He didn't falter in his march. "You see before you one of the 8 Titans of Kanto. Much like our dearest Sabrina of Saffron city. He has mastered his inner power. Where she is a powerful Psychic, he controls lightning." She turned toward the camera with a fake smile. Her eyes went back to watching Lt. Surge stop in front of the down bird.

The camera zoomed in to get a better look at the bird. While his feathers where ruffled in a clear sign of aggression; you could still make out some of the ones that were bend awkwardly. Its' left wing was clearly broken. Slowly Surge raised his right hand and electricity arched between his spread fingers. His eyes locked with the large legendary bird. His hand stopped half way between them. The Zapdos screeched in his face before tilting its' head. After getting no movement from the man it pushed his beak into his hand and electricity danced between the duo. Slowly a smile appeared on his face as the electric type calmed down. It felt his raw emotions and he felt Zapdos' emotions in return. His left hand came up and started to sooth the ruffled feathers.

"He calmed it down." She whispered. "What?" she watched as Surge used his left arm to motioned for Lizzy to join him. Her steps were measured and calm with the two pokémon falling into step just behind her. "I don't think that is a good idea."

"Like that would ever stop any Nurse Joy from helping any pokémon in distress. Zapdos clearly has a broken wing." The captain said with a snort. The reporter blushed slightly. She couldn't see or hear what was said but she could make out static fuzzing up Lizzy's hair and her slapping Lt. Surge on the arm as he was clearly laughing. Surge he moved his left hand to Zapdos' beak and rested his right at the base of her neck. Her jaw dropped as Nurse Joy ran her fingers through his awkward feather smoothing them out. Then she watched as the bird tensed up as Joy pulled out a heal ball. Before electricity sparked and arched around the trio and raced down Surges body burning more of the grass around him joining the slowly expanding circle of charcoal around Zapdos. "Surge is like a human lightning rod. He is pulling the electricity from Nurse Joy body so it doesn't pass through her organs." He explained at the reporter's whimper. Lizzy was talking with her hand still on the Zapdos' chest and Surge's hand on the base of her neck. What ever was said had Zapdos' beak heading toward the ball's button, only for Surge to shove his beak off course. "Did you know that you are to never use a heal ball on a pokémon with a broken bone. It will heal it as it is."

"But Nurse Joy brought it out." This set Joy into lecture mode as her hands animated as much as she could while still holding the ball.

"She is the leading Pokémon Doctor of Vermillion City. With Chansey's; a pokémon poké-doc; help they will set the bone first and then use it to make sure it heals correctly." As the electricity faded as Zapdos wilted a bit under her talking. Surge moved his hand from his wife's neck and plucked the ball from her hand and got a glare from her. She moved with chansey toward his broken wing as Surge put the heal ball into his pocket. His hand settled on the back of her neck once again. With that she Chansey had one of Electivire's tail touching her back as he held Zapdos to keep him from moving to much. As they were pushing the bones back into place Zapdos screeched and tried to fry them with his electricity as his beak was being held by Surge. It wasn't long before Joy backed up and nodded to Surge. Zapdos nodded and Surge smirked he touched the Heal ball to its' beak. They watched it get caught with no fight. Slowly the reporter stood up and dusted off her clothes before facing the camera.

"There you have it. Lt. Surge has just caught the legendary Zapdos of Kanto." She jumped as a the Loud cry cut her off. She whirled around and saw the majestic bird spark as it soared through the air. At a low swoop its' wing cut through the water where Chinchou and Lanturn absorbed the released electricity. Which brought the fact she had not noticed the deep ocean dwelling fish pokémon were swarming around the island. "What?"

"They come up during storm to absorb the lightning. Sailors use them to tell when a storm is brewing." The captain said with a small smile as he ran his hand over a Lanturn. The camera turn to see the Zapdos circle the island once more. Before it flew away.

"With that the legendary soars free once again. Back to you Carl."

"Zapdos is so cool," Ritchie said. "I want a Chinchou."

"Chinchou would be a good pokémon to have. Duel water/electric type." Ash tilted his head. "I hope Aunt Lizzy didn't burn her hands and neck."

"Mom will be fine. You don't want to know how many electrical burn she has had. Her Electivire is a handful after a bad battle and doubly so when it sees red."

The screen switched to shows a strawberry blonde with teal eyes in an orange life jacket looking half frozen in her thin baby blue long sleeve shirt. She was standing in front of a jagged ice wall with Lorelei looking around behind her. "H-h-hello. We're here on a iceberg that app-appeared out of nowhere a few d-da," just then turned around as she brock down into a sneezing fit into her elbow. She straightened back out after wiping her nose with a paper towel in her hand, "days ago. We are here with Lorelei of the Elite Four." She looked around noticing she was along. "She is the Leading ice Expert of Kanto." She marched over the ice in a way she saw Lorelei facing earlier.

It wasn't long she before she slipped and threw the microphone as she failed at stopping her fall. She screamed as she slide down the ice into the bowl like center. He hands covered her face to try to protect it from biting cold wind that rushed past her. The Magnemite cameraman following behind her. Somehow during the slide she got turn so when she stopped it was cause her back bumped into something soft, cold and wet. Jumping straight up didn't help as her tennis shoes couldn't get traction. Thankfully something grabbed the back of the life jacket before she fell again. It held her up until she could stand straight. "Thank you." She turned to see a large blue legendary bird. "Articuno." The bird chirped as it stood up. It looked like it went through a battle. Its' feathers were coated in ice, but she could make out the burns on the right side of its' chest.

With another coo the Articuno launched into the air sending powdered snow over everything. With graceful circles it flew out of the bowel; coating everything in snow. It wasn't long after the bird was gone did the a loud pop was heard. "What?" She watched as the ice started to get spider web cracks everywhere. "Hey if you can hear me get back to the boat it is going to sink." She started to look around. "Crap the warm water is eating up the ice. So Articuno was the reason it was here in first place." Then there was another crack and groaned as several ice spires collapsed. The ground quaked under her feet. Water started to pour in from the cracks and newly formed gaps.

"She is going to have to wait for it to completely flood," Ash groaned.

"Just when we are out of the ship we have to get remind of it again." Ritchie sighed as he plopped down on the bed. Jason chuckled.

"She will be fine. Just needs to stay in the center away from any over hangs. See."

The last of the ice melted away. Magnemite floated over the water as "This is so not fair. Next time Carl you can be out here." She glared at the camera as she swam through the water to the rescue boat. It was heading toward her slowly. "I swear you guys owe me." The camera cut off as she was pulled into the boat.

"Lorelei wouldn't let anything happen on her watch." Jason stood.

"Uncle Surge is going to unbearable. He caught Zapdos." Ritchie groaned as he fall backwards on the bed. Getting a glare from Outlaw.

"It will be fine. It would not look good to brag."

"In public, but at family reunions." Ritchie shuddered; causing Jason to laugh.

"So what are your planes for the day."

"We are going to explore the Safari zone here on the island. What are you doing?"

"Of that should be fun. It really isn't as popular as the safari zone near Fuchsia City. Me, I am heading back to Vermillion to help out. Some Rocket goons have been spotted north of town."

"Well, you be safe." The two looked at one another.

"Don't worry, I wont be alone." Jason gave them a glare.

"Anyway, most people come here for the sun and the surf." Ash pointed out before kicking Ritchie off the bed.

"Hey!"

"Can you please get out. I need to change so we can go."

"Fine. You didn't need to kick me off the bed though." Jason laughed as he stood up.

"Be safe, you two." Jason left the room. Once he was alone he flopped back onto he bed with a groan.

"That was odd. Two of the three Kanto bird being found so close to the time S.S. Anne sunk. Who would be stupid enough to attack the 'Storm callers' of Kanto."

"Pikachu." Outlaw shrugged. With a groan he pulled him self out of bed and into the shower.

They took a Streetcar to the north of the city and walked the short distance to the Poké Ranger station at the edge of the forest. Walking into the large stone building they signed in and paid a fee for a locker to put their backpacks and the special marked Poké balls known as Safari balls. Their pokémon were left in a special tray at the counter with Outlaw, Honey and Sparky were talking to the rangers' pokémon in a sun room. With a Ranger by their side they stepped out of the building into a well taken care of forest full of the song and cries of pokémon.

The ranger walked slightly behind them to watch as they explored. As they walked under the towering trees a green weedle dropped down and shot their faces full of silk. Ash caught the aggressive little green male weedle as he wouldn't stop trying to poison sting him. While Ritchie was laughing himself silly he spotted a red female caterpie watching also highly amused by the weedle's actions. She had caught herself after the weedle was, he called her Joy.

The ranger was highly amused as the duo made a bee line to the cave on the map they were given. The cave entrance wasn't big and grass and a tree covered the top. Roots from the tree was broken through the ceiling and framed the opening where something large had pushed through them. Thick springy moss coated the floor and walls, but thinned the further in they went. They walked through the slowly opening cave looking around at the natural formations as water rolled down sections of the walls and dripping from stalactites onto stalagmites. Ritchie yelped as he fell into an Onix hole. The ranger laughed as Ash looked over the edge.

"You alive down there?" Ash called down trying to see him through the dark.

"Of course I am alive." Ritchie looked around the dark tunnel. "Do you have any rope?"

"No, our pokémon and our backpacks are back at the ranger station."

"Oh right." Then he heard movement further down the tunnel. "um is this an old tunnel? Please say it is."

"It looks relatively fresh. Maybe a few hours old." Watching the dirt crumble under the slight pressure of his fingers.

"Oh great. I think it is still in here." His eyes caught movement in the darkness and tossed one of the poké balls. The area flashed red as he pushed his back against the side of the tunnel he fell in. He watched as the ball wobbled a few times and them stop for a moment then start again. After an eternity it clicked and shot up into his hand. "I caught it."

"Maybe you can use it to get out of there?" Ash looked at the ranger who made a note on his Dex and he nodded.

"You can now use it." The ranger said as he looked over the edge of the hole. Ritchie sagged in relief. Looking at the orange and red safari ball before tossing it.

"Go pokémon. Can you lift me up there." His eyes widen as he saw a black jade Onix was looking him in the eyes, before nodding his large head. With gentle nudging the Onix came out of the hole with Ritchie on his head. "Say hello to Cole."

"Coal?"

"No, Cole. C-o-l-e." Ash rolled his eyes at Ritchie. The ranger clicked his watch, so when Cole was returned the ball teleported to the ranger's office with his caterpie. As they moved through the next chamber they noticed the ominous silence that seemed to suffocate the area. The hairs on the back of their necks stood on end as the sound of wings flapping echoed off the rocks the further in they went. It wasn't long before they saw a Crobat swooping around dominating the area; having scared away any in the cavern.

The ranger moved forward with his styler in hand, gaining the crobat's attention. With a screech the crobat swooped at him causing him to jump to the side. He got a blue energy ring around it for a second. The ring shattered in a shower of blue sparks getting a glare from the crobat.

When it swooped again Ash and Ritchie barely ducked behind a boulder. He snickered as he swooped again at them only for another ring to wrap around him. Only for them to end up as another shower of sparks. The ranger glared as he typed in a command into his watch and Ritchie and Ash saw poké balls appeared in his hands. He tossed the two belts to the kids as he turned back to the Crobat and had to dodge roll to the side and rolled back onto his feet. The next time he got two around the crobat and it screeched as the rings shattered. Flaring its' wings in aggression.

"Wing attack," a male voice called out of nowhere. The crobat was quick to attack the ranger. He jumped back minimizing the damage, but still was rolled across the ground from the impact. The attack cut through his armored vest, his shirt and into his stomach. His hand grabbed the cut and relief mixed with the pain flowing through his veins. As it was only surface deep. Turning his head he saw the man that stepped out of the shadows.

"Oh give us a break. We are on vacation." Ash grumbled and Ritchie sighed.

"I am blaming you for this." Ash rolled his eyes at Ritchie.

"I didn't ask for them to show up."

He had a black Team Rocket uniform on and a hat that shadowed his face. Purple hair fell into his Green eyes. Yet his sinister smile was still on his face. Another Poké ball was being tossed from hand to hand. A chill went down the ranger's spin as he hit s. o. s. on his watch. "Poison fang."

The crobat gathered a purple mist in his mouth as he shot forward at the down ranger. The ranger's eyes widen as he tried to move out of the way.

"Go Snowdrop, flytrap." Snowdrop appeared in front of the ranger. Just as the crobat got in range for his attack vines shot out of Snowdrop. One wrapped around his head keeping his mouth open and around his right wing. As another vine wrapped around his body and his left wing. Leaving him to take a face full of stun spore. The crobat spasmed as the paralyzing effects took effect.

Meanwhile Ritchie called out, "Go Zippo." With some of the powder was still in the air, "flamethrower." Snowdrop released the crobat as the fire ignited the powder on his body causing twice the damage.

"Oh. You want a double battle, you got it. Go Vileplume."
