Minako's Best Chance: Breaking the Love Spell
The Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium, located in the Aoyama district of Tokyo.
There is no game tonight, but a concert, one run by an evil ghost.
One that the heroes had to take down and fast.
"Any word on if Mako-chan and Danny-kun are on their way?" Minako asks.
Before anyone could answer, Rei noticed the two approaching, with the tallest having both her arms around her beloved's chest despite how much taller she was and how they were walking.
"They're here…" Rei said, looking slightly bewildered as she pointed ahead.
''Lita... please..." Danny pleaded as she still had her arms around him.
"Let's hold hands, Danny-kun!" Makoto suggests.
"Hard to do when you're wrapped around me like a snake." Danny points out.
"It's getting worse…" Ami says to the others.
"We better do something and fast." Usagi said.
"Before Mako decides to do hanky-panky stuff with him." Minako adds.
While Danny was trying to resist Makoto's affections, the rest of the Sailor Guardians rolled their eyes at her.
"Minako." Ami chided.
"I sincerely hope you weren't thinking of anything like that with him during the time you didn't know both Dannys were one and the same." Rei said in a scolding voice.
Minako blushed and chuckled nervously.
''Of course not..." She said while her eyes darted away. "Mostly..." She quietly added.
Artemis, meanwhile, covered his face in shame.
"The things she mutters in her sleep…" He himself muttered in regret for hearing them.
Soon enough, Danny and Makoto arrived and the ghost boy tried to dislodge himself from her as he spoke the plan.
"We'll have to sneak in." Danny said, trying to use his arms, but his tall girlfriend clung tightly to him. "Uh… I need my arms to help us get in."
"Okay…" She loosened her grip to let him out. "Please hurry…"
Inside
They were now inside and Makoto, still under the spell, turned to her boyfriend eagerly.
"I'll get us some seats!" Makoto offered.
The tall girl soon went to find some, while her friends sent her a curious look.
"Doesn't she know we're not actually here to watch?" Ami asks.
"She's thinks we're here for a concert." Danny explains.
The girls sent him a look.
"Really?" Usagi asked.
"It was the only way to get her to come with me..." He insisted while the girls sighed and decided to get to business.
"So, what does this Ember look like, exactly?" Rei asks.
"Like a KISS fangirl." Danny explained. "She also has flaming blue hair that gets bigger when people cheer for her..."He added.
"So, an evil girl ghost? How old is she, exactly?" Minako asks.
"Like…. I guess 15-17 region? Why?" Danny asks.
"So, is she like a villain you have a thing for? Like Batman and Catwoman?" Minako asks.
Everyone sent her disapproving looks for asking such a thing.
"No…" Danny said flatly.
"Really? You don't like her like that?" Minako asks, her smile not leaving.
"I admit she's attractive… but even ignoring I have a girlfriend, she's way too eager for world domination for my tastes." Danny admits.
"Really? That's the only turn off?" Minako asks.
"Now is not the time. We have to stop her and save Mako from being unhealthily attached to him!" Usagi chided.
Minako made a face and nodded.
"I know that…"
What a strange time when Usagi of people remembers our priorities. Rei thinks.
Before they could do anything else, something happened.
Smoke appeared on stage as she made her entrance.
"Hello, Japan!" Ember called out as the crowd cheered.
"That's her!" Danny said, pointing away.
"That's Ember? What an atrocious outfit…" Rei said.
"Really? I kinda like it." Minako admits.
"The boots are kinda creepy looking…" Usagi said with a shudder.
"What an interesting choice of blue her hair is. Is it dyed? Hmm… probably not, since it's on fire." Ami went before looking at the evil rocker more inquisitively. "Although I think the asymmetry of her outfit does have an interesting-"
"Uh… girls?" Danny spoke to get their attention. "Not the time." He saw her hands reach her guitar. "Cover your ears!"
As they all did as ordered, Ember started playing.
With each strike of her guitar, Ember's spell grew. Crowds were cheering now, growing louder with each passing second.
This included people Danny has unwittingly attracted.
One side of a crowd was the Light Music Club.
"She's so brave to stand up there in an outfit lit that… Maybe Danny would see me." Mio said under her breath.
"Ember Ember Ember!" Yui went cheerfully.
"What a beautiful young woman." Mugi said with an oddly fond smile on her face.
Another crowd had the Hero Club.
"If I dressed like her, Danny Phantom would definitely keep his eyes on me!" Fu said with a big grin.
"I'm sure he got enough from the bikini you wore." Karin snarked before continuing to cheer.
As that went on, the Sailor Guardians huddled closer.
"What kind of music is this?" Usagi asks.
"Rock and Roll? Or is It Death Metal?" Minako questioned.
"It's so loud and obnoxious!" Rei complained.
"Really? I find it rather unique in a retro way, kinda like the classic albums from Shag Carpeting." Ami admits, noticing eyes were on her. She blushed in embarrassment. "I may have asked Ben to send me a link to Shag Carpeting songs…"
"Songs about carpeting?" Usagi asks.
"No, that's a band his grandfather listens to." Ami answers.
"Girls, not the time!" Luna shouts to them.
The girls got curious as they noticed the cats weren't covering their ears.
"Wait, Luna? Why aren't you two covering your ears?" Usagi asks.
"I don't think it works on us since we're not human." Artemis suggests.
"That's good. Now come on. The sooner we stop this, the sooner we free Mako and the others." Luna states.
They all nodded as Danny was about to go, but found himself lifted off his feet as Makoto hugged him like a teddy bear.
"This is the best date ever!" She went.
Danny made a face of regret.
"I so wish that face was made under a different context…" He complained.
She then took him by the hand and spun him around.
"This would be so much cuter if it weren't for that love spell…" Usagi commented.
"It looks like Danny's not going to be able to help out if Mako's like this. We'll have to go at it without him." Luna said.
''Looks like it..." Ami said.
"Danny, we'll try and get that guitar gizmo. You stay with her." Usagi says before they started going.
"I have very little choice right now…" Danny brought up as Mako squeezed him tighter, almost crushing him. "I so wish this were for different reasons…" He muttered.
5 Minutes Later
"Thank you!" Ember said as she used the smoke as a cover going intangible down the stage and taking a breath. "Heh… this place has so many humans it makes Amity Park look like fast food." Her stomach grumbled. "And speaking of food…"
She walked to her table and saw her tray of sushi. As she took some, the door slammed open.
"Hold it right there!" A voice she hadn't heard before said. "How dare you use music to to take control over others minds! And turn a pure love into a corruptive obsession! That is unforgivable! In the name of the moon, we'll punish you!"
Ember, as she swallowed, noticed four girls in short skirts, all of them at her door and readying for battle.
"Dipstick got more girlfriends out here?" She asks, recognizing their outfits weren't that different from Sailor Jupiter's.
"If you mean Danny, you're gonna pay for putting our friend under that spell and perverting her love for him!" Sailor Moon declared.
"Burning Mandala!"
"Venus Love-Me Chain!"
Ember struck her guitar and sent a soundwave that hit both attacks, creating a small explosion that pushed all back. Ember slid back on her feet before straightening and grinning.
"Okay… not the kind of remission I was hoping for… but I suppose this'll do!"
Ember struck her guitar again, creating a green fist.
"Bubble Spray!"
Sailor Mercury created a cover for them, as the mist made it impossible for Ember to see them as the fist hit nothing.
"Where'd you punks go?! Don't tell me you're too weak to rock out?" Ember questioned.
"Crescent Beam!"
A blast hit Ember from behind.
"ACK! Watch it, Blondie!" Ember shouted.
"Evil spirit, be exorcised!" Sailor Mars was heard shouting.
A paper talisman hit Ember on the forehead.
"You stupid?! All I gotta do is-" Ember attempted to move, but found onler her face was still under control as she remained stiff like a statue. "What?!"
"That should hold you for a while." Mars said as she took the guitar out of her hands. "Now… let's see if we can find some settings to undo what you did."
As the Sailor Guardians leave, Moon and Venus sticking their tongues at her while pulling the lower portion of their eyelid down to show some interior before leaving, Ember grunted.
"Oh, come on!"
Meanwhile
Everyone was oblivious to what has happened to Ember as crowds called out to her.
"EMBER! EMBER! EMBER!"
The group remained in a security office as they observed the guitar.
"Okay… how do we do this?" Mercury asks.
"Not so sure." Danny said as Makoto hugged him from behind.
"But you've seen this thing numerous times." Mars points out.
"Just because I fight this psycho rocker, doesn't mean I know everything there is to know about her guitar." Danny points out.
"Point..." She admitted.
"Well… at least Rei's talisman is keeping her away for now." Moon said.
Danny's ghost sense went off.
"Don't be too sure…"
The door was then kicked open and in came Ember, who blasted at the floor near everyone and knocked them away.
"How'd you get my talisman off?!" Mars asks.
"Security guard took it off for me." Ember stated plainly.
"How'd they find you? The door was closed." Mercury questioned.
"No it wasn't." Ember answered flatly.
"Wait… did any of you lock the door?" Danny asks.
All four girls had sheepish and embarrassed looks on their faces.
"Venus and I were the last to leave. But, she was right behind me…" Moon said before all of the non-hypnotized guardians turned their heads towards her.
"Did you even lock the door?" Mars asks.
"Heheheh… I guess not." Venus said.
"Yeah… s'cuse me." Ember said, taking her guitar. "Ciao babies!"
Everyone sent the blonde girl a dirty look while she gulped.
"Uh...well...I guess I forgot..." Venus said.
Ember was on her way back to the stage as the crowd cheered.
"My fans… they love me." She said with a sinister grin.
"Ember! Ember! Ember!" The crowd cheered as she was on her way back on stage.
A rose got in her way as she reaches the stage, piercing through the floor.
"What the-?!"
Standing above one of the stadium lights is someone dressed in a suit, top hat and mask.
"Sinister Singer. You dare to to come here and turn the beauty of music into a weapon of malevolence? That is unforgivable! Return to whatever place of evil you call home before you face my wrath!"
Ember scoffed.
"Another one? At least this one's more handsome… not so handsome I won't cause any fractures to his skull."
Ember struck a chord on her guitar and fired a blast shaped like a fist. Thinking fast and being agile, Tuxedo Mask steps off the light, narrowly avoiding the attack. He did some flips in the air as his legs buckled upon landing.
"Another one of Phantom's foes, eh? As if we don't have our own messes to deal with on this side of the Pacific." Tuxedo Mask mutters.
He continued to fight the evil ghost while the Sailor Guardians saw from a distance as they were racing to join.
"Tuxedo Mask?!" Sailor Moon called out.
"We better aid him." Mercury says.
"What about Danny? And Mako?" Mars asks.
''I know they need help but so does Mamo..." Moon said, worried for her love.
Venus had one idea.
"I'll keep an eye on them! Go! Stop that evil Rockstar!" She said.
Her friends sent her a look.
"You're not planning on something… are you?" Mars asks suspiciously.
"Now's not the time! Go!" Venus shouts again.
The girls would do that, but they were unsure.
"What do we do to stop her?" Moon asks.
"Maybe we could try knocking her out?" Mars suggested.
"Mercury? Ideas?" Moon asks.
Sailor Mercury used her earrings to form the goggles she used to scan the area, and Ember, for information to figure out what to do.
"Perhaps if we attack her from all angles, that may work?" She suggests.
Before the girls could figure out what to do, someone tugged on Sailor Moon's skirt.
"Hey! You were leaving me behind!"
"ChibiUsa?! What are you doing here?! I told you to wait at home!" Moon shouts.
"You're not the boss of me!" ChibiUsa complained.
Their arguments became too loud now to draw attention as Ember noticed the girls.
"You all didn't pay for this! So get lost!" Ember shouts before pointing to the Sailor Guardians. "Those girls are here to ruin the concert! Get rid of them!"
Hearing that, the crowds got out of their seats and started to make their way to attack the Sailor Guardians.
"Uh oh…" Moon went as they were about to be overwhelmed.
Meanwhile
The battle continued and Danny wanted to help but was preoccupied to say the least.
"Just a sec… I'm goin' ghost!"
He morphed and was about to go, but Makoto grabbed him by the arm and pulled him in.
"Stay! With me?" She begged like a child.
"Please, Lita! We have to stop her! Now!" Danny said.
"I won't leave you or let you go, Danny-kun!" She insists.
"Just forget about me for a few minutes!" He asks.
"I can't! I don't want to!" She insists more.
Was I seriously like this when I was under the spell? Danny thought, hating this.
Venus soon arrived and tried to think of a way to snap her lovesick friend out of her current state.
Here goes my idea.
"Oh… uh… Mako! Didn't you know? Danny and I… have been seeing each other behind your back!" Venus lies.
''Excuse me?" Makoto asked, her smile dropping a bit.
Realizing what she's doing, Danny made an uncomfortable face before taking a breath.
"Yes… Mina and I… were s- just talking… is all." Danny went.
"Oh… about what?" Makoto asks.
Venus tried to think fast and thought about something.
"About dinner."
"Where to take you to dinner." Danny said nervously, knowing he's shooting himself in the foot here.
"Aww, really?~" Makoto gushed.
Venus sent him a disbelieving look.
"Yup." He went.
"What are you doing?" Venus asks in a whisper.
"Sorry… I can't do it." He said.
He found himself trapped in her arms again and she was just as lovesick as ever.
"My Danny-kun is the best boyfriend ever!" Makoto gushed as she hugged him tightly.
Seeing that Makoto won't budge and they need her help, coupled with Danny's refusal to lie and say he doesn't love her even if to help her, Sailor Venus decided one thing.
"I'm very sorry to do this…" She said, approaching Danny.
"What do you mean?" He asks before she reaches for his shirt collar.
Pulling him in, she whispered to him.
"Put your hands on me. Shoulders, waist, anywhere that won't earn a slap in the face."
"Huh?" He asks.
"Just do it." She insists.
Reluctantly, Danny did so.
"Now wh-"
"Mako! Look!" Venus said before she did it.
In that instant, she puckered up and pulled him close before he could ask.
She kissed him, on the lips, in plain view of her best friend, his girlfriend.
"DANNY-KUN!" She shouted in a high-pitched voice.
Danny attempted to phased out of her grasp, but her eyes opened a bit and darted to the shocked Makoto.
He realizes what she was doing. However, he was too frozen to try and stop her.
She's tricking Lita into thinking I'm willingly kissing her… He thought.
With that, he forced himself to keep his hands on Venus, completing the image.
Meanwhile, Venus felt her heart momentarily flutter before mentally reminding herself not to go to far.
It's for Mako… it's for Mako… She thought, bittersweet about this.
With an enraged snarl, Makoto raced to them, pushing Danny aside as she grabbed Venus by the shoulders and shook her.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?! HOW DARE YOU STEAL MY LOVE!" She screeched.
"Mako…" Venus said.
"Don't give me excuses! I should pummel you for this!" She rose a fist.
"Lita! Stop!" Danny called out, getting her attention.
"D-Danny-kun? You and my best friend? But we were-"
"We are… but you aren't you right now! She did to break the spell."
"Spell? What spell?! I was-" Suddenly, her rage disappeared as she started to remember what happened. "Wait… was I… was I under a spell?" She asks.
Everyone nods.
It took her a moment to remember all the things she had been doing the entire day since Ember's attack.
The constant making out that nearly suffocated Danny.
The dressing in revealing swimsuits to seduce him.
The refusal to let him go and talks of marriage and having kids.
The shock of this caused her to let go of Venus and cover her face as she nearly broke down in tears.
"What have I done?" She asked, sobbing a moment.
Venus wanted to console her, but Danny got to her first.
"Just so you know, this doesn't change how I feel about you. I love you, the REAL you." He said.
Though it momentarily made her smile, she looked up to see Ember's concert still going on, with that same evil rockstar playing while the crowd attacking her friends.
Makoto's snarling expression returned.
"Ember…" She growled.
This scared everyone else.
"Mako? You okay?" Sailor Venus asked.
"No. I sexually harassed my boyfriend, almost assaulted my friend, and now I feel like my heart's been stabbed… but at least I know who to take it out on!" She pulled out her pen. "Jupiter Power… Make Up!"
The hypnotized crowds tried grabbing the Sailor Guardians, forcing each of them to to jump out of the way.
"This is not the kind of attention I ever wanted from boys!" Moon called out.
"Hey! Watch the hair!" Mars shouted from a boy trying to grab her.
"Ben's family may have called for him a lot sooner than expected…" Mercury groaned.
The cats, meanwhile, were on the floor, trying to evade capture by running between people's legs, all the while trying to keep an eye on the Guardians.
"Too many people…" Artemis groaned.
''We have to do something!" Luna said as they tried to form a plan to stop Ember.
"ChibiUsa! Take my hand!" Moon went, reaching out for her.
Spotting the two together, someone saw a chance to finish them.
"Finally…" Ember said with a grin as she struck her guitar and sent a blast in their direction.
"OH NO!" They screamed.
"Sailor Moon! ChibiUsa!" Tuxedo Mask called out.
His attempt to save them is futile as it reaches them before he could.
A small explosion hits, leaving a crater with smoke coming out.
"Sailor Moon!" Mercury and Mars went in shock.
Tuxedo Mask was left in shock.
Usako… ChibiUsa… He thought in shock as he got on his knees.
He felt tears forming in his eyes as he thought them gone.
The shock was gone as soon as he heard their voices.
"Thanks, Danny!" Moon went.
"Yeah…" ChibiUsa went.
Turning his head, Tuxedo Mask saw Danny Phantom letting the two down. The ghost boy smiled as he gave them a thumb's up.
"Glad to help out." He said.
Sailor Moon smiled thankfully while ChibiUsa had a small blush as she lowered her face and hid behind Luna-P.
Tuxedo Mask just stared now.
"He saved them…" Tuxedo Mask said in a whisper, relieved.
Ember saw this and rolled her eyes before smirking.
"Aw, I guess you got tired of the lovestruck giant, Baby Pop ." Ember said.
Before she could strike a chord, two people made themselves present.
"Sparkling Wide Pressure!"
"Crescent Beam Shower!"
Hearing where those shouts came from, Ember barely dodged the attacks as they both came close to hitting her.
"What?!" Ember snapped in anger.
She became aware of two other Sailor Guardians. The tallest of them looked at her with intent to do bodily harm.
"I have a lot of pent up anger… directed at you!" Sailor Jupiter declared.
"YOU?! How'd you break the spell?!" Ember questioned.
"She didn't! I did!" Venus declared before looking shameful. "I may have… had to kiss him…" She admits nervously.
Moon, Mercury and Mars stared slack jawed.
"YOU KISSED HIM?! AND YOU'RE STILL IN ONE PIECE?!"
"Oh… believe me… I don't blame her…" Jupiter said before pointing at Ember. "I blame you!"
"Another girl kissed him?!" Ember asks before directing her eyes at Danny. "When the heck did you get popular with women anyway?! I've tried to destroy you like a dozen times and even I'm kinda into you now!"
"That's a fair question…" Danny admits.
"Here's another one! Can you last long enough against a whole crowd of people?! GET RID OF 'EM!" Ember shouted her order.
The heroes gasped as the crowds of people surrounded them.
''This isn't good..." Moon said, stating the obvious.
"Any chance you wanna do some idol singing?" Jupiter asks lightly.
"Pretty sure I won't get the chance to." Venus responds.
The heroes defended themselves as the angry, brainwashed crowds got closer.
"Any ideas?" Mars asks.
"We'll have to either break the spell or get her to leave." Danny said.
"Do you have that… juice thing with you?" Tuxedo Mask asks, avoiding someone trying to swipe his mask.
"I do, but I need to get close to use it." Danny said.
"Like I'll give you a chance." Ember said before her ponytail created a fire that spun around her and allowed her to disappear.
Danny flew towards her, but she disappeared before
''Darn it!" Danny shouted.
"She's gone… but why are they still like this?!" Moon asks as she pulled her leg out of one man's grasp.
"She must still be around if her control on them isn't fading away." Tuxedo Mask reasons.
Things got worse as they began to recognize some of the brainwash victims now.
"Mom? Dad?" Moon asks in a whisper.
"Ember!" They went in unison.
''Ember...Ember..." Her mother said in a brainwashed way as she approached with hands ready for grabbing.
"Ember… Ember…" Shingo went as he tried to tackle Sailor Moon.
Thinking fast, Moon jumped over him, her foot lightly hitting the top of his head and making him wince in pain.
"I can't even enjoy that…" She muttered.
Things got worse as the crowds got wilder and the heroes stepped back, trying to figure out what to do without causing serious harm.
''Back off..." Makoto said as she dodged a civilian's attempt at a punch.
"Hey! Pervert!" Venus sent, stepping on the hand of the man who grabbed her by the ankle.
"Oh my, I hope this isn't how most rock concerts actually go..." Ami said as she dodged a teenage girl who tried to grab her arm.
"Must obey Ember!" Umino went.
"Must obey Ember!" Naru went.
"Oh no… not Umino and Naru too!" Moon went.
The two were about to attack, but Danny flew in and put a hand on her shoulder, turning her intangible just for a moment to save her.
"Friends of yours?" Danny asks.
"Classmates." She explained.
''We gotta-" He was then cut off.
Danny felt two pairs of hands grab his wrists.
"I have him!" Fu went.
"No, I have him!" Mio went.
Both girls glared angrily as they went tug of war with Danny's arms.
"Uh... why do I have the feeling that this isn't about Ember's spell on them?" Danny asks.
Jupiter stepped in and pulled both girls away.
"Even when brainwashed to destroy him, they're fighting over him…" She mutters in mild amusement.
''What?" Danny asked, clueless.
"Never mind, back to this." Jupiter tells him.
"Her power's too strong, and her hold on these people isn't stopping! We need to do something!" Sailor Mercury said.
"Ideas?!" Tuxedo Mask asks as the controlled crowd surrounded them.
Danny pondered.
If only Tucker was here. He'd sing to… wait a minute. I know someone else. Danny thought before a smile came to him, as he knew another that could suffice.
"Mercury, I have a plan. Can you make a mist to cover me?" He asks.
"Of course… Mercury Aqua Mist!"
With the mist covering the area, the Guardians and Danny Phantom were blocked from sight.
Ember, who was in the announcer's booth, frowned and pointed to where they were standing.
"Don't let them get away!" She ordered her hypnotized crowd.
Her minions did as they were told, beginning their search to find them.
Danny and the Sailor Guards managed to hide by the stage and were discussing the next step.
"Okay… where's the sound system?" Danny asks.
"Is that it?" Moon asks, pointing to a machine.
Danny flew to the equipment and started turning it on. He grabbed the microphone.
"Okay… just one last thing." Danny said.
"Are you gonna need a beautiful singing voice? Because I'm more than happy to offer!" Venus went, much to everyone else's ire.
Not the time… They all thought.
"Don't make me regret not taking my anger out on you for kissing my boyfriend…" Jupiter muttered angrily, earning a nervous chuckle from Venus.
"Artemis, sing!" Danny lowered to mic to the white cat.
"Huh?" The male cat went.
"Singing?! That's your plan? If you want, I could do that!" Sailor Mars went.
"No! Let me!" Venus went enthusiastically.
"Actually… for this plan to work, I need the most harmonious and angelic voice I can find." Danny said, greatly emphasizing those words to let them know he's lying to Artemis.
As they started to get the idea, Artemis beamed with joy.
"Alright! Let me do it!"
"Here you go." Danny said, bringing the mic closer.
Artemis took a breath as everyone else covered their ears.
"Em-buh! You will rem-Em-buh! Em-buh! One thing REE-may-uns! Em-buh! So WAHM and TENDUH! You will rem-EM-buh MA NA-YUM!"
The Sailor Guardians cringed at the sounds of his singing. They all covered their ears. They felt as though in pain as they tried to block out the awful noise.
"This is somehow making me wish the crowd was tearing us apart…" Jupiter groans.
"Hey… look!" Sailor Moon went.
All of them looked up, seeing the crowd wasn't as hostile as before. If anything, they looked lost and dazed, along with pained from Artemis singing.
"Oh, what was that awful noise?" Mugi asked, hissing a bit from the pain the singing was causing.
"What are we doing here?" Mio was heard calling out.
"And why are we all the way out here?!" Ritsu asks.
''What happened? "Itsuki said, confused.
"Itsuki? Why are we here?" Fu asks.
"And what's making that horrible sound?" Karin went.
Ember gasped in horror.
"No…" Her fiery ponytail gone. "No, not again!"
Danny smirked, glad that it's working.
"Okay, cat dude… you can stop now." Danny said.
Artemis stopped, taking a deep breath and smiling.
"Let's hope my angelic voice liberated them." He said. He was nearly hit by an ecto blast by a very angry ghost diva. "GAHHHH!" Artemis went, jumping into the air and onto Danny's head.
"YOU SUCK!" Ember shouted angrily from above as he fiery ponytail briefly returned. "I GOT ENOUGH LEFT IN ME FOR THIS!"
The crowds saw this and panicked.
"A FLYING MONSTER!" Mr. Tsukino was heard screaming at what was above.
"RUN!" Mrs. Tsukino shouted.
Those who were once hypnotized left the area to get away from the danger, leaving the place deserted as quickly as possible, except for the heroes and villains.
"At least we won't have risks of civilian casualties." Tuxedo Mask says.
"Alright, let's-" Moon was cut off when Jupiter stepped up.
"Allow me!" She went.
Ember flew in, ready to use her guitar to club her.
"Stupid giant!"
That gave Jupiter another reason to not hold back.
"Supreme… Thunder… DRAGON!"
She fired a large electrical attack, one in the shape of an Eastern Dragon, that "ate" Ember before a loud explosion sent the ghost diva into second floor row of seats, making quite the impact.
''Ouch..." The still smoldering Ember said, feeling the pain.
As Ember laid still, twitching from the electrical attack, Danny aimed his Thermos at her.
"Looks like your Japan tour has come to a close!" He said.
He aimed the Thermos, pressed the button and fired.
With one last cry of anger, Ember found herself trapped inside.
She was sucked inside, unaware someone was watching from a distance.
"I knew that blue haired beast wouldn't have been able to finish them. No matter… let's see if the prince's plan works…" Esmeraude went before disappearing.
"THIS ISN'T OVER!" Ember's voice echoed within the thermos before it was sealed, while Danny smirked.
Once it was all clear, the Guardians and Danny were free to talk as Jupiter approached.
"I know I was… under a spell but… I'm sorry."
"Apology accepted. I never blamed you." Danny said.
She turned pink from that.
"Okay." She said before her head bent downward.
"Uh… you know, you've been doing that to me so much today…" He said. As she pouted, regretting what she did more, Danny sighed and smiled. "Ah, what the heck? I never said I hated it."
With that, the two happily share another kiss.
As everyone else was relieved, Venus stepped closer.
"Um… Mako? I-"
"Water under the bridge." Jupiter answered with a calm smile.
Venus let out a breath, feeling relieved.
"Just know, I would never do that to Danny unless someone's life depended on it. I would never betray your trust like that." Venus said, looking saddened that her desire to kiss Danny Phantom didn't go as she hoped but felt accepting. "I can only hope I meet someone as wonderful as you Danny, and we'd have what you and Mako have."
"Sure Mina. I'm positive about that." Danny said.
"I could always meet someone when I become an idol singer, but I'm hoping you have connections. So, since Ami is the one he likes, got any other hero friends besides Ben?" She asks playfully.
Everyone laughed it off. That's when Luna remembered something.
"Speaking of singing… why did you ask Artemis to sing earlier?"
"Oh, that's easy… he's terrible." Danny answered flatly now that the crisis was over.
Artemis immediately took offense.
"What?!"
"Last time this happened, I needed someone to sing Ember's song in a way so bad that they'd stop liking it." Danny answered.
Artemis turned red with rage.
"Wow, Artemis. Your singing is so bad, even evil ghost magic is no match for it…" Venus joked as everyone laughed.
"Hold on! You said you needed a harmonious and angelic voice!" He pointed out.
"I lied. Come on, if I told you the truth, there's no way you'd sing an ear-splitting cover." Danny went.
"I'LL SHOW YOU EAR-SPLITTING!" Artemis leaped at Danny with claws bared, but Danny turned intangible, making Artemis land face first on the floor. "Hey!" Danny hovered upwards, out of Artemis' reach as the cat swung his claws in the air. "GET DOWN HERE!"
As this went on, everyone else laughed at his annoyance.
