A dark turn in the end of the movie (character death)

Anya's friend from the orphanage, Sellah Rosenberg, accompanies her on a "Journey to the Past" with two con men who believe that Anya is the lost Grand Duchess Anastasia. When it is revealed that Anya really is Anastasia, Sellah, who is Jewish, worries that her 10-year friendship with her will end, because the Russian royals despised Jews.

Three girls join an orphan named Anya and they met a dreamer named Dimitri and they're teaming up to find a clue to Anya's past before the evil Rasputin destroys their future. Not only that, but he will also destroy one of them. Can they stop Rasputin from harming their friend?

When the Bolsheviks overturned the Romanovs, rumors spread that the Czar and his family were dead. But we all know how unreliable rumors can be... so when St. Peterburg began to buzz anew with the rumor that Anastasia survived, no one knew what to believe
