A couple of hours later Zarbons eyes flickered open again, he was feeling much better until he moved slightly and a searing pain shot from his ass up to his back, he grimaced as he hissed in pain.

''Z? Are you ok? Do you need medical?'' asked Dodoria looking at him concerned.

The pain across Zarbon's face was still evident as he repositioned himself ''I'm fine, just a bit sore… we need to have a serious talk about what the hell just happened though.''

Dodoria nodded gloomily, sure he was about to loose the boyfriend he'd spent so long trying to get.

''I'll tell you what, get me something strong to drink and some oxycodone first, then we'll talk.''

Dodoria shuffled off and returned a few moments later with two pills and a martini, passing them over then sitting down rather apprehensively back on the bed. He watched as Zarbon downed the pills along with half the alcohol then laid back against the pillows sighing.

''So… what exactly is effecting you?'' he asked closing his eyes.

Dodoria shuffled ''A few things I guess, although I admit it's mostly my perception of things and not anything you've done. It's my damn temper…''

''So what is it that's making you angry?''

''Just knowing you've been with so many other men, everywhere I go there's someone who's seen you naked and at your best, I know it was way before me, before us, but it still makes me so jealous.''

Zarbon nodded ''You know there's nothing I can do to rewind the past? And even if I could, I wouldn't, it's my past not yours. I was living how I wanted to live at the time, same as I'm living how I want to live now.'' They sat in silence for a while before Zarbon sighed softly ''Do you want to leave me? If you can't take me for who I am, then this isn't going to work.''

Dodoria looked at him shocked and immediately reached out taking his chin delicately in his large hand ''No, I never want to loose you, I just need to find a way to work through my… insecurities.''

Silence engulfed them again, Zarbon gazed at the bed and bit his bottom lip gently ''There is something different about our relationship from all my other relationships…'' as he paused Dodoria looked over at him before taking a deep breath and continuing. ''In the past, my relationships have always been for fun… I never loved any of them. I've never been in love, until you, Dodo. I love you.''

Dodoria's eyes grew wide as Zarbon confessed the extent of his feelings for him. Zarbon took Dodoria's hand and held it in his nervously. Dodoria blinked a few times in a daze before gently squeezing the light green hand back. ''You… you love me?''

Zarbon smiled sweetly and met the others gaze ''Yes, I do. You're all I want. I'm sorry it's taken me so many years to see what's been right in front of me… I've not scared you, have I?''

Dodoria gasped like a fish out of water ''No… no! I just didn't expect it… I don't think I would have ever expected it, Z.''

Zarbon, thankful that the pain killers had now kicked in, shuffled over to Dodoria pulling him down into the pillows so he could snuggle up in his arms resting his head against the wide pink chest. ''…But Dodo? Ever do what you did tonight again, and I'll transform and rip your fucking head off. Do you understand?'' Dodoria sweat dripped and nodded, thankful he'd been forgiven and certain he'd never loose control like that again.

Knowing he was the only one to ever reach inside the cold general's heart gave Dodoria a new found confidence, and since Frieza now knew about their relationship Zarbon said he saw no reason to keep it hidden anymore, making Dodoria beam at being able to show him off.

The two men had just clocked off shift and were walking down the corridors together, Zarbon had his arms wrapped around a pile of folders holding them tightly to his chest whilst Dodoria had his arm loosely around the others waist. A few foot soldiers gave a baffled glance at seeing the tall, lean beauty with the short, fat brute, but none dared say anything.

Once they arrived at Zarbon's room he dropped all the folders heavily onto the desk before flopping onto his oversized bed. Dodoria sat down next to him and pulled the others legs towards him pulling off his brown shoes and massaging his feet. ''Hard day?''

Zarbon smiled and relaxed ''Not so much hard, just busy. I'm so glad we're landing soon, I'm so desperate to be off this ship for a bit…''

Dodoria nodded understandingly ''I know it's been a while. Did you feel ok to still go out tonight or did you want to rest instead?''

Zarbon shook his head ''No, I think I'll go mad if I don't get out. What did you want to do anyway?''

Dodoria shrugged ''Don't mind. There are nice beaches here aren't there? How about we grab a bite to eat then head to the sea?''

Zarbon smiled and nodded ''That sounds wonderful. We've got about an hour before we land so I'll try and get a couple of those folders done and out of the way. Shall I meet you at the bridge at around 1400?''

''Sounds like a plan''

''Super, I'll see you soon then Dodo, love you''

''And I love you too, don't work too hard'' Dodoria said as he placed a quick kiss on Zarbon's lips as he turned to leave. Zarbon couldn't hold in his beaming smile and fluttering heart as he watched the large pink man exit the room.

After they'd dined Zarbon and Dodoria sat in the sun on the soft yellow sand of the beach. Zarbon's body shone with droplets of water which shone like diamonds from where he'd been swimming in the crystal clear water.

''I do like this planet…'' hummed Zarbon closing his eyes and soaking up the sun.

Dodoria looked over at his partner, the wet droplets beading on his ripped muscular chest ''Yeah… I've got to admit this is one hell of a view…''

Zarbon opened an eye and saw Dodoria leering at him, with a smirk he gave the other a playful nudge ''Knock it off.''

The two men laid together relaxing, no sound present but the gentle waves lapping the shore.

''I keep forgetting'' started Dodoria ''I bumped into Jeice yesterday in the cafeteria, he asked me if you'd 'done it' yet, what was he on about?''

Zarbon smiled at the sneaky red man, remembering how all those months ago Jeice had bumped into him in the cafeteria and set in motion Dodoria admitting he wanted to ask him out.

Zarbon opened his eyes and looked at his comrade and lover. ''I've been meaning to ask you something. I happened to mention it to Jeice a few weeks ago and he seemed very keen on the idea…''

''Well, what was it?'' asked Dodoria impatiently. Zarbon smiled at him, so happy he was over his horrid jealous spike.

Zarbon sat up and gazed down lovingly at the other man. Dodoria sat up puzzled when he spotted the blue blush spreading across his boyfriends high cheek bones, before he could open his mouth to say anything else Zarbon took his hands in his and held them tightly.

''Dodoria… I never dreamed I could feel this way about someone. I love every second I spend with you, even if it's just falling asleep in your arms or having to stand in the same room as you during a meeting. I never want to be without these feelings, or without you. I was hoping… that maybe you'd… perhaps… consider getting engaged to me?''

Once again Dodoria was left with his jaw on the floor, staring in disbelief at the perfect man who wanted to be his. ''R… really?'' stuttered out Dodoria.

Zarbon nodded shyly, almost afraid of what Dodoria's reaction would be to such a question, considering how badly he first reacted when Zarbon asked if he was in love with him.

Dodoria managed to snap his mouth shut before his heart leaped out of it. ''Wow, Z… this is just…'' Dodoria shook his head and laughed from some element of shock ''Of course! A million times yes! Of course I'd love to be engaged to you!''

Zarbon's smile hit his ears and he threw his arms around his large pink partner squeezing him tightly, Dodoria clutched at him tightly back and when they both finally pulled apart they laughed to see each other had tiny tears of joy in the corners of their eyes.

They lent forwards and their lips met in a soft and lingering kiss, finally they pulled apart resting their foreheads against each others. ''I love you so much, Dodo.''

''And I love you too, Zarbon'' smiled Dodoria, before their lips met again.
