Sorry guys that this chapter took so long, it was mostly on purpose. I wanted the Spatial Memories fic to catch up with this fic chronologically but I didn't expect it to take this long.

Well, better today then tomorrow! Enjoy.

Day 26

Roxas

Me and Xakgo were walking down the hall to the main room having a nice chat.

"I hope today's mission is with Xion." He said to me with a bright look in his face. I arched an eyebrow at his excitement.

"You seem really interested in being with her." I said.

"Well I just find it interesting that she's the only other one in the Organization with a Keyblade." Xakgo replied. "That's all there is to it."

"You sure?"

"Well, she also seems friendly. I do wonder what Axel will think about her being one of our friends."

They were interrupted by the sound of commotion in the lounge. The Organization's Number three Xaldin was talking with Demyx and Xigbar.

"Then what in blazes did happen?" Xaldin asked glaring at the smaller Nobody.

Demyx put his hands up in mock surrender. "Don't look at me Xaldin, I only found this out minutes ago."

"What's going on, is everything okay?" Xakgo asked. The other Organization members turned to the two boys.

"Okay?" Xigbar scoffed. "As if. Word has it that there was a fight at Castle Oblivion that wiped out the Organization members we sent there."

The two of us looked at them with wide eyes and a shocked expression. Something about what he said didn't sit well with them. It was only the other day that they were sent there and now they're all gone? And Axel...

"What?" Xakgo squeezed out of his lips.

"You know, terminated, eliminated, slaughtered, ki-"

"Come on man, leave the kid alone." Demyx stopped Xigbar from harassing the kid. "He doesn't need to hear these dirty details."

"Enough." Saix said as he entered the room. "Everyone begin your missions. Roxas and Xakgo are with Xigbar today on recon."

"Wait!" I exclaimed. "Is it true what happened at Castle Oblivion? Who attacked everyone?"

Saix narrowed his eyes. "That is none of your concern."

"And Axel?"

The blue haired Nobody hesitated for a moment. "...I don't know."

For the first time we truly felt empty inside.

We were sent with Xigbar to the newly discovered world Agrabah. It was a city in the middle of a desert that we were supposed to do recon with. The mission went by in a blur for me and Xakgo. We were too distracted by the news of Castle Oblivion to care much about our mission. It was hard to describe how we were feeling given we don't have a Heart but the closest I could describe it was anxiety. Concern for our friend Axel and whether or not we will see him again.

"Xigbar?" Xakgo asked. We were in the middle of hopping along the rooftops trying to avoid the inhabitants. We were almost caught by a couple near the palace. "When we strike Heartless down their Hearts get sent to Kingdom Hearts. So what happens when a Nobody dies? Do they leave anything behind?"

Xigbar turned to us, the question piquing my interest as well. "There's nothing to leave behind Kiddo. We're not even supposed to 'be' in the first place."

I asked Xigbar, already knowing the answer. "So the other's at Castle Oblivion..."

"They're gone. If there's a place after death I can assure you they aren't there." Xigbar answered nonchalantly. Me and Xakgo looked down in disappointment. So it looks like he really was gone. There was this hollow feeling in our chest at this realization. "But it's no problem. At least we still got you two and Poppet." Xakgo's eyebrows furrowed, he did not like this name he had for Xion.

"Because we have Keyblades."

"Exactly on the mark Kiddo." He summoned a dark portal for them to return home to, mission complete. We were too busy contemplating that we didn't hear him calling for us the first time. "Hey, I said you coming?"

"Huh, oh yeah." Xakgo said. We took a step forward when suddenly there was this sharp pain in my head. It was the worst pain imaginable, like my head was splitting open. I cried out in pain as I fell on my knees.

"Roxas!" I heard Xakgo yell through my ringing eardrums.

"What's wrong with him?" Xigbar asked.

"I do- AHHHH!" Xakgo screamed as he was in the same state as me clutching his head. "What's h-happening!?"

That was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.

In that blackness I saw two boys standing side by side fast asleep. One had spiky brown hair and tan skin the other had brown hair as well but it was brushed downwards. The most surprising thing about the latter is that he's the spitting image of Xakgo. Every part of him looks like a flawless copy of him except for a scar on his left cheek, it was a thin 3-inch gash that looked recent. Both of their clothes look torn and tattered like they've fought a lot of battles. I looked to the boy next to the copy of Xakgo, I didn't recognize him but something was familiar about him.

"Who are you?"

Day 27

"Will they wake from this?"

"I am told they will return once Namine has fully stripped the other two of their memories."

"Then I suppose much hinges on Castle Oblivion."

"Xion has gained power over the Keyblade, just as you intended. She can fill for Roxas and Xakgo for the time being."

"And the Chamber? Have you found it?"

"No, sir. I would say progress is slow... if we actually made any."

"..."

"I'll be going now Lord Xemnas."

"...So you have fallen asleep once again my old friend."

Day 49

Xion

I was sent to a new world today to recon it. It was an pair of islands amidst a vast ocean, it was called Destiny Islands. One island was much smaller than the other while the much larger one seems to be the town where everyone lives. There was no Heartless in sight, so it might not be of much use to the Organization.

Nonetheless I felt like I should keep exploring. The last couple of weeks I've been assigned to fighting alot of Heartless. It's been hard since Roxas and Xakgo fell into their deep sleep. I could only hope that they would wake up and we could have ice cream together again. Until then I would distract myself with my missions.

I was inspecting a part of town close to the beach that looked mostly deserted. Still I clung to the shadows and hoped no one would spot me. I was about to move on when I noticed a girl with red hair coming by. I looked around for an escape route but I am too much in the open to escape unseen. I quickly jumped into a bunch of shrubbery and tried to conceal myself. It was cramped and the branches scratched my skin but I kept absolutely still.

I heard the footsteps of the girl as she got closer. Of course it was when she was right next to me that a branch decided to snap making me twitch slightly. The sound was enough to grab the girl's attention as she stopped and looked at the shrub.

"Hello? Is someone in there?" She asked bending down. I was a little surprised how similar her face was to mine. Her blue eyes were directly on mine as she put her hand out. "Don't be scared, I'll take you back to your mama if you're lost."

...Did she think I was a little animal? Either way, if she get's any closer she will know exactly who is in the bush. I held my breath as I felt my cover being blown, I will have to make a break for it the first chance I get. I was about to jump out and run before I heard someone yell out.

"Kairi!"

The redhead turned her head to whoever yelled that name. I heard another pair of feet get closer until it stopped right in front of her. There was a new girl with white hair and was dressed in a black button up shirt and a short grey skirt.

"Oh hi Lana." The girl apparently named Kairi said.

"I was waiting forever at your home! Girl, the next time you want to have a hike instead of a tutoring session let me know in advance." The girl name Lana chided.

"Sorry. I just wanted to go see the island."

"Again? Kairi, this is the fourth time in a week you wanted to just stare at the island. Do you have a explanation or do I have to tell your dads about this?"

"Um, I did but I forgot."

"Ehh?" Lana cocked her head in confusion.

"There were three friends I used to play with on the island."

"Selphie, Tidus, and Wakka?"

"Um well them to but I was referring to three other people, they were my best friends. They had to go somewhere and I couldn't follow them. So I wanted to wait till I see them again before I go visit the island. But a few weeks ago I woke up and I couldn't remember the faces of two of them."

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know it's like they were erased from my memories. I feel so bad that I forgot them. Maybe if I keep looking at the island the memories will come back to me."

Lana got closer to Kairi and put a hand on the girl's shoulder. "Well I'm sorry that happened Kairi. But I don't think doing this all the time is going to work. Let's just go back and focus on your studies for now. We can talk more about your friends at another time."

"You're probably right." Kairi sighed. I heard the two of them leave the area. I gave it a few minutes before I finally left the shrub. I was covered in twigs and leaves but I shook it off. I looked towards the island Kairi mentioned, it might be worth it to give it a check before I finish my mission.

I opened a portal to get to the island faster. Exploring I didn't really find anything, just some simple wooden structures built for kids. There were a few interesting stuff such as a tree bearing star shaped fruits and a cave with drawings in it but nothing particularly special worth noting. As I walked through the beach I grabbed some random seashells I saw, it might be a good gift for Roxas and Xakgo. felt my foot hit something metal. I looked down and saw something in the sand. I let out a small gasp as I saw a Keyblade in the sand. It was black and grey colored with the teeth of it shaped like the letter E.

"How did you get here?" I said to myself as I grabbed it by the hilt. It felt warm in my hand, so much light. I never knew a Keyblade could be left somewhere forgotten without it's wielder.

"Eraqus" I flinched and put a hand to my mouth. Why did I say that?

I looked back to the Keyblade. What should I do with it? I could keep it but I felt like I could give it to someone else. And I know who.

My recon complete I returned to the castle. The first thing I did was make my way to my friend's room. There I saw a Paladin and a Samurai guarding the entrance, Pal and Sam. The two lesser Nobodies have been guarding their masters ever since they fell into their deep sleep. I'm not really sure who ordered it, I think they just decided for themselves. I don't understand what exactly changed about them but they seem different from the lesser Nobodies ever since they were given their own identities.

They let me pass and I entered the room. The two boys were still on their bed, not moving a muscle since that day.

"Hi guys, I've been to a new world today. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. I hope you both could join me next time." I placed the seashells next to Roxas on the bed. I then watched as he fidgeted in place as I placed one close to his ear. I thought the sound of the ocean from the seashell would help, it looked like it did.

"Xakgo, I want you to have this, it's not a seashell but I think you will like it." I grabbed the Keyblade I found and put it in his hand. The moment I did the his fingers wrapped around the hilt like a vice.

"Aqua." Xakgo whispered out as the Keyblade began to glow with blue sparkles. It then transformed into a copy of Xakgo's Keyblade before vanishing.

I had no idea what happened but I think it might help Xakgo.

Well I just knocked the Kh Canon even more out of place than before. Wonder how this will affect the future? Tune in to find out eventually.

HAVE FUN!
