Team SKYJ (2/4) vs Curse of the Fang (Part 1)

Afterlife: From where Yuri and Kanade originate from, the afterlife is set to mimic the form of a local high school. This place is both where people go after death and where the 'Shinda Sekai Sensen' formed. One of the perks of being in the afterlife is 'already being dead' hence being immune to death. So when people here 'die', they come back good as new. Even if they starve to death, have their hearts taken out or even if their limbs are torn off...but of course... the pain is still just as real each time.

(FLASHBACK)

The Balcony.

A peaceful place where Team SKYJ was hanging at the moment. The sun was setting and the four girls were silent which was unusual for them, Saturn thought. Julie and Kanade were always people who were frugal with their words but Yuri would usually try to keep a conversation.

They had recently returned from the Cargo Ship incident so Saturn didn't blame her though. Saturn, while she was at least more talkative than all her team members combine, wasn't a person who was good with words so she stayed silent.

Finally, Yuri asked, "What do you two think about all this?"

Saturn blinked, "That's a very vague question."

The leader sighed deeply, "...I'm going to summarise basically everything that has happened and you're going to tell me whether it sounds bizarre when said out loud," Yuri cleared her throat before summarising, "Kanade and I are both dead. Julie is from a world where their souls can manifest into weapons and you are a universal game console. We have nothing in common, yet we all got kidnapped by the same person and ended up in the same team. We also got chucked in a world where it's normal for a teenager to create and carry a specially designed weapon and seeing fantasy-like creatures called Grimm is a common sight."

Saturn remained stoic. Yuri carefully observed for any reactions.

"During our adventure, I have met goddesses, spirits, Immersive Virtual Reality gamers, soldiers carrying demonic weapons, four sets of overpowered twins, a wizard who can breathe fire like a dragon, an actual ninja, a magical girl and people with superpowers called 'semblances' HECK! I was practically given a semblance...and don't get me started on Jason," Yuri paused for breath as if letting those words sink in. She probably missed some people but she didn't care.

She placed her hands on his forehead in a stressed manner, "and our only way home is defeating a crazy boy who clearly has no reason for doing any of this besides to have fun." she panted for breath, "...Look, I will never be able to comprehend the universe that you come from but from where I'm from, none of this is normal. If I said those exact words to someone in my world, they would've thought I was writing a fanfic crossover. So tell me Saturn, does any of this sound out of the ordinary to you?"

Saturn crossed her arms, she didn't know how to choose words carefully so she gave Yuri her honest thoughts, "...Not really. As a game console, I've witnessed many video game worlds with crazy concepts and storylines...so yeah..."

Yuri sat down and leaned back, still covering her forehead.

Looking at her leader breaking down emotionally, Saturn couldn't help but ask, "We've been here for a while now. Why are you just asking this?"

"I don't know..." Yuri stood up slowly, "I guess it just never hit me until I saw a FRICKING GIANT HUMAN EATING TITAN!"

Silence cut the group in two. Yuri's breath was heavy. Both Julie and Saturn flinched at the sudden outrage, leaving them speechless.

Their leader stopped as if realising how loud she had risen her voice, "...I'm sorry...this isn't what a leader is meant to act like...I'm going to bed."

She forced a weak smile before going inside. Kanade shortly following after. Julie looked down at the ground, guilty that she couldn't say anything.

Saturn gently patted her on the head, "It's okay. There are just some things that are better off left alone."

*Knock Knock...Knock...knock knock...*

...

A very sleepy Asuna opened the door. At first, she saw no one at the door but then she looked down and saw Julie staring up at her.

There were no words exchanged between these two, but it seems a message was delivered very clearly between the two. The white-haired girl was welcomed in quietly and lead to where one of Team STAB's members were sleeping.

"Tooru," Asuna softly called, "wake up...Julie wants to talk to you."

The mention of her name woke him up. Seeing how late it was, he could tell Julie really wanted to talk.

Tooru and Julie, due to certain circumstances, were close roommates back in their world. However, to their dismay, Beacon has a rule where students are not allowed to sleep at the dorm of other teams since apparently there have been issues of members leaving their teams to join others because of students doing this in the past.

Tooru slowly sat up, he whispered, "Thank you, Asuna."

Asuna gave a weak tired smile before returning to bed.

"Let's talk in the kitchen."

The duo made themselves a cup of tea each before Julie slowly explained Yuri's breakdown.

To her surprise, Tooru had a very calm response, "Makes sense."

Julie tilted her head.

"Can't really blame the girl. I haven't been here as long as you guys, and I already miss all our friends back at home," Tooru admitted solemnly, "and all the chaotic events we've been through doesn't help either doesn't it?"

"Ja."

The duo sat there peacefully, using the tea to help them think.

"I'm sorry if that didn't help, I'm not as wise as you may think," Tooru apologised, "But if you had to ask, I think the best thing you can do is be there for her. A leader may be responsible for the team, but a person who doesn't support their leader might as well not be on the team."

Julie nodded slowly.

"It is usually very difficult to fully understand a person, especially if they are from another universe. We may never understand how she feels...but..."

Another night arrived.

Mato and co had just returned to Beacom in a horrible, traumatised state due to Jack's sudden ambush. Black, Dead, Chariot, and Strength were known even by the otherworlders as undefeatable. Yet Jack, who just so happens to be the guy they need to defeat in order to go back home, almost left their precious other-selves at death's doorstep. It left everyone in very anxious moods.

Team SKYJ's Dorm:

Deep breaths slowly came in and out of her mouth. She grabbed the fridge handle but didn't open it. She just stood there as if forgetting why she went to the fridge in the first place. A finger tapped her on the shoulder.

Yuri turned and looked, "Julie?"

Julie gestured her hand to the table showing the cup of tea she had made for her.

Yuri looked at Julie with a hint of surprise.

She sat down and accepted the tea, "...Thank you..."

Julie smiled heartwarmingly. Tonight Ozpin had made an exception and allowed the other worlders to stay in each other's dorms so Yuri had thought Julie would've stayed with Tooru. Julie watched as Yuri enjoyed the drink she had prepared in silence.

The white-haired girl fidgeted nervously with her index fingers, "Umm...anu..."

Yuri continued sipping her tea while her eyes looked at her teammate.

Julie stared at the floor, looking for the right words to say, "...anu...I was thinking...our team could...could..."

Her listener waited quietly. Julie usually never opened up to anyone besides Tooru so Yuri waited patiently.

"Sh...shop...we could...maybe...to...to...tomo..."

Yuri politely sipped her tea again, "...yes?"

"Anu...go sho...sh...umm..."

"She wants our team to hang out and go shopping," Another white-haired girl entered the kitchen.

Yuri looked over at Kanade and back at Julie, "Is that right Julie?"

Relieved to have Kanade's support, Julie nodded, "Ja."

Their leader smiled, "Hmm...I guess it has been a while since we've hanged out together huh?"

Ever since Team STAB's and KNOL's arrival, Julie and Kanade mostly hanged out with them...not that Yuri blamed them.

"Did someone say shopping?" Saturn poked her head into the kitchen, "Count me in! There's a food place near the shops that I want to try. How about it?"

Julie agreed, nodding happily.

A playful grin found it's placed on the leader's face, "You know, considering you're origins, you two are surprisingly normal."

"HA!" Saturn replied, "Says the girl who died and went to the afterlife!"

"Hey, even I have standards, you know?"

"Yeah, sure you do."

The entire group laughed.

Yuri gave Saturn a soft shove in the shoulder. Julie silently thanked Kanade. She then made more tea and all four girls lifted their cups, giving a toast in the name of Team SKYJ. It was truly one of the first times where Julie smiled without Tooru's presence.

Round 4

"Oh come on Julie," using the semblance she was mysteriously given when arriving in Remnant, Yuri summoned a bazooka, "you still owe us a shopping trip, remember?"

She fired a missile... which was sliced in half before it could even explode.

"We were going to eat out as well."

Kanade stood in front of Yuri, holding her hand blades in a defensive position. Their blades clash. The sudden change in speed caused their opponent's light body to lift off the ground a bit.

With not enough time to reload, Yuri swung her bazooka.

Out of pure instincts, their opponent kicked the air and jumped over Kanade. Within seconds, she brought Kanade to her knees by slicing the back of her legs and chopped Yuri's bazooka in half.

-o-

"Wind Jerzu? What's that?"

"Anu...it's the name of my blaze power which lets me maneuver mid-air by...stepping or kicking the air."

"Really?! That's so cool! So even if you're airborne, you can still avoid attacks easily."

"Ja."

-o-

Yuri looked at Julie who was in her beserk mode, Curse of the Fang.

At point-blank range, Yuri summoned a handgun and aimed.

She hesitated for a second, "We're still planning to go...right?"

A bullet was fired. With her blaze skill and immense speed, Julie evaded despite the close range.

An electrifying pain rushed through Yuri's chest, as she felt Julie's blade strike her.

Kanade stood up, turned around and planned to put up a shield but by then, Julie's blade was already impaled through her chest.

All three girls were bleeding all over. Up close, both Kanade and Yuri noticed that Julie was badly hurt despite the fact that they haven't been able to land a single attack on the girl.

Kanade and Yuri met the floor once more. The last girl standing just stood there, staring.

She looked up at the damaged ceiling and began screaming in pain.

Winner: Curse of the Fang (Julie Sigtuna)

Kurumi vs Sing-love

A giant whiter scythe was swung, killing multiple clones at once.

From behind, shadow hands appeared and tried to hold Sing-love down.

A giant clock appeared behind the original. Using her musket as the minute hand and the Flintlock Pistol as the hour hand, Kurumi positioned her arms to show four o'clock. She then aimed the gun at her own head.

Sing-love freed herself and zoomed past Kurumi, slicing her in half.

But by then, Kurumi had already shot herself with the "Fourth Bullet Dalet" which rewinds the time of an object or subject causing Kurumi's two halves to connect back together.

With her musket, Kurumi then shot Sing-love in the back with the "Second Bullet Bet" which slowed down the time of Sing-love's movement. Without wasting a moment, Kurumi fired the third bullet but Sing-love evaded despite being slowed down.

"You are a very interesting opponent, Kurumi," Sing-love commented.

"Ara? Was that suppose to be a compliment?" Kurumi replied.

The white-haired girl flew forward. With her movements slowed, she could no longer move faster than light. Her movements were still swift though.

Many Kurumi clones appeared and unloaded their pistols.

Sing-love dodged but a lot of bullets managed to graze her. She swung her scythe firing a strong gush of wind. Kurumi and the clones tried flying to evade but they were flung by the wind and they crushed into the walls and windows.

Sing-love landed right next to where Kurumi had crashed and raised her scythe. Out of quick reflex, Kurumi shot Sing-love right in the chest.

"Ara-ara."

Sing-love jumped back and waited for another strange effect to occur but nothing happened.

"Which bullet was that?" She asked.

"The "Fifth Bullet Hei", lets me see a glimpse of the future of whoever it hits."

"Ooooh, do tell. What did you see?"

"A very... very warm future," Kurumi said as she escaped into the shadows.

At those exact words, the field's temperature rose drastically which could only be a sign of only one person.

A bright fiery flame burst through the walls, a flying man was seen in the center of the flame and he was heading straight for Sing-love. The flaming man yelled, "SING-LOVE!"

Sing-love blinked, "Natsu?"

"DRAGONIC SPIRIT SECRET ARTS:"

"EX-MODE:"

"CRIMSON LOTUS: PHEONIX ANGELIC BLADE!"

"White Doctrine!"

A large explosion was heard that shattered all windows and burnt down all walls. Smoke engulfed the surrounding area and the temperature slowly dropped. After a moment to let things slow down, a voice was heard.

"White Doctrine," the user of said move repeated, "for a certain amount of time, I become immune to damage from all abnormal attacks."

Kurumi reappeared from the shadows. Truth to those words, after part of the smoke had cleared, she saw that Sing-love looked completely untouched. Didn't really surprise her though.

"Sorry for stopping your powerful streak in such a boring manner," the alien queen continued, "but it seems you've gained a new fascinating power. In such a small time as well. Alright then, I'll allow you to entertain me mor...Hmm?"

The rest of the smoke had cleared revealing the true results of that attack; Natsu had collapsed. Fainted. Without a single word. Looking at him now, he was clearly in no state for battle. Sing-love and Kurumi both stared dumbfoundedly at the man who might as well have been suicidal.

"Was that... the future you saw...Kurumi?"

"No...It was much warmer than that."

"Is that so?"

The conversation ended there. The twin-tailed, former-superstar took the time to contemplate the last few seconds that just went by. That was the second time someone, besides Stella, had made her use her EX Mode. She didn't know what came over her, she used it out of pure instincts. This was a problem now. She had accidentally activated her trump card without actually using it, leaving her with a very hungry desire to verse someone strong.

"Oh dear...what shall I do?"

As if fate itself was being kind to her, the anser of that question was answered as Sing-love sensed something extremely abnormal from above, which says a lot coming from her.

She looked up at the sky where the mothership was, "Hey Kurumi?"

"Yes?"

"Remember when Jack said there were others like him out there?"

As if reading her mind, Kurumi casually answered, "...be careful, it might prove to be too much, even for you."

"I don't care. Right now I...really can't help myself."

Sing-love EX wings levitated highly. Kurumi blinked, and she disappeared. One second later, Kurumi felt the wind fly past as if a fast helicopter just took off.

Two Kurumi clones appeared from the shadows and carried Natsu to deliver him to his friends. The original Kurumi noticed but ignored them as she began finding a way towards Shido.

Saturn and Takane didn't have a variety of options. With a chained Miku behind and Ferid in front, they really had one option: find a way to free Miku and escape through cyberspace in the phone that Takane was holding. Because there was no way they were going to defeat a vampire, a creature that is stereotypically known to be unkillable and immortal.

Ferid opened his mouth with the sole purpose of starting an amusing conversation but the moment he took a step forward, Takane pulled out her gun and fired out of reflex. Ferid casually stepped aside to evade. He then ran forward so fast, the two girls couldn't see his legs touch the floor.

Saturn's dual wands turned icy blue and she summoned a large ice wall in an attempt to stop him. But by then, Ferid was already behind Takane's back. The girl swung her body around and aimed both her handguns, unloading her bullets.

Ferid walked left and right to dodged while occasionally using his sword to cut the bullets in half. After running out of bullets, Takane jumped back to reload and leave space for Saturn to use one of her fire attacks. Ferid read her moves and stayed close to Takane.

Changing her move, Saturn's wands turned silver and was wrapped in steel. She ran to defend Takane and swung her wand at Ferid like a sword. Ferid blocked with his weapon. The Sega Hard Girl found it difficult to push the vampire back but did all she could. The look of amusement on Ferid's face really annoyed her.

Takane finished reloading and fired a bullet past Saturn's shoulder and towards Ferid's chest. The vampire took the bullet with stride despite it being a direct hit to the heart.

"Forget it! Go save Miku!" Saturn yelled as one of her wands turned green, summoning large ivy plants to wrap around and restrain Ferid.

Takane didn't waste a second as she sprinted past.

"You know, I can hear you."

Saturn gritted her teeth and swung her silver metal wand. With a few swings, Ferid sliced all the vines off himself and knocked the metal wand out of Saturn's hand. Feird then jumped an incredible height and landed right in front of Takane before she could reach Miku. He then kicked her in the stomach before the girl could even aim her gun.

The human console sprinted towards Ferid, swinging a yellow, electrifying wand. With ease, the vampire deflected the weapon off Saturn's hand, grabbed her by the neck while stepping on Takane's face with his foot.

"I've become a bit thirsty after all that. So...if you don't mind I'll happily-"

Just when Feird was about to have a drink, a few nearby explosions were suddenly heard and a white-haired individual came crashing through the ceiling. The hole in the ceiling began sucking in everything due to wind pressure. Out of fast instincts, Feird pierced his sword through the ground and increased the grip on Saturn and Takane, not letting them go. With the chains and wires attached, the unconscious Miku was going nowhere. Soon, a laser field automatically closed the hole.

The two girls looked in horror when they saw who had just entered. It was Sing-love and she looked even more dangerous than before, with her giant wings and magenta flaming eye. There was a very hungry and powerful aura around her which was practically visible.

"That was quite the entrance. What brings you back?" Ferid greeted.

With Sing-love here, any chance of escaping the two girls had before was now long gone.

"I sensed a powerful presence, enter the ship." Sing-love replied, her body barely able to keep still. She had to destroy a couple of aircraft on the way here, both friend and foe, just to calm down her hunger for battle.

Ferid raised a curious eyebrow, "You? Calling someone powerful? Whoever might that be?"

Before Sing-love could reply, Ferid's ears twitched as he heard something. He heard the footsteps of someone getting closer and closer. Ferid could smell a human from a mile away, but this was no ordinary human coming towards them.

Suddenly, the door to the room, opened by itself but instead of making the usual noise a door makes when it's being opened, the sound of drums was heard.

A hooded girl wearing headphones walked into the room. Despite the difference, her clothing heavily reminded everyone of Jack's attire.

Enter Kate: Dimensional Traveler of Sound

Even with her face hidden, it was clear she was looking directly at Miku, completely ignoring every else in the room.

Saturn and Takane were just really confused. They had no idea what was happening at this point. However, it seems both Ferid and Sing-love had already made their decision on what to do.

"Sword, drink my blood." Ferid's sword turned red.

"Hmm? You're not going to ask her any questions?" Sing-love asked rhetorically as her EX Mode form and wings readied itself for battle.

"Does she seem like the type to talk?"

"Nope."

Ferid charged forward. Within a second, he was beside Kate's shoulder. He swung his blade mercilessly but a force field of colourful musical notes blocked the attack. The sound of Ferid's sword clashing was replaced with the sound of an electric guitar.

Sing-love summoned her white cannon and fired a few flaming rocks. The musical shield absorbed the attacks, and the note of a piano was heard every time a flamming rock was absorbed.

Ferid jumped back and swung his sword so hard that a red slash wave, capable of slicing running vehicles in half, was sent towards Kate. At the same time, Sing-love's cannon turned into a Gatling gun, and she sent a rain of bullet upon the dimensional Traveler.

The sound of a trumpet played, and a sound wave deflected all their attacks. Sing-love's body was filled with bullet holes and Ferid's arm was sliced off.

Sing-love's body recovered in a split second and suddenly, she was standing directly in front of the girl wearing headphones. She swung her giant scythe so fast that when the room was sliced in half, it didn't even notice it had been cut. Sing-love felt her scythe cut Kate in two-pieces, but instead of blood, colourful music notes spilled out. More music played and Kate's lower half recovered itself using other musical notes that materialized out of nothing. It was as if her body was made out of them, similar to how Jack's and Jason's bodies are made out of the trillions of micro cubes that they use.

If human mouths could stretch future, Saturn's and Takane's jaws would've hit the floor by now.

Ferid reattached his arm and Sing-love jumped back. Kate then raised her arm, causing both of them to flinch. Her arm reached for her headphones, presumably to change the song she was listening to.

Ferid raised his sword defensively while Sing-love activated one of the EX skills, "White Doctrine!"

"Insert Song:" Kate said as she glanced up at Miku, "Hatsune Miku: Ten Thousand Stars."

It suddenly became silent. Even the utter chaos of war that was happening outside was now inaudible. Saturn tried talking but she couldn't even hear her voice. It was like all noise had ceased to exist.

Then...A song started to play. Miku slowly woke up, as her ears recognised the song that she had written herself.

"Put on a mask and don a false identity.

I'm broken down into my core."

No one knew where the song was playing from. It felt as if everyone was wearing their own imaginary headphones, listening to 12D audio.

"Blood dripping, head is splitting,

Words are falling free

I can't take it anymore."

The room turned darker and Takane suddenly felt she was in a concert full of people.

"One by one it's over, this silence can't get louder

Bolt my jaw shut and throw away, away, away the key."

As individuals who had never experience something like this, all Sing-love and Ferid could do was charge at Kate with their weapons.

"Just one second longer,

A speed run to game over."

I am a fatality."

But when the song reached its pre-chorus, time itself had slowed down so that it was in sync with the song.

"I'm holding onto, onto, onto nothing

I've begun crashing, crashing, crashing hard"

It was like the atmosphere and wind moved according to the beat of the song.

"Let me feel panic, panic, panic again

Set ablaze, I'll shine brighter than the stars"

Sing-love found it difficult to control her movements.

"and I'll finally see ten-thousand others just like me

Filling up the night sky, we'll never be lonely

Even the room looked unrecognizable now. The walls and ground felt like it was moving, constantly changing the environment.

For a second, Ferid caught a glimpse of Kate whispering something into Takane's ear before everything changed again.

Take me up where I can feel the zero gravity."

To describe it bluntly; it felt as if reality itself had changed into a music video.

"Come on, Come and be free

Come on, Come and see."

Then...the song reached its chorus.

...

...

...

Julie stood there silently. She had stopped screaming in pain. Her body was motionless as Yuri wrapped her arms around her, hugging the girl.

"Sshh, It's okay..." Yuri began, her chin leaning on Julie's shoulder, "Don't worry. We forgive you. We always will, no matter what. Were teammates after all."

Despite being dead on the floor a few moments ago, Kanade stood by Yuri's side, placing a gentle hand on Julie's shoulder.

Julie's breathing escalated. With a shaky hand, she raised her blade to strike Yuri once again. This time, Yuri didn't move nor did Kanade try stop her. They were honestly done with fighting at this point...or so they thought.

Yuri closed her eyes to brace herself for the pain, she was scared but remained firmed, "Were still going shopping...right?"

The girl began screaming again as her blade came closer and closer to Yuri's head.

But the blade never reached its destination.

A small knife was thrown, precisely hitting Julie's blade and no one else, preventing it from hitting anything.

A smoke screen appeared and four shadows appeared. Two of which, pulled Yuri and Kanade away while the other two threw shurikens at Julie.

With instincts, Julie swiftly deflected all shurikens without even looking. She jumped back and went into a defensive position.

The smoke cleared and it was revealed that the four shadows were all the exact same person.

"NARUTO!" Yuri exclaimed in shock.

Naruto turned and grinned, giving the two girls his signature thumbs-up, "Yo."

Naruto Uzumaki had entered the battle.

Kanade noticed how injured Naruto already was but stayed silent as it seemed like Naruto wanted to look strong in order to give encouragement.

Suddenly, a flood of colourful musical notes appeared, playing very loud Hatsune Miku music.

"What the!"

The musical flood faded and someone had appeared right next to Kanade.

"Whoa, that was so trippy. Is that how it feels to be on drugs?"

"SATURN!?" Yuri called out her teammate's name in relief.

"YURI! KANADE!" Saturn exclaimed with an equal amount of relief,

Sega Saturn had entered the battle.

She quickly noticed Julie's state, "JULIE!? What happened to-"

The ground started shaking viciously.

Just when the situation seemed like it couldn't get any crazier, a familiar voice was heard in the distance shouting:

"YURI!"

The girl, whose name was yelled out, turned to face the direction of the voice. Combined with the shock of the previous two people appearing, Yuri couldn't help but repeat her previous two reactions.

While this all happened, Julie just stood there...watching.

"It is usually very difficult to fully understand a person, especially if they are from another universe. We may never understand how she feels...but...at least, you can rest assured knowing the fact that there are people here who do."

"O...Otonashi?!" Yuri's expression quickly turned from relieved to dumbfounded.

Said person was seen running towards them...with two giant alien robots following him from behind.

Yuzuru Otonashi is entering the battle.

"HELP ME PLEASE!" The running man yelled.

"YOU IDIOT! ARE YOU TRYING TO GET US ALL KILLED?!" Yuri shouted back.

Naruto and Saturn both gave Yuri a weird look. They both then ran towards the two giant alien robots; Naruto gathered chakra in his hand with the help of a clone while Saturn's wand turned red and yellow.

"RASENGAN!"

"MAGIC LIGHTNING FIRE!"

Naruto destroyed one robot while Saturn dealt with the other. Yuri and Kanade both stared in amazement.

As they landed, Naruto started snorting at Saturn trying to hold his laughter, "Pfft! Magic light fire!" he mimicked before bursting into laughter, "That sounds so childish! HAHAHAHAHA!"

"OH SHUT UP you brat! You do the same thing!" Saturn retorted.

Otonashi quickly thanked the two as he ran past and reached Yuri, placing his hand on her shoulders, he panted for breath, "Don't...worry. Tooru..."

"Huh?"

"Tooru will be here soon!"

Meanwhile, Tooru held up his shield, his body filled with wounds. He was alone.

A group of giant alien robots, the same ones that chased after Otonashi, surround the shield man.

Despite that, he didn't care about the trouble he was in. All he cared about was getting to Julie.

He let a war cry as he sprinted directly at one of the alien robots, "ARRRRGH! LET ME THROUGH!"

"Tch," Yuri equipped herself with a rifle, "if we just had to survive until Tooru gets here, Kanade and I would've been fine on our own. Shouldn't you guys be helping those who actually need help?"

"We are." Saturn said blankly.

"That's not what I meant." Yuri facepalmed, trying to hide her happiness.

"Don't be silly," said Otonashi, "we all agreed that we would be defending this school."

Naruto hummed in agreement as he punched his fist into palm.

Yuri looked over at Kanade who silently nodded and smiled back at her.

The leader of team SKYJ then took in a deep breath, "...Alright! Our mission is to reunite Julie and Tooru. LET'S GO!"

...

"Wow...just wow..."

The two hooded individuals stood at opposite sides of the room, racing each other.

"I honestly...did not see this coming...But..." Jack stopped to fully think about it, "then again, your main motivation is music after all."

Kate didn't say a word. She just stared at Jack with an unreadable expression.

Jack sighed, "my very first kidnapping since my debut as a villain and it just so happened to be an artist who you're a big fan of...how unlucky..."

"..."

"Hmm? Why didn't I stop you from freeing them you ask? Well..."

Sing-love and Ferid stood behind Jack, listening carefully. By now, Sing-love had already quenched her thirst for battle.

"I don't know actually..."

"..."

"You see, I had this plan to use Miku as a power source for this giant cannon thingy that was going to destroy Beacon Academy and the heroes were going to have to save her before the cannon gets enough power to shoot... at least that was the type of plot I was going for, this is the final arch of the story after all, it's got to have some sort of tension...hmm... maybe I just forgot about it...yeah that's probably it." He then chuckled, "Ha! Now that I think about it, that technically makes the whole 'Miku kidnapping' kinda pointless...doesn't it?"

"..." Kate's hand reached for her headphones causing Ferid and Sing-love to slightly tense.

"Oh I'm so sorry, did I make you angry? You know, I just got back from a 2v2 battle with Marcus, Alice, and Jake so I'm pretty tired already...But I guess don't mind another brawl if you're that desperate."

Thousands of small micro cubes appeared in Jack's hand, creating a set of advanced red and black headphones. Kate went through her list of songs while Jack wore his new electronic.

"But before we start...May I ask you a question?"

"..."

"Earlier you saved those three characters; Miku, Saturn, and Ene. Even going all out as to whispering something to one of them. Correct?"

"..."

"Therefore, you are a traveler who has now interacted with characters. Am I wrong?"

"..."

"Soooo...doesn't that technically make you a-"

"Insert Song:" Kate pressed a button on her headphones.

"I'll take that as a yes."

"Date A Live OST - Ground Zero!"

The song began and with it, another battle between dimensional beings.

A/N End! Aww man, took me three months to update. I didn't even notice that much time had passed since then. Sorry for slow updates everyone. I do hope you are enjoying each chapter that comes out though. I just want to remind everyone that I WILL FINISH THIS STORY! I AM STILL DETERMINED!

Anyways, I admit the pacing of this chapter was really fast and possibly rushed, I'm trying to write shorter chapters so they come out faster (Clearly not working out though). Since there has been a long gap between chapter post, you may have noticed that I have ran over a few possible side plots such as Issac Westcott actually doing villain things or, as mentioned by Jack, using Miku as a power source for a giant cannon. There's a lot to keep track of so I did choose to get rid of those quickly so I could focus on other things. Do not worry, I still have many exciting things planned for the future so I hope you look forward to it.

BY THE WAY, this story has reached half a hundred chapters. Not sure if that's a milestone to be proud of since I know other authors who have written WAY MORE than that. I don't know, just something I noticed when writing this chapter.

Not much to say other than that. Thank you so much for reading and thank you to those who reviewed, especially JohnAwake. John...I have no idea what you are saying but...thank you so much! It really touched my heart... (I'm joking, I have google translate lol).

Hopefully, the next chapter will come out as soon as possible. Thank you everyone for being patient.

SO yeah...BYE!

This chapter was finished on 8/10/2019
