IM SO SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG :((((((( I've really been wanting to get this story done but I've had so many things going on lately! Thanks for coming back! With Clemont and Bonnie's episode airing next week, I had to get another chapter done!
PLAN D: MIETTE - Part 1
"I KNEW IT!"
Bonnie excitedly shouted while pumping her fists up, almost hitting the roof of the cramped tent. Serena covered her face with her hands trying to hide from the embarrassment of what she had just told the little girl. She muttered,
"Y-yeah b-but please don't tell any-"
Bonnie jumped up and down ecstatically, running around the tent yelling, "SERENA AND ASH SITTING IN A TREE, K-I-S-S-I-"
"SHUT UP!" Serena jumped on the little girl and covered her mouth with her hands. Bonnie continued to laugh even while being held down. Serena snapped, "HE COULD HAVE HEARD YOU!"
Bonnie's laughter died down and she sighed, "Oh please! Even if he heard me he's too dense to understand."
Serena pouted, sitting back up and letting Bonnie go, "Ok, your right, but still, don't do that!" She crossed her arms.
This is going about as well as I thought it was going to…
"Well anyways," Bonnie started, finally settled across from Serena with all the laughter out of her, "why did you decide to tell me this now?"
Why did I…
"It's… well…" Serena stuttered, forming the words in her head, "...I think I wanna… tell him now."
Bonnie gasped, smiled, and celebrated, "Yaaay! You go Serena!"
Serena blushed madly, "Y-yeah…"
"How are you gonna do it!?" Bonnie questioned eagerly.
"We'll, that's just it, I don't know." Serena responded sadly, "He's so dense… I don't know how to get through to him. And even if I can make him understand, I'm not sure how he'll react…"
Bonnie's smirking face turned to investment, "Oh… I get it."
"Yeah," Serena concluded, "I just don't know what the best way to do it would be…"
"And you brought me in…" Bonnie started,
"…because I thought another girl's opinion might be useful…" Serena sighed.
I never thought it would come to this… but here we are…
"I get it!" Bonnie grinned, "I'm happy to help Serena!"
Bonnie, always wanting to help out…
A small smile grew on Serena's face.
I'm glad I did this.
"That's really nice of you Bonnie, thanks!" Serena replied.
Bonnie took a determined face and declared, "Tonight, I'll brainstorm some ideas of how you can tell him how you feel! I won't rest until I come up with the best-most-romantic idea ever!" She pumped her fist in the air as she finished her declaration.
Serena giggled, "That sounds good to me! Let me know if you get anything good."
"You got it!" Bonnie responded.
—
"I've got it!" Jessie declared, sitting on her laptop with the rest of Team Rocket in a hideout they found.
"Got what?" James asked, looking up from his computer.
"Phase 2 of my brilliant plan to finally get the twerps together!" Jessie announced, running over to James and Meowth with her laptop in her arms.
Meowth responded, "I thought your last idea worked though?"
"Why Meowth, that was just the set-up, we still have yet to actually get them together!" Jessie explained as James and Meowth sat close together to see what Jessie had on her screen.
"Oh yeah, that makes sense I guess." Meowth replied, "Now, what's this you have here?"
Jessie explained, "I stole some data off of a camera in the nearby forest hoping to get some insight on where the twerps were at, and when looking through its contents, I found this photo!"
Meowth and James both examined her screen, and found that it was a security camera photo taken in the forest close to a nearby town. The photo showed some girl with blue hair and a slurpuff walking along toward the town.
"Uh, Jessie, who is this?" James inquired.
"Don't you remember?" Jessie groaned, "It's that other twerpette from the pokemon showcases!"
"Oh, yeah I sorta forgot about her." Meowth added.
"We'll I don't blame you, the great Jesselie is much more memorable than her!" Jessie cackled.
Meowth responded, "No, she just doesn't have much screen time in the show."
"What?" James asked, confused.
"Nothin'." Meowth replied, pretending nothing happened.
"Anyways!" Jessie exclaimed, "If you guys don't remember, this is the twerpette's romantic rival for the twerp!"
"They are?" James asked.
"How do you know that?" Meowth said.
"I overhear them talking in the waiting room at performances." Jessie said.
"Ohhhhh…" Meowth and James both responded.
"Yes, and get this, this photo was taken yesterday, and the town that this girl is headed toward in the photo is the same town that the other twerps are headed to!"
"Ok, so I get where this is going…" Meowth said, "You want to force the twerpette to confess to the twerp by getting this twerpette to join the other twerps and fight for the love of the twerp!"
"Er… yes… I think." A confused Jessie confirmed.
"We really should stop referring to all these kids as twerps…" James sighed, "this is starting to get confusing…"
"You're probably right…" Jessie agreed, putting the laptop down and standing up confidently, "Serena and Ash won't know what hit them!" She finished her declaration and paused for a second, hearing what she had just said.
The team sat there awkwardly for a second.
"Nope, nevermind, it doesn't work." James said.
"Yeah, I agree, let's just keep using twerp." Jessie groaned.

The next couple days were pretty normal for Ash and the gang. They traveled through the forest without really any danger or interruptions, which was a first for them. Something was definitely missing, but they couldn't think of what it was, and it's not like they really minded the change of pace. Serena and Bonnie would talk about plans for Serena to ask Ash out before they went to sleep every night, but none of the plans were real winners. Serena was a little sad that things weren't working out as fast as she had hoped, but the determined Bonnie reassured her that they'd come up with something soon.
Eventually, the group would reach the next town.
"Thank goodness, civilization!" Serena celebrated, as the group entered the front gates of the large town.
"We were in that forest for a while weren't we…" Clemont sighed.
Ash laughed, "You guys think that was bad, you should have seen Viridian Forest back in Kanto."
"Man, I'm just so excited to be clean!" Serena said excitedly.
"Yeah, I am too! Clemont's starting to smell." Bonnie responded.
"What do you mean I'm starting to smell?!" Clemont shouted worriedly, smelling his armpits while the gang laughed.
Ash settled down his laughter and said, "Don't worry Clemont, we all smell bad right now."
A sly grin grew on Bonnie's face, and she said to Ash, "Well, everyone but Serena, right Ash?"
Serena felt herself tense up and a blush come on her face.
Wha- hey!
"Huh, what do you mean?" Ash asked, curious.
Bonnie continued, "I mean, you think Serena smells good rig-"
Serena ran between Ash and Bonnie and covered Bonnie's mouth. She shouted, "BONNIE!"
"What?" Ash questioned, still confused.
Serena looked to Ash, face full of red, and gave him an awkward smile. "Nothing!"
"Oh, ok." Ash responded.
Bonnie laughed hysterically.
Bonnie's gonna be the death of me.
The gang walked through the town and made it to the local pokemon center. They got themselves settled into their rooms and all met together in the lobby.
"So we can stay here for the next day or two and refresh before we head out on the road again." Ash said to the group.
"Yeah, I'm glad we got here when we did, I was starting to run out of food to make." Clemont added, "I think today I'll head down to the market and restock on everything we need."
"That'd be great!" Ash replied.
"I wanna help too, can I go with you big brother?" Bonnie asked looking to her brother.
"Oh, that'd be really helpful Bonnie, thanks!" Clemont responded.
"Yeah thanks you two!" Serena said, "I was just gonna look around at the plaza and maybe go clothes shopping for a couple hours with my Pokemon."
"Preparing for the next showcase?" Ash smiled.
"You know it!" Serena responded confidently.
"Hah, cool! Well, I might just stay at the Pokemon center and train, I don't really have anywhere to go." Ash said.
Suddenly, Bonnie's face lit up with inspiration. Serena noticed,
Uh oh.
"Hey Ash, you've been training reaaally hard the past couple days, you need a break!" Bonnie suggested.
"A break? I don't like the sound of that…" Ash replied.
"Well," Clemont added, "I actually agree with Bonnie, Ash, you shouldn't overtrain or you'll burn yourself out. You should take a rest day and continue training tomorrow."
"Oh, you think?" Ash responded, shrugging, "Alright then, I guess I'll take the day off today."
"Hah! Thanks big brother!" Bonnie exclaimed.
"But, I don't really have anything else to do today…" Ash sighed.
Bonnie immediately responded, "Why don't you go shopping with Serena!"
"Huh, w-with me?" Serena asked, looking toward the devious little girl. She gave Serena a wink.
Oh, now I get it!
"O-Oh, yeah! Ash, why don't you come along with me!" Serena suggested, giving Ash the cutest smile she could make. "Take some time to explore the town!"
"Oh, ok!" Ash responded, not taking much time to think.
Well that was easy!
"Yaaay!" Bonnie reacted excitedly.
"What are you all excited about?" Clemont asked the little girl.
"Oh nothing." She said back, "Come on guys, let's get going!"
—
Alone again!
Serena had a confident grin on her face as her and Ash made their way down the road toward the nearby shopping plaza.
This time I'm making the most of it!
She looked toward her crush, and examined his expression. He looked straight forward, staring into the distance and looking as though he was enjoying the environment.
Just him and me…
She felt deja vu as she walked down the road with Ash, and she thought a while back to the day that they went out to buy presents for their pokemon and had a similar little adventure.
This time, nothing will stop me!
Serena looked down to his hands to see if she had an opportunity to hold his, but unfortunately he had them stuffed in his pockets.
Hm… not as easy as before…
As the two made their way into the plaza, Serena broke the silence between them.
"Hey Ash," she said, "thanks for coming out to shop with me!"
Ash looked away from the skyline and toward Serena, "Oh, yeah, it's no problem! I'm just glad I get to spend some time to relax and explore the town!"
"Yeah well," Serena sighed, stepping a little closer to Ash, "I'm just glad that we get to spend some more time alone again."
"Oh," Ash replied, "yeah, that too!"
Serena's eyebrow rose at his not very receptive response. She tried again, "Well cause, I feel like recently, I've found a lot of appreciation when we get to hang out with just the two of us… and I feel like… when you said you'd come shopping with me… you make it seem like you appreciate it too."
Ash responded, "uh… yeah, that sounds right!"
Serena frowned.
He… did that all go over his head?!
"Oh look Serena, an ice cream stand!" Ash suddenly announced, as he ran across the street towards a cart. Serena stood still for a couple seconds, looking at Ash run away from her.
Oh, this is gonna be harder than I thought.
Serena felt frustrated, and she felt the desire inside to give up. But, she didn't acknowledge it. She was committed to this. The girl took a deep breath.
I won't be discouraged, I'm going to try, and nothing's gonna stop me!
Serena felt motion behind her, and something approach her left ear.
"You and Ashy on a little date huh?"
HUH?
Serena spun around and found herself face to face with…
"MIETTE!"
—-
An hour earlier…
At a nearby berry stand, Miette and her slurpuff examined ingredients to buy for her upcoming batch of pokepuffs. Miette stood to the side and allowed the pokemon to sniff each berry. After about 10 seconds, Slurpuff happily exclaimed,
"Slurpuff!"
The pokemon picked out a couple berries and threw them into Miette's basket. Miette glanced at the berries, and turned to her Slurpuff,
"Perfect as always Slurpuff!" she said with a satisfied smile. The girl then paid the cashier and started to make her way down the market.
Time for another batch of world-class pokepuffs!
Miette was headed back to the pokemon center she was staying at when a trio approached her with high energy.
"CONGRATULATIONS GIRL!" they all yelled with enthusiasm.
"Wha-" a confused Miette reacted.
One of the trio, a blue-haired man, spoke and interrupted her, "You are the official 100,000th person to visit this market!"
Miette was overwhelmed, "Wait wait wait what? H-How do you kno-"
"We just know!" the shorter, feline-like man of the trio said. "But more importantly, you've won yourself the grand prize!"
"G-Grand Prize?" Miette muttered as the trio handed her a heavily decorated envelope. She examined the object, "...W-What's in here?"
"Open it and find out yourself!" The woman in the trio said, "Unfortunately we're very busy and have to leave here, hope you have fun!"
"What?"
The 3 of them ran off, leaving Miette speechless.
…what just happened?
She looked down to her slurpuff, who looked just as confused as her.
…interesting.
The girl looked down at her hands, which held the envelope they had given her.
Well… might as well.
She opened it up and took out what was inside.
What is this?
Out of the envelope came slips of paper. Upon further investigation, they appeared to be tickets to the local amusement park. The front of the slips displayed the name Eeveeland.
I've never heard of this place before…
The tickets had some information and advertising for the park, and after reading through it all, Miette started to get excited.
This place seems fun I guess… but…
Miette took the focus off of one of the tickets and looked at all of them. In total there were 5 tickets.
I don't really have anyone to go with.
—-
Now back to the present…
"What are YOU doing here?" A scared Serena questioned with fear.
"I was out buying some ingredients, and I saw you! What are the chances!" Miette cheered.
SHE HAD TO APPEAR RIGHT NOW!
"Hey Serena I got us ice cre-" Ash announced as he ran back toward Serena, noticing Miette, "Oh, hi Miette!"
"Ice cream? Wait, is this actually a date Serena?! I was just joking before!" Miette exclaimed, surprised.
Serena's face was full with red, not just with blushing, but with anger as well.
MIEEEEETE!
"NO, IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!" Serena screamed.
"wha… Serena whats going on?" A confused Ash stammered.
"NOTHING ASH!" Serena responded with fury.
"A-Ah OK!" Ash quickly responded, shutting himself up.
"Ohhhh…" Miette deflated, "I see. I almost thought Serena got some guts for once."
MIETTE YOU-
"Well, I'm really glad to see you Ash!" she said winking to the boy, to Serena's dismay. "I'm actually glad to see all of you right now!"
"Why's that?" Ash asked.
"Because of this!" Miette said, pulling something out of her bag and displaying it.
W-What is this?
"Tickets?" she inquired.
"Eeveeland?" Ash added.
"It's a theme park nearby! I just won these tickets a little while ago, and I've been looking for people to go with! Are you guys free tomorrow?"
"T-Tommorow?" Serena scrambled, "Uh- well I'm uh… not sure…"
"We totally are!" Ash replied excitedly, "This place looks awesome, I'm sure Bonnie and Clemont would love to go! Thanks for the opportunity!"
"It's really no problem, I'd do anything for you Ash cause I know you'd do anything for me!" Miette replied seductively, looking to Serena and giving her a wink.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
"Well anyway I gotta head out and make some pokepuffs! Meet up at the park tomorrow morning?"
"Sure that works! See ya' Miette!" Ash replied.
"Bye Ash!" Miette said as she scurried off.
Ash turned back to the defeated Serena, "Wow, it was really nice of Miette to invite us!"
Serena clenched her fists, "Yeah."
"Well anyways," Ash continued, "do you want your ice cream now?"
