Steven's life began as a survivor in Sonic's World. Throughout the early years, Steven's heard stories about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, who he wanted to be like despite his own flaws. But one day, Chaos Control happens and this caused Steven to meet Sonic, his friends along with new friends who will guide him to be one of the greatest heroes in the world.

dbehi1: Steven is stuck, while Maxwell, Lucy, Gadget, Penny, & Brain, & Rockford are busy taking out the Eggman Robots and gathering intel, Sonic, to free Steven, you must seek out other heroes from other worlds, such as Rogue Trooper of Nu-Earth, the last surviving G.I who has the souls of his dead comrades and the ultimate super-soldier built to fight the forces of the Traitor General and the Norts. Use the Teleporter in Tails's lab to travel between dimensions.

Gotta Go Fast (Sonic X Theme) by NateWantsToBattle

A flashback from last Chapter/Episode plays at Downhill Street with Sonic seen on the ground before turning his head while groaning. "Like to..." Sonic says as Shadow walks slowly to him. "...Fight dirty, don't ya...!?" Sonic asked, "Consider yourself fortunate" Shadow says before he stops walking. "If I'd..." Shadow says as he raises his right fist up. "...Have taken off these Inhibitor Rings, you would have been dead" Shadow says before sirens were wailing from afar. "Hmm" Shadow says as he looks behind a bit before looking back at Sonic and Steven who was seen beaten while Sonic was helping him. "I have a feeling I should make myself scarce. Farewell, Sonic. It certainly was a great pleasure!" Shadow says before he pulls out the Green Chaos Emerald. "Wait..." Steven says weakly before Shadow looks to see Sonic helping him sit up a bit. "Before you go... Tell me... Who are you...?" Steven asked before Shadow slowly turns around "...My name is Shadow..." Shadow says before he looks back at Steven a bit. "...Shadow the Hedgehog..." Shadow says as Steven looked a bit surprised. "Chaos Control!" Shadow says before the Green Chaos Emerald glows in his hand. Sonic and Steven block their eyes from the light coming from the Green Chaos Emerald. "Kuu!" Sonic says before Shadow disappears with the light slowly dying. "Shadow... What is he?" Sonic asked, "Shadow...?" Steven asked before police cars were seen getting closer towards Sonic and Steven along with a chopper and a group of Gun Beetles. The Police were then surrounding Sonic and Steven before Steven was seen by himself while having his hands up. After a few minutes, Steven was seen walking while his wrists were cuffed with another set of cuffs. Chuck, Mr. Tanaka, Chris and Sonic watched with Chris, Chuck and Mr. Tanaka looked shock and worry and Sonic stayed serious. Steven was then being taken to the chopper with a Cop holding him on a leash. Steven and the cop stop before they look towards Sonic, Chris, Chuck and Mr. Tanaka. Steven waves at them before he and the cop make their way inside the chopper. Sonic then turns to Chris. "Don't worry, Chris. Steven'll be fine before you know it, buddy" Sonic says.

Inside the Isolated Maximum Security Cell in Prison island, Steven was seen wearing a prison outfit while looking into space. After a few seconds, he gets in a push up position and does a one-hand pushup workout.

Back outside of Steven's maximum security cell, Steven continued training as it was time to continue where we left off.

Escape from Prison island (Steven's Big Break)

Back inside the isolated maximum security cell, Steven was seen doing sit ups while grunting.

Outside of the Isolated Maximum Security Cell, a guard talks off screen. "Steven's in the underwater isolation cell. It's impossible to escape from there unless you're a magician, and even if he could, where's he gonna go once he breaks out?" the guard says off screen.

Outside of Prison island, the guard continued off screen. "Prison Island is surrounded by the ocean. There's no land for miles so he's basically helpless! And check out the tight security!" the guard says off screen.

At Prison Island, the guard continues as there were security guards on the watch tower patrolling the area. "We've got guards keepin' lookout in the towers 24 hours a day. It's impregnable!" the guard says off screen.

Inside the Military Base of Prison Island, the guard continues as there were laser beams all over an hallway. "And the infrared laser nets alarms will go off the second they detect the slightest movement!" the guard says off screen.

In another hallway of the Military Base, the guard continues as there were surveillance cameras monitoring the hallways. "The entire prison is wired with surveillance cameras, metal detectors, reinforced walls, temperature, pressure detectors and sound monitors. We have many hi-tech devices that..." the guard says off screen.

Inside the security room, the guard was seen and continues as this guard was known as Howard Watcher. "...Not even a fly could escape from here!" Howard says as there was a big monitor showing many areas where the cameras were monitoring in Prison Island including Steven along with Howard and two security guards on the computers. "This place was built to hold the toughest crooks in the world. Professionals can bring any weapons they want, but in all the years that Prison Island's been in business, there hasn't been one single solitary breakout! This security system is a work of art. They'll be helpless!" Howard says before one of the security guards looks at Howard. "Hope Steven likes it here, 'cause he ain't leavin'!" Howard says before he laughs. Howard then points to the camera that had Sonic on it. "Don't think of pullin' any funny stuff while I'm on duty and you exercising! 'Cause I've got my eye on you, Steven! If you do anything suspicious, you'll be punished severely!" Howard says before he laughs again off screen. "I'm sure Steven is innocent, but there's nothing I can do to help him" the Security guard says in his head.

Back inside the Isolated Maximum Security Cell, Steven continued doing sit ups. "I may not be able to leave anytime soon, but I can still regain the strength I need if I do need to get out of here!" Steven says.

At the Ocean, the Yacht that Chris and Mr. Tanaka were on sailed in the ocean. Suddenly, the Yacht slowly comes to a stop.

Inside the cockpit of the Yacht, Chris and Mr. Tanaka were seen looking forward while still having their disguises on. "We're still quite far from Prison Island, but we can't take this motor boat in any closer because of their surveillance radar. Their newest high-tech security systems are so advanced that they would spot us long before we ever reached the coast, and if they do detect us, they will send out armed boats to intercept and arrest us" Mr. Tanaka says before Chris turns to him. "So..." Chris says before Mr. Tanaka looks at him. "...What are we gonna do?" Chris asked, "Luckily, I've thought up a way to thwart their system" Mr. Tanaka says before he looks forward again. "It is high-tech..." Mr. Tanaka says before his glasses completely shine. "...So we will fool it using my analog technology!" Mr. Tanaka says.

Outside of the Yacht, an object suddenly crashes into the water. The object then reveals to be a Swan shaped paddle boat. Mr. Tanaka and Chris looked at the Swan shaped paddle boat. "They'll be looking for motor boats, but this paddle boat will let us Swan under their radar without any suspicion" Mr. Tanaka says, "Hmm" Chris says.

Inside the Swan shaped paddle boat, Chris and Mr. Tanaka were peddling while Chris pants and a quake was heard from a speaker off screen.

Outside of the Swan shaped paddle boat, Chris speaks. "I don't know about this, Mr. Tanaka. I feel kind of..." Chris says before Mr. Tanaka turns to him. "...Goofy" Chris says, "We can make it. We just have to paddle faster!" Mr. Tanaka says before he began to peddle faster. Mr. Tanaka grunts as the Swan shaped paddle boat began to go up a bit.

Back inside the Swan shaped paddle boat, Chris continued panting while peddling. "Just wait, Steven. We're coming to your rescue!" Chris says.

Back outside of the Swan shaped paddle boat, it was quickly making its way closer to Prison Island as it quaked faster and Mr. Tanaka and Chris yelled.

Back at Prison Island on one of the watch towers, an officer noticed something from his binoculars. "Sir, somebody is heading toward the island!" an officer says before another security guard looks out with his binoculars. "Really?" the second officer says.

Inside one of the binoculars, the Swan shaped paddle boat was seen getting closer into view. "It looks like a giant Swan, sir" the first officer says off screen, "Swan boats are for people going on dates. What kind of couple are on that Sawn boat anyway?" the second officer asked off screen before Chris and Mr. Tanaka were seen in a closer view inside the Swan shaped paddle boat.

Back with the officer's, they continued watching through their binoculars. "Do you think a Swan boat poses a threat?" the first officer asked, "No, it's fine. It's too crazy to be a problem" the second officer says.

In the skies, Dr. Eggman was seen flying inside his Egg Mobile before stopping. Dr. Eggman then lets out a laugh. "And I push this" Dr. Eggman says before a sound wave was activated.

Back inside the security room of Prison Island, the sound wave caused the cameras and the monitors to go static. "What?" Howard asked as he and the two security guards were stuttering a bit. "What?" Howard asked again.

Back outside of Prison Island, the alarms were off. "Sound the alarm!" Howard says off screen, "We can't, sir!" the first security guard says off screen, "The system's going haywire!" the second security guard says off screen, "Call the cell blocks!" Howard says off screen, "They're jamming our communications" the first security guard says off screen, "It's an enemy attack!" Howard says off screen as Dr. Eggman was seen laughing and making his way towards the forest area of Prison Island.

Outside the Pyramid of Dr. Eggman's Hidden Base, Decoe and Bocoe speak off screen. "He did it! He's back on Prison Island!" Decoe says off screen, "Dr. Eggman rules!" Bocoe says off screen.

Inside Dr. Eggman's Hidden Base, Decoe and Bocoe were about to clap hands. "All right! We did it!" Bocoe and Decoe said at the same time as they clapped and laughed.

11:13 Prison Island: Coastline

In the forest area of Prison Island, Dr. Eggman was seen leaning back in his Egg Mobile while having his hands behind his back. "I wonder if I'm pushing my luck, breaking into the place a second time" Dr. Eggman says, "Perhaps" Decoe says from a video cam off screen before Dr. Eggman looks down a bit. Dr. Eggman saw Decoe and Bocoe looking at him from his Hidden Base on the small monitor. "I still can't believe you let the female bat sweet talk you. The security on the island has been greatly fortified since your last invasion" Decoe says from the monitor as he raised his right arm up. "You must be careful" Decoe says from the monitor before putting his arm down. "When they restore communications, they will send robots to stop your team" Decoe says before Bocoe moves close a bit. "Their robotic designs are greatly improved!" Bocoe says from the monitor before putting his hand up. "With their new defenses, it will be almost impossible to enter that compound again" Bocoe says from the monitor, "Well, no tight security is going to stop me from breaking in and taking those Chaos Emeralds. Shadow said I need to obtain all seven Emeralds in order to operate the Eclipse Cannon" Dr. Eggman says, "But are you sure it's worth the risk, Doctor?" Decoe asked from the monitor off screen before Dr. Eggman laughs. "My goal is to activate the Eclipse Cannon, the ultimate weapon that's been sealed away and once I get it working, I'll be unstoppable!" Dr. Eggman says in his head, "Sorry to keep you waiting" Rouge says off screen before she and Shadow pop out from the trees and land in front of Dr. Eggman. Dr. Eggman then looks at Rouge. "You know having to come back isn't my idea of a vacation! How can you be sure your intelligence reports are correct? Why would the Chaos Emeralds even be here on the island? Are you absolutely sure?" Dr. Eggman asked, "Well, believe what you want to believe. Now fill him in, Eggy!" Rouge says, "Hmmm! Very well. Very well. From what you've told us, the Chaos Emeralds are stored in a vault inside the G.U.N cargo base. I must have them!" Dr. Eggman says, "No problem, just leave it to me!" Rouge says, "Do not trust her!" Decoe says from the monitor as he shook a bit before Bocoe raised his fists up. "She wants it for herself! Test her first!" Bocoe says from the monitor before Dr. Eggman hangs up the call. "They get on my nerves!" Dr. Eggman says before he turns to Rouge. "Now let's get down to the nitty gritty, shall we? In the first phase of my plan, I will go in first and roam around the island wreaking havoc and drawing..." Dr. Eggman says before looking at Shadow. "...G.U.N troops' attention from their posts, clearing the way for you two to sneak into the base without being detected. Then, Shadow moves in. We will blow up the whole island by sneaking into the ammunition warehouse and setting off all the Dynamite packs..." Dr. Eggman says before he holds up a detonation clock. "...Stored there by placing this miniature detonation device there and get away before anyone has a chance to know what hit them!" Dr. Eggman says before he throws the device to Shadow and Shadow catches it. Shadow looks at it for a bit before nodding to Dr. Eggman. Dr. Eggman then moves his Egg Mobile forward a bit while looking at Rouge. "Meanwhile, Rouge will proceed to the cargo area where the Chaos Emeralds are locked away and grab them. I hope that's a challenge for a worthy treasure hunting as yourself, bat girl" Dr. Eggman says as he pointed at Rouge before Rouge gives a salute while winking. "We will then meet up at the rendezvous point and make our escape. We have only have a limit of exactly 30 minutes and remember, we won't get a second try. If you run into trouble, you're on your own! So don't fail me!" Dr. Eggman says before Shadow and Rouge nod. Dr. Eggman then takes the lead through the forest. "Let's go!" Dr. Eggman says as Shadow and Rouge follow him with Shadow running and Rouge flying.

Weapons Bed

Above the forest of Prison Island, missiles began to fire everywhere. The missiles made contact with the main Military building, causing explosions and fire to rise from the area. Suddenly, Gun Beetles began to fly out from an opened exit from the side of the building, Mono Hawks began to fly out from the opened exit on the roof and Laser Hunters were running out.

Back in the skies, lasers were being shot at Dr. Eggman before Dr. Eggman fires his own laser from his Egg Mobile. This caused the Gun Beetles to explode from making contact with the lasers.

On the Military building grounds, Laser Hunters were firing upwards.

Back in the skies, Dr. Eggman continued dodging the lasers before firing missiles downwards.

Back on the Military building grounds, the missiles hit the Laser Hunters and this caused the Laser Hunters to explode.

Back in the skies, Dr. Eggman dodges the lasers coming from more Gun Beetles.

Back above the forest of Prison Island, Dr. Eggman laughs as he makes his way back into the forest with a bunch of laser powers aiming at him.

Back in the forest area, Dr. Eggman continues dodging the lasers and explosions. "Peekaboo!" Dr. Eggman says as he laughs.

Back on the Military building grounds, missiles made a direct hit on a couple of Gun Hunters, causing an explosion while Dr. Eggman pops out a bit.

Back in the skies, Dr. Eggman fires his laser at 3 Gun Beetles before they explode. Mono Hawks suddenly popped out and fired their lasers at Dr. Eggman while Dr. Eggman dodges.

Back on the Military building grounds, Dr. Eggman was seen flying away with Gun Beetles flying after him by a watch tower.

Back inside the isolated maximum cell, Steven was clenching his fists a few times. "Okay, I think my body's back to full strength. I'd go out and have a nice meal if I hadn't been framed" Steven says before he looks around the cell. "Hmm. Everyone now sees me as a criminal, Sonic and the others are probably thinking of a way to bust me out, Eggman and Shadow are probably plotting their next move, but what am I gonna do from here?" Steven asked, "I'm in a locked cell, the cell's inside a bubble, the cell in the bubble is surrounded by water keeping me from either swimming or drowning, security cameras are watching my every move so breaking out right now is out of the question. Then there's writing on my cell wall..." Steven says in his head before he looks surprised. Steven looks at all the writing on the wall. Steven then began to look through some of it. "Whoever wrote all this sure kept their head straight. It's almost like I was solving that math problem Chuck gave me almost a year ago. Wonder whoever wrote all this was trying to solve" Steven says as he looked through the whole writing.

11:56 Prison Island: Nearby airspace

Back in the skies, the X-Tornado and Sonic were seen making an appearance from afar.

Outside of the X-Tornado, Sonic was looking towards Prison Island while having a hand above his eyes. "So that's Prison Island, huh? I hope Steven's okay" Sonic says.

Inside the X-Tornado, Tails was looking towards Prison Island from afar. "There's no mistake about it, this must be the island. It's a secret military base that is reinforced and super strong! It's called Prison Island. I heard the news about it on satellite TV. I still can't believe that Steven was framed for destroying the military buildings or rob the museum! Wait for us, OK Steven! We're on on our way!" Tails says in his head, "Sonic, Tails, look!" Amy says off screen before she, Tails and Sonic look downwards on the left. "What's goin' on?" Tails asked.

Outside of the X-Tornado, Prison island was seen having smoke flying out from an area in the forest from above. "It looks like somebody's fighting. Could it be Steven?" Amy asked off screen, "We'd better get down there and find him immediately!" Tails says off screen before explosions were seen around the Military building. Sonic grunted as he saw this.

Back on the Military building grounds, Shadow and Rouge were reaching the sealed entrance to the building. Shadow and Rouge look at each other before nodding as sounds of landing was heard. The X-Tornado was seen transformed into the X-Cyclone with Sonic landing. Sonic gasped as he noticed Shadow. "Hey, that's..." Sonic says before he noticed Amy running towards Shadow and Rouge while giggling and reaching her hands out. "Steven!" Amy says, "Amy, wait!" Sonic says before Amy jumps towards Shadow. "Oh!" Amy says before she hugs Shadow from behind while having her eyes closed. "Oh, Steven! I'm so glad your okay!" Amy says before she moves her head a bit "Me, Sonic and Tails came here to rescue you, but you escape all by yourself!" Amy says, "Amy, get away from him!" Sonic says off screen, "Huh?" Amy says while opens her eyes before looking at Sonic. Sonic was seen taking a few steps towards Amy and Shadow while looking serious. "That's not Steven" Sonic says, "Huh? Then who...?" Amy asked before she looks at Shadow a bit. Amy then turns to the left to see Rouge looking at her while smiling. "Huh?" Amy asked while gasping before she looks back at Shadow, lets him go and gasped. Amy then takes a few steps back away from Shadow and towards Sonic. "You" Sonic says while looking at Shadow before Shadow smirks evilly a bit while turning his head a bit to Sonic. "Well if it isn't the blue hedgehog again of all people" Shadow says before Amy points at him. "You're not Steven! Who are you?!" Amy asked before she and Sonic look up. Amy takes another few steps back as she and Sonic saw Dr. Eggman descending down a bit. "I'm the one who should be asking that!" Dr. Eggman says as Sonic and Amy felt the strong breeze from the Egg Mobile. "Dr. Eggman!" Amy says before Sonic grunts.

Back at the X-Tornado, Tails gasped as he saw this.

Back on the Military building grounds, Sonic gets in his stance. "What are you doing, Eggman!?" Sonic asked, "None of your business! We're busy, so get lost, you good for nothing hedgehog!" Dr. Eggman says before looking back towards Rouge and Shadow. "Shadow. Rouge, leave it to me! I'll take care of them. You two carry out your assignments! Go!" Dr. Eggman says before he turns the Egg Mobile facing the sealed door. Dr. Eggman launches a missile at the sealed door and this caused the sealed door to explode with smoke rising. Shadow and Rouge ran through the smoke afterwards. Dr. Eggman then began to fly close to Sonic and Amy. "I'll deal with you three myself!" Dr. Eggman says before Amy takes a few steps back. "Keep away!" Amy says, "Amy, get back to the X-Tornado!" Sonic says before all the window hatches closed on the X-Cyclone while it's engines started up. "Stand back guys!" Tails says off screen before the X-Cyclone flies up. "X-Tornado... Transformation!" Tails says off screen as the X-Cyclone then transformed back into the X-Tornado.

TAILS VS. DR. EGGMAN (1)

Back at the Military building grounds, Dr. Eggman was then seen flying up in the skies with the X-Tornado following him while laughing. Sonic and Amy watched the aircrafts before Sonic turns to Amy. "Amy, you stay here. I'm gonna go after that fake hedgehog!" Sonic says before he runs inside the Military building through the explosive entrance. Amy reached her hand out towards where Sonic left. "Don't leave without me! I want to help too!" Amy says.

Back in the skies, Dr. Eggman looks towards the X-Tornado. "That fox is just a kid. He couldn't beat me in a hundred years!" Dr. Eggman.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails was seen looking forward. "I can't rescue Steven until I get Dr. Eggman out of the way. You won't get away this time, Eggman!" Tails says.

Back in the skies, Dr. Eggman goes straight up. "Shut up!" Dr. Eggman says before the X-Tornado flies pass him. "This will send Tails into a tailspin!" Dr. Eggman says before he fires lasers and missiles at the X-Tornado while the X-Tornado runs maneuvers. Suddenly, the missiles make a 180 degree turn towards the X-Tornado.

Back above the forest of Prison Island, the X-Tornado flies down before flying up again as this caused the missiles to crash and explode into the forest.

Back in the skies, Dr. Eggman sweats in panic before the X-Tornado was seen close behind him. Dr. Eggman grunts as he tried moving the Egg Mobile away from the nose of the X-Tornado as the X-Tornado was trying to touch the Egg Mobile a few times.

Back on the Military building grounds, Amy was looking at the explosive entrance that leads inside the building.

In Amy's memory, it shows Amy's point of view looking at Shadow in a filtered picture as it zooms. "He looks almost exactly like Steven, but it wasn't Steven. Who was he and what he's doing here?" Amy asked off screen.

Back to reality, Amy clenches her fists. "Don't worry, Steven! I'll..." Amy says as she makes a run towards the explosive entrance. "...Find you!" Amy says before she jumps inside the building.

Back inside the hallways of the Military building, the alarms were blaring with an ALARM sign flashing before Shadow was seen skating and making a right turn. "Shadow will speed through the building and sabotage the ammunition warehouse" Dr. Eggman says off screen.

Security Hall

At another area inside the Military building, Dr. Eggman continues off screen. "Meanwhile..." Dr. Eggman says off screen as a Gun Beetle was seen patrolling the area. "Rouge will sneak into the cargo area" Dr. Eggman says off screen as Rouge was seen climbing up a platform section before reaching it. "Once she..." Dr. Eggman says off screen as Rouge ran through the platform sections. "...Gets in, she will grab the Chaos..." Dr. Eggman says off screen as Rouge does a sky dive down an area. "...Emeralds with the help of her treasure hunting skills" Dr. Eggman says off screen before Rouge flies through a hallway.

At another hallway, there was a bunch of lasers everywhere. Rouge was then seen doing acrobatics while avoiding touching the lasers.

At another hallway, Rouge reached to a sealed yellow door.

Back in the hallway with Rouge, she looked surprised. "Ah!" Rouge says before turning to the right and turning back to the sealed yellow door. "I can smell those beautiful Emeralds here. All I have to do is break into the vault and help myself" Rouge says before she walks towards the passcode keypad on the sealed yellow door. "Ah! Kraken' the code will be a cinch" Rouge says before she types a code.

On the other side of the sealed yellow door, the yellow door opens in front of Rouge.

Back outside at the tide area of Prison Island, the Swan shaped paddle boat was seen parked and Chris and Mr. Tanaka were seen without their disguises and climbing up the dirt walls while Chris grunted. Suddenly, an explosions happens, causing a shake before Chris and Mr. Tanaka gasped off screen. Suddenly, the Egg Mobile was seen firing at the X-Tornado.

Back in the skies, the X-Tornado makes a 180 degree turn before firing it's fire power with Dr. Eggman dodging. "Take this!" Dr. Eggman says as he fires laser and makes a right turn. "He'll see. He can't outfox me!" Dr. Eggman says, "Hey, Dr. Eggman..." Decoe says from the monitor off screen before Dr. Eggman looks downwards. "...Forget him! You have more important things to do!" Decoe says from the monitor as he shook a bit before Bocoe raised his fists up. "Stay focused!" Bocoe says, "I'll have to crush Tails another day" Dr. Eggman says as the X-Tornado was seen getting close to Dr. Eggman before the Egg Mobile faces the X-Tornado.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails screams as he saw he was gonna crash into Dr. Eggman before slowing down.

Back in the skies, the X-Tornado stopped at an inch close to the Egg Mobile. Dr. Eggman then raises his fist. "Now look, Tails, just because I'm leaving doesn't mean you win! I'm letting you go for now, but I'll get you next time so don't get so lucky and be ready! This is only a Draw, you hear me? A Draw!" Dr. Eggman says before he flies away and the X-Tornado flies forward. Dr. Eggman was then seen flying away with a twinkle in the end.

Back inside the X-Tornado, Tails looked confused. "Huh?" Tails asked.

Back above Prison Island, the X-Tornado was seen flying towards Prison island. The X-Tornado then transforms back into the X-Cyclone.

Back on the Military building ground, the X-Cyclone lands in front of the explosive entrance. The X-Cyclone's front window hatch then opens. "Sonic! Amy! Huh? Sonic? Amy?" Tails asked off screen.

Back at the X-Tornado, Tails turns to the left. "Guys? Where'd they go...?" Tails asked.

Back with Dr. Eggman, he was seen flying close towards the tide area of Prison island. "I have to see what Shadow and Rouge are up to" Dr. Eggman says before he enters the forest again.

Back with Chris, he was seen by himself against the rock wall while looking up.

A flashback shows Chris' point of view looking at Steven who was about to enter the chopper in Downhill Street before waving in a filtered picture.

Back to reality, Chris continued looking up. "Steven...!" Chris says.

Back inside the Isolated Maximum security cell, Steven continued looking through the writing while placing his fingers through areas. "These markings are a sign of some sort of project planning. Could the person who wrote all this be the one who created Shadow...? It's gotta be. It would have to take someone with a high I.Q to plan all this. Much like Eggman. If that's true, who was that person? Hmm... Wait a minute..." Steven says.

A flashback shows Shadow looking down at Sonic and Steven at Downhill Street. "Many years ago, Professor Gerald Robotnik endowed me with the power of Chaos Control. I am the single and most powerful being known as the world's ultimate life form in existence" Shadow says.

Back to reality, Steven looked a bit surprised. "Gerald Robotnik..." Steven says before looking back at the writing. "Who ever this Gerald is must have planned on creating Shadow in this one cell. That's gotta be! But wait, if he planned all this, why did he do it here? There's no way G.U.N would let someone do all this without question. So then why was Gerald arrested? Why did he create Shadow? Or better yet... How does he know Chaos Control? Shadow said he was given Chaos Control many years ago, but how could that be? Me, my friends and the Chaos Emeralds are from a totally different world. It's not possible Gerald could have discovered about Chaos Control. Then again how was it possible for him then...? Who exactly are you, Gerald Robotnik...?" Steven asked before he spotted something on the cell wall. Steven noticed a written timer that said 00:27:53:00. "Huh? I didn't even notice those numbers. What is that?" Steven asked before he looked at the written timer closely. "...27 minutes and 53 seconds... What does that mean?" Steven asked as he continued looking at the written timer.

R-1/A FLYING DOG

Back with Rouge, she was seen walking out the yellow door room with Red and Cyan Chaos Emeralds in her hands as they sparkled. Roue then walks up towards another sealed yellow door. "Aha!" Rouge says.

With Shadow, he was seen setting the detonator device on a pack of dynamite packs from the other side of the cell. The device was also labeled "EGGMAN BOMBOM". "Doctor, I'm in position and the detonator is set and ready to go, but I need to know how long to set the timer for" Shadow says, "Good work, Shadow, but I've just encountered an unexpected delay on my end!" Dr. Eggman says from Shadow's watch off screen.

Back with Rouge, she was holding a radio that was also linked with to Dr. Eggman. "We don't have anymore time to waste so set detonator to go off in exactly 15 minutes!" Dr. Eggman says from the radio off screen, "Yes, Doctor" Shadow says from the radio off screen, "Will that be enough time for you, Rouge?" Dr. Eggman asked from the radio off screen before Rouge brings the radio close to her face. "I can be out of here in a pretty five minutes, easy" Rouge says.

Back with Shadow, Dr. Eggman continued off screen. "All right, then, let's split the difference and set the detonator for ten minutes! Let's go, Rouge!" Dr. Eggman says, "Right, Doctor" Shadow says before he pressed his finger on the detonator and the detonator's timer was now set to go off at 10:00 while it beeped.

With Amy, she was seen running up to an elevator bridge.

Back inside the isolated maximum security cell, Steven was still looking at the writing until he heard noises. "Huh? What's that noise?" Steven asked before he turns towards where the source of the noises were slowly coming from. Steven noticed Amy inside the elevating tunnel. "Amy? What is she doing here?" Steven asked.

Back with Amy, the tunnel was slowly elevating towards the isolated maximum circuitry cell.

Back inside the isolated maximum security cell, the elevator doors open and Amy goes up to Steven's cell while having her eyes closed and posing. "Hi, Steven! Have no fear, Amy Rose is here, making her graceful entrance!" Amy says before Steven chuckles a bit. "Yeah, I can see that. Bravo" Steven as he clapped a bit. "Thank you, Steven! Bet you're surprised to see me!" Amy says, "Yeah, actually. What are you even doing here?" Steven asked, "I rushed here to rescue you from this awful island, silly! You ready to go?" Amy asked, "I... I guess. This is almost really similar to when I was gonna save you and Lily back at the Egg Carrier" Steven says, "Yep! Funny how role reversal plays out!" Amy says before Steven chuckles a bit. "I suppose so, but anyway, how'd you even get here by yourself? The guards around this place would have noticed someone entering this place" Steven says, "Well if you gotta know... I caught a ride with Sonic and Tails!" Amy says, "Sonic and Tails? They're here too?" Steven asked, "Yep! We came to bust you outta of this place, so let's go!" Amy says.

Back outside the isolated maximum security cell, the alarm was about to go off. "Intruder alert!" a man on PA says off screen.

Back inside the isolated maximum security cell, Steven heard the man on the PA while looking up. "Uh oh" Steven says, "What's wrong?" Amy asked, "We've got company on our way" Steven says.

At another hallway, a door was closing to go on lockdown. "Intruder alert!" the man on PA says off screen as three more doors closed.

Inside the hanger, a guard speaks off screen. "Gold Beetle..." a guard says off screen as special G.U.N Beetles known as Gold Beetles fly up. "...Go bug those bozos!" the guard says off screen before all the Gold Beetles suddenly disappear. "Flying Dog, sniff 'em out!" The man on the speaker says a special combat walker known as R-1/A Flying Dog was seen flying forward to the readers.

In another hallway, R-1/A Flying Dog flew through.

Back inside the security room, Howard laughs. "The guard robot Flying Dog is the ultimate combat security robot, specially designed to fetch any trespasser and is a lot better than Hot Shot" Howard says before he stands up. "Not only is Flying Dog more durable..."Howard says before he reached his arms out forward. "...But it's flight speed and attack..." Howard says before he raises his right arm up a bit. "...Power have also been improved!" Howard says before the Security guard looks at him. "Who are you explaining this to?" the Security guard asked before Howard clenches his fist. "It's weapons are the Vulcan cannon, homing missiles and energy bombs!" Howard says before he puts his hands on his hips and laughs.

Back with Shadow, he was seen skating through the hallways of the Military building. Suddenly, Sonic jumps down in front of Shadow, causing Shadow to stop. "Shadow, this is it! I want answers! Who are ya? And what are you up to?" Sonic asked off screen before Shadow smirks evilly. "You'll find out" Shadow says before he and Sonic charge forward at each other. Sonic and Shadow were seen homing attacking against each other.

Back inside the isolated maximum security cell, Amy takes out her Piko Piko Hammer. "I'll open your cell now. You better step back, Steven, I wouldn't want you to get in trouble again" Amy says before Steven backs away a bit. "Well I don't know about getting in trouble again. I'm kinda already in trouble as it is" Steven says, "Well, don't you worry because I'll make sure that doesn't happen anyway!" Amy says until suddenly, a Gold Beetle appears from behind her. Steven then points at the Gold Beetle "Amy, behind you!" Steven says, "Huh?" Amy asked as she turns around and saw the Gold Beetle. Amy immediately starting bonking the Gold Beetle with her Piko Piko Hammer. "Don't you know it's rude to show up someplace uninvited?" Amy asked before she stopped as the Gold Beetle looked really dented on the right side. "And don't..." Amy says before the Gold Beetle tumbles on the ground. "...Bother me at such an important time!" Amy says before Steven looked surprised. "Wow, Amy. That was awesome!" Steven says before Amy looks at him. "Now I'm going to bash down the bars of your cell, Steven" Amy says before Steven brings his hands forward. "Wait, Amy, you don't have to do that! It's fine" Steven says, "Don't worry, Steven, once we set you free, we'll find a way to prove your innocent" Amy says as she positions her Piko Piko Hammer. "But, Amy, it's gonna take..."Steven says as Amy lowers her position a bit. "...More than just setting me free to prove the public innocent" Steven says, "What are you talking about? We could just keep you in hiding until everything calms down" Amy asked, "Yes, but ever since this whole event happened, I've been using the time to figure out the reason on why this is all happening and I've done a lot ever since my stay here" Steven says, "Really? What have you learned?" Amy asked, "Well I've already learned that the reason I'm in here is because there's another Hedgehog people have been mistaken me for because of our similar appearances" Steven says, "Another Hedgehog?" Amy asked.

Back to reality, Amy gasped before looking back at Steven. "You mean that black hedgehog I thought was you?" Amy asked before Steven looked a bit surprised. "Yes, actually! Do you know where he is, Amy?" Steven asked, "You really wanna know?" Amy asked, "Uh huh!" Steven says before Amy brings her face closer a bit. "If I tell you, will you do something for me?" Amy asked, "Well what is it?" Steven asked, "After we take care of everything, can you try to convince Sonic to go on a date with me?" Amy asked, "Oh, I don't know if I can do that" Steven says off screen before Amy pouts. "Hmm, why not?" Amy asked, "Because it's not my place if you want to go on a date with him. It's Sonic place if he wants to take you on a date or not and I can't just force him to go if he doesn't want to" Steven says before Amy turns away and looks up. "I was hoping you could talk some sense into him since you two are really close friends after all"Amy says before Steven chuckles nervously while having his eyes closed. "Heh heh. Sorry" Steven says before Amy closes her eyes. "But since you make a fair point after all, I'll tell you that when Sonic and Tails and I landed here, we saw a black hedgehog near the entrance..." Amy says before Steven opened his eyes and looked serious. "...Being ordered around by Dr. Eggman" Amy says, "So Eggman and Shadow are planning something together. I knew it!" Steven says, "Shadow? That's the name of that black Hedgehog?" Amy asked, "Uh huh. I learned after my first battle with him last night" Steven says, "You fought him? Did you win?" Amy asked, "No, he had the better advantage when it came to power. He's posses with Chaos energy" Steven says, "Chaos energy? How's that even possible?" Amy asked, "I'll explain more later on, but right now we've gotta get outta here" Steven says before he digs into his prison outfit pocket. Amy then noticed the writing on the cell wall. "Have you been writing on the wall?" Amy asked, "No, that writing's been there already and it's almost related to why all this is happening. Here" Steven says before he shows Amy a G.U.N Security Card. "What's that?" Amy asked, "It's a Security Card I sneakingly took from one of the Officers" Steven says.

A flashback shows Steven being escorted in the halls by two Officers. Suddenly, another Officer was walking towards where Steven and the two Officers were with the G.U.N Security card half slipping out of the pocket. Steven saw this and looks up to the two Officers who were too distracted while looking forward. Once the other officer was about to walk pass Steven and the two Officer, Steven used his stealth and took the Security Card from the other Officer's pocket and put it in his Prison Outfit pocket.

Back to reality, Amy takes the G.U.N Security Card. "What do I do with this?" Amy asked, "Just swipe it at that Security Control panel on your right and the cell will open" Steven says off screen as Amy saw the Security Control Panel. Amy then walks towards the Secuirty Control panel. "This is it, right?" Amy asked, "Yep. That's it. Just swipe it downwards and we're good to go" Steven says. Amy swipes the G.U.N Security Card on the Security Control panel and this caused green and red lights to light up with a beep. Suddenly, the cell door slowly opens up and Steven walks out. Steven then raised his arms out. "Woo hoo! Freedom!" Steven says before Amy laughs a bit. Steven then walks up to Amy. "Alright, Amy. How about we put that Piko Piko Hammer to the Ultimate Prison Breakout Test?" Steven asked before Amy brings her Piko Piko Hammer up. "Sure! Let's go!" Amy says.

From the other side of the bridged elevator door, three big dents were made and this caused the door to crash on the ground with Steven and Amy in front. "Nice job, Amy!" Steven says before Amy giggles with her eyes closed.

Back in the security room, Howard noticed this. "Steven's out!" Howard says.

Back outside of Prison Island, the alarms blare off again.

Back inside the Military building, the alarm continued blaring as Sonic and Shadow continued homing attacking each other. After a few seconds, Sonic and Shadow ran in the halls. "I'll lead him outside!" Sonic says in his head as and Shadow continued running in the halls.

Back with Chris near the tide area of Prison Island, he hears the alarms blaring while grunting. "Now what?" Chris asked as he takes another climb up.

A flashback shows Chris' point of view looking at Mr. Tanaka. "Chris, it is too dangerous. You stay here, and I will find Steven" Mr. Tanaka says.

Back to reality, Chris closes his eyes for a bit before opening them again. "Sorry, Mr. Tanaka. I can't stay behind if Steven's in danger!" Chris says before he continues climbing up.

In another hallway of the Military building, Steven held Amy bridal style and ran as the doors behind them were going on lockdown while Amy had her eyes closed. "Hang on, Amy! We're almost there!" Steven says.

Back outside of the Military building, Steven and Amy made it out and stopped in front of Mr. Tanaka, Tails and the X-Cyclone. "Oh! Hey, hey, guys! Long time no see" Steven says before Mr. Tanaka bows while having his eyes closed, placing his right hand on his side. "I'm relieved to see you're safe, Steven, and Mr. Chris will be, too" Mr. Tanaka says, "Chris is here too, Mr. Tanaka?" Steven asked before Mr. Tanaka stands up straight and opens his eyes. "Yes. He is now waiting at the paddle boat we arrived in. Shall we go?" Mr. Tanaka asked before Amy runs up to him. "Hi, Tanaka!" Amy says as she pats Mr. Tanaka's shoulder before landing, waved and having her eyes closed. "Long time no see! How's everything going with Ella and Chris?" Amy asked, "Can't we catch up on how our friends are doing later, Amy? We've gotta find Sonic and get out of here!" Tails says, "I'll go look for him. You guys go get Chris and get the X-Tornado ready to get outta here" Steven says before Amy turns to him. "Be careful" Amy says, "Okay!" Steven says before he runs towards the side of the Military building.

With Steven, he was seen running. "If Amy said was true that Shadow and Eggman are here, then it's likely Sonic went after Shadow. Alright. I'll find them and we'll settle things here!" Steven says before he jumps up and descends down towards the forest.

Back with Rouge, she was seen holding the Purple Chaos Emerald in the room. "Lovely!" Rouge says before R-1/A Flying Dog suddenly makes it's appearance from outside the room. Rouge turns her head a bit as she noticed it. "Hello there! I hope you didn't come here to get my emeralds back" Rouge says.

R-1/A FLYING DOG: Multirole Attacker

Back in the room with Rouge, she continued looking at R-1/A Flying Dog. "This is Flying Dog to Headquarters. Intruder located entering security vault. Security units, proceed to level five. Preparing to attack!" R-1/A Flying Dog says, "Copy that!" a woman says from the radio off screen before Rouge runs. R-1/A Flying Dog flies in the room and began to fire it's lasers towards Rouge. Rouge ran and avoided the lasers before jumping up to a wall and charge at R-1/A Flying Dog and kicks it. Rouge lands on the ground before R-1/A activates it's upper missiles and launches them towards Rouge. Rouge runs away from the explosions before making another jump at the wall. Rouge charges at F-1/A Flying Dog again and kicks one of its upper missile launchers. This caused a dent on the missile launcher. "This is Flying Dog to Headquarters! Taken heavy damage! Close the security vault!" R-1/A Flying Dog says before Rouge screws down on it. This caused the missile launcher to rip off before Rouge lands on the ground.

Back where the detonator device was, it was on 05:13 and it continued counting down as it beeped.

Back with Steven, he was seen in the forest while looking around. "Hmm... Now where could they be...?" Steven asked. Suddenly from behind, Sonic and Shadow were seen landing on the ground of the forest before running off in a distance. "Hmm?" Steven asked before he turns around and saw Sonic and Shadow running off. "There!" Steven says before he runs in Sonic and Shadow's direction.

Back with Sonic and Shadow, they continued running. Suddenly, another set of running footsteps were heard. Shadow grunts before he jumps forward. Sonic got caught by surprised before he turns to the right to see Steven running next to him. "Steven!" Sonic says before he skids to a stop along with Steven. Sonic then looks at Steven. "Glad to see you're okay, buddy. I'm guessing Amy busted you out" Sonic says, "You got that right, Sonic. I was lucky enough to get out of there before the whole place went on lockdown" Steven says. Suddenly, Shadow lands across from Sonic and Steven while looking at them. Sonic and Steven turn to Shadow and glare at him with Shadow doing them same with Sonic and Steven. Shadow then looks at Steven. "How did you escape?" Shadow asked, "That's none of your business" Steven says before Shadow smirked evilly. "Fair enough. I'll ask another question. What exactly do you think you're doing here anyway?" Shadow asked, "Isn't that obvious? I came here to settle the score with you, Shadow" Steven says before Shadow chuckles evilly. "Let me get this straight. You're telling me that after the short amount of time of recovery from your defeat last night, you haven't learned your lesson yet?" Shadow asked, "Yeah and you better believe it!" Steven says, "You actually think you can win this time?" Shadow asked, "That's right! You said we'd settle the score once I'm at my very best and here I am! Fully recovered and ready to take anything you can throw at us!" Steven says before Shadow clenched his fist. "Steven... I would think you would have a better sense than that" Shadow says, "Then maybe you should think that over, faker" Sonic says, "Faker? I think we already know who's the fake Hedgehog around here, Sonic" Shadow says, "It's not about what you think, it's about what you know who your opponent is and what they're capable of. And last night should have given you a clue on who you're really up against" Steven says. Shadow closes his eyes and chuckles. "You think that after last night, I shouldn't underestimate you?" Shadow asked, "What are you talking about?" Sonic asked before Shadow crosses his arms and opens his eyes while still chuckling. "You two will never learn, will you?" Shadow says before he looks at Steven. "It's obvious you don't know the full-extent of your own power and I should fear you because of that?" Shadow asked while Steven stayed silent. "That's what I thought. What's the point in fighting someone who doesn't have experience with their true potential. It'd be a waste of time if you ask me. Face it, you won't last a minute in a desperate situation if that's the way it is with you" Shadow says off screen while Steven continued to stay silent and Sonic glaring at Shadow. "Now I it's time I put you both in your place so you can see the real picture" Shadow says before Steven grunted. "Go ahead and try! Just because you think you're an better experienced fighter, doesn't mean we can't win" Steven says off screen while Sonic looks at him a bit. "Steven..." Sonic says, "You may have power, but we've got a strategy" Steven says, "Then we'll see how long your strategy keeps you alive. Come on, are you two ready? I guess you're all talk then? In that case, allow me to tell you something before you both die... None of you we're even good enough to be my fake!" Shadow says before Sonic and Steven get in their fighting positions. "That's it! I'll make you eat those words! Now let's do this!" Sonic says.

SONIC & STEVEN VS. SHADOW (1)

Back in the forest, Shadow charges forward towards Sonic and Steven. Sonic and Steven quickly reacted and jumped back while splitting up. Sonic and Steven land on the ground before noticing Shadow wasn't around. "Huh? Where'd he go?" Sonic asked, "He must have used Chaos Control" Steven says as and Sonic continued looking around. "...Watch your back" Shadow says off screen before Sonic and Steven gasped surprised. Suddenly, Shadow quickly appeared and kicked Sonic and Steven by the backs. Sonic and Steven grunted before quickly getting back up. Shadow chuckles again. "There's no time to play games anymore. You both won't even get the chance" Shadow says before Steven grunted. "This guy is brutal!" Steven says in his head, "Oh yeah? Well you're not gonna get away this time! When there's a will, there's a way!" Sonic says before he and Shadow charge forward at each other. This caused their own blurs to be seen from above. Sonic and Shadow grunted as they continued ramming into each other before Sonic lost his balance and flies off. Steven charges at Shadow and both their blurs were also seen from above. Sonic grabs on a tree branch and does a couple of front flips before landing on the branch and jumping off it. Shadow was seen punching Steven towards the ground before he was suddenly kicked in the face by Sonic. This caused Shadow to crash on the ground before quickly jumping out of the way from Sonic's kick. Sonic then goes after Shadow again with Steven following shortly.

Back with Rouge, she continued stomping on R-1/A Flying Dog from above and this caused it's other missile launcher to rip off. Rouge stomped on R-1/A Flying Dog three times before landing on the ground. "It's just not possible! Flying Dog can't be destroyed!" R-1/A Flying Dog says before Rouge jumps up and kicks R-1/A Flying Dog against the wall. This caused R-1/Flying Dog to crash on the ground and explode.

Outside of the room Rouge and R-1/A Flying battled, the explosion continued before the yellow door locks down.

Back inside the room, smoke was everywhere and Rouge turns around as she noticed the yellow door close. Rouge goes up to the door and sighs while having her eyes closed and looking disappointed. "And just when things were going so well" Rouge says before she opens her eyes and looks to the right up.

Back where the detonator device was, it was on 03:00 and it continued counting down as it beeped.

Back outside of Prison Island, the man on the PA speaks off screen. "Red alert! A time bomb has been detected in the security area! All personnel, begin emergency evacuation immediately! Repeat! All personnel, begin emergency evacuation immediately!" the man on the PA says from the speakers off screen.

Back at the tide area, Mr. Tanaka was seen leaning against the rock wall while looking around as the Swan shaped paddle boat was still sitting in the ocean. "Mr. Chris! Mr. Chris! Where are you!?" Mr. Tanaka asked.

On the edge of Prison Island, Tails and Amy looked at Mr. Tanaka who climbed back up. "He's missing! He must be on the island somewhere!" Mr. Tanaka says, "Huh?" Amy and Tails asked at the same time before Mr. Tanaka slowly climbs all the way up. "I must go and find Mr. Chris. Fast!" Mr. Tanaka says before he grunts and gets on his feet and runs through the forest with Amy and Tails looking at him. "Mr. Chris!" Mr. Tanaka says off screen before Tails and Amy follow him.

At the chopper landing zone, 4 choppers were seen with their propellers running along with a bunch of security guards standing close to one of them. The security guards eventually make their way inside one chopper as two more began to fly off.

Back in the skies, the 4 choppers were then seen flying off and away from Prison Island.

Back in the forest of Prison Island, a tree dented before Sonic, Shadow and Steven crash on the ground. Sonic, Shadow and Steven quickly stand up and punch, kick and dodge each others with Sonic and Steven across from Shadow while grunting. "Can't you both see?! You're both way out of my league! I'm the coolest!" Shadow says while Sonic grunted. "Oh yeah!? Bring it on!" Sonic says, "Come on!" Steven says in his head as this kept on. After a few seconds, Sonic, Shadow and Steven stopped attacking and ran with Sonic on the right, Shadow in the middle and Steven on the left. Suddenly, Shadow's watched beeped. "Come in, Shadow! Shadow, do you read me? This is Rouge! I have a small problem on my end..." Rouge says from the watch off screen.

Back in the room Rouge was in, she was seen sitting against the closed door while talking on the radio as the radio was letting out sounds of fighting between Sonic, Shadow and Steven. "I'm sorta trapped inside the locked safe along with the Chaos Emeralds! There's no way to open it from in here, so I'm stuck. I've failed to call myself a treasure hunter now" Rouge says before she closes her eyes. "And?" Shadow asked off screen, "Huh?" Rouge asked while opening her eyes as sounds of fighting was heard from the radio. "What do you want?" Shadow asked from the radio off screen, ""What do I want?" What kind of response is that?" Rouge asked before the sounds of fighting continue on the radio. Rouge then smiles a bit. "So you're just going to abandon me like this?" Rouge asked.

Back in the forest of Prison Island, Shadow was seen flying with his watch close to his mouth. "Figure it out yourself!" Shadow says before Sonic elbow punches him to the ground. Shadow quickly gets back up and punches Sonic on the face with Sonic crashing on the ground. Steven was about to punch Shadow, but Shadow quickly does a spin and kicks Steven away with Steven grunting. Shadow lands and looks at Steven. "Oh. I see. So you really are not just talk" Shadow says before Steven stands up. "This ain't over yet!" Steven says as he charges forward again.

Back with Rouge, she stands up while putting the radio away. "Ah!" Rouge says before she clenched her fist. "I'm so stupid! I should've known not to count on that shady character for help!" Rouge says before she backs away from the door and tries to kick it open a couple of times.

Back with Chris, he was running in the forest while panting. Chris stops and looks around. "Steven...!" Chris says before running again.

Back with Rouge, she got tired and gave up while sighing, leaning against the wall and having her eyes closed. "I'm gonna die! And worse than that, I'm gonna die along with three Chaos Emeralds, too!" Rouge says.

Back where the detonator device was, it was on 2:00 and it continued counting down as it beeped.

Back with Dr. Eggman, he was seen in the forest. "Shadow, come in now! Shadow!" Dr. Eggman says.

Back in the forest with Sonic, Shadow and Steven, they continued ramming into each other with their blurs being seen. Sonic throws a punch forward at Shadow while grunting and this caused Shadow to get pushed back while grunting as well. Steven was about to attack from behind, but Shadow does a backflip. Suddenly, Steven grabs one of Shadow's wrists and slams him on the ground. Steven jumps back to Sonic while panting a bit. Sonic then looks at Steven. "Hey, are you okay, Steven?" Sonic asked, "I'm fine..." Steven says. Shadow then slowly stand sup while rubbing his face. "Darn... Not bad for an imposter" Shadow says while Sonic and Steven grunted.

Green Forest

Back in the forest with Sonic, Shadow and Steven, a beep was heard from Shadow's watch. "Shadow! Where are you? What are you doing? That bomb will go off any..." Dr. Eggman says from the watch off screen before Shadow looks at the watch with Sonic and Steven listening from across. "...Second! You have to hurry and get off the island right now now or you're going to be blown sky high soon along with the island! Do you read me?" Dr. Eggman asked from the watch off screen before Sonic and Steven looked shock with Sonic jumping back a bit. "Blows up!? Oh, no!" Sonic says, "How long do we got!?" Steven asked, "There's less then two minutes left! I'm not waiting for you and Rouge any longer! You two are on your own! Bye!" Dr. Eggman says from the watch off screen, "Wait. Rouge is here too...? Then where...?" Steven says in his head before Sonic turns around. "We have to evacuate Amy, Tails, Chris and Mr. Tanaka off the island right away!" Sonic says before he turns to Steven. "Let's go, Steven!" Sonic says before Steven turns to him. "You go on ahead, Sonic! I'll meet you back" Steven says, "Huh!? Steven, we've gotta get outta here right now!" Sonic says, "I know, but I've got something to take care of! I promise this will only be for a little bit! Now please! Go! Get everyone else outta here!" Steven says. After a few seconds, Sonic sighs. "Alright, buddy. I'm gonna go, but Steven, please make this quick" Sonic says before Steven smiles. "No problem" Steven says. Sonic eventually ran off from Steven and Shadow. Steven turns to Shadow while looking serious. "Where's Rouge?" Steven asked before Shadow turns away from Steven. "I've got no time to talk with the likes of you" Shadow says, "Well that's too bad cause I ain't leavin'. Now where is she? if Eggman mentioned her, then it's obvious she's here on the island too. Now tell me. Where... Is... Rouge, Shadow?" Steven asked while Shadow stayed silent. From above Shadow and Steven, Dr. Eggman was seen flying over the forest with Shadow looking. Steven eventually looked up and saw Dr. Eggman. "Eggman!" Steven says. Suddenly a bit distance from Shadow and Steven from behind, Chris appeared and saw Shadow and Steven. Chris then runs towards Steven happily. "I found him! It's Steven! Steven! Steven!" Chris says in his head as he got closer to Steven. Chris stopped and gasped as he noticed Shadow too. "Wait. It's that other Hedgehog too!" Chris says in his head, "If you're not gonna tell me where she is, then I'll just go look for her myself! Matter of fact, use your wrist communicator to call her! Call her and ask her where she is!" Steven says off screen before Shadow grunts. Shadow looks forward and takes a couple of steps forward.

An image then shows the blonde woman from before smiling at the readers in a pink background with rings and sparkles around. "Maria!" Shadow says in his head.

Back to reality, Shadow looks down a bit.

Another image then shows Rouge still sitting, holding the Red, Purple, Cyan Chaos Emeralds and the radio while leaning against the sealed door.

Back to reality, the images kept playing in repeat until Shadow clenched his fists. Steven then noticed this with a bit of confusion. "Why does he suddenly look tense?" Steven asked in his head, "Ah... Shoot. Troublemaker!" Shadow says before he clicks on his watch.

Back with Rouge, she was seen still seen sitting, holding the Red, Purple, Cyan Chaos Emeralds and the radio while still leaning against the sealed door. "When I found three Emeralds, I thought this was my lucky day!" Rouge says, "Rouge, this is Shadow. Come in!" Shadow says from the radio off screen before Rouge brings the radio close to her face happily. "I'm here, Shadow!" Rouge says, "Do you still have the Chaos Emeralds?" Shadow asked from the radio off screen before Rouge looks at the Chaos Emeralds she was holding. "Of course I still have them!" Rouge says before she looks back at the radio. "I'll be right there to pick them up" Shadow says from the radio off screen before Rouge sighs in shock. Rouge then looks away from the radio. "He's coming for the Chaos Emeralds, but what about me?" Rouge asked.

Back in the forest, Chris hid behind a tree and eavesdrop on Shadow and Steven while Shadow continued talking to his watch. "Dr Eggman, I'm going back in to pick up the Chaos Emeralds for you" Shadow says before Chris gasped. Shadow looks at his watch and saw the timer from the detonator and the detonator was seen a bit visible at the same time on scree. Both the detonator and the watch show 01:00 on them as it continued counting down and beeped. Steven noticed this and looked a bit nervous. "Only 1 minute left. Shadow better go get Rouge before it's too late" Steven says in his head before he turns around and was about to run off. "Now I think it's time that I get outta-" Steven says in his head before he was suddenly cut off with a thud. This caused Steven to close his eyes and grunt before collapsing on the ground. It revealed that Shadow knocked Steven out with his fist against Steven's head. Chris silently gasped as he saw this. "Steven!" Chris says in his head. Shadow then puts his fist down. "Consider this as another lesson to learn" Shadow says before he kicks Steven a small distant away. "Never trust anyone including your enemies, you fool" Shadow says before he looks up.

Back to the image that shows the blonde woman in the pink background, she speaks. "Shadow, promise me please" the blonde woman says.

Back to reality, Shadow talks in his head. "Yes, Maria. I'll get revenge on everyone and avenge you!" Shadow says in his head before he looks to the left at Steven. "...What a waste" Shadow says in his head before he faces forward. "Chaos Control!" Shadow says as he faces forward with his eyes closed and holding the Green Chaos Emerald up as it glowed brightly. Chris then comes out of hiding and runs towards Shadow. "Shadow! He's the one they want! Now I can prove Steven's innocent!" Chris says in his head until Mr. Tanaka was seen running towards him from afar. "Chris, wait!" Mr. Tanaka says before Shadow opens his eyes and looks at Chris who grabs him while grunting. Suddenly, Shadow and Chris disappear before Mr. Tanaka stopped as he saw this. "Chris?" Mr. Tanaka asked before he falls to his knees and sighs sadly. "He is gone...!" Mr. Tanaka says before he puts his hands on his head, closes his eyes, faces downward and cries. Suddenly, Sonic ran around Mr. Tanaka before grabbing him and running off. What no one didn't notice was that Steven was still unconscious on the ground.

Back with Rouge, she continued looking at the Chaos Emeralds until a bright light appears above her. "Oh!" Rouge says before Chris and Shadow appeared with them looking at Rouge while Chris held Shadow's arm. "Shadow...!" Rouge says before Shadow pushes Chris off his arm and grabs the Chaos Emeralds from Rouge at a fast pace. Chris crashes on the ground while groaning while Rouge looked at him in shock. Rouge looks back at her hands to see the Chaos Emeralds weren't there anymore before exclaiming. "What the..." Rouge says.

Back where the detonator is, it was now on 00:10 before it turned red and made a 10 second countdown as it beeped.

Back in the room, Shadow takes a couple of steps back while holding the Red, Cyan and Purple Chaos Emeralds in his left hand and holding up the Green Chaos Emerald in his right hand. Shadow then raises the Green Chaos Emerald up while looking up a bit. "Chaos-!" Shadow says before Rouge stands up and points at Chris while still looking at Shadow. "Hey, hold it, Shadow. You're not gonna leave this boy behind!" Rouge says as Chris was on his knees while holding his right hand up a bit towards Shadow. "It doesn't matter to me..." Shadow says before he looks at Chris. "...What happens to him" Shadow says before Chris stands up while grunting with Rouge looking at him in shock. "Hold on! My friend got arrested 'cause he was mistaken for you and you just knocked him out!" Chris says before he takes a step forward towards Shadow. "We have to help him get off the island!" Chris says as Shadow stared at him. "Please! Will you help me? I have to rescue Steven somehow!" Chris says before he takes another step forward to Shadow. Rouge gasped as she heard this. "Is he talking about Steven? Then is he..." Rouge says before she looks at Chris and Shadow. "He's one of my dear friends! He would rescue you if it was the other way around! You have to help him! Please!" Chris says.

Suddenly, the blonde woman made an appearance over Chris in Shadow's eyes. "Please, Shadow?" the blonde woman asked.

Back to reality, Shadow looked a bit surprised. "Maria...!" Shadow says in his head.

Outside over Prison Island, the detonator was seen almost reach to 0 seconds over Prison Island a bit.

Back in the forest of Prison Island, Steven was seen slowly twitching and groaning while slowly opening his eyes.

Back in the room, Shadow looks at the Green Chaos Emerald. "Chaos Control!" Shadow says before the Green Chaos Emerald glowed with him, Rouge and Chris getting caught in it.

Back in the forest of Prison Island, Steven slowly stands on one knee while holding his head while still groaning. "Ow... What a cheap shot..." Steven says.

Back to where the detonator is, it reached 0 with a beep.

Back outside over Prison Island, there was a shake before explosions blew over the Military building, the forest and everywhere on the island 1 by 1.

Back in the forest of Prison Island, the ground shook and this caused Steven to jump before standing up fast. Steven looks up to see explosions and smoke rising from afar before gasping and facing forward. "Oh no! Prison Island is exploding!" Steven says before a loud explosion goes off off screen and this caused a heavy vibration. "Whoa!" Steven says while tumbling and falls on the ground before holding on to the grass. Steven looks forward and saw the forest was slowly getting caught on fire and towards where he is. "Shoot! I've gotta get outta here fast!" Steven says before he stands up and runs off. As Steven ran through the forest, he heard the explosions, he felt the vibrations, he saw the areas being filled with fire and smoke as well as areas breaking apart. "Please let there be enough time!" Steven says in his head as he panted, sweated and coughed as he ran, jumped, skidded and drifted. "Ugh! Where's the edge!?" Steven asked in his head. Suddenly, sparks of flames fly out and this caused Steven to shield himself. As this happened, Steven began to show signs of burned marks all over his Prison Outfit, fur and gloves. Steven suddenly noticed his Prison shirt was caught on fire before taking it off quickly. As Steven continued running, the fire was spreading faster from behind. Suddenly, the ocean was slowly being seen. "Yes! Almost there...!" Steven says in his head. Suddenly, another explosion and vibration happens and this caused Steven to trip and fall before shouting in pain. Steven crashes on the ground before he noticed that his ankle was messed up. "Oh come on...!" Steven says before he looks back at the incoming flames. Steven grunted and began to crawl towards the edge.

At the edge of Prison Island, black smoke was seen rising while the shaking continues. Steven slowly appeared before looking around. Steven then noticed the Swan shaped paddle boat before taking a deep breath and climb down the dirt wall slowly. Suddenly, another explosion and vibration goes off and this a bunch of debris to fly out and drop in the ocean. Steven held on to the dirt wall before the dirt wall suddenly began to break down from the top and bottom. Steven saw that he was hanging on the edge of tomorrow. Steven looked up and down before looking at the Swan shaped paddle boat. "Oh this is gonna hurt so bad!" Steven says before he slowly lets go and began to drop down. Steven hits the Swan shaped paddle boat while yelling. After a few seconds, Steven quickly recovers a bit and climbs inside the Swan shaped paddle boat.

Back inside the Swan shaped Paddle boat, Steven looked around before noticing the pedals. "Of all things..." Steven says before another explosion and vibration was felt. Steven looked and saw the flames were beginning to fall out of Prison Island. Steven quickly slides down from the seat and places his hands on the pedals. Steven quickly began peddling the Swan shaped Paddle boat.

Back outside of the Swan shaped Paddle boat, it began to swim away from Prison Island. Suddenly, another explosion and vibration happened and this caused the flames around Prison Island began to flow everywhere along with a mushroom flame appearing. Suddenly, a big ocean wave crashes towards the readers. Back outside of the Swan shaped Paddle boat, Steven turns around before quickly lowering his head as the flames and the big ocean wave cast over the whole Swan shaped paddle boat. The huge ocean wave eventually crashes towards the readers and the X-Tornado was seen flying towards the readers as well.

Back at the ocean, the sky was orange as there was black smoke rising upwards. Dr. Eggman was seen looking at the destroyed of what used to be Prison Island from afar. After a few seconds, he grunts before flying away.

Back to where Prison Island used to be, the X-Tornado was seen flying away from the area.

Inside the X-Tornado, Sonic, Amy, Tails and Mr. Tanaka were looking down at the right while Mr. Tanaka whimpered. Sonic then placed his hand on the glass. "Steven..." Sonic says in his head.

Back at the ocean, the black smoke continues to rise into the orange sky from afar. "Mr. Chris! Oh! Mr. Chris!" Mr. Tanaka says off screen as both Chris and Steven's sudden disappearance was gonna be a lot for everyone to take in.

Shining Road (光る道, Hikaru michi)

Clips were playing from the next Chapter/Episode. "Hey! It's me, Steven the Hedgehog! As I: The Neutral was able to somehow escape and survive Prison Island's destruction, I've decided to lay low and be silent from everyone and figure out what Eggman and Shadow are up to on my own. It won't be easy, but it's the only way I'll be able to stop Eggman and Shadow without drawing too much attention to myself from the public. Meanwhile with the Hero Side: Sonic and everyone else were gonna try to stop Eggman as well as find me and Chris. And finally with the Dark Side: Chris managed to escape Prison Island thanks to Shadow's Chaos Control along with Rouge and they were suddenly teleported to a Space Station called Space Colony ARK. I found out after Earth received a message clip from Eggman showing the ARK's weapon which is known as the "Eclipse Cannon" blow up almost half the Moon! Because of this, Earth only has 24 hours to surrender to Eggman or else it'll be blown to space dust. I don't know what's really going on up there, but I have to hurry and figure this all out before Earth is doomed again! Next time on Sonic X: Steven the Hedgehog!
