Sookie shoots at the wolf but Eric receives the ball.
"Eric!" Sookie said
Sookie read the wolfs mind. He looked at Eric for vampire blood.
"No you don't." Maria said
Maria transform into her tiger form and ripped her clothes. The wolf growls and so did Maria. Maria tackled him outside and they started to fight each other. She scratched him in the face. She's about to win and pinned him down. She was about to kill him.
"Maria don't. He knows. (They transform back into human. Eric ran towards them. Maria get off of the man and Eric pin him down.) Who do you work for?" Eric asked him
"Give me a taste, fucker. Come on." Man said
'Who sent you?" Eric asked him
"I-I can't--I can't talk." Man said
"For the last time: Who is your master?" Eric asked him
Sookie reads the man's mind. She stopped.
"If I tell you, I'm as dead as you are. You might as well kill me now." Man said
"As you wish." Eric said
Eric kills him as he drain all of his blood.
Cemetery.
Eric was making a grave for the werewolf.
"The ground's already disturbed, so no one would think to dig again." Eric said
"So much for keeping him alive so we could question him." Sookie said
"Well, that's what I was planning." Eric said
"Smell him." Maria said
"Your powers are getting stronger." Eric said
"Thanks." Maria said
"If you'd given me a chance to listen to his thoughts..." Sookie said as her sister cuts her off
"The were community is dangerous." Maria said
"The were community are virtually silent. They have no fear of death. And when they've had a bit of our blood, their strength can be a challenge. Even for me." Eric said
"Me as well. (Maria sees Eric's wound on his stomach.) Let me see." Maria said
"I'm fine. Come on. Let's go back to your house." Eric said
They started walking.
"Do you know anyone named Jackson? It's the only thing I could make out. Maybe that's the person he's working for." Sookie said
"Jackson is where he lives. He had a Mississippi accent." Eric said
"Oh, my God, he's from Jackson? Do you think that's where Bill is? Eric, we have to go, like yesterday." Sookie said
"I can't. Not yet. The problems of the world consist of more than finding your missing boyfriend. Maria you can't go cause you'll be outnumbered and Sookie can't go cause she's human." Eric said
"Standing right here." Sookie said
"Either of you will be dead if you two got there." Eric said
"Sook he has a point." Maria said
"At least take the day to think it over." Eric said
"Fine. Tomorrow. But we have to go. Bill would do it for me." Sookie said
"If we do get into some kind of trouble, you'll feel me. I know you can't run as far to Mississippi." Maria said
Eric put his hand on Maria's cheek.
"Stay out of trouble, Maria." Eric said
Next day.
Merlotte's.
"I'm so glad you found your birth parents and you heard that you have a brother. That's even more exciting." Maria said
"Yeah. News to me too." Sam said
"What are they like?" Sookie asked Sam
"Well, I'm more at home with the folks here." Sam said
"That bad?" Maria asked Sam
"Yeah." Sam said
"Speaking of which, you heard about the...?" Sookie asked Sam
"Hm? Yeah. Jesus Christ. And Andy shot him?" Sam asked Stackhouse sisters
"Yep." Maria said
"Good thing this town doesn't have many other bar options. So how long should I expect you two to be gone for this time?" Sam asked Stackhouse sisters
"Two." Sookie said
"Maybe three days. We should leave about 4. Make it until sundown." Maria said
"If you really wanna help, I'm kind of leaving Jessica here on her own while we're gone. Do you think you could make sure she doesn't do anything horrible?" Sookie asked Sam
"How?" Sam asked in confusion
"Give her a job? (Maria, her sister, and Sam laughed.) Just kidding. Can you imagine?" Sookie asked Sam
"Anyone could imagine. Arlene would freak." Maria said
Cemetery.
Sookie and her sister shown up for Eggs funeral.
"If I'm the only one here, who paid for all this?" Tara asked in confusion
"We did. I don't know him that well but it seems he was a very special guy to you." Maria said
"Eggs deserved a real funeral." Sookie said
"The casket's nice. You guys didn't have to." Tara said
"It might help you." Sookie said
"It doesn't." Tara said
"Well, at least you got somewhere to come see him now. Going somewhere to see Gran. It hurts a little less." Maria said
"Will you come back home? It's okay if you're still angry. We're going to be in Jackson for a couple days. Got a lead on Bill." Sookie said
"You can have the house to yourself." Maria said
"Lafayette's making me so crazy I wanna eat the wallpaper." Tara said
Mike Spencer prepared what he's about to say.
"I think this is everybody." Sookie said
"Friends, we have gathered to pay our final respects to Benedict Talley. (Tara begins to cry. Maria and her sister comfort her.) Your presence here assures that his memory will not be forgotten, as Christ assures that his soul will not be forsaken. Let us pray that he will find eternal peace and comfort in the arms of our Lord." Mike said
Stackhouse Residence.
Maria smell something.
"Get inside the house." Maria said
Sookie goes inside. A man approaches. Maria transform into her tiger form, she jumped on him, pinned him against the ground and growls him.
"Easy tiger. I'm not hear to hurt you. Eric Northman's the one who sent me. My name's Alcide Herveaux. I'm here to look after you and Sookie." Alcide said
Maria gets off of Alcide.
After while Maria, her sister, and Alcide are in the kitchen.
"Sorry about that. We just thought you were another wolf who's about to kidnap or kill us." Maria said
"It's ok." Alcide said
"The house is in no shape for guests." Sookie said
"Long story." Maria said
"We'll tell you about it in the car. (Sookie read Alcide's mind.) Yes, it is true. (She kept reading his mind.) In a room full of strangers, it might come in handy. Not two or three people." Sookie said
"I'll keep that in mind. One thing I don't understand is a weretiger involved with a vampire like Eric." Alcide said
"It's complicated." Maria said
"How'd he rope you into taking us to Jackson?" Sookie asked Alcide
"My old man, he's got a construction company in Caddo Parish. Came up a little short on a project. Went to Northman for a loan. You take what you can get. Only reason I'm here is to help him get out of debt. I don't do favors for vamps." Alcide said
"You remind us of our friend Sam." Maria said
"I know the pack is sniffing around. You ain't getting nowhere without an in." Alcide said
"Are you friends with them?" Sookie asked Alcide
"I wouldn't call them friends exactly. My ex is banging their leader." Alcide said
"Sorry." Sookie apologize to Alcide
"That's gotta hurt." Maria said
"That pack is a cancer to our kind. Wolves have lived in Jackson for almost 200 years without a single human knowing it. Now these sons of bitches come to town, there's a crime streak a mile wide. Not to say the rest of us are above violence, but you shut the barn door behind you." Alcide said
"I almost killed one last night." Maria said
"Yeah, Northman mentioned that. Looks like a hell of a fight." Alcide said
"We're ready for anything." Maria said
"They took someone I love from me. The Stackhouse name meaning we're not afraid of anything." Sookie said
"Great. We're gonna get killed." Alcide said
On the road.
"So you're not a Stackhouse?" Alcide asked Maria
"Your mom screwed a weretiger and you two are half siblings?" Alcide asked Stackhouse sisters
"Yep." Maria and her sister said
"Your tiger community disowned you cause you couldn't killed a human, they almost killed you, left you for dead, Eric found you and saved your life?" Alcide asked Maria
"Yes and yes." Maria said
"And you don't know what you are?" Alcide asked Sookie
"Kind of freaky if you ask me." Sookie said
"No shit." Alcide said
"Wish I found my biological father." Maria said
Jackson, Mississippi
Lou Pine's bar.
"Might not look like much, but Lou Pine's, it's the oldest wolf bar in Mississippi." Alcide said
"Alcide. It's nice to see a face from the old pack. I figured the new wolves are drinking enough for all of us. (Hollis sniffed Maria.) No cats in the bar." Hollis said
"She's with me." Alcide said
"Mm-hm. Who's the other one?" Hollis asked Alcide
"That's her sister." Alcide said
"Am I not dressed properly?" Sookie asked in confusion
"You look like dinner." Hollis said
"I'll keep an eye on them, Hollis. Gonna have to split up." Alcide said
"Great. I'll start at the bar. (Maria walked towards the bar.) Amaretto sour." Maria said
Bartender give Maria what she order. 2 bikers approaches to her.
"Could I help you gentlemen?" Maria asked the 2 bikers
"Why are you here tiger?" Male 1 asked Maria
"Shouldn't you be with your own were community?" Male 2 asked Maria
"That's really none of your business. (Maria sees Sookie and another biker head to another room.) Excuse me. (She head to the room and sees the biker messing with her sister. She punches him in the face.) Leave her alone." Maria said
"Hey, asshole." Alcide said
Alcide and the biker fight. Hollis hit the biker in the head with a bat.
"Goddamn! I'm gonna run out of bats if he keeps this up. Now get him out of here. NOW! (The bikers got their friend and started leaving.) Come on, man. The blonde ain't worth it." Hollis said
"I barely even know her." Alcide said
"I mean Debbie." Hollis said
"What about Debbie?" Alcide asked Hollis
"Oh, shit. Um...Debbie's getting engaged to Coot." Hollis said
"Come on, Hollis, stop it." Alcide said
"The party's tomorrow night. Here. I'm sorry I gotta be the one to break it to you." Hollis said
