Chapter Sixteen – Nightmares of Failed Past

High School DXD – Rise of Dragons is back and it's here to start a new Arc as well!

First, I have to say Happy Anniversary to High School DXD – Rise of Dragons for been one year old now! The story continues to get better and bigger than before. I'm here to tell everyone that the story is going to continue from here before anybody says anything about how I'm going to keep following the anime or manga then you have another coming since this story is my own creation.

(February 7, 2012 – In Kiba's Bedroom)

His bedroom was normal with dark blue walls with white carpet with a large bed in the middle of it; Kiba was dreaming of his past again which he was shaking inside of his bed and began to sweat begins to fall from his forehead within his dreams are showing what kind of person was Kiba Yuuto before he met Rias Gremory and became her Knight of Gremory Household.

Kiba was barely fourteen years old with blonde long hair down to his neck. His height was 5'2, and his weight was 138 pounds. His outfit was a midnight blue shirt and black long pants as he was trying his best to hold the sword inside his hands. His forehead was bleeding from the intense training, and he drops the sword from his hands, yet a young girl who has long brown down to her backside and her eyes are bright golden with her outfit was white dress down to her kneecaps as she helps him back up to his feet.

"Kiba, are you okay." The young girl spoke towards her guardian and love interest with great concern inside of her voice. However, Kiba tried to stop the girl from walking forward to accomplish the job with the church to create the new guardian for the sword.

"No Selina!" Kiba screams out with his right hand, reaching out, and he got out of the bed with his breathing in then out of trying to catch his breath. His right-hand places itself onto the forehead, comfortable of trying to understand why he was having those types of dreams or nightmares again because it seems that his past does not stay buried for long.

His head turns to sees the clock was 6:58 A.M and pushes the blankets from himself as it was time to get ready for school again, which his mind was wishing to bring Selina back to life.

(At Hyoudou's Residences - Issei's Bedroom)

Issei begins to wake up from his sleep to see his bedroom's ceiling as he was trying to get up, but he felt a weight on his chest and arms. So, he raises his head to sees Raynare was sleeping on his left side with her outfit choice was a light purple nightgown, which it was revealed fifty percent of her cleavage as her breasts ready to pop out; Zaira was lying down onto Issei's chest area with her outfit was light golden unbutton shirt with dark purple outline as her breasts, and light pink nipples were barely showing inside of her shirt. Mittelt was sleeping at his right side with her white unbuttoned shirt to reveals her cleavage inside of her shirt and holds his arm between her cleavage as Raynare did with his other arm too.

Issei got out of his bed as he did not wake the girls up and strokes Raynare first, Zaira then Mittelt hairs comfortable with his hand with their smiles shows warm and sweet. His head shakes slightly because it seems that he will need to get a bigger bed if another girl comes to sleep with him inside of his room.

He went to make something for breakfast for the girls as he stops in his tracks to sees the picture of young Issei and another kid with short blonde hair down to their neck were smiling at the camera. Yet, another kid has short dark blue hair down to her neck with shrining green-dyed hair in front of her hair, which the kid was wearing a dark blue t-shirt and black pants. Issei shows a warm smile and begins to clean the dust from the picture as it brought more questions of why those kids had to leave suddenly, yet he does miss hanging out with them. However, they were always inviting him to church, but Issei did not mind going with them because it seems like to have a great time with his friends.

He places the picture back on the wall with his lips forms a warm smile because he wanted to see them again, yet there was nothing for him to do. Issei left to the kitchen to makes some breakfast with Ddraig yawns to sees Issei was up in the early morning hours again as he speaks, "Morning partner but I have to say that you're up early." His tone was comfortable for his partner to hear him then Ddraig remembers how Issei was trying to train himself to hold the Balance Breaker, yet he could not hold the form for only three to five minutes.

(In Kitchen and Dining Room)

"Oh, morning Issei." Rias greets Issei with a gentle smile to first notice that he was waking up, and he first sees Rias' outfit was bright crimson button shirt, revealing fifty percent of her breasts for her to see it and black skirt down to her lower thighs. Issei turns away to try not to look at Rias' bouncing breasts inside her shirt and begins to imagine what Rias would look like inside the dark crimson apron only.

Rias wears a dark crimson apron only would reveal a great view of her cleavage, and her bubble-shaped butt would make an appearance. She would giggle at Issei was checking her out as she would not mind if Issei were checking her out and "Hello… Earth to Issei." Rias speaks back to him than his vision goes back to normal of trying his best to hold back the details of vision that he has seen of what Rias is wearing.

"I'm sorry and would you like some help, Rias?" Issei responds to Rias with a soft voice, and he was trying to ignore the feeling of her big breasts pushing against his chest. Rias nods at his request to help her inside of the kitchen as they begin to make something for breakfast been scrambled eggs, pancakes, and toast, which Rias turns her head to sees Issei has great talent then she begins to wonder if Issei recognizes that he beat Riser who only lost two of his thirteen Rating Games. Yet, Issei has lots of room to improve as she begins to wonder where their journey will take them next.

Issei went to places the plates and cups down on the wooden table which he begins to think about his next part of his training with Ddraig. He told Issei that the next part of the training was not really controlling the energy but holding the Balance Breaker, yet do not allow the curse inside of the mind. His attention turns back to seeing Rias reaching up the shelf with her dark purple panties showing underneath her skirt as Issei was turning deeply red as Ddraig teases his partner, "Why don't you give her butt a good smacking?"

"Shut up!" Issei screams as it startles Rias, and she jumps slightly, yet Issei catches her before she hits the ground. His hands felt something soft and squishy been Rias' breasts were holding them, which Issei pulls away from her of apology profusely for groping her like that.

"Issei, you are okay besides, I don't mind if it's you." Rias responds to Issei with a soft voice, and she shows a warm smile for Issei to see it. Issei's cheeks turn bright red because Raynare and Mittelt were always together with him, and it seems that his familiar or Issei's best friend Zaira was slowly growing affection for him. Issei and Rias sit down at the wooden table to eat the food together when they do, which leads Rias to feel her heart beating fast for Issei were eating her cooking then he looks up to see her expression for his answer.

"Don't worry, Rias. I love your cooking by the way." Issei told Rias with a comfortable tone, and his lips form a gentle smile towards her.

Rias' heart was going to jump out of her chest because it seems that Issei always knows what to say to make a girl's heart jump out of her chest or make them feel special. After finishing his breakfast by pushing the plate away from him and lifting himself to go outside of the house, Rias wonders where he was leaving off to?

"Issei, where are you going?" Asked Rias, her tone was worried about Issei leaving the house without telling anybody.

"Oh, I'm very sorry but I'm going to the park to do some training with Ddraig." Issei responds to Rias with a confident voice to master his abilities as been dragon and devil, then he continues, "Would you like to join me, Rias?" His right hand was offered to help her up from her seat then she shows a delightful smile because Issei was asking her to help him with his training.

"I would love to." Rias responds to Issei with her tone was amazed by the request from her pawn, which she wanted to get to know him better than before. Rias went to her room to put on white t-shirt and dark blue sweatpants, which Issei was waiting inside the living room. Then he hears the bedroom door open to reveals Rias was ready for the training with Issei, and she ties her long crimson hair into a ponytail.

(At Empty Park)

Issei and Rias begin to travel to the empty park, which Rias thought brought the idea that this was a date between them, yet he was smiling at her. She sees Issei was ready for the new parts of training. Issei begins to train himself on how to control the powers inside of his spirit and mind as Ddraig opens his dark green slit eyes to sees that Issei was ready to start his next and new training to unlock the new potential for Balance Breaker. Yet, the idea of Issei to get a new Balance Breaker is not something for himself to be ready for it.

"Oh, I completely to say that the clubroom is going to be clean today." Rias says with concerned tone as she completely forgets about the annual cleaning of the school's e classrooms, clubrooms, and roll. Issei opens his eyes from mediation and sees Rias slightly worried, and then his lips form a warm smile for them not to worry about it.

"Well, we can always do it at my place." Issei told her with a smooth tone as Rias was happy to hear that news. Then Rias begins to remember that Issei never talks about his family or parents, as a matter of fact.

Issei begins to get up from the sitting position and closes his eyes focus on the dragon's powers inside his spirit and body again. He felt incredible powers surrounding his body again, and Rias could not believe it, yet she felt the warmness around his body again. She felt the same energy when he fought against Riser, and the battle was intense. However, the real deal was after the battle as Riser went over to help Issei to the medical room, and it shows signs that Riser has gain a respectful and rivalry side for Issei Hyoudou.

(After the Rating Game)

"I have to say that battle was most intense and focused battle that I ever had for long time." Riser spoke with a firm tone as his wounds and bruises were healing them, which he went over to picks Issei up from the ground to help him to the medical room of Devils. Riser places Issei down inside of the white bed as he turns his head turns to sees Ni and Li had followed him, and he could tell that his two pawns have grown to have affections for Issei Hyoudou. "You two have grown to like Issei, haven't you?" Riser continues to speak back to them with a confident voice because they had great respect and confidence for their decision to be part of Issei's life.

Riser gets up and leaves Ni and Li with Issei, which their pawn pieces were gone from their bodies as they look at each other than nods at themselves. They went to kiss Issei's left and right cheek at the same time when he was still sleeping with Ddraig was healing his wounds and bruises from the intense battle.

(Back at Empty Park)

Issei calms his energy down to sees Rias was slightly worried about something because it seems that something was worrying her. Then he goes over to ask her, "Hey Rias, what's wrong?" His tone seems worried about her, and he hopes that he can do something to help her.

"It's nothing but where you part of the church when you were younger, Issei?" Asked Rias, her voice was concerned about how Issei was going to answer back to him.

"Yes, I was, but I never became a member of the church at all because I always wanted to have normal life or peaceful life with many friends." Issei spoke back to Rias with an honest tone, and she begins to understand that Issei never believed in mystical creatures or the other things inside the bible.

Rias looks down to sees Issei's right-hand shows a bright crimson flame inside with a dark green outline inside of his hands, which she becomes curious and surprise about the element of his magic was incredible to see the first views of his magic. "Is that Issei's elemental magic… No, it's too early for him to discover his element for his magic." Rias was telling herself with a confident tone as she begins to wonder if Issei was developing his skills or elemental skills faster than others in her peerage. Yet, Rias sees the flame disappear with Issei looks down to his normal hand.

Issei and Rias went to a wooden bench to sit down with one another, and "Hey Rias, I have to ask what would happen if we lost the Rating Game… What happened then?" Issei asks the curious question towards Rias with a gentle voice, and she looks at him with the questionable expression. Then it brought the idea of how Riser would not try to do anything with her, yet he would allow Rias and her peerage to continue their normal lives in the Earth realm.

"Riser told us to work hard and try to approval our powers inside of ourselves." Rias told Issei with the truth inside her voice, yet she shows a delightful smile for him.

The red magical circle shows up to Rias' right ear, and she hears the voice been ready for the clubroom for later today. Issei and Rias get up from sitting down on a wooden bench then begin to travel back to Hyoudou Residences with Rias to see right hand was open for her. Then she places her left hand to take hold of it. Issei felt Rias was holding his right hand with her own left hand; then, he shows a friendly smile because he does not mind if she held his hand with her own.

(At Hyoudou's Residences)

Issei and Rias return to see Asia; Raynare, Mittelt, and Zaira cleaned the house as Raynare and Mittelt noticed their boyfriend returned with Rias. His lips form a warm smile to see the cleaning house, then Raynare and Mittelt went over to hugs Issei, which Raynare's outfit was a dark purple shirt revealing her cleavage by fifty percent as her shirt went down to her waist. Raynare's dark blue shorts down to her lower thighs, and Mittelt wears a white shirt show fifty percent of her cleavage as it went down to her waist, and her dark purple skirt down to her lower thighs. Asia's outfit was a white shirt down to her belly unbuttoned to reveal fifty percent of her cleavage, and her skirt is light blue went down to her lower thighs. Zaira wears a pure golden tank top that reveals seventy percent of her cleavage with a dark blue outline and black vest, which her skirt was dark crimson went down to her lower thighs. Her dark brown fox ears appear top of her head, and her tail went underneath her skirt.

Issei could not help himself by checking Raynare and Mittelt out since their outfits were incredible for them to wear; they are girlfriends.

"Well girls, we have a meeting tonight." Issei told them with a gentle voice and went over to the kitchen to get some warm tea ready for the group. His head turns to sees the same picture of young Issei and two 'boys' were playing with each other with their lips forms warm smiles.

-Flashback-

Issei was only eight years old with his outfit was a dark blue t-shirt and black pants, which he was playing around with his two best friends as one of them has shrining brown hair down to 'his' neck with 'his' outfit was a light blue shirt and dark blue shorts down to 'his' kneecaps. The kid has mystical blue and light green spike with 'his' outfit was purple shirt down to 'his' waist and 'his' shorts went to 'his' kneecaps.

Third kids were nearly unseparated from one another as their best friends; then it turns into a beautiful relationship for Issei to have someone who can stay at his side when he did not have any friends or parents to speak of since his parents were gone.

-Flashback Ends-

"Hey Issei, are you okay?" Someone was calling out to him, which was Kiba, who just arrived at Issei's house, then turns his head to sees the same picture that Issei lost his focus then his mind began to focus and see the dark golden with crimson and blue jewels. "Issei, what did you see that kind of sword?" Kiba continues with his voice was firm about finding the sword because he wanted to destroy them to accomplish his revenge, so his beloved Selina can rest in the afterlife.

"I'm very sorry but I don't know anything about sword, Kiba." Issei answers back with a confident tone and begins to show little worries about his friend.

"It's fine besides, I believe Rias wanted us for something." Kiba told Issei with a gentle tone, and they went to the living room to hear what Rias needs to tell them.

Why did Kiba get serious on seen the sword in the picture?
