A friend's AU where the King is a good person, but everyone's still angsty. This gets into backstories and stuff (mostly Rouxls' but never mind that) I say the genres are angst, but I'll definitely write non-angsty chapters. Taking place during chapter one, what if Kris and the SOUL are able to talk to one another? Result? Troubles will arise and now Kris and the SOUL will have to work together in order to close the fountain with Susie and Ralsei. However, the fountain is not the only thing they will have to worry about. As another evil lurks among the realm of possibility and the unknown.

He should have been pleased. But when she could do everything he could better than him, and more besides, it was hard for Ralsei not to feel... Unnecessary. Unwanted. Inadequate. Or: fluffy boy suffers a crisis of confidence, and finds comfort in a surprisingly sympathetic Kris.

After the Spamton Neo fight, Susie figures out there's more wrong with Kris than just after-fight shakiness. She gives them the comfort(and hug) they so desperately need.
