As always, I'm only playing with JK Rowling's toys.

The entire class was stunned to silence, Harry had just cheeked Professor Snape, and the professor just took it. No detentions, not point deductions, no withering rebukes. Hermione observed Harry for a moment, wondering when he got so mature and when he had read Lord of the Rings.
Harry didn't respond the way everyone expected him to; he sat down and prepared for the lesson. Since that weird dream he had in the Dorchester, things didn't seem to add up. His memories were all messed up, he could clearly remember Auror training, but this couldn't possibly have happened as he was still in school.
Draco Malfoy got up from his workbench and walked over to Harry and Hermione, everyone including Professor Snape expected there to be snide comments coming from both teen boys; however what happened shocked everyone
'Harry, are you alright? You seem a little...' Draco began to ask; unfortunately, he was cut off with Harry slumping off his seat and began convulsing on the floor.
'HARRY!' screamed Hermione as she dropped to the floor to aid her love. Neville, who was at the table behind Harry, rushed around to help his stricken friend.
'Sir, I need a teaspoon.' Called out Hermione, when no response was forthcoming she shouted 'SNAPE, TEASPOON NOW!'
Within seconds the requested utensil was in her hands and holding Harry's tongue in place while his convulsions ceased.
Ron watched as Hermione and Neville helped Harry with a smug little smile on his face. "that's what you get for decking me, you ignorant prick" he thought, he eventually looked at Draco standing over the trio and decided to try and play the hero to get Harry in his debt.
'What the fuck have done to Harry, you dirty snake?' Ron roared, he threw a punch at Draco's pale face.
Draco didn't see the punch speeding towards him, nor did he see the self-righteous fury in Ron's eyes. His focus was on Harry, Hermione and Neville. Harry had stopped convulsing, and Hermione and Neville had rolled him on to his side.
He didn't feel punch connect because Ron had been immobilised by the potions professor milliseconds before his fist made contact with the Slytherin.
'Miss Granger, Mr Longbottom I trust you both can take Mr Potter to the infirmary while I deal with Mr Weasley?' Professor Snape asked calmly.
'Yes sir' came the reply
'Sir, would you mind if I escort them? I can carry their belongings' asked Draco, the resulting slight nod was enough for him to start packing Harry and Hermione's stuff away while Neville got up and packed his equipment away.
Draco carried both his and Neville's bags while Hermione carried hers and Harry's belongings; Neville picked up Harry in his arms and carried him out of the potions class. They had gotten less than five feet from the class when they heard
'Let me be clear; there will be no rumour mongering or falsehoods bandied about concerning what has happened here today. The culprits will be dealt with severely.'
The potions class sat stunned; they didn't expect the dungeon bat to want to protect Potter from the Hogwarts rumour mill. It was beginning to turn into a very strange day, indeed.
'Ms Patil, would you mind going to get Professor McGonagall. Please tell her this is a very urgent matter and needs her attention. Tell her Mr Potter has collapsed and has been moved to the hospital wing.'
Parvati got up and raced from the class, as fast as she could.

'Madam Pomfrey!' Draco called out as he held open the doors to the infirmary, hearing the commotion, the Hogwarts mediwitch came rushing.
When she saw who was calling and who was being carried she went straight into action mode.
'Bring Mr Potter here. Tell me what happened?' she demanded.
'I eh, I don't know' stuttered Draco.
'He collapsed in potions before we had even started. He fitted for approximately two minutes.
I used a teaspoon to secure his tongue, and when the fitting ceased, I placed him in the recovery position.' explained Hermione. Both the boys looked at her with equal measures of shock and awe.
'What? I have a certificate in first aid. Both my parents are medical professionals.' Hermione answered the unasked questions that hung between the boys.
'That was exceptionally quick thinking Ms Granger. You may just have saved his life, now please head back to class.' The mediwitch turned and pulled out her wand to cast diagnostic spells at the unconscious Harry.
'Madam Pomfrey, Harry sat with me the entire time I was petrified as well as the time I had the cat incident. I am not leaving him.' the tone of Hermione's voice left no room for negotiation. Poppy flashed a small smile at the teenager and said 'Fine, you can stay, but I am afraid Messer's Longbottom and Malfoy must leave.'
The boys nodded, they could see that Harry was in the best of hands, and that was enough for them to stand down. When they left the infirmary, Draco asked 'will he be alright?'
'I don't know, I've never seen anything like that happen to him before.'
The boys walked on in silence for a while before Neville put his arm out and stopped Draco.
'Look Draco I have to ask, did you do anything to him?' asked Neville.
'if you had asked me that last year the answer would probably be yes, but this year it's different. Harry and I, we aren't friends but given time you never know. You heard what happened on the train, right?'
Neville nodded and said 'what happened? I know that he choked you.'
'He could have easily killed me, and no one on that train would have batted an eyelid. I'm here only because Hermione asked him not to. Look, Neville, I know that since day one I have been a world-class prick, but I'm trying to change, I have changed; I have told the house to stop harassing you guys, except Weasley that is.' said Draco.
'What do you mean?' Neville asked
'Harry told me that if he heard the M word or heard that any muggle-born or specifically you and Hermione getting harassed then the person would answer to him. I looked into his eyes as he held me by the throat. I'm telling you Neville; I have seen angry wizards before but nothing like this. This was ... this was fury like I have never seen before. Nothing and no one would be able to stop him if I offended his friends.' explained Draco
'But you've been ragging on Ron all month, in front of Harry sometimes. He didn't scare you that badly.'
'That's just it, Weasley was specifically not mentioned. When I asked him about it all he said was "I'll leave that to your better judgment" Clearly something happened between them and given the way Weasley has been acting I'm not surprised.'
Neville held out his hand and said 'Welcome to the anti-Ron Weasley club.'
Draco smiled and shook the offered hand.

Where ever he was, Harry figured that they could do with some light.
'Hello, chosen one' echoed a voice in the black
'Can you people not just call me Harry? All this chosen one shite is getting old.' He called back at the voice.
'Very Well, Harry. I see that you have not sought out the one as wise as me?' the voice of Athena echoed.
'Well that's the thing, you see I wasn't sure if our last conversation was a dream or perhaps some undigested cheese coming back to haunt me.' answered Harry.
'The Creator deemed you worthy of having access to the abilities of your previous existence. This is why you are here, Chosen one. Your younger body and mind are ill-equipped to cope with this information coming at one time. Fear not; you are in good hands.' Athena spoke calmly.
Harry listened as Athena spoke.
'The last thing that I remember was Draco asking if I was alright, then everything went black. What happened?' he asked
'Your younger mind was unable to cope with the so much happening at one time. This caused you to collapse. The transference process has been completed however until your abilities settle correctly you will remain unconscious.' said Athena
'How long will that be?' Harry asked.
'For the rest of the day, please understand chosen one; this is something that has never been done before. The fates were very unhappy that you didn't fulfil your destiny. Yes your enemy was defeated, but the manner of his defeat and the way your allies behaved towards you and your lady angered not only the fates but also the creator.' explained Athena
Harry considered all that he had heard; there was much to think about.
'I shall leave you now Chosen One, and I will not return. Remember to seek out the one as wise as I. She will aid you and be your confidant, farewell chosen one.'

'Ms Granger, I cannot allow you to stay here all day; you have classes to attend. It would be improper of me to allow such a thing.' Madam Pomfrey remonstrated with Hermione, who was resolute in her decision to remain by Harry's beside.
'Madam Pomfrey, I can't leave him. He didn't leave my side in the second year when I was petrified. I will not abandon him. I... I can't...' her resolve broke before she could utter the last words causing heavy tears to fall. The Medi-Witch instinctively understood the depth of feeling that this young girl was feeling for her best friend, and exactly how many times and how long Mr Potter sat at her bedside all through her hospital stays in the second year.
'you stay with him as long as you need to, lass, not even the headmaster himself has authority over me in my infirmary.' Whispered the healer as she reached out and gently squeezed Hermione's shoulder.
Polly walked away from the young couple; her mind was racing. All the scans that she performed showed that his core was fine, his health was fine, albeit with slightly elevated Theta waves. There were no signs of potions or curses on her scans. Whatever this was, it was out with her vast medical knowledge.

Minerva McGonagall moved through the castle with a purpose that most had never seen from her. The door to the potions class was cast wide open when she reached it; Professor Snape looked up with barely a raised eyebrow.
'Come in, do, Minerva. Perhaps we should have tea?' he asked with more than a hit of sarcasm in his tone.
'This is not a social call Severus, explain what happened here this morning, or by Christ, there will be a reckoning.' demanded the firebrand Scot.
'While my dislike for Mr Potter is well known, I did nothing. When Potter and Granger came in, they sat down and then Draco Malfoy went over to see him. Seconds later, Potter dropped to the floor and began to fit. Ms Granger placed a spoon in his mouth, Weasley tried to attack Mr Malfoy, and I then sent Ms Patil to fetch you.' said Snape as he went back to reading the essay in front of him.
Minerva said 'As per the new rules Severus, I require a copy of the memory of the event so that I can investigate everything that happened.'
Snape nodded and handed her a vial containing a silvery thread. 'If you don't mind, Minerva, I do have work to be getting on with. It is only a free period for students.'
McGonagall turned on her heel and marched directly to the headmaster's office, as she approached the gargoyle she gave the password 'Rhubarb and Custard'.
After a moment of riding the staircase, she entered the office without knocking.
'Albus, Mr Potter, will not be attending your meeting this evening and he has asked me to remind you that he and I quote "will not be summoned like some mongrel pup". You have seriously vexed that young man Albus and woe betide you.' said McGonagall
'I am still the headmaster of this school and to paraphrase a wonderful muggle saying "I am the boss of him" however, with that being said, it was not my intention to offend or vex Mr Potter in any way. You said that he would not be attending, may I ask why?' asked Dumbledore
'Harry is currently in the infirmary; he collapsed in the potions class. And before you ask there is no evidence of any foul play from anyone. Severus has given me his memory of the event for us to investigate.' At this Minerva produced the vial and placed it on the aged wizard's desk.
Albus flourished his wand and the cabinet housing his Pensieve opened, Minerva had often envied the headmaster for his access to the magical artefact.
'Let us delve into the memory to see if our learned minds can discover the cause of Mr Potter's current situation.'
After a few minutes, both professors remerged in the office.
'He quoted Gandalf at Severus, that is quite remarkable' smiled Albus.
'What's remarkable is that Severus didn't issue any form of punishment whatsoever.' said Minerva as she took a seat 'However I feel that I must keep a weather eye on Mr Weasley, the reports that I am receiving do not fill me with confidence.'
'As I have been busy with the tournament I have been remiss in reading your reports, my dear lady, would you mind summarising for me?' asked Dumbledore
'Since the train ride, there has been a certain degree of friction between the members of the golden trio. Ronald appears to be drifting farther and farther away from Harry and Hermione; the rumour is that Ron is jealous of the closeness of Harry and Hermione and because of this he has been lashing out. More than one elf has reported that he has used inappropriate language in the proximity of some of the female pupils. On one occasion Mr Longbottom grabbed him by the throat, and just this morning Harry physically assaulted him, albeit as a reaction to being manhandled.'
Minerva finished her summing up and sat in the chair to listen to her wise old friend.
After sitting in silence for almost ten minutes, the headmaster said.
'it would certainly seem that Ronald is feeling shunned in some capacity; this does not excuse his abhorrent attitude to women. I had expected a certain young lady to finally win Mr Potter's affections this term although I was lead to believe that it would be Ms Weasley that would have the greatest claim. Molly told me herself.' explained Albus.
'Albus, Molly has been filling that girls head with nonsense about her marrying Harry since she was four. They have nothing in common except Quidditch, not to mention she is a simpering fangirl who has bought into the boy-who-lived myth, the very thing Harry hates more than Voldemort.' said Minerva.
'What are we to do then?' asked the headmaster.
'We watch, and we wait. This bloody tournament will do us no favours and mark my words if Harry's name comes out of that goblet then their already rocky relationship will be beyond repair.' McGonagall answered as she stood up to leave, 'I suggest on this one, Albus, we watch and wait'
'I was afraid that you would say that' replied Albus.
