Garou narrowed his eyes. "Are you saying you weren't fighting seriously until now?"

Saitama moved back and forth, looking down. "Huh, I gotta find the right spot."

"What the Hell are you doing?" Garou asked, raising a brow.

"Alright, here we go," Saitama said. "Super serious series - super table flip." He grabbed the ground beneath his fingers, flipping it up. Garou cried out, the wave of energy sending him flying. His vision faded in and out, and he could no longer see the ground.

I can't see anything, Garou thought. Wait a second…

Zombieman's eyes fluttered open. He was the only S Class hero still conscious.

Where is Goddess… wait, that B class hero… he thought. Is he the man Dr. Genus spoke of? And that highschool girl near him… could she be…?

"Normal punch combo!" Saitama shouted.

Garou was boxed in, receiving punches from every corner. He crashed head-first into the ground, unable to move.

He's confusing my senses, like a child playing with an insect, Garou thought. Is he toying with me?

"What decides the match is determination," Saitama said, hands in pockets. "In the end, you weren't serious." He sighed. "Garou. Once you calm down, quit your melancholic hero hunting. Fighting with you isn't fun."

Garou saw red. … what did he say? Did he say 'fun'? Don't fuck with me… I'm the one getting beat up. Bang's face appeared in his mind. I know, shitty old fart… I know pain.

You cannot defeat him without my help, Ayano reminded him.

Piss off, Garou thought. This isn't about you anymore! You care about nothing but power. I'll show him pain. It's something only I can do.

He sent his fist flying in Saitama's direction. Saitama grabbed his fist, slamming him into the ground. To his surprise, Garou slipped out from his grip.

I need more, Garou gritted his teeth. I'm not getting help from that stupid bitch. I'm doing this by myself.

He zoomed back and forth, debris flying everywhere. His moves were chaotic and wide-spread, unable to be detected by a regular human. He sent blow after blow in Saitama's direction, but the man simply punched him away.

More, Garou's eyes bulged. I need more… of what?! How do I beat this guy?

You need me, Ayano's voice said.

What can you do?! Garou thought. You're pretty much unconscious!

I don't need my body for this, Ayano replied. I need yours.

Garou grimaced. Saitama slammed his fist into his stomach, sending him into the sky.

It's not fair, Garou blinked heavily, crashing back into the ground. It's like that guy is made up of the world's unfairness. As if he's the personification of justice. But of course. Didn't I already know? This world is unfair. Justice and evil are decided by others. That's how the world is.

Yes, Ayano agreed. His strength is immeasurable. Every time I believe I am strong enough… he always proves me wrong.

You're not fair either, Garou thought. You're just like Raibaru. Even she didn't think much of me in the end. The truth is I'm all alone in this stupid world.

You betrayed Raibaru, Ayano thought. But she still cared for you. There are others who care for you too. Bang still does.

You trying to comfort me or something? Garou thought.

I am trying to say that you need my help, Ayano thought. Give me one more chance. Accept it, or die a failure.

Garou grimaced. Tears burned behind his eyes.

"We'll become the absolute evil," he decided. "We won't be fair either!"

And then he exploded, the sky going pure black. The world was shaken to its core. Saitama stepped back, raising a brow.

Then something crashed into the ground, smoke rising. A large, hulking figure emerged from the darkness. A monster, with long, twisted horns, gnarled teeth, and a taste for vengeance.

"At long last…" Garou declared, shaking the horns on his back. "Thank you…"

"Garou?" Saitama asked, raising a brow. "What's with the change in costume?"

"I've finally grown into the being I've never stopped yearning for," Garou told him. "You should be grateful too."

"What is your aim?" Saitama asked.

"Monsters," Garou answered.

"I mean after that," Saitama said.

Garou paused, before splitting into a toothy grin.

"ABSOLUTE EVIL."

His punch dealt another blow to what was left of the Monster Association.

Garou jumped into the air, "AND THAT…"

The weak ground was torn up, debris flying in every direction.

"... WILL BE COMPLETED WITH YOUR DEATH!" Garou roared.

A string-covered fist made its way towards Saitama. And then he suddenly stopped, like time itself had frozen him. Of course, Saitama had punched a hole through Garou's stomach.

"Sorry," Saitama said, his tone sending shivers down Garou's spine, "but I have no idea what you're talking about."

Garou slumped back, blood pouring from his mouth.

"I still can't reach you after this?!" he demanded, his body increasing in size. Red strings wrapped around his biceps, and black goop dripped down his sunken cheeks. "Unbelievable. Just a bit more, and I'll change the world!"

The humongous figure sent another fist in Saitama's direction.

"Serious headbutt!" Saitama yelled. He butted his head towards the enormous fist, taking out the entire arm.

"You'll change the world with absolute evil?" Saitama asked, his tone colder than Ayano had ever heard. "What does that mean?"

God, Fun Girl, help us, Ayano thought, praying to the entities she had seen. We will not lose.

A pair of wings grew out of Garou's back. His horns grew longer, as well as his fangs.

"YOU DIE." Garou boomed.

Saitama sighed, casually knocking Garou down again. "Can't even give a proper reply, huh?"

Garou grimaced. It was harder to stand up. Ayano's powers were healing him, creeping into his mind, but...

"So?" Saitama asked, staring at the monster's body. He still didn't even look remotely invested.

"This is what I feared the most," Garou admitted. "Expelled by the power of justice without even a say. But… but we won't let it. One more step and we'll-"

"No," Saitama said, seriously. "That's enough. You can't win. Haven't you noticed? You're weaker than you were before. Also, why are you calling yourself 'we' now?"

Garou grimaced. "Because we aren't finished yet, pathetic hero. The power of two will defeat you!"

"This is the end," Saitama declared. "Going any further is meaningless."

Red strings surrounded Garou's arms. Saitama stared at them.

"Dude, did you steal Ayano's string move?" he asked. "Not cool, man."

"This has a huge meaning for ME," Garou growled. "Finish what you started, coward! You call yourself a hero?!"

Saitama wasn't even bothered by the strings. He casually flicked his hand, knocking Garou back again. Garou's body began to crack.

"Check it," Saitama said. "You're running on fumes. You can't even respond."

Garou fell to his knees, a hole in his face. His body began to slump over.

"Ooh…" he groaned. "My power is leaking out… my Monster Calamity God Slayer Fist… dammit, don't leave me…" He felt Ayano's presence vanishing from his mind. "Wait, Yan-chan, where are you… don't go, I need you…"

I changed my mind, Ayano told him. You are hopeless.

"I think you should get your injuries checked out…" Saitama told Garou.

"No, not yet!" Garou shouted, forcing himself to stand. "Screw it! I don't need her! I'm the great monster Garou! I can-"

Saitama punched him again. "SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

Genos began to wake up. He saw Garou being slammed across the ground.

Garou's being beaten, I see, I thought. And his opponent is…

"Ah, Genos!" Saitama said, noticing his male disciple. "You're in pieces again."

"Sensei…" Genos faced his master. "So even Garou was no match for you."

Garou stood up. "What kind of sick joke… even that damn bitch abandoned me again… damn her, I'll give her Hell… but I've got to get you out of the way first."

"Where does he get his blood curdling tenacity from?" Genos asked.

Saitama clenched his fist. "Well, if you really want to continue this…"

"Kill him, B Class!" Zombieman shouted. "Before he transforms again!"

Who's this guy? Saitama thought, gazing at him.

"Yeah, man!" Fureddo piped up. "You've gotta kill him!"

"Quiet down!" Genos ordered. "This is Master Saitama's decision."

Garou's face had a searing hole right through it. Despite that, he still stood, gazing at all the heroes' unconscious bodies. His form trembled, but his eyes were full of passion.

"You're all pathetic," he sneered. "You can't even save one child! And yet people rely on you madmen. They always think you'll be there to save the day, but that's not true, is it? The phony peace that only heroes can create will dye the people with evil. That's why I'm doing this! What this world needs is not biased justice, but unbiased evil! I'm fighting for world peace. No hero will be able to stand up to me. I will be… an absolute monster! I'll save the world with absolute evil!" He glared at Saitama. "And what about you, hero? What does that cape you wear symbolise? Why are you a hero?"

Saitama picked his nose. "It's a hobby."

"Y… you…" Garou trembled. "Were you even listening to what I said?! What kind of a joke… how dare… at least take yourself seriously when you fight!"

"Enough," Saitama spoke up. "You talk too much. It's annoying."

Garou roared. "What is a hero to you?! There's no way you can be living with such a vague reason! Something's gotta be missing in that head of yours! I won't be satisfied like this! Show me what it is when you think of a hero!"

Saitama didn't respond.

"Don't fuck with me, baldy!" Garou roared, grabbing the front of Saitama's costume. "Are you listening?!"

"I DON'T KNOW!" Saitama yelled, slamming his fist into Garou's face. "IT'S A HOBBY, YOU FUCKING IDIOT!"

Garou's head was nothing but cracks, and his body was falling apart. "What the Hell.. what are you…?"

Saitama frowned. "A her-"

"No, you're not a hero!" Garou cried. "You can't… you can't call that a hero!"

"Really, Garou," Saitama clenched his fist. "So you did have an image of an ideal hero inside you all along. I see now. Even though you said you wanted to be a 'monster of absolute evil'… what you really wanted to be was a hero. You compromised and decided to be a monster. You took the easy route, thinking a monster's job was easier. All you had to do was defeat heroes. It's perfect for someone with no confidence like you. But you can never defeat me.

"Peace made by ruling the world with fear can't succeed as long as you can't defeat me. It will never work. It's impossible for you. Your compromised hero hobby vs my serious hero hobby! Even if that's all I had, I still wouldn't lose! A half-assed objective can't succeed. You can't win with absolute evil. But what about 'next time'? What will you do next?"

Garou's form resolved, his human form returning. His hair was shorter, but spines still covered his back. Human emotion was sprawled across his face.

"What should I do?" he asked, helplessly.

"Well, don't dine and dash, for starters," Saitama told him. "Aside from that… do whatever you want."

"That's… all?" Garou asked, looking up.

"Yeah, man," Saitama said. "I don't care what you do."

Fubuki sat up, glad to know Kencho was alive and safe. She noticed King was up, and so was Bomb.

That man… she thought, staring at Saitama. He's too strong.

She shook her head. "But the devil Garou is still alive… he deserves to die."

Taro stared at Garou, his head pounding painfully. And then he got another awful feeling crawling over him. His eyes went blank.

"Kill him," Zombieman told Saitama, weakly standing up.

"I don't want to be a murderer, but…" Fureddo gave Garou a nervous glance.

Ayano sat up as well, eyes blank. Garou was going to die, alright.

"I'm not murdering anyone over a little squabble," Saitama said, crossing his arms. "There's no need for it."

"'Little squabble'?!" Itachi sat up, Fureddo holding him back. "Half of the city's been destroyed! And that guy's half the blame!"

"I'm not doing it," Saitama stated.

Bang shoved a rock off his body. "Ah… Garou is still causing trouble?"

"Run away," Taro told Garou, appearing beside him. "Get out of here. Now."

Garou gritted his teeth. He could feel Ayano Aishi's presence creeping up on him from behind.

Bang suddenly slashed his shoulder, bringing him back to Earth. "You stupid disciple!"

Garou coughed up blood, falling over. Bang continued beating him up, his moves getting faster as he grew angrier. Garou continued to cough weakly. The heroes watched in awe.

Then when the furious Bang stopped, Garou decided to listen to Taro's advice. With a dash, he was suddenly gone.

"He ran away!" Fubuki shouted.

The heroes looked around in concern, but Saitama stayed nonchalant.

Man, he thought. I'm gonna need a new house.

Why had that boy been so scared?

No, Garou knew why. It was because of her, Ayano Aishi. That look in her eyes… she truly was absolute evil. But unlike him, she didn't care about justice. Only herself.

He was stuck in the backstreets. His hair was shorter, and his entire body ached. Perhaps that was a good thing. He didn't know who he was supposed to be anymore. Garou the monster, Garou the Hero Hunter, or Garou the human? Or just nobody at all.

Tears burned behind his eyes. He had never felt so lost, so pathetic, so broken. He had been utterly destroyed and defeated. He could never become a monster as long as that man was around.

My life is over, he thought, hopelessly.

Then he felt a presence. A familiar but unwanted presence.

He crawled back, fear squeezing his heart. A cold chill raced down his spine.

He saw her standing there. That twisted smile, but emotionless eyes. To her, he was nothing but a failed experiment. A failed experiment she needed to put out of its misery.

Garou crawled back. Somehow, she was even more broken than when he had first met her. She was like a robot, a calculating, mass-murdering robot.

"You had genuinely good goals, didn'tcha?" he asked. "Ya… ya said you wanted to fix the world. What happened, Ayano?"

Ayano stepped forward, wielding a knife.

"I joined you because I thought we were similar," Garou admitted. "I thought you… I thought you wanted to be a monster, just like me."

Ayano pointed her knife at him.

"But I guess I was wrong," Garou chuckled, more to himself than anything. "I'm not absolute evil… you are."

He cried out, the knife sinking into his flesh. And then he was living no more.

Who was that man?

Megami frowned, staring at an image of Caped Baldy on her screen. He had some affiliation with Ayano Aishi, as it seemed. Were they planning something together?

As well as that, there was a lot of controversy about the Hero Association being thrown around, and about Megami herself.

It is too late, Megami realised. The public is losing hope in us.

She shook her head, glaring at Ayano's picture. No… I will fix this. I always do. I will fix the mistakes the Hero Association made.

She suddenly heard the door opening behind her. She turned around, facing her father.

"That was incredibly irresponsible of you," he told her. "You were aware of your orders."

"I am aware, Father," Megami replied, sternly, "but the Monster Association was putting our entire city in grave danger. I refused to stand by and watch."

Her father kept his expression stone cold. Megami wore the same expression.

"Very well," her father decided. "You may return to the Hero Association."

Ayano stared at the entity in front of her. It was God.

"What can you do for me?" she asked it.

"I will give you more power," It told her. "Then… you will become the strongest."

Ayano nodded. "Thank you… God."

And then the power consumed her.

A/N: Welp, that's season 3 finished… whoo boy. This was a difficult season to write, mainly because of how many different characters there are and all the different subplots. Not to mention the manga updates and everything. I had to re-write some scenes a few times. It's kind of a big mess, this season. It's honestly my least favourite season, but it's necessary. Also, that Garou vs Saitama fight was a little predictable, but honestly that's kind of how all of Saitama's fights go. Now, technically speaking, there is only one season left, but it's going to be split into two parts. And season 4 is the season I've been wanting to do for a while… this one is going to divulge from the original plot even more than the other seasons. But before that, I've got some extra chapters to share. There won't be as many this time since I'm a little sick of writing extra chapters. XD But one of them is about the Season 2 OVA 6, so look out for that. There's also something serious I have to address. I'll probably go into detail about it once this story is finished, but just know for now that I am aware of the drama surrounding YandereDev and the game, and once OPS is finished I won't be making anything else for Yandere Simulator. See you soon for the extra chaps and the s4 cover. XD
