A few months have passed since they've bought their first home. They've moved in and all settled in, with only a few touches missing according to Hinata. Naruto thought it was just fine but then again, Hinata has way better taste in this area than him.

As he looked at the sleeping woman, he ran a finger across the soft skin of her face trying to pull her out of her sleep. She moaned in protest pushing his hand away.

He did keep her up until late last night, but she could still sleep later. Right now, he just wanted her awake and responsive.

"Good morning, baby." He said, placing kisses on her shoulders.

She pushed his head away again, mumbling something as she buried her face into the pillow.

"Babyyyy." He whined, placing more kisses on her. "Wake up."

Her eyes slowly fluttered open and she looked at him out of the corner of her eyes, closing her eyes again.

"Good morning." She mumbled, eyes still closed.

"Did I wake you?" He asked and that was enough to make her open her eyes and narrow them at him, and he lightly laughed.

"Yes." She sleepily said, burying her face into his chest as he pulled her toward him.

Any gentleman would have let her sleep, but he was no gentleman and he needed her awake.

"Hinataaaa." He buried his face into her neck. "Wake up. I made you breakfast."

She needed to wake up now before he lost his mind. He was so anxious and he was afraid that he would die from how fast his heart was beating if she didn't wake up.

His beautiful girlfriend stirred again, opening her eyes with a smile.

"You did?"

"Yes. So, you need to wake up and eat it."

She furrowed her eyebrows looking at him worriedly at his insistence. Usually he doesn't care about messing up while cooking, which happens almost every time except when he's cooking ramen, he would just laugh at himself and order takeout instead.

"Okay." She sat up rubbing her eyes, holding the bed sheets to her chest. "I'm up."

"Okay. These ladies are distracting me." He groaned, eyeing her poorly covered chest by the thin bed sheet before grabbing his shirt from the floor. "Put this on."

She put it on as he left the room.

He came back only a second later holding a tray in his hands. He placed it on her lap as she sat properly blinking at the food.

"Eat and let me know what you think." He instructed and she did, grabbing the fork to take a bite of the food, surprised by the taste of it.

"These eggs are surprisingly good." She smiled, taking another bite.

He just blinked at her, not saying a word as of waiting for her to make a move.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She giggled. "It's really good."

He let out a long sigh and dropped, laying on his stomach.

"I just forgot something and I ruined it." He huffed burying his face into the bedsheets.

"What did you forget?" She asked and he just mumbled something into the sheets. "Naruto-kun?" She called worriedly.

He lifted his head and looked at her seriously before sitting up straight. He took the tray from her and set it aside. He then proceeded to pull her to sit on his lap.

He nervously licked his lips and looked into her eyes. "I want you to be my husband." He said then paused and groaned again, dropping his head shaking it. "I'm hopeless."

Hinata was stunned as she stared at him with wide eyes, too shocked to tease him about his words. He tightened his grip around her smaller hand pressing kisses to her knuckles.

"I want you to be my wife." He corrected himself with a nervous chuckle.

"Naruto-kun." Hinata said breathlessly as her eyes filled with unshed tears.

He grabbed the tray, setting it aside.

"I love you." He said kissing her knuckles again. "I know I want to be with you forever, Hinata. I want to grow old with you, y'know. Have kids and all those other things. Forever, I want to be with you. And only you, Hinata."

She sniffled a little as tears escaped her eyes and her lower lip slightly trembled.

"So." He cleared his throat nervously. "Will you marry me?"

"Naruto." She happily sobbed burying her face into his shoulder.

Her body slightly shook as he wrapped his arms around her.

He kissed the top of her head letting out a shaky breath. "I wanted to plan something big and romantic. But I've gotten the ring yesterday and being patient while having it in my things was torture. I just couldn't wait."

She let out a small laugh lifting her head to look at him. He brought a hand up wiping her damp cheeks.

"I think this is very romantic." She smiled, turning her head to kiss his palm.

His shoulders dropped in what seemed to be relief before they tensed up again and he let out a frustrated groan.

"Where the hell is the damn ring?" He groaned, lifting her up to place her back on the bed. He hastily got off the bed. "Give me a second. Wait here." He said leaving the bedroom.

Hinata smiled as she sat there waiting for his return, feeling her extreme happiness fill her heart. she bit on her lower lip as an excited scream fought to escape her lips and pressed her hand to her chest feeling her rapidly beating heart.

She waited a few minutes, only to hear his frustrated groan and cupboards being opened and slammed shut. Hinata quickly got off the bed too and following the sound of the commotion, which led her to the kitchen.

"Naruto-kun?" She called worriedly as she found running his hands through his hair in frustration.

"I'll find it. It was just here." He mumbled and started moving around again.

He sighed opening the fridge and looked in it for a few seconds before a laugh escaped him. He pulled a small velvet and Hinata placed a hand to her mouth to hide her smile.

"Inside the fridge, Naruto-kun?" She giggled, not being able to help herself when he turned to give her a boyish smile.

"Give me a break." He chuckled, scratching the back of his head. "I was really nervous."

She laughed again and he turned to face her slamming the fridge door shut. He then approached her, taking her hand in his once more.

"Now will you marry me?" He asked, looking into her eyes.

Her laughter slowly died down as she looked at him with a small smile. Her eyes watered again but she just looked down at her feet sniffing a little before looking back at him trying to blink them again.

"I don't know." She faked pout pretending to think about it.

"Don't play with me, woman." He groaned narrowing his eyes at her. "I'm way too on edge for that right now. Look." He opened the box and Hinata gasped at the sight of the elegantly cut diamond ring.

Her eyes watered even more and she looked up to stare into his eyes.

"Please, answer me. I'm honestly about to pass out. I'm sweating." He almost pleaded and she wrapped her arms around his neck lifting to her toes to pull him into a soft kiss.

She laughed moving to wrap her arms around him. "Of course, I'll marry you. I love you so much."

He grinned widely, taking her ring out of the box. He took her left and put the ring on her finger as Hinata watched with sparkling eyes.

"Thank God." She let out a long breath engulfing her in his arms. "Thank you. Thank you."

She giggled through her tears as he kissed the top of her head multiple times.

"I love you so damn much." He pulled to press his lips against hers eagerly.

"You were afraid I was going to say no?" She smiled looking into his cerulean eyes.

He smirked, tightening his hold on her. "No. I knew you would say yes. But I was anxious."

"How were you sure?"

"Because you've loved me since middle school." He chuckled pressing his forehead to. "You should be embarrassed of yourself."

"Naruto." She gasped, lightly hitting his chest.

He chuckled, moving lower to kiss her again.

Four years since that morning in their kitchen, but to Hinata, it was as if it had only happened the day before. She still remembered it so well and she still felt butterflies when she thought about it.

"Mommy, look!" She looked down at the tiny hand pulling on hers before looking at the little boy it belonged to with a soft smile.

The little boy looked every bit like his father. From the deep blue of his eyes, the shiny color of his hair to the smile that only seemed to bring out her own.

"What is it, sweetheart?" She asked, looking at her son.

Boruto lifted a green dinosaur plush doll to show her. "For baby." He said pointing at her stomach.

"You want to get this for the baby?" She smiled, going down to his level, grabbing the toy from him and looking at it with a soft smile. "What a thoughtful big brother you are, dear."

"Yes." He grinned, placing a tiny hand on the small bulge of her belly. "For my sister."

"For your sister." Hinata nodded with a small smile, standing back up. "We'll get it for her, then."

"Okay!" He grinned, taking it back from him and holding it tight.

"We should go home. Daddy must be waiting." She said and grabbed his small hand walking toward the register of the store when something in one of the aisles caught her attention.

A familiar pink head.

Pink hair that belonged to the woman she's hurt in the past.

A radiant smile on her face as she placed her hands on her very round belly. Her sparkling eyes fixated on an energetic man with a raven head, a man she recognized as Rock Lee, one of their high school friends.

Lee had so much baby clothes in his hands that he decided to place some toys on top in head earning a laugh and an eye roll from the pinkette.

"You're an idiot. I told you to let me help."

"No way! I can handle it. Our baby will have all the time to enjoy his youth, but for now he needs to keep growing for a few more days before his birth."

She sighed, reaching for some items but the man quickly pulled away. "You're so silly. Let me hold the teddy bears."

"I can handle it!" He exclaimed excitedly, always jumping away from her reaching hands once more. "Let's go get some more!"

Sakura shook her head a sigh as she walked past him to the other aisle, her smile still present as she turned back to look at his struggle.

"Mommy!"

Hinata smiled with a small sigh as she looked down at her son who was now getting impatient.

"Let's go, sweetie."

"Daddy!" Boruto screamed sprinting through the front door as soon as his mother opened it and jumped into his father's welcoming arms.

"Yo!" Naruto pretended to wince as if Boruto was too heavy for him. "You're getting too big for your old man."

"Silly daddy." Boruto laughed looking at his father as if he was seeing the most beautiful thing in the world.

He strongly believed his father was the coolest and strongest in the world, which Naruto took pride in agreeing with any chance he had.

"Yes. Daddy's silly." Hinata smiled approaching them. Naruto leaned down to place a soft kiss on her lips.

"Yuck!" Came from Boruto as he kicked his legs to be put down.

Naruto put him down and the boy ran off somewhere in the house. Once he disappeared, Naruto looked at his wife pulling her toward him.

"Did you buy something?" He asked, seeing her empty hands.

"Just a few toys and more for the baby and Boruto." She answered as he placed his hands on her belly. "They're in the car."

"Aw. You didn't get anything for daddy." Naruto pouted slightly, rubbing his nose against hers.

"If he stops being a brat, I'll get him something later." She softly teased me walking past him to go find where her son had run off to.

He growled following behind her. "I can't wait."

Later that day, Hinata sat on the couch grabbing her knitting kit as she watched her husband and little boy play together. Boruto shows his temper once in a while when his father beats him, or jumps around in joy when he wins.

She let out a content feeling as she placed a hand to her belly when she felt fluttering. Soon there would be another addition to their little family, and she couldn't wait.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Here's the last part of this story since you guys wanted me to finish it and not delete.

As for the new story I announced in the previous update of this story, I decided to make it an independent story instead of deleting this one. I've seen all your all your titles suggestions and I have to say, some of them gave me a good laugh. Example: "7 year itch" by princessandromeda56.

But I've decided to go with "The other woman", also an idea of Princessandromeda. Thanks a lot!
