Plans upon plans upon plans

So the day of the plan, Hogsmeade was a small place so getting Alec and Magnus to 'accidentally' bump into each other wasn't going to be difficult but to get them to stay in each other's company was going to be difficult.

Walking down the lane to the town Jace was still spitballing ideas, "I still think tying them up and locking them in the shrieking shack is the best idea."

Isabelle just shook her head, Jace's plans had involved sleeping draught and petrificus totalus and a variety of was to immobilise the two of them and they all ended with them being tied up and locked in the shrieking shack. Looking behind them she could see that Alec was far enough away to not here and was definitely in a world of his own.

"I think Ragnor's plan will work, around 12 we convince Alec to come with us for a drink at the three broomsticks and we sit in the corner booth, he will then come in with Magnus and not finding any tables will join us."

Jace also looked over his shoulder to check of their low moving brother "how do you know there will be no tables?"
"It's Hogsmeade on a day when Hogwarts students are released into the wild where the majority of students going to be going are?"

"True true"

"What's true true?"

In their deep conversation neither of the conspirators had noticed their ninja like brother catch up with them, "that the majority of students will have gone to three broomsticks."

"While most of the couples will be going to Madam Pudifoots." Alec sent Jace a pointed look and waited for the penny to drop, and waited, and waited, "you know like how you promised Clary, as it's your anniversary tomorrow"

The series of emotions that crossed Jace's face ranged from confusion, to realisation, to fear and the language that came out of this mouth would have made Hagrids beard turn white with shock. Quikly followed by him running off to by an anniversary present and shouting "THANK YOU YOU BEAUTIFUL HUMAN!"

One down, one to go.

Once Isabelle had stopped laughing Alec turned his attention to her, "so do you have any plans in Hogsmeade?"

"I'm going to spend time with my big brother and make sure he doesn't mope around thinking about the talk, dark, enigmatic Magnus Bane".

"I don't need a carer Izzy, I've brought a book and will spend my day reading and moping in the Three Broomsticks and maybe go for a walk. What's Simon up to today?". He tried to make his face look genuinely interested in what the answer was.

"Wow that sounds fun. So you're spending the day in the Three Broomsticks." Alec gave her a quick nod, he could see her brain working and just like with Jace he saw the penny drop, "Maybe I am able to leave you on your own, I know Simon was planning to go to Honey Dukes I might go find him".

To to easy.

Alec watched his sister walk a bit quicker and with a slight skip in her step. Whistling to himself he made sure nobody was looking and as nonchalantly as he could stepped off the path and into the trees.

The night before

"Ragnor, fancy a drink?"

"Well I know you know the answer is yes, why'd you ask?"

"I have a bottle of fire whisky and felt like we haven't had a proper drinking night in a while, im thinking drunk gobstones, drunk exploding snaps and loser buys the coffee in Hogsmeade!" he raised his eyebrow in challenge.

Lowering his book Ragnor looked straight in his eyes a glint of mischief in them, "your on, lets recruits some others."

Alcohol you wonderful invention.

The morning after the night before

Magnus woke feeling refreshed and slightly proud of himself. Sitting up he looked over at Ragnors bed where his best friend was snoring loudly and dead to world.

Getting dressed as quietly as he could he placed a glass of water on Ragnor's night stand and a note saying "morning princess, enjoy xx". He then slipped out of there door, closing it quietly behind and tiptoed through the common room around passed out students from various years who had been dragged into the night of cards and alcohol, fifth years really can't handle the alcohol they seem to be able to get a hold of.

Walking to Hogsmeade on his own he watched the various groups and couples walking ,all of them looking excited for the day ahead and discussing what they were going to do and what stuff they will buy. His mind went back to last time he visited Hogsmeade and how excited he was to be there and how it had ended with everybody knowing about them, it felt years ago.

This trip will not be ending the same way.

He turned off the path and into the trees and carefully found his way to his destination. He knew he had found it when he found Alec with his back towards looking up at the one of the trees, he took this moment to look at him, he remembered what it was to be held by him to kiss him and to be his, the thoughts caused butterflies in his stomach and a blush to creep up into his cheeks.

After composing himself a he coughed to make his presence known but not to startle Alec, he failed at the latter.

"MERLINS BEARD!"

Magnus chuckled, "no just me, right initials though", he sent a small sheepish small smile testing the waters.

Apparently he didn't need because as soon as Alec composed himself he ran up to Magnusan after checking for the signs that it was okay, he grabbed Magnus' face and kissed him making up for all of the kisses they had missed over the last months, and both silently promising that they would never go that long without each other again.
