So this is the first fight of Ragnarok. I thought I could do everything in just one chapter, but I want the fight to have meaning and sensation just like the ones in canon. So we will break into pieces, I won't be going towards their backstory because we don't need that at the moment but we will have moment. Also, don't expect every fight to have the fighter that I choose be a carbon copy of the human that fought this god. So Toriko is not going to do some of the things that Lu Bu did. Ok, great now let's go.

As Toriko was finishing eating his pork, he just had a big goofy smile in return.

''Phew! That was good. Thse people here really know also how to cook.'' Said Toriko rubbing his belly.

Thor was with no smile or other expression. He was pretty much with a stoic and cold glare to the gourmet hunter.

Meanwhile the gods were all pretty angry with that way entrance by the human.

''Is that human for real. He is in front of the Mighty Thor and acts all childish?!' Asked a random god.

''He is nothing but trash!'' Scream another god.

''Kill him Thor!'' Scream another god.

''Yeah! Make him pretty much dust.'' Said another one.

Brunhilde was on the top of the arena seeing the combat with one of the best view possible. She was near Goll who was going to be with her the whole time.

''Please lord, let Toriko be victorious and…'' Said a random spectator and Brunhilde stops him.

''Silent human. Save your prayers. Don't pray for the same gods that we are being tasked to defeat.'' Said her.

The valykire had one of the biggest determinations in the entire arena. She was more willing certain to put her life and her sisters to show to the entire multiverse the great power that humanity has to offer.

Heimdall was ready to set off the last points before the fight starts. Since this was the first fight, he need it to make sure that the main points are heard to the crowd.

While this was going on Hilde and Goll were talking.

''Hilde, do you think Toriko can win?" Asked Goll

''They say ´´no man can defeat a god´´. Is that what you think?" Asked Hilde to her sister.

''Uh no…'' Said Goll nervous but Brunhilde wasn't done.

''I´m sure all the gods here believe that too. And that's exactly why we have a change. This is our best opportunity to smack those shit eatings grins of their faces.'' Said Brunhilde.

The way that the old Valkyrie said was poethic but the last part left Goll a little confused.

''Shit eaters Grims. Smack them off!'' Said her with a malicious smile.

''She sure has a potty mouth.'' Thought Goll.

Heimdall was still going on about the main points of the battle and then it was finally time to start.

When Heimdall of the apocalypse, blows the Gjallar Horn Ragnarok begins.

''The battle against between Gods and Human is about to start.'' Thought Goll nervous.

''Oh yes, time to beat some God ass.'' Thought Brunhilde with a smirk.

Heidmall blow his horn as much as he could and then he scream to fully start the match.

''BEGIN!'' Scream with him excitement and the crow goes nuts..

However neither Thor or Toriko went to fight blow to blow. Instead, they were looking at each other. Thor with his emotionless face while Toriko had his huge grim on his.

''Huh?' Asked Heimdall confused.

Thor and Toriko started to walked toward each other in the slowest way possible.

''They aren't even approaching each Other yet! Both fighters dropped their guard and no serious movement!'' Said Heimdall confused.

''Why is he doing this?" Thought Goll confused.

On the Greek gods area.

Zeus with his two sons Ares the god of War and Hermes the messenger of the gods was watching this strategy and had a huge grim on his face.

''What are they doing?" Asked Ares.

''It appears that both want to see who is going to show off their best move first.'' Said Zeus.

''They have no intentions of holding back their power.'' Said Hermes.

Some other gods were also looking at that and had a curious or even bother look in their faces.

''Yeah I kind expected this from him.'' Said Shiva all calm.

''Oh my, this shall be exciting.'' Said Aphrodite.

Toriko had an idea on what to do. He need it to make sure Thor attacked first, so for now he was going to go easy and them release his full potential.

His friends were on the stadium watching in fear on what was going to happen next.

''What is Toriko-sama doing?" Asked Komatsu

''He is trying to get a better fighting change. Against a opponent like Thor he needs all the advantage that he has.'' Said Coco.

''Pretty impressive the guy they got for him. Wish I had a change to fight.'' Said former president of the Gourmet Organization Ichiryu.

''I don't think this would be a wise decision.'' Said Shigematsu.

''Sirs, both of you have a change to see Toriko fight a god. Let's just enjoy the show.'' Said Mansam.

''Just the presence of that God is enough to make my camera with a glitch. I cant even take a good look.'' Said Tina.

''Prii Prii.'' Said Kruppoh also with fear.

''Look at that guy. Full of himself, I could go there and put all my best move and be done.'' Said Zebra.

''Zebra don't even start. If we help Toriko we are as good as dead. Lets just put faith in him and watch this fight.'' Said Sunny.

''I mean if we go and help Toriko we could win this fight easily, right?" Asked Zongeh

''I don't know. Toriko is strong but this Thor…'' Said Teppei worried.

''I am not even sure on what to believe anymore.'' Said Setsuno.

The most nervous was Toriko wife Rin who was crying and pretty much trying not to pray for that moment.

''please Toriko, win this.'' Thought her.

On the arena

The Gourmet Hunter just started to talk which annoyed Thor.

''You are truly a powerful foe. I can tell just by looking at you, but I am with no intention of losing.'' Said Toriko.

Thor just look at Toriko with absolute hate and was wondering if he should even bother to try at all.

''I know that you think I am a weakling, and I am not. I am here to fight to protect humanity.'' Said Toriko.

''Why?" Asked Thor.

''Because humanity is the ones that create the best kind of food in the world.'' Said Toriko much to Thor anger.

''So this is all about food?' Asked him now pissed.

''Easy there man. Food is not only something that we eat to gain energy is life too.'' Said Toriko.

''that's probably the stupid thing I ever heard in my immortal life.'' Said Thor.

''So that how you see? Ok there God Thor.'' Said Toriko.

The Gourmet Hunter just had his usual smirk on his face and then he got serious.

''Let's get serious.'' Said Toriko.

The Gourmet Hunter started to achieve his gourmet Cells and the full power that they were storing. Thor could sense that something was off.

''His aura is completely different now. Is like a demon is being created.'' Thought Thor.

''If you dare to destroy all the food that humanity has ever created, I will give you a beat down that you won't forget.'' Said Toriko and that's when the god realize it was time to fight.

Thor and Toriko were now ready.

And to start Thor swing his giant hammer to pummel Toriko like a insect while the Gourmet Hunter had a charged fist ready to be fully used.

''AAAAAAH!" Scream Thor.

''FOOOOOOOOOOOORKKKKKKK!' Scream Toriko.

The clash between the hammer and the punch was one that result in a shock wave. People were amazed that Toriko managed to make a powerful move enough to tie in with Thor all mighty hummer.

''Wow! Both fighters started with strong moves and are equal to each other. One is using his famous weapon and the other his bare fist! Who will come on top of that?' Asked Heimdall

Both of Gods and Humans were impressed with this amount of powers. It was no surprised that both fighters were insanely powerful and were ready to continue.

Thor managed to get a step back and prepare the next attack. He was about to use the electricity of his hammer to fry Toriko but the blue haired man was already with a plan.

''Flying Fork!' Scream him charging the attack to crash with the one from Thor.

Thor managed to step back from that crash, however once he had done that Toriko had jumped enough in the air to deliver an flying attack.

''Flying Knife!' Scream him using the attack but Thor just blocked with his hammer.

Once it was shown that Toriko had power Thor started to grow a little smile on his face. This was a challenge, something he was wishing for centuries.

The Gods were also impressed by this. Toriko right now was giving Thor a hard time, something that many thought impossible.

''This human has a power. This might be interesting.' Thoguht Zeus.

Soon Toriko charged at full speed and even managed to surprise Thor. Once he was in a good distance he attack the god right in the chest.

''Hit Nail Gun!' Scream Toriko hitting Thor right in the chest. It was an attack so powerful that even made a sound.

Boom

The attack made Thor be send to a wall and even cough blood.

''Argh!'' Said Thor.

''What is that? The Mighty Thor is bleeding.' Said Heimdall in shock

The gods were in horror over that scene. Thor is one of the strongest Gods and he was now bleeding because of a human.

''Impossible!'' Scream a random god.

''The mighty Thor never bleed in his life!'' Scream another one.

Thor looked up at one of the best areas of the Arena and saw his father Odin with his two ravens Huginn e Muninn doing his speech.

''Get up you stupid brat!'' Scream Huginn.

''We are not here to be mocked by your stupidy.'' Said Munnin.

The god of thunder does get up and even speaks to Toriko upon looking at his own blood.

''Impressive, it's been centuries since I saw my own blood.'' Said Thor.

''So you think I am in your level?" Asked Toriko.

''Not yet, I am still millions of years ahead of you. This was your best shot.'' Said Thor.

''Man, you are about to wish you never said those words.'' Said Toriko in fighting mode.

Zeus on the other Greek gods were all just wondering what was going to happen next. Toriko prove to really be a match for Thor.

''Despite the stupid names, that kid Toriko is good. However, Thor is just showing off not even 1% of his true power. I can see now that things will be getting interesting.'' Said Zeus.

''Wait really father?" Asked Ares.

''Oh I see. So now we are about to see a fully carnage done by Thor. How splendid it.'' Said Hermes in a monotone voice.

Toriko was just seeing Thor taking out his jacket and now showing his mighty strength. He raises his hammer and point at Toriko.

''Hey…'' Said him.

''Uh?" Asked Toriko.

''Thank you human. I thought this would be a boring match, but you show me that you have power and for that you are truly worth to be killed by me using my pure and absolute strength.'' Said Thor.

The announcement made many shivers while others look excited to see what happen next. Toriko just had only one answer.

''Ok, just try to keep up with my speed.'' Said Toriko.

''Yes, we will see.'' Said Thor.

Both combats were now ready to use their maximum power against each other. Thor saw that Toriko was no Buffon and Toriko saw that Thor was about to show his real strength. Let's see what going to happen next time.
