It is February of 1946, the boys were going to be in 1st grade in the fall. The boys were outside playing since it was recess. They were sitting on the bench talking. "Danny, can we see Zacky after school?" Roger asked, making Danny smiled at him.
"Mommy said that Auntie Zoey is taking him to Grandma's house." He told him.
"Aw." Roger says.
They chuckled at him as Kenickie ruffles his hair.
"Leave me alone!" They looked over to see Leo picking on a little girl who was sitting on the swing set, she was the same age as they were.
They stood up and ran over the girl, Kenickie pushed Leo away.
"Leave the girl alone!" Kenickie shouts.
Anthony held the girl's hand as Roger hugs her.
"Oh get lost, you losers!" Leo shouts.
Danny walks closer to Leo.
"You better leave the lady alone, ya creep." He growls.
"Boy, you guys are sissy!" Leo remarked as he and his friends laughed.
But Kenickie tackled Leo to the ground.
"Hey, get off!" Leo yells.
Danny pulls Kenickie off and leans down to Leo.
"Get outta here, now." Danny says lowly.
So Leo stood up, wiping the dirt off of him.
"Freak." Leo mumbles.
He and his friends walked away.
"Hate that Craterface." Sonny spoke.
The boys turned to the little girl.
"You ok?" Danny asked.
The little girl nods her head.
"Hey, don't ya worry." Kenickie started. "That creep won't mess with ya ever again." Kenickie assured.
"Thank you, boys." The little girl spoke.
"I'm Danny Zuko and these are my best friends Kenickie Murdoch, Sonny LaTierri, Anthony Del Fuego and Roger Jacobs." Danny introduced himself and the boys.
The little girl smiled.
"It's nice to meet you, boys." She replies. "I'm Patty. Patty Simcox."
They gave her a smile.
"Hi Patty!" Roger smiled.
They chuckled at the cuteness in him.
"Aw, you're so cute." Patty gushed, making Roger blushed.
"Want to hang out with us so Leo won't bug ya?" Danny asked.
"Really?" She asked.
They nodded their heads.
"Ok!" Patty smiled.
Roger and Anthony held her hands while they all walked over to the playground to play of course.
