Shane was outside, waiting for Maya to arrive. He had a huge surprise for her. He was gonna ask her to marry him. Once he saw Maya's car pulled up, he ran over to her and held the door for her. "Hey beautiful." He smiled as he kissed her cheek.
"Hey handsome!" She smiled back.
They both walked up to the front door.
"Is everything's ok?" Maya asked him.
Shane smiled at her.
"Yes baby, but there is a reason why I called you to come over." He told her.
"Ok!" Maya smiled. "What's up?"
Shane opens the door and led her inside.
"Sonny!" Shane called out.
Sonny came running down the stairs and hugged Maya tightly.
"Hi Maya!" Sonny smiled. "I can't wait to have you as my sister-in-law someday!"
Maya awed at him and kissed his cheek.
"I'll be honored, buddy." She tells him.
"Well little brother, that someday will be here as soon as possible." Shane tells him.
"Yeah!" Sonny cheered.
Maya looked at her boyfriend, confused.
"Shane, what's going on?" Maya asked.
Robert and Sharleen walked down the stairs to greet Maya.
"My son's beautiful girlfriend." Robert smiled.
"I always knew my future daughter-in-law would be so sweet and a darling." Sharleen smiled.
Grayson Jr. walked out of the kitchen, hanging a ring to Shane.
"Maya, when I first met you…I knew I picked the right girl to be with for the rest of my life." Shane started as he kneels down to his knee.
Maya knew what he was doing, so she quietly covers her mouth.
"And hopefully…someday we can raise a family together." Shane smiled. "Maya Via Lane…will you make me the happiest man alive and…marry me?" He slid the ring to her finger.
Maya had tears in her as so did Maya's mother, Sharleen and Shane's Aunt, Emma. Emma was Grayson's wife, Grayson Jr.'s mother.
"Oh Shane…" Maya spoke. "Yes! Yes, I'll love to be your wife."
She leans down to kiss him on the lips and let Shane stand up, hugging her tightly.
"Congratulations, my boy!" Robert said patting his eldest's shoulder.
Shane smiled at his father and hugged his mother.
"Welcome to the family, son!" Maya's father, Milo said as he shook hands with Shane.
"Thanks Mr. Lane!" Shane smiled.
Shane hugged his soon-to-be in-laws, while Maya did the same with Robert and Sharleen.
"I finally have a sister-in-law!" Sonny smiled.
They awed at him as Shane picks him up and sat him on top of his shoulders.
"Well I'm glad I have a cutest little brother-in-law." Maya smiled.
Sonny blushed, making everyone awed and chuckled at him.
"He's just the cutest!" Maya's mother, Madison gushed.
Again, Sonny beamed red.
