It was now December of 1950, Ashley woke up in her crib. "Mama! Dada" She called out. "Artie!" She looks at the crib, pulling herself up and crawled over the railing, just as she carefully put her feet to the carpet, Archie walks in to see her taking her first step.
"Mom! Dad!" Archie called out.
He crunched down as Derek and Anna came running in.
"Son, what's the matter?" Derek asked.
They took a double take when they saw their baby girl toddling over to Archie.
"She's doing it, honey!" Anna half-whispered.
Derek smiled proudly as Ashley hugs Archie.
"Artie!" Ashley squealed.
They awed at her.
"Baby, you did it!" Anna gushed as she held Ashley in her arms. "Oh, my sweet precious baby girl is growing up way too fast!"
Derek kissed Ashley's head.
"I'm so proud of you, Princess!" Derek smiled. "But you promise us that you wouldn't grow up too fast, babe." He winked.
Ashley grinned, making them chuckled.
"Big!" Ashley squealed.
"Yes you are, baby." Anna smiled, kissing her cheek.
They gushed over her.
