Maya was cleaning the dishes while Shane Jr. was in his highchair, playing with his toys. Maya awed at her baby boy, who was cooing and making baby noises. Just then Shane came inside the house, holding his briefcase. He was a lawyer now. "I'm home!" Shane called out.
He walks in the kitchen, greeting his son.
"Hey buddy!" He smiled, kissing his head.
Shane walks over to Maya and they both shared a kiss.
"Hey gorgeous." Shane spoke.
"Hey!" Maya smiled. "So, how's my hunky lawyer?"
Shane chuckled at her.
"Great, working with a client right now." Shane told her.
"Honey, that's great!" Maya said, hugging him.
"Thanks!" Shane smiled.
"Dada!" They looked over at Shane Jr. who was smiling at them, innocently.
"Did he just…" Shane asked.
"Dada! Mama!" Shane Jr. repeated.
"He said it!" Maya smiled as they rushed over to him as Shane got him out of the highchair.
"That's my baby boy!" Shane smiled proudly.
They gushed over how their little boy was growing up way too fast and giving him kisses on the cheek and Shane tickled him, who was nonstop laughing. They were so blessed to have a family now.
