It is October 16, 1953 and Phil was tossing and turning in his bed, having flashbacks of the army base when he got shot. "Help!" Phil screamed. "Help!" The man had been getting night terrors after the event, everyone were worried for him and felt awful for what he had gone trough.
Peter and Peyton came rushing in his room, Peter tried to shake Phil awake who was shaking violently.
"Come on son, wake up!" Peter shouted. "Come on, it's just a bad nightmare."
Peyton came back in the room, after checking on Putzie and Pammy and quickly getting a wet cloth.
"Oh dear!" Peyton cried.
She gently daps the wet cloth on Phil's forehead and temple.
"Phillip!" Peter shouts, scared of losing his eldest.
Phil finally open his eyes and let out a huge gasps, trying to steady his breathing as Peter soothed his hair while Peyton gently daps the wet cloth on his forehead again.
"Son? Kiddo, you alright?" Peter asked.
Phil gulped and nodded a little.
"Dad..." Phil started.
He made a face as he was in pain cause of his arm.
"Don't talk, dear." Peyton says calmly.
Phil closes his eyes, letting out a breath.
"Just take it easy, son." Peter said. "Are you ok now, buddy?"
Phil just nodded a little, wincing at the pain.
"Come on, you and I can watch television downstairs for a while." Peter suggests.
"No dad, I'll be fine. Really." Phil said sitting up.
Peyton kissed his head.
"Baby, please listen to your father." Peyton says to him.
Phil looks at her and then nodded before standing up as he and Peter went downstairs to watch the game while Peyton made Phil a hot cocoa to calm him down. Peter felt even more worse, he wished he never allowed his boy go to army. But everyone assured him, that it's not his fault. but Peter is still beating himself up, he devoted to make surrey his family are safe and protected. His absolute nightmare is having his children or Peyton are suffering.
