It is now October 5 of 1954 and it was Katelyn's 20th birthday, so of course everyone wanted to throw her a surprise party on the 3rd . But Phil wanted to make it special for her, because he wanted to propose to her. After the party, Phil and Katelyn were watching a romantic movie. "Phil, this is the best day ever!" Katelyn smiled, kissing his cheek.
Phil kissed her head.
"Well the day ain't over yet." He tells her. "Boys!"
They sit up as Kenickie and Putzie ran in the living room.
"Hey Kenny, do you know what I love about you?" Putzie asked.
"What's that, Babyface?" Kenickie asked.
"That you were more of a brother rather than my best friends, even when we're brothers-in-law." Putzie explained.
Kenickie draped his arm around his shoulder.
"So do I, baby brother!" He smiled.
They looked over at Phil and Katelyn with innocent smiles.
"Ok guys, what's going on?" Katelyn asked as Phil stood up when Kayden and Kathleen walked in the room with Peter and Peyton behind the boys, Peyton was holding Pammy in her arms.
Kathleen gave Phil a big hug.
"I am so blessed that my daughter found a good man and it's you." Kayden smiled.
"Thanks, Uncle Kayden." Phil smiled as they shook his hand.
Phil turns to Katelyn, who was really confused.
"Katelyn…" Phil started as he got down to his knee while holding Katelyn's hand. "You were my best friends since birth and then you were my girlfriend since high school…and now…I can see the future is bright, cause the love we have for each other…is so unbreakable…" Katelyn covers her mouth, trying to remain calm.
Phil pulls out a ring out of his pocket.
"So, Katelyn Kristina Murdoch…" He spoke. "Will you make me the happiest man alive…and marry me?" He asked, while slipping the ring into her finger.
Katelyn had tears coming down.
"Yes, yes I will marry you!" Katelyn cried.
They both stood up, kissing while everyone cheered for them.
"Yay!" Pammy squeals.
They awed at her as Phil held her in his arms.
"Oh my sweet firstborn is growing up so fast!" Peyton cried.
Kathleen nods.
"So is Kathy." She adds.
Kayden kissed her head.
"We're brothers now, Kenny!" Putzie beams at Kenickie.
They chuckled at him.
"Babyface, we were already brothers." Kenickie tells him.
"Oh yeah, you're right!" Putzie smiled.
They awed at him as Kenickie ruffled his hair.
"You're adorable, kid." He tells him.
"I know." He smiled proudly, making everyone chuckle at him.
