It is December 12 and it's Zack's 12th birthday. Everyone was celebrating at Dylan and Diane's household. "Thanks for all the gifts and love, everybody!" Zack smiled.

Danny draped his arm around him.

"Anytime, lil' cous." Derek smiled as he kissed his head.

"Bro, I'm 12 now." Zack says.

They chuckled at him while Derek ruffles his hair.

"I can do whatever I want, kid." He smirked, making them laughed.

Just then the doorbell rung and Archie went to open it.

"Hello." A woman greeted.

"Mom, dad…" Archie spoke.

They all went to the door to see who was at the door.

"Mother?" Zack asked.

It was Zack's mother Zoey, who had abandoned him when he was only 6 years old.

"Oh, thanked heavens you're alright!" Diane said hugging her eldest sister. "Come in."

Diane leads Zoey into the house, Zack was still trying to wrapped his mind around. He was shocked. When Zoey looks over at her son, she smiles with tears in her eyes.

"My…you grown so tall, my baby boy." Zoey says.

But Zack didn't respond.

"Uh, Zoey…how about we all sit down." Dylan suggests.

"Sure, I'm sure you guys have a lot a questions." She said.

They walked in the living room, Zoey sat down on the couch.

"Zoey, where have you been?" Diane asked. "Me, mom, dad, Allie and Georgie have been worrying sick."

"I know sweetie and I am so sorry." She apologized.

"Is that all you can say?" Zack finally spoke.

They looked over at Zack.

"My sweet boy, I am so sorry for running off on you like that." Zoey says.

"You abandoned me! Your own son!" Zack snaps.

"Zacky, let me explain." Zoey plead.

"No, no, I just…I can't look at you right now!" Zack said, storming out of the house.

"We'll go after him." Danny offers,

The T-Birds ran after him.

"Yo Zack, wait up!" Danny called out.

Zack stops, but not wanting to turn.

"Look kid, I know you're upset." Danny spoke. "And we don't blame you."

Zack just turned slowly, revealing them that he was crying.

"Oh kid…" Kenickie whispers.

Putzie gave him a big hug.

"It's gonna be ok, buddy." Putzie said.

Danny puts his hands on Zack's shoulders.

"I know you're mad at ya mother, but let's hear her side of the story. Ok?" Danny asked.

Zack lets out a deep sigh.

"Ok?" Danny asked again.

Zack lets out a big sigh and nods a little.

"Ok." He mumbles.

Putzie draped his arm around him as they walked back to the house.

"Zackary, baby boy…" Zoey started. "I know you must hate me, but it was not about you."

Zack looks over at his Aunt and Uncle.

"I never meant to hurt you, kiddo." Zoey tells him. "And with me running off on you…it has nothing to do with you. Honest."

Zack looked back at his mother.

"How about I take you out for a birthday dinner?" Zoey asked.

Zack looks down and Derek put his hand on his shoulder.

"Go kid, it'll be great for you and Aunt Zoey." He tells her.

"Please?" Zoey begged.

Zack looks over at Danny who gave him a small nod and then he walked over to the door.

"Where do we go to eat?" Zack asked.

Zoey smiled and walked over to him, kissing his head.

"Anywhere you want, my baby boy." She smiled.

They both walked outside and Diane ran after her eldest sister.

"Zoey, wait…" She starts. "I need to know if you're ok and wherever you were, I hope you were safe."

Zoey smiled at her younger sister and gave her a big hug.

"I'm alright, I just…needed to get my life straighten out…not just for me, for Zacky as well."

Diane smiled.

"He really missed you." She tells her.

"I know and I feel so guilty." Zoey admits. "I don't think I can ever forgive myself."

"Well you should forgive yourself." Diane said. "Yes, what you did was stupid…but people make mistakes and we just need to forget the past and look for a better future for ourselves."

Zoey just nods.

"I know." She spoke. "How are mom, dad, Allie and Georgie?"

Diane smiled.

"They're good, but they're gonna be so happy that you're back." Diane said.

Zoey chuckled at her.

"I'm glad to hear that." She said.

"Ok, you two have a great time. Bye Zack!" Diane waved.

"Bye Aunt Diane!" Zack waved as the two sisters hugged each others tightly.

"You girls need to stop growing up so fast." Zoey whispers.

Diane laughs.

"But we're with the love our lives." She smiled. "And I know you'll find yours, someday."

Zoey just nods while Diane waved to them before going back inside and Zoey got in her car.

"Ok Zacky, where do you wanna go for your birthday dinner?" Zoey asked her son.

"Frosty Palace." Zack spoke.

Zoey chuckles at him.

"You got it, birthday boy." Zoey smiled.

"You still remember my birthday?" Zack asked.

Zoey felt her heart stings.

"Of course, my sweet baby boy." Zoey said. "Every year when December 12th comes around…I always prayed to God to make your birthdays the best…and to keep you safe and happy."

Zack looks out the window.

"So…where did you run away too?" He asked.

Zoey lets out a sigh.

"I was trying to find myself." She states. "I didn't like the way my life was…I felt like I was hurting you."

"Hurting me?" Zack asked. "You never hurt me in your life."

"No, I did…I hurt you by being with your father just so you can have a father…and when I…When Uncle Robert took your father in jail…I was scared." Zoey explained.

"Of what?" Zack asked.

"That he'll go after you." She states. "Which now that I think of it, I should've just protected you and not run like a coward."

Zack lets out a deep sigh.

"And I was jealous of my sisters 'cause they have a great family and they were well adjusted…I just thought I was always a failure. Ever since I was a kid." She adds.

Zack felt bad for his mother.

"But you're not." He spoke. "I mean yeah, what you did was wrong and unmotherly…but you were never a failure." He adds.

Zoey lets out a sigh as they enter the Frosty Palace parking lot, before stopping her car and then looks over at Zack.

"I am so sorry, my sweet baby boy." She tells him. "And I know it's gonna take a long time for you to ever forgive me." She adds.

Zack looks up at her.

"I forgive you, mother." He tells her. "You're my mom and I will always love you."

Zoey smiled with in her eyes and then gently soothed his hair.

"Come on." She spoke.

They both got out of the car.

"What do you to get here?" Zoey asks.

"I love to get Frosty." Zack tells her.

Zoey chuckles at him.

"Well that'll be your birthday desert." She says.

"Thanks mom." Zack smiled.

Zoey smiles as she ruffles his hair before entering Frosty and sat down at the booth.

"So where did you go after all these years?" Zack asked.

Zoey lets out a sigh.

"I was…I was living in Nevada." She told him.

"Oh." All Zack said.

"I didn't wanna show you this," She starts as she pulls out a photo. "Because I was afraid how you would react." Zack takes the photo.

It was a picture of Zoey with a man and a little girl.

"Who are they?" Zack asked.

"This here," Zoey said, pointing at the man in the photo. "Is…is my husband Zeke and this darling little girl is, Zora. She's your half-sister."

Zack looks up at her.

"Zack…I understand if you hate me now…I just…I'm so sorry." Zoey says, with tears in her eyes.

Zack looked back down at the photo and then back at his mother.

"When can I meet them?" He asked.

Zoey smiled a little.

"Whenever you're ready, my sweet baby boy." She spoke.

"This guy…Zeke, what's he like?" Zack asked.

Zoey held his hand.

"He is a huge sweetheart…not like your father." She tells him. "In fact, he quit his job to move back here once he found out about you."

"He did?" He asked.

Zoey nods.

"He sure did." Zoey replied.

"How old is Zora?" Zack asked.

"She's just turned 5, 2 days ago." Zoey told him. "Zora is the sweetest little girl ever, she wanted to meet her big brother when she found out too." Zack smiled a little.

"Can we go see them now?" Zack asked.

"But we didn't have dinner yet." Zoey says.

"I know, but I wanna meet Zora, my baby sister." Zack says.

Zoey smiled.

"If that what you want, then you got it buddy." Zoey said.

They both stood up, saying goodbye to the waitress Vi before leaving.

~Back At Zoey's House~

Zoey and Zack arrived to the house, Zack looked up at the house.

"You ready, buddy?" Zoey asked softly.

Zack just nods as they both got out.

"It's gonna be alright, my sweet baby boy." Zoey said as they walked up to the porch.

They walked inside.

"Hello!" Zoey called out.

Zack stood behind his mother, when a man enter from the kitchen.

"Hey darlin'." The man greeted.

Zoey and the man shared a kiss.

"And this must be little Zack." The man smiled. "I'm Zeke Trusten."

Zack just looks at him, not knowing what to do.

"Look son, I know you're a little nervous…but I am so happy that I finally got to meet you." Zeke told him. "I've always wanted a son."

Zoey kissed Zack's head.

"It's ok, honey." Zoey whispers.

Zack slowly reaches to shake Zeke's hand.

"It's very nice to meet you, Mr. Trusten." Zack finally spoke.

"You too, kiddo." Zeke smiled. "And if you want, you can call me dad."

Zack just nods as they looked over to see a little girl running down the stairs.

"Is this him, mommy? Is this Zacky?" The little girl squealed.

They chuckled at her.

"Yes, my sweet baby girl," Zoey smiled. "This is your big brother, Zack."

Zora hugs Zack.

"I love you, big brother!" Zora said looking up at him.

Zack awed at her and patted her back.

"I love you too, lil' sis." Zack smiled.

"Come on, let's have a chat and get to know one another." Zeke suggests.

Zora drags Zack's arm into the living room.

"Careful of his arm, sweetie." Zoey chuckled.

Zack sat on the chair with Zora on his lap while Zoey and Zeke sat down on the couch.

"I heard it's your birthday today." Zeke spoke. "Zora and I went shopping and got you this."

He stood up to going in the other room and brought the bike in.

"Your mom said that you always loved to be like your Uncles and cousins, so I got you this." Zeke said.

Zack stood up Zora as he stood up to see his brand new bike.

"I also painted it, blue." Zeke adds.

"Of course I got you a helmet." Zoey spoke. "Don't want my sweet baby boy getting hurt."

Zeke chuckles at his wife.

"C'mon son, let's test it out." Zeke said as they all went outside.

Zack got on his brand new bike.

"Don't forget your helmet, Zacky!" Zora said, handing him the helmet.

Zack awed at her.

"Thanks kid." Zack smiled.

Zack puts his helmet on.

"Let me do it, buddy." Zoey offers.

Zack chuckled at her, while Zoey strapped his helmet tight.

"Thanks mom." Zack spoke.

Zeke got his bike out as well.

"Come on, you and I can go for a ride." Zeke said.

"Ok." Zack said.

They both got on their bikes.

"Don't go too fast, Zack." Zoey smiled.

"I'll be fine, mother." Zack smiled.

They both rode off while Zoey sits on the porch with Zora next to her.

"Mommy, I love Zacky!" Zora smiled.

Zoey smiled at her daughter and kissed her head.

"I do too, sweet baby girl." She said.

~A Little While~

Zoey and Zora were still sitting outside on the porch.

"Look mommy!" Zora shouts, pointing to Zeke and Zack riding back.

Zeke and Zack got off of their bikes.

"How was the bike ride?" Zoey asked.

"Great!" Zeke smiled.

Zack nodded.

"Mommy, when is Zacky gonna live with us?" Zora asked.

Zack looks at his mother.

"Oh dear, it's up to Zack if he wanna move in." Zoey told her.

Zora walks over to Zack.

"I would love my big brother to live with us!" Zora smiled.

Zack lets out a sigh.

"Um…" Zack started.

"Hey, don't stress out so much on the thought." Zeke assured him. "But we would love to welcome you into our home."

Zack just nods.

"I'll think about it." He said.

Zoey smiled and stood up, kissing his head.

"Take all your time, sweetie." She told her. "C'mon, let's go back to your Aunt Diane's house so we can introduced Zeke and Zora to them."

"Ok." Zack says.

Zeke puts both bike away as they both got in Zoey's car.

"I love you big brother!" Zora squeals, hugging his arm.

They awed at her.

"I love you too, kid." Zack smiled down at her.

"How old are you?" She asked.

"12." He answers.

"Wow, you're older than me!" Zora smiled.

They chuckled at the cuteness in her.

"Yep!" Zack laughs.

Zora kissed Zack's cheek and cuddled in his arm, Zack wanted to be with his mother again, but he loved living with Derek, Anna, Archie, Ashley, Oliver and Olivia.
