I took a break because a family member died in November and I did not feel in the mood to update stories.

There will be weekly, hopefully, daily updates now as I took a break from school.

-Day 18: The Ayuzawa Family-

"My girls are all grown up now." Minako sighed looking at old photos in her living room. Suzuna had moved out a few years ago and with Misaki staying with Takumi in England, the house got quite lonely at times when Sakuya went to work.

She smiled remembering the old times where she was glad to see her daughters falling in love. Despite their living situation in the past, her daughters were always happy and worked to make the most of it.

Minako was thankful for Takumi coming into Misaki's life. She used to wonder when her daughter would stop hating men and hoped Misaki wouldn't stay by herself. Thankfully Takumi was able to break down those walls and let Misaki experience love outside of her family.

Hinata had also charmed her younger daughter. With her daughter who showed little to no emotion, she was surprised when Suzuna said she would start dating Hinata. She knew her daughter liked Hinata but she had thought it was just a crush on a childhood friend that would pass. Since Suzuna and Hinata started to date, Minako saw a slight change in Suzuna's personality as she started to express her emotions more.

She wanted her girls to go out and experience a world of happiness but she still missed the old days where they all lived together.

"Ah, my back is aching," Sakuya said bringing in the groceries he picked up along the way.

"Be careful honey," Minako told her husband.

After Sakuya returned he took a job at the maid latte. He wanted to help Satsuki for all she did in the past taking care of Misaki. Minako thought he should try to open his restaurant again. She knew he had a love for food and being in his kitchen where he could make up new dishes. Now that she stopped working at her daughter's request, she could help him out if he decided to open one.

"I will! You don't have to get up and help me Minako. I'm still strong." He started lifting the bags which were previously hurting his back.

"Yes, dear."

"I'll make us some dinner-"

"Yes, we made it just in time!" Hinata cheered at the sound of food as he entered the living room. His wife Suzuna following behind him.

"Mom! Dad!" Suzuna greeted her parents. "Lucky we get to taste dad's cooking tonight."

"Oh Suzuna, Hinata. Why didn't you say you were coming over? I would've started dinner sooner," Minako said greeting Suzuna with a hug.

"We wanted to surprise you. Oh, Misaki's calling. Hello sis!"

"Hi, Suzuna. Mom? Are you guys having dinner together? I wish I was there."

"Should we fly out there tomorrow?" Minako heard Takumi ask.

"Can we?" Misaki wondered excitedly. "You have all your obligations here though. I will travel alone."

"You plan to leave me alone Misa?" Takumi pouted using his infamous puppy dog eyes.

"Idiot," Misaki muttered knowing this was her weakness.

Minako chuckled at their "argument". When they were together it seemed like nothing ever changed in the Ayuzawa household.
