AN: I'm honestly still surprised by how much attention this fic gets! Thank you all for your support!
Satsuki was having fun in Namimori.
Mostly, of course, because Tetsu-kun was there, but also because his cousin was a sweetheart with very interesting friends. She'd had a field day analysing all the teenagers that had come over to meet them last night.
And the baby.
Oh, the baby. Satsuki hadn't met anybody so fascinating in her life. She knew who he was, of course. You couldn't be as adept at information gathering as Momoi Satsuki and not come across some very interesting things.
And this was on the normal internet!
What a magical place. If Satsuki hadn't promised Dai-chan that she would stop poking around on the dark web, she was sure that she could have dug up even more interesting tid-bits.
After lunch at Yamamoto Takeshi's father's sushi restaurant, the three – now four – teenagers headed back to Tsunayoshi's house. There wasn't a whole lot to do in Namimori, and Tetsu-kun had come to meet his family anyway. Satsuki, who, after pacifying Dai-chan with the promise of a 1v1 with Kagamin, was feeling quite pleased with herself.
The only thing that would make it better…
"Herbivores."
"Hiiieee!"
Ooh.
A tall, black haired boy who wore menace like a cloak prowled right up into Tsunayoshi's face, eyes narrowed and tonfa in hand. Tsunayoshi looked- well, terrified was putting it lightly. Still, Reborn seemed more amusedly annoyed (by Tsunayoshi himself) than anything, so Satsuki didn't think it was something to be too worried about.
Besides, Hibari Kyouya had a very wide-spread reputation on the internet (that magical, magical place). Seeing him in the flesh was invigorating. Satsuki rather wished she could see him in action too, but since Tsunayoshi was a nice boy who didn't deserve to be beat up, she figured she could shelve that desire until next time.
"Momoi-san, you know something."
Tetsu-kun's voice was only just loud enough for her to hear. Satsuki smiled and linked their arms together. "He's a very important person in this town, Tetsu-kun," she explained just as quietly. "Your cousin isn't in any danger."
Well. Not life-threatening danger, at least.
Tetsu-kun gave her a knowing look. She patted his hand reassuringly and his mouth curved up in the barest hint of a smirk. On Tsunayoshi's other side, Yamamoto's bright grin was completely at odds with the dark atmosphere that Hibari had brought down upon them.
"Haha, hey, Hibari! Whatcha doing?"
Hibari didn't move, only his eyes sliding over to glare at Yamamoto. "Patrolling."
The implied 'what else?' was scathing, even in silence. Satsuki was quite impressed.
"Uwah, Hibari-san, did you want something?" Tsunayoshi asked, leaning as far back on his heels as he could manage. His big brown eyes were even wider than usual, but at least the stark terror on his face had been replaced with a nervous not-quite-grin.
"Who are they."
"Oh!" Now Tsunayoshi did step back, gesturing loosely at his cousin. "Don't worry, Hibari-san, they're not like Dino-san, or Xanxus-san and them. My cousin just came to visit from Tokyo. Kuroko Tetsuya and his friend, Momoi Satsuki."
Satsuki smiled brightly, wiggling her fingers in greeting. Next to her, Tetsu-kun bowed with a "Nice to meet you."
Watching Hibari closely, Satsuki wouldn't say that he looked anything close to worried. Disappointed, maybe. Definitely displeased in some fashion. He re-sheathed his tonfa, which seemed to relieve Tsunayoshi considerably, and tched.
"Don't let them disturb the peace, Herbivore."
He strolled off without looking back, leaving Tsunayoshi to apologise profusely (for what, Satsuki wasn't sure. She had greatly enjoyed the entire experience).
Yamamoto just laughed. "At least Gokudera wasn't here, haha!"
Considering how much regard Gokudera Hayato had for Tetsu-kun's cousin, Satsuki was honestly a little disappointed that he wasn't. It would have made for a very interesting situation, although possibly a little more stressful for poor Tsunayoshi.
"Speaking of Gokudera," Reborn, who had migrated from Tsunayoshi's head to Tetsu-kun's arms, easily claimed the attention of the four teenagers. "You might want to hurry up, Dame-Tsuna. Your right-hand man has been waiting on you for awhile, and you know how he gets."
Tsunayoshi's high pitched "Hiiieeee!" didn't quite drown out Tetsu-kun's quiet murmur.
"Right hand man?"
Waiting alone at the train station, Ryouta was just about vibrating out of his shoes with excitement. There were several reasons for this, but mostly it was because he was going on an adventure with Aominecchi and Kagamicchi, and at the end of that adventure, Kurokocchi and Momocchi were waiting!
Ryouta had been way beyond shocked when he'd absently checked out his snapchat map earlier that day and Kurokocchi's cute little bitmoji had not only been visible on it, but also located in Kanagawa. That was why he'd rung Akashicchi, because Akashi generally knew everything. Except he hadn't known anything about it.
So Ryouta was pretty relieved when Aominecchi ended up texting him before he could go haring off on his own; at least if he showed up with both of Kurokocchi's lights in tow, the punishment was bound to be lighter (hah. Punny). Unless it wasn't, because Momocchi was also there, and she would not be impressed with Dai-chan's antics.
But whatever! Whatever would happen, would happen, and Ryouta was sure that assuaging his rampant curiosity was worth it.
When the train carrying his friends pulled in, Ryouta started dancing on the spot, jumping from foot to foot and keeping an avid eye on the doors. It wasn't hard to spot the two when they disembarked; two guys over six feet tall, one with blue hair and one with red.
They were also arguing. Loudly.
Ryouta huffed a laugh. They really couldn't get along for even a minute, could they?
"Oiiiii, Aominecchi! Kagamicchi! Over here~" He waved one hand in the air, watching with amusement as his friends made their way towards him, bumping and jostling each other the whole way.
"Sup, Kise."
"Hey. We going straight from here?" Aominecchi gestured at the gym bag hanging off Ryouta's shoulder.
"Mm. Namimori's just another quick train ride away. Hope you two aren't too sick of travelling." Ryouta grinned at Kagamicchi's long-suffering expression.
"I can't believe you idiots are really going to so much effort just to be nosey," the redhead groused. "I knew you were all creepy obsessed bastards, but this is next level."
"Uwahh, Kagamicchi, tell us how you really feel!"
Aominecchi shoved both of them. "C'mon, assholes, I wanna get there already. Tetsu and Satsuki have a lot to answer for."
The glower on his face was fierce, but Ryouta knew him well enough to recognise the pout that he was hiding underneath it. Ryouta tipped his head at Kagamicchi in silent question.
He heaved out a giant sigh. "We think Kuroko and Momoi started dating secretly, and that's why he brought her down here to meet his family."
Ryouta's brain- shut down. Went blank for one second, two. Rebooted, whirring furiously.
"What?!"
AN: I'm always sorry for the wait between chapters, but I can't ever really promise to be better, because that would be a lie. This is why I'm so grateful that you all stick around! Thanks for reading guys, thoughts welcome as always.
