It was on days like this that Rogue wondered why he was best friends with Sting. The blond wouldn't shut up about how amazing Yukino was, but was too much of a coward to ask her out. At some point, the two had made a bet that whoever got a girlfriend first would get all the payment from their next job. Now what Sting didn't know was that Rogue had actually started dating Kagura a few weeks ago, but he would let Sting win this once. Frosch had other plans and proceeded to tell Sting about Rogue and Kagura's relationship.
"I'm going to kill her!" Sting yelled as he ran out of the guildhall. Rogue would have tried to stop him if it weren't for the small sniffling coming from Frosch.
"Is Sting really going to kill Kagura? Is it because of what I said?" Frosch cried, clinging onto Rogue's arm.
"No, she won't let him," Rogue said as he picked up his companion and went to pick out a job.
Meanwhile, Sting arrived at the Mermaid Heel guildhall, still trying to recover from the train ride, and stormed in.
"Kagura! You're dating Rogue!?" Sting yelled before being pushed against the wall by the swordswoman.
"How did you find out?" Kagura asked in a low voice, her gaze piercing through the squirming blond.
"Frosch" Sting squeaked, praying she would let him go.
Kagura let go of Sting and sat down trying to mentally prepare for all the prying questions her guildmates would no doubt have. Though she did make a note to talk to Rogue about what he shares with the exceed.
