Donnie's shoulder screamed in pain as the bright blue light started to fade, clinging onto Raph as he tried not to be sick.

"That…" Mikey retched a little, "… was unpleasant."

In the background, he heard someone shouting, but his mind was so fuzzy and his shoulder hurt so much, that he couldn't actually focus on what was being said.

"I feel like I've been turned inside out and back again." Raph groaned, looking down at Donnie and wincing at the look of pain that he saw on the younger teen's face. "Are you okay?"

Donnie shook his head a little weakly, looking around, feeling like they were being watched.

….

Professor Honeycut found himself intrigued by what he saw.

"What happened?" The one with orange hair glanced around," That light? The strange light? Those weird alien robots? Where did it all go?!"

"I think you mean, where did we go?" The blue-haired one looked around, before focusing on the injured purple-haired one, "Donnie, this looks really bad."

"I know." Donnie muttered, glancing over the red-haired one's shoulder and squeaking in alarm at the sight of the armed soldiers standing there, "I get the feeling we're not meant to be here."

The guards' guns clicked as they aimed them at the boys.

"The natives sure don't look friendly." Mikey whispered to Leo, only half joking around.

Leo nodded, "Well… sometimes the best defence- "

"- is a round of serious ass-kicking." Raph pulled a handful of projectiles out of his pocket, tossing them up and down in his hand as he charged them up, handing Donnie over to Leo with his remaining arm, "Create some mist for us?"

Leo took Donnie and nodded in agreement, watching Mikey shift into a tiger as he leapt at the guards, followed by the sound of little explosions as Raph also leapt into the fight.

Thanks to the mist (in Leo's humble opinion), the fight was over pretty quickly, the guards all unconscious on the ground.

"What the hell was all that about?" Leo hissed, placing Donnie on his feet so that he could examine the wound a little closer.

"Whatever it was…" Donnie hissed as Leo gently poked at the edges of it, "… but it's not over yet! Look!"

There were torches at the other end of the alleyway, prompting Leo to make the mist a little thicker around them. "It's fight or flight time."

"I vote fight."

Mikey chuckled, "You always choose fight… but what about Donnie?"

"I can somewhere to hide until it's over?"

"Umm, hello?"

They all turned to see a robot staring out at them, waving his arm at them.

"Young, colourful beings of the fae? This way, quickly!"

Needless to say, they obeyed pretty quickly when the guards started firing blindly into the mist, knowing that there was a threat there, but not knowing exactly where it was.

"Hurry! Hurry! Those Federation troops won't give up so easily!"

Lifting Donnie back into his arms, Raph and the others followed on behind him, racing up some stairs, to the top of a building.

"Another dead end." Leo hissed.

Mikey glanced behind them, "And here comes the un-welcome wagon!"

Leo was the first to see what looked like a garbage truck heading up the 'road' towards them. "Quick! Jump!"

"No!" Warbled the bot, "I hate heights!"

"How do you feel about laser guns?!"

They all jumped off, Raph making sure to land on his back and soften the blow for Donnie, as they then watched the robot running over the rooftop.

"I DON'T LIKE THIIIIIISSS!" The robot jumped, nearly missing the truck and clinging onto the back, before Mikey and Leo helped him inside.

It was then that they finally got the chance to look around their surroundings a little better.

"Where are we?" Leo asked, as his brothers all looked over the side of the truck.

"I get the feeling we ain't in Manhattan anymore." Raph sighed, staring at the futuristic buildings and roads, "Donnie?"

"… I don't even think we're on Earth anymore."

The truck came to a stop, and they all climbed out.

"Earth?" The robot queried, "How did children of the Fae come to be on Earth?"

"You keep saying that, but we don't know what you mean." Leo sighed, "We need to find some sort of medical supplies for Donnie."

"Do you boys even realise that you're in the wrong galaxy?" The robot continued, "If you are from Earth- "

"- WHERE ARE WE?!" Raph snapped.

"Calm down." The robot almost sounded indignant, "You're on the planet Duhoonib, in the Sydion System. Federation Territory."

"Definitely in another galaxy." Donnie whispered, "Leo, what about- "

"- I know." Leo knew exactly what Donnie was thinking.

Their father was so far away now… so helpless.

Raph seemed to know what they were thinking as well, placing a hand on Leo's shoulder, "We'll find a way to get back."

"But we don't even know how we got zapped here in the first place." Donnie whispered, "How- "

"- Yes, that question has been vexing me as well." The robot cut Donnie off, "How did you boys materialise like that? Is that one of your powers? Even so, you shouldn't have been able to travel this far! Not without exhausting yourself."

"… How do you know about our powers?" Leo whispered.

"You are children of the fae!"

"We don't know what that- "

"- We've got company!"

From up the streets, more guards were heading towards them, making Raph groan, "More of these bozos."

Donnie was the first to spot the major difference between the previous attack and this one. "Don't look now... but those bozos brought a tank!"

"Bad guys always have the best toys." Mikey whined, "Donnie, why don't we- "

"- Not now Mikey!"

Seeing that they were surrounded, the five of them headed into a nearby market stall, spotting the sewer entrance almost immediately.

They all looked the same, no matter what planet or what galaxy you were in.

They all landed nimbly on the ground, as Leo pulled his shirt off, cutting a strip off of the bottom of it to wrap around Donnie's shoulder.

"To stop infection." he explained, putting it back on and wincing when he saw that he'd basically made himself a crop top.

Whatever.

He could pull it off.

"Check out these fancy sewers!" Mikey exclaimed, "Forget about infection, you could probably eat off of these walls!" His stomach rumbled right on cue, "If only we actually had some food!" He paused, hearing movement from the nearby tunnels as an elderly turtle limped out, followed by four young rats.

"Woah…" He muttered, "… Bizzarro world!"

Would it look stranger if it were the other way around?

Probably.

They walked through the water, as Donnie turned to the robot. "So, what's your story?" He asked, "Why are those soldiers after you?"

"Hmm, yes… I do suppose I owe you a full explanation. You see, I am Professor Honeycutt… or at least I used to be."

And then he told them the story of his past life.

How he was inspired by the legendary powers of the fae and worked on a device that would enhance mental powers, like telepathy and telekinesis.

The General of the military on this planet wanted him to build a teleportation machine, that would be used for war instead of peace.

Still wearing the device, he went to save his robot helper during a storm, when they were both hit with lightening. His body was destroyed, but his mind was transferred into the robot… a robot who had no rights.

The General could force him to build whatever he wished him to.. or take it from him forcefully.

Hence the chase.

Leo only seemed to get happier and happier with each sentence, "Guys…. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"That an extra-large serving of Kung-Pow chicken would be perfect right about now?"

They all ignored Mikey, as Raph leaned forwards, "The Professor's teleporter, right?"

"Right." Leo beamed, "If the Professor here…"

"… can build his teleporter…" Donnie continued.

"… Then we can use it to go home." Finished Raph.

"Home." Mikey whispered almost wistfully (although they were sure that it was only because he was hungry) "No offense Doctor Roboto. The sewers on this planet are nice, but they don't have that same sewer-fresh stank that our sewers have."

Raph nodded in agreement, looking around, "How do they keep these sewers so clean?"

There was a rumbling in the distance, as a mechanical creature rounded the corner, it's 'mouth' a gaping hole of whirring blades, which chewed up anything and everything that long, robotic arms put into it.

"I think that helps!" Donnie yelped, feeling Raph scoop him back up into his arms again as they all started to run, "Wait! I can try and drain the power from it!"

"No time for that!"

They all ran and ran and ran, with Mikey glancing behind them.

"IT'S GAINING ON US!"

"We can't out-run it!" Donnie pleaded, "If I can get close enough, I can drain the power from it! I know I can!"

"Not before you're eaten!"

"He's right!" Leo sighed, "We need to slow it down first though. Raph, Mikey, you focus on that, I'll take out the arms."

Raph placed Donnie against the wall, watching as Mikey turned into an elephant, standing up on his hind legs to stop the creature from going any further as Raph through mini explosives at it I an attempt to damage it.

Leo used his katana to slice through the metal arms, before cutting a slice of pipe from the main system and helping Mikey hold the robot in place.

"Donnie! Hurry!"

Ignoring the pain in his shoulder, Donnie moved away from the wall, holding both hands out in front of him and taking a deep breath.

It was possible that this robot ran on a completely different kind of power, one that Donnie couldn't manipulate, but he couldn't think about that too much.

He had to save his brothers.

Closing his eyes, he only vaguely heard his brothers cry out in alarm when the robot got free, but by that time it was too late for it. Gritting his teeth, he fell to his knees as whatever the power this robot was running on, surged into his system.

"Donnie!"

He hadn't seen the robot shutting down, metal panels closing over the mouth. He was too focused on trying not to explode.

"Donnie, are you- Ah!"

Mikey had reached out to check on him, only to squeak and jump back when he received a nasty shock.

"Don't touch him." Leo snapped, looking around, "And get out of the water… just in case he can't keep it contained."

"We need to keep going." Raph sighed, "We need to get out of here."

"Donnie? Do you think you can hold it?"

Donnie nodded shakily. It was a slight lie, but he was determined to make sure it became a truth.

They moved through the sewers, everyone keeping a wide berth from Donnie as they finally found a way back up onto the streets. One by one, they climbed up, with Donnie being the final one. It was a slow process, what with his shoulder being hurt, meaning that he was only able to use one arm, but without the others being able to touch him, that was the only option they had.

"Are you okay?" Leo asked his youngest brother softly, one hand reaching out, only to freeze when the air crackled around it, almost warningly.

"I-I need to get rid of it, Leo." He whimpered, "It-it's going to- "

"- We'll find somewhere Donnie, we will."

They moved further into the back alleyways, as Raph shook his head, "How, there are guards everywhere?"

"We need to get out of the city then! Raph, take Donnie and see if you can find some transportation. Maybe he can expel some of the energy by getting it starting."

"Sounds good." Raph nodded, "Back in a bit."

Donnie followed after his brother, as Mikey glanced between them and Leo.

"I… I'm going to keep an eye on them!"

Raph eyed the tank thoughtfully, looking over at Donnie, "Do you think you can push enough of that energy in there?"

"I-I hope so."

"Great... be right back."

Leaving Donnie hidden in the shadows, Raph snuck over to the tank, sneaking in through the open top hatch and knocking out the two guards inside. once he was sure that they were out cold, he threw them out and popped his head up through the open hatch, waving for Donnie to make his way over.

"Think this'll do it?"

Donnie placed his hands on the control panel, sighing in relief as the pressure in his head lessened slightly and the tank roared to life. "Much better."

"Alright... now scooch over. I want to drive."

Slowly, Raph moved the tank through the streets, only to see a familiar, orange-haired teen race right at them, two guards following on behind.

"Oh look." Raph sighed, "It's our idiot."

Donnie couldn't contain his giggles when Mikey looked panicked at the thought that he was blocked in at all sides.

"I guess I'd better save him." Raph sighed, "Unless he actually decides to use his powers? A rat would be useful right about now."

Mikey shifted into a bear and growled at the guards.

"Something you can easily escape as." Raph groaned, "Like a rat!"

Sighing, he lowered the cannon so that it acted as a barrier between Mikey and the guards. He then swung it violently to the right, so that it knocked the guards into nearby stalls, sending alien fruit flying everywhere.

"Mikey!" Raph opened up the hatch, smirking down at his twin, who shifted back, "Quite fooling around! We have to go and get the others."

…..

"Nothing like travelling in style." Donnie sighed in relief as he pushed a little more of the energy into the tank, already feeling a lot calmer.

"Couldn't you two have boosted something a little less… conspicuous?!" Leo groaned, seeing the wide eyed looks the tank was getting as it moved through the streets, "Something that blends in a little better?"

"Not something that would have taken all the energy out of Donnie without exploding… besides, this puppy's practically invisible it's blending in so well."

They past some other tanks, which then started to pursue them, clearly registering it as a stolen tank.

"Yeah… real invisible."

Raph gave him a sheepish smile.

The other tanks started shooting, one hitting the left side of the tank, sending it rocking from side to side violently.

"Someone figure out how to return fire!" Leo yelled, eyes automatically turning to Donnie, before he forced himself to look away.

He couldn't ask a thirteen-year-old to do that.

Donnie seemed to be already searching for it though.

"Sorry!" He called out, "My Doohibian is a little rusty!"

"Someone needs to figure it out!" Raph called out, as they rounded the corner, "Or we're going to be smoked meat in a can!"

Donnie didn't look up at him, eyes on a blue orb in front of him.

"Perhaps I can be of some service?" Professor Honeycut piped up, jumping forwards and heading over to the main controls, one hand turning into what looked like a jacked-up USB stick, "One of the perks of this robot body…" He stuck it into a port, "… wait… yes! I have weapons control!"

They continued to zoom through the streets, Honeycutt blasting any tanks in front of them and Raph knocking into buildings to get rid of their pursuers, they took advantage of the smoke and climbed out.

"Put the tank into auto-pilot and send it forwards." Leo instructed Raph, "We'll slip into the shadows and hope that they'll be too distracted with that to search for us. By the time they realise we're gone, we'll have a head start."

"Shall I charge it to blow? Create a little more chaos."

"Do it."

Raph did, with glee, letting the tank move forwards as they all slipped back into obscurity.

Unaware that there was more than one group looking for Honeycutt.
