Hello everyone!
No chapter today I'm afraid, but it only felt right to give you all a brief update given how long its been since the last chapter was posted. "Bloodstained Souls" has NOT been abandoned. Without going into too much personal detail, several things have kept me from devoting much time to any of my stories.
I recently finished college, and I found myself spending most of my free time making sure that my grades stayed in top form. Everything worked out fine on that end, but I also had to deal with a few medical issues related to extreme stress. My roommate even had to take me to the ER one night for what turned out to be a pretty bad panic attack. Not very fun, I assure you. There were several moments over the past few months when I actually tried to sit down and write, but I was never really satisfied with anything I put to paper. The newest chapter is almost finished, but I really want to be happy with what I have before uploading it.
Now that I no longer have to worry about school, I SHOULD have more free time to write. However, I will also need to start looking for a job that pertains to my major, instead of returning to the basic job I had previously. I'm not too worried about that, but it is still something that needs to be done.
Again, I am VERY sorry for how long I've been away. Life hits you unexpectedly sometimes, and you mostly just have to roll with the punches. But with all of that said, "Bloodstained Souls" is my baby. I would never dream of letting it die without a very good reason. If I ever had to stop writing new content, I would make sure to tell you guys why.
Thank you all for your support over the years. It really means a lot, and although I know this story has received its fair share of hate, it really makes me happy to see how many people have enjoyed it thus far.
