Let's Go On An Adventure
Amidst the rubble of a lonely tower, a blond man awoke.
"Merlin?" he grumbled.
"Not here," an ancient voice said. "Just Emrys now." Sarcasm.
Arthur rolled his eyes. "I thought I was dead."
"You were, but you've come back."
Arthur blinked. "Why?"
Merlin laughed humourlessly. "The world has gone insane. Donald Trump has been elected President of the United States. The United Kingdom is leaving the EU, a thing called Brexit. ISIS is terrorizing places all across the globe."
"Is there anything else you'd like to tell me, Merlin?"
Laughter. "The Cubs just won the World Series."
Again, this was done purely for fun. I did not mean to offend. But hopefully you found this to be hilarious. I don't know much about Brexit, but I felt it necessary to include.
