Sailor Venus and the Quest For Power Ups!

Rick and Morty.

"Oh fuck, you AGAIN," Rick Sanchez blurted. They were standing on a alien world, and there was various pieces of wreckage around.

Sailor Venus blinked, "We've met?"

The tall, somewhat scraggly looking scientist pushed his grey hair back, "Well, we will meet. I think you're time travelling somewhat."

"And part of it was the time beacon you made," the brown haired young man added.

"Morty, not the time," Rick said.

Venus nodded, "Any interesting magic or technology I can borrow?"

Rick looked her over, "Actually, I think that's one of my guns you've got. Huh." He burped.

A swirling green portal opened up, and ANOTHER Rick popped out. "DIE RICK SANCHEZ!" they yelled, firing wildlt.

"No," Rick shot him.

"What the...?" Sailor Venus asked.

"There's a Council of Ricks from various universes," Rick sighed, "I won't get involved with them, so they go after me."

Venus decided she just did NOT want to know. "Good luck," she raised the Time Key and then vanished.

"Should you have told her about the Counbcil of Venus'?" Morty asked once she left.

"Eh. Maybe she'll find it a pleasant surprise?" Rick shrugged, clearly not giving a shit.

Then another Rick portalled in, and things got busy.

Didn't I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life

Now, Mavis was used to her comrades being much more powerful than she was. Mile was... insanely strong. Reina was both strong and very combat saavy. And Pauline was a powerful healer AND a combat mage.

But this was something else.

"VENUS LOVE ME BURST!" the flying blonde cried, firing off a beam.

"Wow," Reina blinked as they took this in.

Pauline, reasonably, asked, "Does anyone know who she is?"

"No idea," Mavis admitted.

"That's Venus!" Mile blurted. "How is she HERE though?"

"You know her?" everyone looked at Mile.

Mile looked sheepish, "Uhm... family secret?"

Mavis just ignored that.

They were fighting a nest of Earth Dragons, who were the powerful but dumb branch of the Dragon family. They were, basically, animals but still huge and physically powerful. One, on it's own, was usually fought by two or more C-rank parties.

And they were fighting THREE of them, alone. Until Venus arrived.

"Damn these are tough!" the gorgeous blonde noted, dropping down beside them.

"Ma'am, thank you for helping," Mavis smiled.

"Well, hello," Venus purred. "Are you related to Haruka Tenoh?" she asked, batting her eyes.

"Errr," Mavis blinked.

Venus continued on, "Sorry, I got distracted. What are these things?"

"Earth Dragons," Mavis said, then they explained what they were and how they were threatening a nearby town.

"Could we just... herd them away?" Venus asked.

Everyone looked at her blankly. "Seriously?" Reina asked.

Venus shrugged slightly, "Well, I feel bad about just killed them." Briskly she continued, "My regular attack just bounced off."

Uhm," Mile jumped in, "are you Sailor Venus?"

"You know me?" Venus asked.

"I'm a big fan," Mile beamed.

Mavis had no idea what 'fan' meant in this context, and decided not to ask. "Reina," she asked her, "you're our experienced Hunter. How do we beat these things?"

"Their scales repel most magic," Reina admitted, "but brute force works."

"Ok," Marvis said briskly, "Pauline, you and Reina take one. You have that rock spell...?"

"It should work," Pauline agreed.

"Mile, you and I take one," Mavis said.

"I'll take the third," Venus nodded.

"Are you sure...?" Mavis asked.

"I'll be fine, cutey," Venus smiled.

"She LIKES you," Reina noted as Venus flew off.

"Oh shut up," Mavis muttered.

"Starlight," Venus gestured, magical power building into a huge churning mass, "BREAKER!"

Mavis watched in stunned disbelief as Venus just overwhelmed the Dragon's magic resistance with sheer, raw power.

'How many hugely powerful mages am I going to meet?' Mavis found herself wondering.

After the battle Mile grabbed Venus and they talked. The other three respected Mile's need to keep certain things secret, so didn't listen in.

"Too bad I can't stay longer," Venus noted. She looked at Reina, Mile and Pauline, "I'm gonna borrow her a sec."

"Huh?" Reina, Mile and Pauline replied.

Venus stepped up to Mavis, pulled her close and kissed her. Thoroughly.

"Eeep," Mavis managed dazedly.

"Bye, cutey," and Venus raised a key-like object and vanished.

"TOLD you she liked you," Reina noted just a bit jealously.

The Saga of Tanya the Evil

Doctor Pluto's TARDIS emerged into normal space, then there was a beat of silence.

"NOBODY MOVE!" a voice barked as they emerged.

"Soldiers. LOTS of soldiers," Magi Pluto noted, and used her shield to stop time locally.

Unlike the other Plutos, she could pretty much stop time at will. Annoyingly she didn't have the other abilities a Pluto usually had. Still, she usually managed okay.

Casually Magi Pluto moved the guns aside, and pointed them away from the others and the TARDIS. As she did she noted they were surrounded by what looked like German soldiers. Interesting. She walked over to what looked like a command tent, and looked around.

"Don't move," the blonde haired women practically glowing with magic ordered, pointing a pistol at her.

Magi Pluto blinked, almost instantly realizing the woman was resisting time-stop with raw magic. And a LOT of it too, she had to be burning through her reserves to do it.

"We come in peace," Magi Pluto said, "we're just trying to find a missing comrade."

"Your one friend is dressed like Sailor Venus," the woman noted. "Are you looking for her?" she asked.

"Yes!" Magi Pluto asked eagerly, "When did you see her?"

"A few weeks ago, nearly a month," she said. "Can you stop freezing everything?"

Pluto snapped her fingers, and there was suddenly a LOT of shouting.

"Everyone, at ease!" the woman yelled. "Let me handle this."

"Yes, Lieutenant!" one soldier saluted.

"Tanya von Degurechaff," she introduced herself, "and you are...?"

"Magi Pluto," she nodded as she lead Tanya back to the group by the TARDIS.

Sadly Tanya knew little more than that.

"Could you PLEASE not pop up in military bases?" Tanya added once the Plutos were getting ready to go. "My superiors are probably going to be very upset."

"We don't know where we land, sadly," Doc Pluto scowled at Doctor Pluto.

"Hmph," Doctor Pluto ignored that.

Tanya sighed, "Well, good luck to you all."

"Thank you," Magi Pluto sighed, and with that they were gone.

To be continued...

Notes: One of these days I want to write a Rick and Morty fanfic, but gender flipped. Need to figure out how it would fit with the series canon.

One of the running gags in Didn't I Say To Make My Abilities Average In The Next Life is that Mavis keeps getting girls falling for her, even though she's not into that.
