Hello everyone, I wanted to update this earlier but I was busy working on the other one and the second thing is I have a job that requires 12 hours a day. It's tiring for someone who is starting to work. Anyway, enough of that, let's get down to business.

Disclaimer: I don't own boys over flowers characters.

I hope you enjoy it.

A cool breeze drifts away

The rain leaves the wind and never returns

Whose dream am I in

Feel the changes in life

I thought a smile could conceal the crease between my brows.

No time has been lost

Things would develop against wishes

It's hard to keep up with the time

I'll follow you to the farthest corner.

I can't read your mind. It's all for nothing.

Fame is burden

The longing eventually fades away

Leaving people withered

And unrepentant.

The sounds hitting my ears are dreamy but real.

Rumors spread behind my beck

Spur the hoses and gallop.

Fail to escape from the design of fate

To what extent can we hide our love from our eyes

Far away from each other

But in the end, we will end up together

Jan Di, by the time this letter comes to you, I will have gone from your life, I know this is the worst mistake I have done. I shouldn't be leaving you like this but by the time you wake up, you will find no trace of me. I just want to let you know that you're the love of my life but I can't have you even if it happened last night. Don't look for me or ring the emergency bell because this time I won't come to put out the fire in your heart.

I love you very much Jan Di-ah, take care of yourself and please be happy…

Love, Ji Hoo.

"I didn't expect you still have this letter" Ji Hoo commented after reading through it. It was the letter he left her when he was leaving for Canada with his grandfather and Park Si-yeon.

"Do you still like her?" Jan Di asked him. She had tears in her eyes. Every time she read the only letter he left behind, cutting off all contact with her, she would cry. The pain he left is still fresh in her heart

"Jan Di-ah, how can you think like that? I have never liked or loved any girl in my life apart from you, Jan Di" Ji Hoo replied tenderly. He held her face in his hands. He watched her sniffle trying to fight the tears back but it was useless. "And besides what happened between us in New York, I never forgot an inch of it. it's a precious memory that kept me going all those two years that I was away from you"

It would have been better without any protection he had said.

"...really?" she asked.

"Yes...and listening to you, confessing your love to me last week knowing that Jun Pyo will be back made me realize that whatever I did was worth it," he said rubbing his thumb on her lower lip. When he couldn't help it, he dragged her to him and brushed her lips with his. It was soft and gentle at first but the kiss intensified as they rekindled their love that had been pushed away for over four years. Ji Hoo deepened the kiss, exploring her mouth fully without any hesitation.

The kiss ended between sweet pecks and nose touches.

"Don't let go of my hand this time, OK?" she said in between their kisses

"I never let it go, it was you...why don't we go somewhere more private" he gave her another sweet peck and led her to the dark old building before she could reply

...

Ji Hoo and Jan Di were in the corner of the building. She was pinned on the wall, her one leg was wrapped around his waist and her underwear was tugged aside, he unzipped his jeans and grabbed himself and began to tease her entrance while looking into her eyes. Those eyes knew nothing about how to hide any emotions from him. "Should I use it this time?" he asked in his husky voice.

"I don't...know" because at this point she didn't care if they used it or not.

Ji Hoo slowly entered her. It was different from the first time. He adjusted her and began moving. He had missed her; he had missed this. Even though the place they were making love from wasn't appropriate, he couldn't help think how it was the most romantic place.

"Sun-sunbae, you're...so deep," she said shyly. She could feel him deep inside her and it was an amazing feeling.

This time they weren't under the influence of alcohol or pressure, it was motivated by their blossoming love that Gu Jun Pyo had prevented from growing. It wasn't rough like the first time but this was gentle and way deeper and passionate.

They behaved like teenagers who didn't care about the world. "So do you like this feeling? Is it better than the first time?" he asked in between the thrusts.

"Y-yes," she replied softly and continued to move with him, holding onto him for her dear life, enjoying the feel of him deep in her

...

Ji Hoo and Jan Di came down from it, they shared a tight embrace and slow deep kisses, he whispered honey words against her lips, he ran the back of his knuckles against her cheek.

When he grew soft, he gently pulled out although not fully, he watched his desire oozing out of her and drop on him. And without any shame of what happened, he carefully zipped his trousers with traces of their orgasms and helped Jan Di organize herself.

They shared a look of satisfaction and another kiss and walked away from the abandoned building. "Jan Di-ah, I want you to marry me officially," he said out of the blue.

"W-what?" shock was written on her face. Her hands began to sweat not knowing what to say. If she said yes, things would be difficult for them like in the last three years but if she said no, sadness will come again.

"I have already waited for you for so long, Jan Di-ah. Please be my wife?"

"How about the others?" she tried to reason with him.

"I will have a word with him. So does that mean a Yes?" she could feel the excitement in his voice. They neared her home, Ji Hoo still holding unto her small hand and their passionate encounter still in his body. Ji Hoo spotted a black SUV from the dark corner of her home, a home that Madam Kang had forcefully bought for them but luckily she didn't live there anymore. He immediately knew that his friend was around.

Ji Hoo stopped moving, holding her hand tightly "Does he know where you live now?"

"No, why?" she asked

"Oh...then I will take you to your apartment" he turned in another direction before Jun Pyo could get a glimpse of them.

Jan Di had become the best performing student in medical school, she was praised by her professors and even more than one offered her an internship in China hospital. Her life was happy on the inside but she still felt a black hole swallow her.

Ji Hoo had blocked Jan Di's number from his phone but he stayed in touch with his friends. Madam Kang had expelled her family out of the mansion Goo Jun Pyo had bought for them and now there was a rumor going on that he was with Ha Jae Kyung. His relationship with Geum Jan Di became worse from time to time.

Jan Di was coming from her Lecture when he saw Ji Hoo and Si-yeon come out of the principal's office. They were holding hands, chatting, and even smiling at each other. Ji Hoo looked extremely happy that she felt like she was the third wheel. She was happy that he was back but he moved on from her which was understandable.

As Ji Hoo and Si-yeon continued to chat, his gaze locked with the person he was dying to see over these two years. Si-yeon followed her gaze and saw Jan Di. She waved her hand but of course, she was jealous of seeing the man she loves with another more beautiful woman than her.

Jan Di bowed and looked away from them and decided to be on her way home. She had promised to purchase some school supplies for her brother.

"Wasn't that Jan Di-ah, why did she leave like that?" she turned to Ji Hoo who watched Jan Di walk away from them without turning back

"Since Ji Hoo sunbae is back, maybe his grandfather is around," she told herself. After purchasing the school supplies, she rushed to the Yoon Residency to see him but at the same time, it was threatening to rain.

She knocked at the door but unfortunately, she saw him come to open the door. His eyes were cold and the spark she saw in the afternoon was no longer there.

Does he hate me that much?

"Hello, sun-"

"What do you want?" he cut her off with those emotionless eyes that she saw when he yelled at her for kneeling in front of Seo Hyun and begged her to stay

"I came to check on grand-"

"He is none of your business" he cut her off again. "Leave now," he said. The voice that woke her up to reality. He was no longer the sunbae she to known, he wasn't the man who did everything he could for her even finding her a doctor to help her swim again.

She nodded with so much hurt "I wonder why I came here? My mistake and sorry for the trouble. I nearly forgot you and I have never been on the same level" she bowed turned. She walked away as drizzles became the heavy falling rain without seeing how her words hurt him.

"What was I thinking? All men are the same. He is no different from those rich spoiled brats" she needed to leave and go far away from him, far away that she should never return

Grandfather shuffled over to him after witnessing the interaction. Ji Hoo was shocked to feel Grandfather smack him on the arm. "What's the matter with you?" he shouted. Ji Hoo flinched. "How could you treat Jan Di like that?" He barked.

"What do you mean? You were the one who told me to distance myself, weren't you? I went to Canada to keep myself away from her"

"I never told you to be so rude, you insolent little brat!"

"Grandfather." Ji Hoo replied calmly. "With all due respect, what would you have me do?"

Grandfather grumbled. "Ahh, I don't know. Maybe you should just do what you did back then" He exclaimed, exasperated.

Ji Hoo stared at Grandfather blankly. "What? Are you suggesting that I… she is my best friend's girlfriend, no wait, fiancée, practically?"

He rubbed his neck. "Ahhh, didn't you think about what you did back then? But do something! You've been moping around for over two years now!" Grandfather grouched, fed up.

Ji Hoo simply stared at him. Grandfather threw up a hand and brushed Ji Hoo off with an "Arghhh" and stumbled back to his room, grumbling the whole way.

Ji Hoo finally pulled out the Photo of Jan Di smiling while she was on the statue in Macau with him. He remembered her photo when she was trying to imitate the same movements as a statue. How many times he wished to throw the photo away, he couldn't have the courage to do it. He looked out in the rain wondering if she had reached home safely.

"Jan Di-ah, I'm sorry for the words I said."

Jan Di walked through the cold rain to her apartment with tears and pain thinking that maybe he would be a lot nicer to her but it was pointless. Since he moved on, she would make an effort to move on. She sat in her small apartment that she had managed to purchase with her own money. She wondered if this pain would ever go away from her.

Next Morning

After a few minutes of crying, a knock at the door interrupted her pain. "I wonder who could it be?" she opened the door and came face to face with Ji Hoo "Why are you here? And how did you find my address?" she finally mustered the courage to ask

"Can we talk?" this time, his voice was gentle and his eyes were no longer cold like yesterday.

Jan Di led Ji Hoo inside her home. "Want tea, Coffee? Make it quick because I have school to attend" she said not caring but she didn't make herself feel bad

"Tea will do" he took a seat on the couch waiting for Jan Di. He had wanted to say so many things to her but he ended up hurting her. He wasn't even sure if she will forgive him so he had decided to try his luck. "How have you been?" he tried to strike up a conversation with her

Ji Hoo wasn't expecting an answer from her judging from the way she glared at him coldly. She finished pouring tea in the cup, she set the tea on the table and took another seat on the couch far away from him "Why are you here?" she asked again.

"Jan Di, about yesterday-"

"If you're here to apologize, it isn't necessary" she stood up and went to her door and opened "You don't owe me anything. You don't need to. You made things clear yesterday and now I'm also making it clear"

"Why can't we talk about this" he went to her side. He tried to hold her hand but she pushed it away "I really didn't mean to act this way; I was just-"

"Do you know how much I missed you sunbae?" her eyes watered. She threw her arms around his waist and held unto him.

The force of her hug knocked Ji Hoo back, and he stiffened slightly.

"Jan Di-ah…," he mumbled, recalling how he had missed being in her arms. The sweet scent of her hair. He slowly wrapped his arms around her and held her tighter than he thought he ever had.

"I missed you," she whispered, full of emotion.

He closed his eyes and leaned into her, taking her in completely. "I missed you, too…," he rested his chin on her shoulder.

He pulled back after a moment. "Where have you been all these years?"

"I was in Canada," he replied softly

"Do you plan on staying?" she took a seat and took the seat next to her

"No, but grandfather wants to stay" he replied looking away

Anger was boiling up again "So you want to go back with her?" she asked her chest rising and falling. Ji Hoo could sense her anger again

"Jan Di, I-"

"You can go," she backed at him "Go and never return and anyway the three of you make a perfect family. No one will ever look down on you for being around a commoner like me"

"Why is this? Jan Di-ah…how comes our relationship has gotten to this point?"

"You don't like to stay? Huh…then go. Get out of my house," she said mechanically "You and I have nothing to say to each other"

"Jan Di-ah-"

"I'm sure my number can't get through, you always called your friends but me…please leave, all men are the same" she didn't want to cry again. she walked away from him because she turned back to him, she would take back everything she said.

"I will wait for you and we talk" he walked out of the house, his tears were threatening to spill. It was all his fault so he deserved her cold shoulder. He had treated her coldly and now here he was asking to be forgiven. And after when they were talking again, he made things worse

"Jan Di-ah, you don't know how much I have missed you, you don't know how I lose my self-control when I'm with you"

10 minutes later…

He watched Jan Di ride her bike away from her home. He followed since his lessons and Si-yeon lessons were starting today. He wondered if they were sharing some lectures like before but he was sure he would see her.

Jan Di silently walked to her lecture room, her usual seat had been taken by Si-yeon since her coming to class. She decided to change a seat and now she was having a front seat during the lecture, she watched students silently enter the lecture room, and unfortunately, her eyes landed on Ji Hoo and Si-yeon who were walking together since they were sharing the same lecture the entire morning. She averted her gaze to the whiteboard in order not to feel that pain. Ji Hoo tried to catch her attention but it was of no use.

Professor Park arrived and his eyes landed on Geum Jan Di. Ever since she took the front seat, he has been paying more attention to her, giving her guidance. "Geum Jan Di," the lecturer called her. "Why don't you make space for the new classmates from Canada?"

"Don't worry," she told the lecturer "If we separate both of them, it would break their hearts since they are inseparable" she smiled at the couple holding hands.

"I didn't mean it like that-" the lecturer said.

"There are other seats in the room, I think I can sit…"

"She will sit with me," another voice said. Jan Di's new friend said. Yoo Shi-jin had become another Ji Hoo in her life. He was referred to as a book worm and he was also madly in love with Jan Di but he could never tell her since he knew she loved someone else "Let's go," he gathered her books and led her to his seat at the other side of the room.

Ji Hoo and Si-yeon watched the handsome man lead Jan Di to another seat while holding her hand. Ji Hoo began to tense and his body felt weak at seeing another man holding her small hand.

During the lecture, he kept stealing glances at her and she deliberately refrained from looking over at Ji Hoo during class since he had someone beside him. She caught him looking at her once, out of the corner of her eye. And she'd seen him a few times in passing, but he would be evasive. At best, he offered her a small smile when they happened to make eye contact and continued the lecture.

The lecturer walked out after an hour, Jan Di and Shi-jin slowly gathered their books while they made subtle comments about the couple from Canada "So, what plans do you have this weekend?" Shi-jin gave her a semi-serious look.

She sighed "I don't feel well today, so I won't be going to the hospital"

"Why, what happened to you?" he asked grabbing his backpack and she did the same. He followed her and stopped to look at Ji Hoo and Si-yeon who were chatting. They seemed to be in their own world "I was meaning to ask you out"

"I'm sorry but I feel sick from the rain last night" she replied

Ji Hoo caught a few words from Shi-jin saying he was planning to invite her out and her reply of her being sick wasn't an excuse. He had pushed her away instead of protecting her from the rain. He didn't like the closeness of another man near Jan Di but she had pushed him away and he was to blame. He could see how he held onto her shoulders and she didn't bother to push him away

"Come on, Let's go to the cafeteria and grab something to eat" he led her to the cafeteria to their usual seats.

"Jan Di-ah," Si-yeon called her from behind them "Let's have breakfast together," she grasped her hand and led her in another direction.

"I'm sorry," she replied politely pulling away "I'm having breakfast with my friend," she bowed casting a quick last to Ji Hoo before going back to Shi-jin

Does she hate me?

"We can be groupmates then, Ji Hoo is always distant with people and I'm sure you know him well. We can be in the same group and do what friends do, right Ji Hoo?"

"Yes, Jan Di-ah," he replied going to her side "So won't you introduce us?"

"Oh," Shi-jin chimed in "I'm Yoo Shi-jin, assistant coordinator and Jan Di's suitor, nice to finally meet you" he brought his hand for a handshake.

"So you know us?" Ji Hoo asked looking at Jan Di in the corner of his eyes

He nodded "Jan Di-ah told me about her best friend Yoon Ji Hoo who has a perfect girlfriend, I guess she is the lucky girl, right Jan Di?"

"Yes, Shi-jin, I think I have…a fever," she said before she could pass out.

Jan Di yawned, groaned, and stretched her arms over her head. She could feel the warmth of the morning sun hitting her face, and she opened her eyes partially. That was enough. She quickly shut them, for the sun was extremely bright and she suddenly felt a dull throbbing in her head.

Aside from the headache, she was very comfortable, though. She was in bed, immersed in a sea of soft, warm linens. It didn't take Jan Di long to realize that it was far too comfortable to be her own bed…

She wasn't in her own bed… Not exactly a comforting thought…

Jan Di bolted upright. She blinked a few times and took in her surroundings. There was a music stand in the corner, a violin case, and she quickly recognized it to be Ji Hoo's room… She released a sigh of relief upon realizing she was somewhere safe, but then she had another thought…

She noticed that her clothes from last morning were neatly folded over a chair. Then, she looked down at herself under the covers, and she was wearing men's pajamas, Ji Hoo's most likely.

Jan Di gasped and covered herself more fully with the blanket. Not only did she fail to recall how she'd gotten here, but she also had no idea what happened after she told Shi-jin. Not that she didn't trust Ji Hoo completely, but it was just odd waking up at a man's house, in his bed… and much less when he has a girlfriend.

Though she had to admit, it wasn't the first time... She recalled waking up in Ji Hoo's room in New York two years ago. The memory gave her a lot of pain and didn't want to think about it.

There was a knock at the shoji doors, which caused Jan Di to jump nearly a mile. Then, the gentle voice of Ji Hoo came from outside, "Jan Di-ah, are you awake? May I come in?"

"Um, uh, just a minute!" Jan Di stammered. She quickly smoothed her mussed long hair-that must've looked completely wild-and wrapped herself tighter in the comforter. "OK, you can come in," she called.

Ji Hoo stepped in, smiling at her and holding a breakfast tray, "Good morning, Jan Di-ah. How are you feeling?"

"Oh, um…OK, just a bit of drowsiness," she touched her head with one hand, still holding the covers tight to her chest with the other.

"Yes, I imagine so," Ji Hoo placed the breakfast tray across her lap. "Take those, Haraboji said that you're weak" he motioned to the headache pills lying on the tray beside a glass of water, "And have some breakfast."

"Porridge?" she asked, noticing a full bowl from one of his sets in his kitchen

"Yes, it will build your strength up," he indicated.

It didn't take long for her to bring it up why she was in his house not in the hospital, though. "Sunbae, about yesterday…," she began. Ji Hoo put on a fake smile. "Eat first, Jan Di."

Ji Hoo suddenly leaned "Mm," she chewed, thoroughly enjoying its sweetness, while Ji Hoo sat on the edge of the bed, watching.

Jan Di's eyes darted back and forth, "But, Sunbae," she began, after finishing the bite, "…Um, I was wondering…," she glanced away.

"Yes, Jan Di?"

"Why am I here? and where are Shi-jin and Si-yeon?"

"You passed out, and I brought you here. I informed your parents that we're having work to do so not to worry them. I gave you my bed, and I slept on the couch. I can sleep anywhere; you know…" he paused. "I just wanted to talk with you and have you this close"

"Hmm, I remember you said I should ring the emergency bell because you wouldn't come"

"Can you hire me again?"

Please say yes, Jan Di

I hope you enjoyed it…
