We find ourselves in Magix, as Bloom and Kiko got off the bus.
As she walked around she couldn't help but remember all the moments she made with her friends from Alfea and Red Fountain.
Flashback:
We find ourselves in Bloom's room as she was packing away her things.
"Bloom stop this is crazy! You can't leave!" Mirta said.
"Brandon has made a fool of me. Why did he tell me he was Prince Sky's squire when he's actually Prince Sky? Maybe it's because I'm not a Princess. Everyone here is special, and wonderful, and I'm just a nobody." Bloom said.
"Bloom that's not true. Didn't you hear his parents? Ragnar thought he was a nobody." Mirta reminds.
"And look what happened. He managed to fight his way into Red Fountain and become a Dragon Tamer. Meanwhile look at me." Bloom said.
"But what about your powers? Your origins? Cloudjumper?" Mirta lists.
"I don't care anymore, Mirta. Really, I would rather just forget the whole thing. I don't belong to this dimension, and every day I notice it more and more." Bloom said.
"Bloom I stood up to the Trix and took a curse just to help you." Mirta gestures.
"And I'll always be grateful but there's nothing you can say. If Ragnar comes back tell him to take care of Cloudjumper for me. I know he'll do a good job." Bloom said closing it.
As Bloom walked to the door Mirta slid in front of her to stop her.
"Will at least wait until your friends come back? They'll be back in a few minutes once they walk Ragnar's parents out." Mirta asks.
Pausing Bloom slowly nods her head and closes the door.
Sighing Mirta leans against so she didn't get out.
"I gotta find the others and fast." Mirta said running out the door as fast as she could.
On the inside, Bloom watches Mirta leave and sighs.
"Come on Kiko." Bloom said as her rabbit hopped into her arms.
Using her magic Bloom made Flora's plants grow allowing her to sneak out the window.
As they left Kiko points in the direction of the Dragon Area.
"No Kiko, Cloudjumper isn't coming with us." Bloom frowns as she left Alfea.
Flashback End:
"I'll cherish them always." Bloom said walking by a window.
Little did she know Stormy was on the other side of it and saw her leaving.
"Huh?" Following after her Stormy saw Bloom enter an alley.
"Goodbye Magix." Bloom declares using her magic to create a portal home.
Seeing this Stormy headed back to the café to tell the others.
"Just like that. She said "Goodbye, Magix!" And she disappeared." Stormy finished.
"She left, huh? So the little fairy has given up?" Icy grins.
"She's gone home." Darcy grins.
"Sisters listen up." Icy said getting a plan.
At her feet Pepe waddles over.
"Quack quack Mommy." It said trying to get her attention but it ignored her.
"This is the opportunity we've been waiting for. Without her Winx friends, Bloom is even more vulnerable." Icy said when she felt a tug.
Growling she looks down to see Pepe smiling at her.
"Mama." Pepe said and immediately Icy froze its body in a block of ice.
"Gardenia, here we come." Icy declares.
At Alfea, Ragnar and Toothless fly in and land in the main square much to the surprise of the students.
"Alright Toothless come on." Ragnar said as they ran inside.
As the girls screamed in fear both dragon and rider ignored them.
"Excuse me! Pardon me! Coming through! Watch yourself!" Ragnar said as they turned a corner only to be stopped by Griselda.
"Young man what are you doing here?! And what is this beast doing inside?" Griselda asks as Toothless growls not liking the insult.
"Please don't call him that. He's not a beast. He's my partner." Ragnar said.
"Why are you even here? I did not request any Specialists from Red Fountain." Griselda said.
"I am not here on School business. I have important information for Bloom that she needs to know." Ragnar said.
"Whatever it is you can tell me as well." Griselda insists.
"Listen lady, I have had a really lousy past for days. I am not in the mood for this." Ragnar said.
"My condolences but you can't just come flying in on a dragon unannounced and demand to see one of my students." Griselda said.
"Fine then will go get her and tell her I need to talk her?" Ragnar asks.
"Do I look like a messenger to you?" Griselda asks.
"Why are you making this harder than it needs to be? Please just let me talk to Bloom." Ragnar asks clearly seeing why nobody likes her.
"You can't." Stella calls out.
Turning around Ragnar, saw Stella walking over.
"Stella?" Ragnar said confused.
"Sorry Ragnar but Bloom is not in a talking mood. I'll show him out Griselda." Stella said wrapping her arm around him.
"See that you do. I expect a little more from one of Saladin's pupils." Griselda said as Stella led him down the hall and they turned a corner.
"Oh I'm so glad you're okay." Stella said hugging him.
"Stella?" Ragnar said surprised.
"When you flew off after the exhibition, I was worried you were gonna leave Red Fountain forever." Stella said.
"Whoa why would you think that?" Ragnar asks.
"Because that's what Bloom did when she found out about Brandon or Sky or whatever his name is." Stella said.
"It's Sky. Also what do you mean she left?" Ragnar asks freaking out.
"She went back to Gardenia. She snuck ." Stella said.
"They are pretty amazing." Ragnar smiles before shaking his head snapping out of it. "When did she leave? I fly on Toothless I can catch up with her in no time."
"Ragnar don't. Not yet anyway." Stella said stopping him.
"What? But Bloom needs help." Ragnar said.
"And she'll get it. She's got her parents. Maybe after days she'll calm down and come back." Stella said.
"And what if she doesn't?" Ragnar asks.
"Then I'll go back to the human world and get her myself." Stella declares surprising him.
"Wow Stella, that's quite the declaration." Ragnar said.
"You don't walk out on your best friend. If they are you go through quite a bit to keep them." Stella smiles.
Hearing this, Ragnar thought to when Sky chased him all the way to Domino and smiles.
"Guess you have a point." Ragnar said.
"Speaking of, how are you holding up? I mean finding out your best friend's secret after knowing him for years." Stella asks.
"I'm doing fine. Sky and I managed to patch things up." Ragnar said.
"Well that's a relief. We were worried about you. Your mom and dad were really worried about you." Stella said.
"You met them?" Ragnar said surprised.
"Yeah they brought us back and even made us dinner. They're really nice people." Stella said.
"Yeah they are. I guess I better call tell them I'm okay now." Ragnar said.
"So what was so important that you needed to tell Bloom about?" Stella asks.
"Just tell her I have information that could help her. Assuming she still wants it." Ragnar said.
"I'll see that she gets it. By the way, love the armor." Stella points.
"Yeah took me days to sew it all together." Ragnar said.
"You sew too? Hmm you are just full of surprises." Stella giggles making him blush.
"Don't worry, I'll be sure to. The other's are trying to keep it together. Some want to go right to Farragonda but I think Bloom needs this right now." Stella said.
"You don't show it much Stella, but you care about your friends more than anyone. You're a good person Stella and Bloom is lucky to have a best friend like you looking out for her." Ragnar smiles.
"Aw thank you." Stella blushes.
Seeing this Toothless couldn't help but smirk.
"You be careful Ragnar and it's good to have you back." Stella said.
"Good to be back." Ragnar smiles when Stella leans in and gives him a small peck on the lips making him freeze up. "W-Wha?"
"I was gonna give you that after your routine but after what you said earlier. You moved up from a cheek kiss." Stella giggles.
"Well uh…I'll let Cloudjumper stay here." Ragnar reaches to grab his helmet but fumbles dropping it.
Chuckling nervously Ragnar picks it up.
"Uh thanks Stella see you round." Ragnar said heading out.
Giggling Stella watched Ragnar take off.
Up in the air Ragnar put his helmet on and when he looked down he saw Toothless smirking at him.
"Not one word." Ragnar said as they flew off.
Meanwhile at Drago's secret Dragon camp, we see him overseeing the progress as tons of Ex Specialists were managing the latest batch of captured Dragons.
Tying down a Boneknapper, the Hunters yank off as many bones as they could taking away its ability to roar.
Jabbing spears at a group of Thunderdrums they were forced into cages.
Dropping a chain net it landed atop some Monstrous Nightmares.
"How many dragons have we collected?" Drago asks as a Dragon Hunter walks up to him.
"We captured over 2 dozen dragons in the last week." The hunter said.
"And what about the dragons at your former school?" Drago asks.
"It's slowly growing sir will it be a problem?" He asks.
"Hardly. What's the status of the lasts capture?" Drago asks as a second hunter joined in.
"Sir we've located a decent pack of dragons in the east meadows, but they've cut through all our traps." One said.
"They're too fast." A second said.
"Fast?" Pausing Drago chuckles softly. "Have some cages prepared. I need to pay my apprentice a visit." Drago grins getting an idea.
It had been a while since he paid Ragnar a visit.
A few days later, we see Toothless eating dinner with Stormfly, Skullcrusher, Meatlug, Hookfang, Barf and Belch and Sluether while Ragnar hanging out with Sky near the dragon area on the outskirts of school.
"So you think this might be enough?" Sky asks holding up a bucket of Skullcrusher's scales.
"Hmm definitely a good start." Ragnar said.
"So you thinking you might keep rocking the flight suit?" Sky asks gesturing to Ragnar who was now wearing that instead of his Specialist uniform.
"Hey it technically was made from a school uniform so I'm not breaking any rules. It's just different." Ragnar chuckles.
"Well I can't wait to have one of those things strapped to my back." Sky chuckles.
As they turned in the direction of the school, Sky looked to Ragnar.
"So uh any word on Bloom?" Sky asks concerned.
"No, not yet." Ragnar sighs.
"I knew I should have told you both sooner or later." Sky sighs.
"Be honest did you even like that Diaspro girl?" Ragnar asks.
"No." Sky said almost instantly.
"Don't even want to think about it?" Ragnar asks.
"Nope. I love Bloom not her." Sky said.
"Well hopefully you can tell her that soon." Ragnar said when they heard movement in the trees.
"Who's there? Show yourself?" Sky asks as he and Ragnar drew their weapons.
"Well what do we have here? Another new face?" Drago asks emerging from the bushes.
"Old Master." Ragnar smiles.
"You know this guy?" Sky asks surprised.
"Yeah he was the one who helped me learn all I could about dragons." Ragnar said.
"Very interesting armor you have their." Drago notices.
"Yeah made of dragon scales like your cape." Ragnar said.
"Do you enjoy disobeying me?" Drago asks.
"What? No of course not." Ragnar said nervously.
"Yet you keep breaking my rules and asking for help." Drago said.
"I'm sorry Old Master. I'm trying I really am." Ragnar said.
Seeing this Sky was not a fan of how this stranger was breaking his friend down for asking for help.
"Well then if you really are sorry then you wouldn't mind helping me." Drago said.
"Absolutely. What do you need?" Ragnar asks.
"There are some dragons at this location, they've been too fast for me to help, but with your Night Fury you should catch them easy." Drago said showing him a map.
"I'll get right on that." Ragnar said.
"See that you do." Drago grins before walking away.
"Something's not right with that guy Ragnar." Sky said.
"Look I know he seems weird but he was there for me when I needed help the most. He's part of the reason I'm not a loser anymore." Ragnar said.
"I never thought you were a loser Ragnar." Sky said worried.
"Look I need to get him these dragons. Will you help me?" Ragnar asks.
"Yeah, sure buddy." Sky said.
"I just need to make a call and then we can head out." Ragnar said heading to get Toothless.
As Ragnar walked away Sky looked in the direction Drago left. Something wasn't right and he was gonna make sure his best friend wasn't pulled into the middle of it.
Meanwhile at Alfea, Stella, Musa, Flora and Tecna were in Farragonda's office as she and Griselda were talking to them about Bloom.
"What?! Why wasn't I notified immediately?" Farragonda asks.
"Well we thought that—" Flora said nervously.
"That what? That I wouldn't have noticed perhaps? No, but what were you thinking? You are Bloom's best friends and you allowed her to leave without trying to stop her?" Farragonda accuses.
"That is not true!" Musa snaps.
"Miss Musa!" Griselda scolds.
"Alright, alright, let's discuss this further another time. Meanwhile you can go." Farragonda said dismissing them.
Walking back to their room, the open the door to see Mirta waiting for them.
"How bad was it?" Mirta asks.
"Very." Flora cringed.
"You heard what she said, I told you we should've let Faragonda know." Tecna said.
"Yeah, maybe but what if Bloom had changed her mind? What is she'd come back?" Stella points out.
"But she didn't. Let's face it girls, Bloom's gone for good." Musa said.
"Well then I'm going to bring her back." Stella declares.
"How?" Mirta asks.
"I was the one who brought her here. I know where she lives. Cover for me." Stella said heading out to fulfil her promise.
"I hope she does get Bloom back." Tecna said when they heard a ringing.
"Oh that's me." Mirta said answering it. "Ragnar, what's up?"
"Mirta I need your help. Dragon Rescuing. You in partner?" Ragnar asks.
"You bet." Mirta said nodding her head. "I gotta go cover me."
"Mirta no!" Flora said stopping her. "You can't let anyone see you." Flora said pulling her away from the door.
"But Ragnar needs my help to rescue dragons." Mirta said.
"Mirta, Griselda is mad at us as it is. We can't afford to let you get caught. Who knows what trouble we could all be in?" Tecna said.
"So what do we do?" Mirta asks when Musa smiles at a thought.
"I'll go." Musa said stepping up.
"Huh?" They all said.
"I'll go in your place and help Ragnar with the dragons." Musa said.
"Are you sure about that?" Mirta asks.
"Well from a statistical standing compared to me and Flora and with Stella going to get Bloom, Musa is your best choice." Tecna said.
"Plus I got Siren to help me out." Musa adds.
"Well…okay but be careful Musa." Mirta said texting her the message. "Good luck."
"Thanks Mirta. I won't let you down." Musa said heading out.
Once she closed the door she squeals.
"Yes. No Stella, no distractions. Maybe if I do good enough Ragnar will ask me to be his Dragon Rescue Partner." Musa grins at the thought.
In Gardenia, Bloom was working with her mother Vanessa at her flower shop.
"Pink Carnations." Vanessa said looking around. "Hmm sorry Mrs. Jeeves I don't think I have any left."
In the back, Bloom uses her magic to change the color on some other carnations.
"Mom we have still have some here." Bloom said handing Mrs. Jeeves the flowers.
"Oh thank you." She smiles paying for them and walking out.
"It's nice to have an assistant with a magic touch." Vanessa smiles.
"Flora taught me that trick." Bloom frowns.
"You miss your friends don't you?" Vanessa said hugging her.
"I made my choice mom." Bloom said.
Since Bloom had spent most of the year in Alfea, she would have to wait until next year to go back to high school.
Little did they know, the Trix were spying on them from across the street.
"I knew she wouldn't last long. She didn't fit in at Alfea. And yet Bloom doesn't belong to this world either. We'll act soon and put an end to her misery." Icy grins.
Meanwhile, Sky and Ragnar were flying through the air on Skullcrusher and Toothless.
"So this Old Master guy has been sending you on these Dragon missions?" Sky asks.
"Yeah, how do you think we have so many Dragons back at school?" Ragnar asks. "I do have to give him a few of them to him after every mission. Says I'm not ready for the really dangerous ones."
"But you're the one who rescues them? If you can do that surely you can train them." Sky said.
"I'm working my way." Ragnar said as they landed in a steep hill area with a few caves scattered around. "Hmm Mirta should have been here by now."
Lifting his head up Toothless heard something fly in.
Looking up to their surprise Musa and Siren were flying in.
"Musa?" Ragnar said surprised.
"Hey Ragnar." Musa said climbing off but when she noticed Sky she narrowed her eyes. "Oh it's you."
"Uh hey Musa, good to see you." Sky said nervously.
"Ragnar what is this liar doing here?" Musa asks.
"He's my best friend. And he's here because best friends help each other." Ragnar said making Sky smile.
"So uh any word on Bloom?" Sky asks nervously.
"No." Musa said.
"So Musa what's going on?" Ragnar asks.
"Mirta couldn't leave in her condition so they sent me to help instead." Musa said.
"Well any backup is good backup." Ragnar smiles.
"So what are we looking for exactly?" Musa asks as Ragnar walked to the edge.
Looking down they saw a small group of 8 dragons they had very small wings, long legs and sharp tails.
"Now I see why this one was difficult. Those are Speed Stingers." Ragnar gulps.
"Uh mind filling us in?" Sky asks not liking this.
"They're super fast and dangerous dragons. They don't fly but they more than makeup for it with numbers. They usually have at least a dozen at a time." Ragnar recalls.
Sniffing around one Speedstinger looks in their direction making them duck.
"You don't think they saw us do you?" Musa asks.
Suddenly coming from behind them the remaining 4 appeared.
"I think they did!" Sky panics.
"Don't let them sting you! They'll paralyze you!" Ragnar yells out.
"What?!" Musa gasps.
As the other 8 scaled up from below Musa quickly transformed into her Winx form.
"Incoming!" Ragnar yells as they leaped at them.
Activating his shield, Sky blocks one and pushes back.
Roaring Skullcrusher rams into another.
"Toothless Alpha Roar!" Ragnar said looking over.
About to make his move, Toothless didn't notice one come up at him.
Switching focus, Toothless swings his fake wing at it making it move.
Sadly Toothless couldn't divide his attention enough to stop them.
Getting on Skullcrusher, Sky took off into the air to avoid them.
"If they can't fly we need to get up!" Sky calls out.
"Good idea!" Ragnar said as Musa and Siren flew up narrowly avoiding getting stung.
As Toothless took to the sky, he saw Ragnar being surrounded.
Snarling two dragons lunged at him, but at the last second Ragnar hit the switch making his metal wings clip to his arms.
Using those as shields Ragnar tried to deflect the Speed Stingers but they were relentless.
"Get awat from him!" Musa yells blasting them with her magic giving Ragnar the chance to ignite it and fly to safety.
"Thanks Musa." Ragnar pants climbing onto Toothless.
Seeing their pray was out of reach the Speed Stingers ran off.
"How are we gonna catch them if they don't hold still?" Sky asks.
"We need to lure them out so Toothless can get them." Ragnar said.
"You mean like a noise?" Musa hints gesturing to Siren.
"Musa I could kiss you." Ragnar smiles before blushing realizing what he said.
"Well, now I'm really glad I came here." Musa giggles.
Back in Gardenia, it was the dead of night as Bloom and Kiko headed home.
"You'll see, Kiko. I'll get back into the swing of things in no time. I made the right decision, didn't I?" Bloom asks but Kiko shook his head. "Thanks a lot. What a friend you are." Bloom said sarcastically when they heard a scooter drive by.
"Bloom!" A voice said as a light shined on her. "What's up?"
Looking over, Bloom saw a teenage girl around her age with long black hair and glasses sitting on a purple scooter. This was Mitzi, one of Bloom's old enemies from her normal life.
"You're talking to yourself girl." Mitzi mocks.
"Well, it sure beats talking to you, Mitzi." Bloom said walking away.
"Oh, grumpy! What? Did you flunk an exam or something? Oops, how stupid of me, I completely forgot, you don't go to school. Oh, well." Mitzi reminds.
"Hey I'll make up for it next year." Bloom said.
"But you'll still be a year behind." Mitzi points out.
"What's it to you, Mitzi? Just leave me alone, pretend I don't exist, okay?" Bloom said.
"No need to pretend, Bloom. You are a nobody." Mitzi declares as she drove off and almost runs over Kiko.
"That's it!" Holding out her hand Bloom turns Mitzi's scooter into a pig much to her shock.
"What the?! Help!" Mitzi screams.
"That'll teach her. Let's go home." Bloom said as she and Kiko ran off.
Back in the mountain areas of Magix, Ragnar and Toothless were waiting in hiding.
"Okay Toothless we just need Sky and Musa to pull their parts." Ragnar said.
Hearing the loud roar they saw Sky riding Skullcrusher at a low altitude with the Speed Stingers chasing after.
"Come on Skullcrsher they're gaining!" Sky said as they passed by a sharp turn where Musa and Siren were hiding.
"Now Siren." Musa said as Siren let out her melodious call getting the Speed Stinger's attention.
"Now!" Ragnar yells.
Coming out Toothless lets out an Alpha Roar causing the Speed Stingers to stop in their tracks.
As Toothless roared at them the Speed Stingers gathered in front of a cave.
"Yes, we got them!" Musa said.
"Good thing these things are fast. As long as we stick close, they can follow us back." Sky said.
Suddenly they heard a loud growling noise from the cave nearby.
"What was that?" Musa asks startled.
"Sounds like this pack has one more member." Sky said.
"Weapons ready." Ragnar said ready for anything.
But to their surprise emerging from the cave was a large brown Hotburple dragon with a worn-out leather bag on his side. This was Grump.
Smiling happily, Toothless and Skullcrusher rush to their old friend who happily approaches them.
"Well would you look at that. Seems our dragons know that one." Sky smiles.
"That big one must stay here because it can't keep up with the little guys." Musa said.
"Hey big guy." Ragnar said slowly walking up to him.
Parting ways, Ragnar petted him on the head when he noticed the small bag.
"Hey whatcha got there?" Reaching for it, Ragnar unclipped it and felt something inside.
"What in the?" Pulling out Ragnar sees a worn-out leather handle with a metal dragon at the end of the hilt. "This thing looks like it's seen better days." Ragnar cringed.
Examining it, Ragnar clicked a button and suddenly a flaming blade shot out narrowly missing him.
"Whoa!" Ragnar said startled.
"What is that?" Musa asks.
"I don't know, it's some kind of weapon. Look at this thing. It's gotta be coated in Monstrous Nightmare gel. And what the?" Reaching to the side he pulls out little canisters. "Zippleback gas?"
"Amazing." Sky said examining it with him. "Whoever made this thing must have been a freaking dragon genius."
Seeing the familiar weapon, Toothless smiles happily recognizing it."
"I think Toothless like it." Sky said.
"You do huh? Bud? Don't suppose you know what it is." Ragnar said.
Nodding Toothless roars eagerly.
Looking to Grump, Toothless was surprised he had it.
Growling Grump tells him that funny story.
Flashback:
We find ourselves during the big battle on Grimmel's ship.
As the battles were intense Gobber and Grump knocked some Hunters out.
"Oh yeah! Good boy Grump!" Gobber said when he noticed Hiccup throw Inferno down on a ship making it explode.
Looking down Gobber noticed the sword was still lodged on deck.
Diving down Goober scoops it up.
"Remind me to give this back to Hiccup when this is over." Gobber said putting it in the same bag Grump was still wearing.
Flashback end:
Unfortunately, he never did.
"Alright alright, we'll keep this." Ragnar said putting it in his pocket. "Maybe Timmy and I can fix this thing up."
"That's all of them." Musa said as all the Speed Stingers were gathered together.
"Alright let's get these guys back to Red Fountain." Ragnar said as they took off.
In Gardenia, Bloom arrived back at her house but to her surprise when she opened the door she saw her parents were being held hostage by Knux, the Trix and their dragons.
"Oh no, sweetie!" Mike gasps but the dragons kept them away.
"Good evening, Bloom. We've come to pay your parents a visit. I can call them that, right? Now, Bloom, we're gonna take what rightfully belongs to us. Go on, ogre, she's all yours. You too dragons." Icy orders.
Roaring the dragons attacked Bloom.
Breathing Ice at her, the Snow Wraith blasts Bloom out the door and onto the streets.
"Bloom Magic Winx!" Bloom said turning into her fairy form.
As the Changewing spit acid at her, Bloom flew out of the way.
Holding up her hands Bloom released a powerful fire blast sending the Changewing smashing into the Snow Wraith.
Flying at her, Stormy's Windstriker breathed fire at her making Bloom fly up to dodge.
As all three dragons turned to her Bloom dropped down. "Ragnar this trick better work."
Holding out her hands, flames formed in them.
As she waved them around all three dragons came to a stop as Bloom's gestures seemed to calm them allowing Bloom to sigh in relief.
"It really pays to have a Dragon trainer for a friend." Bloom smiles.
However that moment was short lived when Knut attacked.
Dodging it, Bloom blasts Knut knocking him to the ground.
"You're gonna pay for what you did to my parents." Bloom said.
"So, Bloom, you'd rather deal with us, huh?" Icy asks as she and her sisters joined the fight. "Stormy, would you do the honors?"
Getting on their dragons the Trix flew circles around Bloom.
Struggling Bloom used her magic to fight them off but three witches and three dragons were too much for her.
"I really wish I had Cloudjumper with me." Bloom said as she flew around narrowly avoiding flames, ice and acid.
"But you don't!" Darcy said appearing behind Bloom and blasting her to the ground.
"Why are you doing this to us? What do you want from me?!" Bloom asks.
"We want to give you back your normality, dear. We want your power." Stormy said.
"No way! I'm not giving you anything. You're wicked and cruel!" Bloom snaps.
"Wrong answer!" Icy said as Stormy blasted Bloom back into the house.
"Bloom!" Mike and Vanessa wanted to go help but immediately the three dragons got in front of them and roared eager to tear them apart.
"Give it up, Bloom. You're struggling in vain. We want the Dragon Flame that's in you. You should know, my dear, that our three ancestors went so far as to destroy Domino in order to get it. They understood the power of the flame and would've stopped at nothing to get it. And they almost succeeded, except that your big sister Daphne the Nymph, had to spoil everything by saving your lives." Icy explains.
"Daphne? Lives?" Bloom asks confused.
"The dragon twins. A boy and a girl. That's right Bloom, you have a twin sibling." Darcy said.
"So they had to get rid of her. But before our ancestors could do that, Daphne managed to take you away and hide you in a secret location, far from your birthplace." Icy said.
"But what about my twin? What happened to him?" Bloom asks.
"No one knows, Daphne gave that one a special charm to hide the other twin away. Even we haven't found it. But it doesn't matter. We only need one to make it work." Icy said.
"But what do you three have to do with what your ancestors did?" Bloom asks.
"We picked up where they left off, and we'll carry through the mission. Right, sisters?" Icy asks.
"Right." Stormy and Darcy said.
"You see, our ancestors were old and worn out; but we're young and strong." Icy grins.
"Not if I have anything to say about it." Bloom said.
"I don't think so!" Using her magic Icy freezes Bloom's body to the wall trapping her. "The sad thing is you haven't got a leg to stand on, Princess." Icy mocks.
"What are you talking about? Why are you calling me that?" Bloom asks.
"How quaint! You still don't have a clue, do you? My dear Bloom, you and your twin are the children of the King and Queen of Domino. The last and only heirs to the throne. The guardians of the greatest power in the universe. And very shortly this great power will be in our hands. She's all yours, sis." Icy said looking to Darcy.
"And not a minute too soon." Darcy said as they walked out.
"This is it. Nothing can stop us. Ready?" Icy asks.
"Oh yeah." Stormy grins.
"You bet." Darcy grins.
Using their magic, the Trix summon their spell to absorb Bloom's magic.
"Savor the moment, we're about to become the three most powerful witches the magic dimension has ever seen. We'll be invincible." Icy declares.
"Vacuum!" All three Trix said as Bloom felt all of her magic being sucked out.
Meanwhile landing back at Red Fountain, Musa noticed something glowing under Ragnar's armor.
"Ragnar what's that light?" Musa points.
Looking down, Ragnar pulls it out revealing his necklace was glowing red.
"What the?" Ragnar said confused.
"It's glowing like when you were near Domino." Sky recalls.
"No this is something else. It's like it's trying to tell me…something terrible is happening." Ragnar said not liking this.
Once all the magic was sucked out of Bloom she fell out of the ice and collapsed.
"Hey what's up?" Knut asks walking in.
"Nothing you bubblehead." Icy said shutting him up. "Let's get outta here."
Finally having what they wanted the Trix, Knut and their dragons left Gardenia.
In the alley nearby, Mitzi was gesturing to the pig the Trix made.
"I'm not kidding you, this was my scooter." Mitzi points.
"Yeah right." One guy said.
"You know what, Mitzi? Maybe you should take a vacation or something." The guys said not believing her.
Back in Bloom's place, she slowly opened her eyes to see Mike looking down at her.
"Dad?" Bloom said weakly before noticing Vanessa nearby.
"Bloom sweetie." Vanessa said relieved when a light entered the room.
"Oh no! They're back!" Bloom gasps.
But instead of the Trix, Stella walked out.
"Stella!" Bloom said as Stella noticed the damages.
"Bloom what's wrong?" Stella asks.
"The Trix, they followed me here, they attacked me, they were so strong, they took my powers." Bloom said.
"Bloom, I think you should go back to Alfea with Stella to sort the whole thing out." Vanessa said.
"Your mom's right. You know, you are one of the most powerful fairies of all time, Bloom. Let's fight back. If we all work together, I'm sure we'll find a way to get back at the Trix and thwart their evil plans." Stella said.
"There's more Stella…I have a brother." Bloom declares surprising everyone. "Daphne hid him away but I don't know where to look."
Pausing Stella recalls something.
"Bloom right after you left Ragnar said he found something big. It's not much but I bet it's a start." Stella said.
Hearing this Bloom couldn't help but smile.
"We're with you Sweetie. No matter what." Mike assures.
Smiling Bloom hugs her parents saying goodbye to them again.
"A twin brother. Of all things." Stella said amazed.
Meanwhile, at Red Fountain, Ragnar let Toothless and Skullcrusher lead Grump to his old friends before making his way to his usual meeting spot with Drago.
"You guys wait here." Ragnar said as he gestured for the Speed Stingers to follow him.
However, Sky wasn't a fan of this idea.
"Musa." Sky gestures for her to follow behind him.
Peeking out from behind the trees they see Ragnar approaching Drago.
"You did it. You're getting better." Drago grins.
"These things were not easy to catch." Ragnar said.
"Good work Ragnar." Drago said looking at them. "Is this all of them?"
"Well uh I might have kept one Dragon. It's not a Speedstinger though it's a Hotburple." Ragnar said.
"Hmm what's this? Are you trying to hold out on me?" Drago glares.
"N-No Master I'm not it's just uh. Well he's not that dangerous. In fact, he's kinda lazy so if he's friends with Toothless I thought you wouldn't mind." Ragnar said.
"Have you forgotten everything I've done for you? Never let your feelings distract you from your mission. You simple stupid boy." Drago scolds breaking Ragnar down with each word.
"I didn't mean to upset you Old Master." Ragnar frowns.
Growling Sky and Musa wanted to leap out of hiding and let this jerk have it.
"Understand boy, when I met you that day you were nothing. Red Fountain's Punching Bag, a mistake, no one would have wasted their time on you." Drago said moving in close so he was over him. "And this is the thanks I get for making you more than the weakling you used to be?"
"No. No I'm sorry Old Master. I'll make this up to you." Ragnar said.
"Show me how serious you are." Drago said.
As Ragnar bent down Sky and Musa gasped to see Ragnar on his knees in apology.
"I promise. I'll make this up to you." Ragnar said.
"See that you do." Drago said raising his spear.
Turning to the Speed Stingers, Drago roars before slamming it down at their feet making them whimper and follow him.
"The world is a dangerous place. You never know who will be your enemy or your ally. You better make sure you're on the right side." Drago said before leaving.
As he did Ragnar hung his head feeling like the absolute worst.
Slowly following Drago, Musa and Sky popped their heads out and what they saw made them gasp in horror.
"What is this?" Musa gasps.
"We need to show Ragnar." Sky said as they ran back to get him.
As Ragnar was making his way back, he wiped his eyes indicating he was close to crying when heard a small growl.
Looking down he saw a Hobgobbler snarling at him.
"Whoa how'd you slip away?" Ragnar asks.
Bending down Ragnar held out his hand letting the dragon sniff him. Slowly it lowered its guard allowing Ragnar to pick it up. "You're a little small but Old Master probably won't mind."
"Ragnar." Dropping in Ragnar saw Musa and Sky running to him.
"Guys I told you to—"
"You need to see this." Sky said grabbing him.
Pulling Ragnar to their hiding spot, Ragnar looks out at a small clearing and when he did he looks in horror to see Drago shove the dragons into cages.
"What in the?" Ragnar asks.
"Aren't those the Dragon Hunters we saw a while ago?" Musa gasps in horror.
"Wait a minute…Ragnar look." Sky points to show some of them had the Specialists mark on them.
"They're Ex Specialists." Ragnar whispers.
Quickly stepping back, they hid in the trees and bushes to avoid being spotted.
Using her magic, Musa allowed them to listen in on the conversation from a distance.
"That should be all of them." Drago said.
"Sir if we might have to leave a few behind. We're short on room." A trapper said.
"Absolutely not. They all come with us." Drago said.
"You heard him move!" The trapper said as Drago struck a Speed Stinger making Ragnar gasp.
"I want all of you be on the lookout for more Dragon areas. The more dangerous the better for Ragnar." Drago said.
"You really think he can handle it? What if he dies?" The hunter asks.
"That boy will do anything I say. I break that idiot down at every meeting making him desperate to prove himself and if I even give him a nod he'll hand over his own Night Fury to me if I tell him. He's that gullible." Drago laughs horrifying Ragnar.
"W-What?" Ragnar said speechless.
"Soon we'll have enough dragons and when we do, we'll be ready." Drago said as they took off into the air.
As they flew away, Musa and Sky looked at Ragnar who had a conflicted look on his face.
Bringing the Hobgobbler back to the Dragon area, Ragnar put him down.
"There you go little guy. Enjoy your new home." Ragnar said as the dragon nuzzles him before scuttering off.
The second it did a sad and painful look appeared on his face.
"Hey Ragnar you okay man?" Sky asks.
"I can't believe. I can't believe I let him use me like that." Ragnar groans.
"Ragnar how did you even meet this guy?" Musa asks.
Frowning Ragnar knew he would have to tell them.
"It was before we found Bloom. Stella and I were assigned to get this sword from a cavern." Ragnar said showing them his sword. "I was…still figuring this whole dragon thing out. That man he…he showed up almost like out of nowhere. He gave me a book on dragons and chance."
"A chance for what?" Musa asks.
"To not be a loser anymore." Ragnar admits surprising them. "He said he believed in me and that I had potential. But he's just like Riven! He's just like everyone else! He said I could be great but all he made me was his dragon wrangler!" Ragnar snaps stabbing his sword into the ground. "I thought I was different but I'm still the same screw-up I was before I met Toothless!"
"Well he was right about one thing. You did become great." Musa points out.
"Yeah because of him." Ragnar said.
"No. Not because of you. Inside you was the toughest, craziest and most determined Specialist I ever met. Was that Old Master by your side when you conquered Saladin's wall and got into Red Fountain?" Sky asks.
"No." Ragnar said.
"Did you have him by your side when you finally stood up to Riven and awakened your magic?" Musa asks.
"No." Ragnar said.
"Did he help you invent that awesome flight suit?" Sky asks gesturing to it.
"No." Ragnar said.
"Exactly Ragnar. You did those things not him. All he did was give you a book to help you figure out what you were good at." Sky said.
"You don't need him, he needs you. That's why he keeps making you get him dragons." Musa said.
"He used me when I was at my lowest to capture Dragons for him." Ragnar said tightening his fist.
"So what are you gonna do about it?" Sky asks.
Pausing Ragnar looks to Toothless and then to Sky and Musa.
"I'm gonna put a stop to him." Ragnar declares.
"There's the Ragnar I know." Sky smiles.
As Sky went back to Red Fountain, Ragnar walked with Musa to Siren.
"Thanks for coming to help Musa. Even though this didn't go as planned I'm glad you were here." Ragnar said.
"Thanks Ragnar and I'm sorry your mentor turned out to be a jerk." Musa said.
"It's my fault. I was so eager to better myself I didn't realize I almost sold my soul to a monster." Ragnar sighs.
"But you didn't. You actually figured it out before it was too late." Musa said.
"I really thought he wanted to help me. What do I do know?" Ragnar asks.
"Well until you figure out your next move. You got me to help you out." Musa smiles.
Smiling Ragnar pulls Musa into a hug surprising her.
"Thanks Musa." Ragnar said.
Smiling Musa leans in wrapping her arms around him.
"You were there for me when I was struggling. I'll be there for you." Musa said.
Ragnar was about to say something but was interrupted as Musa leans in and kissed him.
"Uh…" Ragnar pauses speechless.
"You owed me a kiss remember?" Musa teases.
Not sure what to say all Ragnar did was shake his head making her giggle.
As she left, Ragnar couldn't help but think about her and Stella.
Both girls were so different but he always felt happier when he was around them.
But he didn't know what to do.
Heading back to his room, Ragnar enters to see Drago's book on the table.
Narrowing his eyes, he took out a few notebooks and puts the remains of Inferno on the table.
"This weapon looks cool but I already have a cool weapon. Maybe someone else can find a use for it." Ragnar said.
Taking out a pen, Ragnar wrote in big letters. THE BOOK OF DRAGONS.
As he began jotting down his own notes and sketches of the dragons he looked to Drago's book and pushed it off his desk and into the garbage.
"I don't know what side I'm on but I know it's not yours." Ragnar said.
