Liam's POV

I woke up at around my usual time of 5am, which was confirmed after looking at the clock on the wall of the dimly lit room. I felt something warm wrapped around my waist, and after a quick inspection of looking down, surely enough, it was the sleeping Charlotte. Her peacefulness putting a smile on my face.

That smile was quickly eradicated, as I realised I needed to get home and get ready, since I didn't have a spare change of clothes, and I also had football practise after school, so I needed to get my stuff for that. However it was a Tuesday, so school does start late today. 9:45am to be exact, so I had time, but I did need to get home at some point this morning to get ready.

I grabbed my phone off the bedside table and checked for any notifications, surely enough, I had none. 'Yeah, that seems about right,' I thought to myself, unlocking it and scrolling through my Instagram feed, finding the usual things you usually find on Instagram. E.g. Mostly Shitty Memes, E Thots, and Ads. 'Yeah, that seems about right,' I thought to myself, once again, continuing to scroll for a while.

I looked at the clock on my phone, and surely enough, it was already coming up 6am. As I continued to scroll through Instagram, I heard Charlotte start to stir awake, rolling around slightly, before opening her eyes and looking up at me, my face dimly lit up by my phone screen. She smiled and proceeded to talk.

"Good morning, Liam," She said, continuing to smile.

"Good morning Charlotte. How was your sleep?" I asked, smiling back.

"It was fantastic. You're like a gigantic pillow," She said, flopping more of her body onto me, causing me to laugh a bit.

"That's good, and I feel like you've told me this before," I said, slight chuckles escaping my mouth.

"Probably," She said, giggling a bit, "That light shining on your face is kinda creepy to be honest."

"What this?" I said, holding the source of the light under my head, just enough shining past my chin to create an even creepier look.

"Nooo, don't do thaaat," She said, covering her eyes with her hands, "I'm gonna have nightmares nooww."

"Haha, you should've expected that to be honest," I said, snickering a bit.

"Yeah, I really should've," She said, giggling as I brought the light back down and Charlotte opening her hands up again.

"I know you probably won't like this, but I will have to leave so I can get my stuff ready for school," I said, the smile quickly fading from her face.

"Oh, okay," She said in a sad tone.

"Although it is Tuesday though, so I can probably stay until about 7:30ish," I said, checking the time on my phone, "Plus, you'll see me at school anyway."

"I know I will, but either way, I'm always in a good mood around you," She said, resting her head down on my chest again.

"I know, I can tell. Your face always lights up when I'm around," I said, chuckling, causing her to blush too, "You know, you're so adorable when you blush," I continued, her turning into a tomato and covering her face with my chest.

"STAP!" She said, still covering her face, "I'm not adorable."

"Yes you are! You're... like as cute as a kitten!" I said, trying to think of something to compare her to, being tired however didn't help my case.

"I feel like you're just saying that..." She said, still buried in my chest.

"Charlotte, let me ask you something," I said, her looking up at me, "Why would I lie to you?"

"I don't know," She said, still a sad tone in her voice.

"I wouldn't. Lying gets you absolutely nowhere, and without a doubt, will backfire. I wouldn't lie to you Charlotte. You are adorable and absolutely gorgeous," I said, smiling, her not being able to stop the smile form on her face.

"Thank you Liam. I kinda needed to hear that from someone," She said, hugging me.

"It's no problem. I charge by the minute by the way," I said, hugging her back and chuckling, getting a giggle out of her, "Now, what do you want to do for the next hour and a half?"

Time Skip: 7:39am

Home. At last. It was a nice night last night, and for the most part, just watching YouTube videos for an hour and a half in morning was nice, but I do that all the time anyway. I made my in the front door to find Ethan, surely enough, downing all my cereal like he hasn't eaten anything in 9 years.

"Ah, I see you found my cereal," I said, walking up to the table and picking up the box, looking into the now empty void that was the box, "You're lucky that I had breakfast at Charlotte's," I continued, sighing and walking down the hallway to my room, while Ethan continued to stuff his face with my cereal.

I grabbed my bag and started filling it with everything I needed for the day. Books, paper, uncompleted homework sheets, along with my football practise stuff. I'm quite interested to see how practise will go. I'm really happy that they decided to go with me at Quarterback. I didn't even think I would get that close to it to be honest, but look where we are now. As I was packing everything, Ethan walked in.

"Hey, can you go shopping on your way home? I've got shit to do this afternoon," He said, poking his head through the door.

"Yeah, sure. Just transfer the money to my account and I'll go after football practise," I said, continuing to put my books in my back.

"Cool, thanks. I'll chuck it in soon. I'll see you when I get home," He said, leaving and shutting the door behind him. I just sighed and continued to put my stuff in my bag. 'Yay. More shit to do today,' I thought to myself, shaking my head.

Soon enough, I finished putting everything I needed into my bag. I sat down at my desk and opened my laptop, deciding to just play some games to pass the time, the clock just hitting 8:10am. I don't have to drop Charlotte and Humphrey off today because Linda said she wanted to today, so less fuel used there I guess.

After what felt like 5 minutes of playing theHunter, It was all of a sudden 9:21am. 'Yeah I should probably get going,' I thought to myself, shutting down my laptop and putting it in my bag, throwing it over my shoulder and leaving my room. I walked down to Ethan's room and surely enough, it lay empty of people, as he had already left for work earlier. I made my way out the front door, locking it behind me and going to my car. I started the old car, reversed out of the drive way and left for school.

Humphrey's POV

'Why is it Arkansas and not Ar-kansas?' I thought to myself for a moment, quickly coming back to reality as someone's hands covered my eyes.

"Guess who?" The feminine voice said, a voice I recognised immediately.

"I have no clue," I said jokingly, and turning around to be met with the gorgeous amber eyes I've come to know and love.

"You're a dumbass," Kate said, bringing me into a hug.

"How was your morning?" I asked, returning it happily.

"It was alright. You know you have football practise today right?" She asked, a slight worried tone appearing in her voice.

"Yeah I know, and I will be careful. I don't feel like splitting open my back," I said, chuckling a bit.

"Good. Just don't get hit too hard, okay? I don't feel like going back to the hospital," She said, giggling.

"I'll try, that's down to if the Safeties are having a bad day though," I said, laughing a bit, and looking up, witnessing Liam and Charlotte walking over to us, laughs radiating from them. I happened to notice Lily was nowhere to be seen too.

"Hey guys. How was your 'fun' last night?" I asked, Charlotte immediately ceasing to make a noise, her face turning into a tomato, however Liam still laughing.

"W-we didn't do anything. We just s-slept," She stuttered out.

"Ah why do I find that so hard to believe?" I asked rhetorically, laughing along with Kate and Liam.

"Shut up, Humph," Charlotte said, punching my shoulder.

"Don't you dare call me that, ever again," I said, stopping my laugh and glaring at her, but Liam and Kate laughing harder.

"Sibling love. Am I right?" Liam asked Kate while they were laughing, eventually stopping.

"Kate, I happened to notice Lily isn't anywhere, have you seen her?" Liam asked, wiping some tears away from his laughing session.

"She's sick. Throwing up her guts," Kate said, Liam cringing a bit.

"Ooo that's gotta suck. Tell I said to get better," He said, chuckling a bit. We continued to talk for the next little while, just chilling out and waiting for the bell to ring. Eventually, the bell did ring and I made my way to class. Getting half way there, then realising I completely forgot to grab my Chemistry book from my locker.

"Oh shit, I forgot my Chemistry book. I'll be back in a minute, and if the teacher asks, tell him where I am," I said to Liam, him nodding and me turning around, heading back towards my locker. I rounded the corner for the hall and bumped into someone, books and papers flying left and right.

"I'm so sorry, I should've been looking where I was going," I said, starting to pick up the objects littered across the ground.

"No, it's alright," The feminine voice said, rubbing her head a bit where I had ran into her. I handed her the books and papers that I could retrieve. I was met with a very familiar pair of bright green eyes, along with a very light brown fur shade with white and grey splotches, that I only recognise from one person... "Thanks... Humphrey?!"

"Sienna?!" I asked, my eyes widened, as we both stared at each other.
