Hello! Sorry, it's been a while... I was having no motivation after I started my last three years of high school and it's a lot more work so I barely had time. Now, I finally have time! Please enjoy this chapter but to be honest, I don't think it will fit many standards, but oh well! Anyways please remember any Positive or Constructive Feedback is welcome and that I also really enjoy reading them so I can improve my story more, so don't be afraid to review this chapter!
Chapter 5 - The Escape
Mikoto was shocked to see who was on the ground in front of her
'What? How? How did he even get captured by these people? I thought he was unconscious at the restaurant' Mikoto had no idea that the boy named Kamijou Touma followed the men who had taken her, and then he found himself away in the warehouse she was sitting in after he pretended to be tired and fall unconscious after a while of fighting with the men so that they could take him to where she was.
*Cough "Are they gone yet?" Touma said this in a hushed voice, Mikoto was shocked and looked into his eyes 'He was awake!'.
"Y-yeah I think they are. Although…" Misaka checked to see that the man and the five people left to talk about something so she continued "You big blundering idiot!" Mikoto yelled as she attempted to shoot electricity at him but something was attracting her electricity to the pole she was tied to.
"What? How is my electricity being drawn away from where I want it to go?…" Mikoto looked behind her and saw 'Metal?' Mikoto was very confused '. I can't believe how they can use such a trick on me because… how can a normal piece of metal be able to attract my electricity away from my target so easily. Sure a normal piece of metal could be electrocuted if it is in the radius of the landing place but… that doesn't make sense?!' While Mikoto was sitting there studying the piece of metal behind, Touma started to crawl towards her. Once Touma was right in front of her he accidentally tripped and fell over making Touma's presence known to her.
"Oi, is there ever a time you aren't a klutz? Just leave this to me, I'll find a way out" The girl said as she tried to help him up but her efforts were wasted because her hands were tied behind her back.
"Misaka, let me help you. You can't do anything being tied up like that so just let me…" Touma got onto his feet and walked behind her to undo the ropes.
"Hey I'm not helpless, just restrained. And besides, what can you d-" Mikoto's hands suddenly were free, cutting her off from her original words and she moved them in front of her so she could stretch them. "Thanks, I guess," Mikoto said as she turned to him since he just untied her from the weird metal pole.
"Don't worry about it?" Touma said smiling at her "Now let's try to get out of here".
"No, just wait a moment. I want to know what they wanted me to do and why, so I'm gonna eavesdrop on their conversation for a bit. You can go, I'll see you later" And with that Mikoto got up and walked to the door but was grabbed by Touma's hand.
"You're not staying here by yourself, I'm going to come with you" Touma had determination in his eyes as he said that sentence and for a few seconds Mikoto found herself staring at them.
"F-fine" Mikoto finally managed to say "Just be quiet and don't let your clumsiness get us caught"
"Will do" Touma replied nodding.
The pair walked to the door leading out of the room they were in and out towards the entrance, but before they could reach the exit of the warehouse a rain of thugs appeared before them with guns.
Now the fight was gonna begin.
Okay, so I know this chapter was short... but as I said, I didn't have much time! So sit back and wait for Chapter 6! Also, I hope everyone is doing okay, especially the people in Ukraine with the war and all going on. I love all of the fans for my story so much because without them I wouldn't have continued this story!
