Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Holographic Heroes. Enjoy the 2000-word chapter. I don't own Red vs Blue; Monty and a few others do.

Massachusetts was enraged. Not simply at the fact that he had been tricked. Not simply for the fact that Connie had tricked him at the moment.

The freelancer agent sighed to himself before he soared overhead. The elite soldier was rather annoyed by her at the moment which made him wonder what happened next.

He slowly lowered himself to the ground before he shook his head and slowly advanced on Connie. He said nothing while he glared at the woman with an anger that wasn't matched by many freelancers besides Tex and Carolina.

He said nothing as the woman slowly walked backward. There were MANY worse options compared to his anger. Connie placed a hand on her sidearm while he started to clear his throat.

"We're you planning on letting us all kill each other?" Massachusetts asked as he raised an eyebrow at the woman in question. "I said I'd be right behind you and yet you still runoff," Massachusetts said while he crossed his arms over his chest.

Connie said nothing while she held her weapons in her hands and waited for his move. She was well aware of the fact that something was off between this duo. He didn't trust her and he had no reason to at the end of the day. He wanted nothing more than to be done with this blasted woman and she was trying his last nerve.

Still? This woman was well aware of the fact nothing was stopping him from killing her if he wanted. The Freelancer looked at her with a glare that seemed to radiate the energy of someone who was driven up a wall.

"I said come with me and I expected you to be right behind me," Connie said with a frown written on her face.

"What exactly do you expect to happen if one of them shot you?" Massachusetts asked while he raised an eyebrow towards her with interest. "We need to go. They're going to come back and if they don't come? Then the others will and they will SHOOT you." Massachusetts stated while he cleared his throat.

Connie said nothing to her comrade. Massachusetts seemed to stay silent before he slowly marched into the pelican which started to lift off into the sky as he did so. He looked at the woman who walked past towards the controls as she sighed and realized this was going to be a wild ride.

He had nothing to say to her at the moment. He was rather done with this planet at the second as he started to sit down in his seat while he shook his head. He was so done at the moment while he frowned to himself as he shook his head before he started to think about what to do when they escaped this place before she started to think to frown to herself.

Connie frown to herself as she started to slowly think about what to do next when they went to another planet. They'd probably be hunted there as well. Still? It was better than sitting to herself and pitying herself as she frowned to herself before she shook her head and slowly started to march into the ship.

Massachusetts said nothing while he leaned back in his seat. He was rather interested confused at the moment when it came down to it. She sat in the command chair and made sure the AI had taken was secure inside her helmet. If it was loose? She'd be screwed before she even reaches orbit.

She started to press the switches and started the ship up as she frowned to think when he sighed. Connie slowly moved her fingers towards her controls and typed in a few commands as she raised an eyebrow towards her, she frowned to herself as she looked into the sky.

Connie almost wondered what happened to think while she frowned to herself. She tugged her controls into the sky when there were the sounds of gunfire.

"We need to be off-world before they show the hell back up." Connie heard as she frowned to herself. "And secondly? I don't plan on stopping myself if I need to shoot you." Massachusetts stated while he frowned to himself.

He shook his head and sighed to himself before he crossed his arms. There was plenty of time for this to spiral out of control when it came down to it. He didn't trust her and he had little reason to when he considered it. She was a traitor in his eyes and he had seen little to change his mind.

"Then we come back here," Connie stated while she sighed before she closed her eyes and then started to think.

The amount of time she had invested in this plan of hers was far too much for her to handle. She needed to handle it now or else she'd come crashing down with pain and the knowledge that she'd no longer be able to help someone.

The more time she had invested into her plans? The more she doubted it was possible with the odds stacked against them and her. Connie leaned back in her seat and opened her eyes. She slowly started to tap on the console while she frowned to herself.

Today had been a rather long day and the more time they wasted on this? The more time they had to track her down. the director wasn't one to let someone slip through the cracks of their armor. It was rather interesting at the moment how little he cared for people yet he was able to control his people.

She was also not an idiot when it came to her choices on how best to gain allies. The director was sure to be someone who'd blame this on her and try and cover the truth in lies and deceit. All she had for certain now was her wits and who had decided to trust her which was almost nobody. She was not a fool when it came down to her options and how slim her chances were of coming out as the hero.

It didn't stop her as of now. Connie had planned to ride this to the end of the road if she had to. There was too much on the line for her to relax and allow them to do something with the AI when it came down to it. She fired the engines properly when it comes down to it. She had a lot more to do before it came down to it. She was not one to bother her when she considered it.

Connie seemed as if she was to scream at herself for what had come to pass. It wasn't on her to deal with this sort of thing normally and she didn't want to be in the front.

Yet here she was, dealing with a war behind enemy lines on a former ally that didn't entirely seem if it was going to last when it comes down to it. She wasn't one to do when she ran a hand across her arm while she rolled before she started to before to handle it.

Then again? If she was entirely honest? This terrified her more than it seemed possible. There was nothing to say or do and there was almost nobody who seemed to care about what she said. It only drove her forward with more rage than was possible.

She tapped on the console as she put the autopilot online and leaned in her seat. She glanced at him as he seemed to prepare for more to do. More to force her down this path that never seemed to end. It wasn't going to be easy.

'Then again? There are more plans he hasn't tried. The man only does stuff like this when he's backed into a corner. Honestly seems as if he's thought of everything. I can't understand what he's going to do at times when he keeps changing them. So many different ideas and more questions when it came down to it.' Connie thought before she seemed to be questioning at the moment.

'He's going to back me into a corner before I can stop him or even come up with a good plan to stop him. At this rate? He's going to destroy everything when it comes down to it. Everyone is going to suffer and die before I get a chance to stop it. Why do I have to stop this thing? Why do I need to be the big hero?' Connie mentally questioned as she sighed to herself.

Too many problems, no real answers, and far too little riding on her winning. She'd scream if it weren't for the fact that she had so much lest to lose and almost nothing to win at the time. This wasn't going to be easy, it wasn't going to be a fun ride, and it was only going to get harder when she considered it.

She looked at the backseat. She knew Massachusetts was either a partner or a wild card she'd need to properly watch to make sure that nothing went wrong. If he did? He'd probably kill her before something good happened. That was the last thing she wished for at the time. The last move was only to cut through this, cut into the enemy and leave them in their wake.

Still? If she had any hope of really winning this? It was to hit them hard and fast. They had to strike while the enemy was still trying to knit themselves back together. That was the only way they'd win anything. Anything else and they'd be left on the runway to be crushed and left to burn.

"You're staring into space." She heard as he turned to her. "And not in an amusing way. What are you going to do? We have almost nowhere to go and we are going to need more equipment… If you're not? Then you're going to crash and burn sooner or later. If you're not lying to me." She heard as she turned and looked over her shoulder.

"And what if I am? You're going to kill me? That'd be great, crash and burn both of us at the second and end with everyone on this ship dying." Connie said as Massachusetts rolled his eyes at her with interest.

"There's only so much we can do before we fall apart, you know. Only so damned much before that." Massachusetts stated before he rolled his eyes and shook his head at the second.

There was only so much that he could picture working at the second. There was going to be a plan when he considered it, either she made one or she didn't and he'd probably risk jumping ship then, not that he'd be sitting in hot water before it came down to it. This had become a lot harder for him to fathom when he considered it.

'We need to hit them all at the second and try and cut them entirely down.' Connecticut said while she seemed to be interested in this.

Connie started to click her tongue against the roof of her mouth. She had been curious about what was going to happen when it came to their tactics. She was honestly curious about what was going to happen when it came to this plan.

She typed in a destination and decided to check to make sure that there was enough fuel and weapons to get to the next planet when it came down to it. There was a lot more on her mind.
