Summary: Merlin shares a lullaby he has only heard three times in his life to the rest of the world.
Let's Go On An Adventure
Long ago, an unnamed castle ballad wrote a special song. Few have ever been lucky to hear this song. For the longest time, the only people who knew the song were royalty.
As for me, I've only heard it sung thrice. Once to a dying prince, once to a wounded child, and once to me.
It is in his memory that I will relay its words to you.
"Deep in the meadow, under the willow
A bed of grass, a soft green pillow
Lay down your head, and close your eyes
And when they open, the sun will rise."
Pretty much Merlin is singing this song for Arthur, who is long dead.
The other three parts are flashbacks so that I can include the full song.
The other reason why there are 4 parts is because I could not decide which two characters should sing the song. There was Merlin to Morgana, Arthur to Morgana, Morgana to Mordred, Uther to Morgana, Uther to Ygraine, Uther to Arthur, Merlin to Arthur, Arthur to Merlin, Merlin to Freya, and Hunith to Merlin. Yeah.
