The Battle of Olympus part 5
Meanwhile in the Caverns
Aphrodite and her two former pleasure servants had entered the Caverns. They'd successfully bypassed some guards. As they'd hidden themselves from some Zeus loyalists, the dark skinned servant said. "Aphrodite, where are they keeping Pandora?"
Aphrodite peeked from a corner and then pointed to a hallway that was locked by a gate. "The guards are keeping her in a cell, through there."
"It looks like it's locked, milady." The blonde woman said.
Aphrodite nodded. Then the Goddess of Love then saw a guard coming and hid themselves. As Aphrodite checked the guard, who was young around 18 or 19 years old. But she also noticed that he was having the keys to the gate attached to his belt.
Aphrodite got an idea and whispered something to her two former servants about what they should do. After listening to her plan, the two women checked the young guard and giggled quietly, but then nodded to Aphrodite that they would distract the young man to take his keys.
The two women then walked over to the young guard, looking very innocent and scared at the same time. The guard saw them and drew his sword "Hey! You two are not supposed to be here!"
The dark skinned servant approached him first saying. "Please. We are only here to hide, from the battle above."
The blond one nodded and stroked the guard's arm where he held his sword. "Yes. So many people... dead. Please, can we stay here, with you?"
The guard looked confused to them as he lowered his sword. "Uhh... I... I'm not... supposed to let... civilians walk... around here..." But the young guard was at a loss for words as these two very attractive women came to him for help.
The blonde one pretended like she was about to cry. "Please! We're so scared! Could you please, please, please keep us safe here, with you?"
The dark skinned woman nodded and pleaded too to stay at his side.
The young guard didn't know what to make of this. "I... well, I..."
"Please. If you could keep us safe here, we'll... do anything for you." The blonde one said seductively.
"What... ehh, w-w-what can you possibly... offer to a servant of Zeus?" The young guard asked as he stuttered.
The dark skinned woman stroked his chest and whispered softly in his ear. "The nights can be long and cold, even for a servant of Zeus. If you agree to keep us safe here, we'll...," She then kissed his cheek. "...give our bodies to you."
The young guard's eyes went a bit wide as the women said that.
The dark skinned one stroked his chin as her other hand went between the guard's legs. "Have you... ever been with a woman before?"
The young guard slowly shook his head. This made the two women grind seductively as they pushed him slowly to a wall. "Well, we can change that." The blonde one said as she then kissed the guard with passion.
The guard, blinded by lust, allowed it as the dark skinned woman kissed him on the cheek and neck, while her hand snaked down in his pants, stroking his cock. But while he was distracted, she slowly took the key from his belt with her free hand and placed it on top of a barrel without the young guard even noticing it.
Aphrodite carefully took the key while her former servants distracted the guard with their bodies and pleasure.
But as she wanted to use the key to open the gate, the young guard saw Aphrodite. "Lady Aphrodite...? What are you-!" But his last words failed, as the blonde servant used her dagger to pierce his neck!
The guard fell dead as a pool of blood formed on the ground before the two former servants wanted to join Aphrodite through the gates to look for Pandora, but Aphrodite instructed them. "You two keep watch for any guards. If you see any, you warn me."
The two former pleasure servants nodded as Aphrodite went through the gates into the hallway where Pandora was being held.
Unknown to them, they were watched from a distance, by someone. With the lowered body of a sphinx it jumped high from one cube to the other, to get to the other side of the Caverns.
In her cell, Pandora tried to use the small blue fire to make contact with Calliope and Alecto, who she hadn't heard from for hours. "Come on, come on! Where are you Calliope and Alecto...?!"
Then she heard someone coming and quickly put the blue flame lower and did as if she was scratching a image on the wall
"Pandora..." Aphrodite whispered as she held the bars of the cell.
Pandora looked and was surprised to see it was the Goddess of Love. "Aphrodite? What are you doing here?!"
"Shhh! Quiet, or the guards will hear." Aphrodite hushed quietly.
Pandora nodded, but she still didn't understand why Aphrodite was here. "Okay, but why are you here?"
"I'm here to get you out, Pandora." When Aphrodite took the keys to open the cell, Pandora was feeling a mixture of confusion and happiness as to why Aphrodite would help her, after the cruel things she said to her.
When Aphrodite opened the cell door, Pandora was feeling unsure if she could trust Aphrodite. The Goddess of Love saw this, and felt so much guilt of what she did to her. She then stretched out her hand to her. "Please, Pandora. Come... I can get you out of here."
Pandora looked at her with her mixed feelings and asked. "Why are you helping me? I thought that you hated me?"
Aphrodite sighed deeply as all the things she'd said made her feel that she hated her. "I know what I did to you was cruel and wrong, Pandora. You had all the right to be angry with me. But please, just let me help you."
However, Pandora was not convinced as she still felt all the pain she had to endure from Aphrodite and turned her back to her. Aphrodite could no longer hold her tears and fell on her knees. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry, Pandora... for everything!" As she sobbed, she then told the truth. "I didn't hate you, Pandora. I hated myself! I hated myself for not bringing... a child of Hephaestus into the world!"
"You gave birth to so many children." Pandora said without even looking at Aphrodite.
The Goddess of Love shook her head. "But it wasn't the same! I only... gave birth to other children or had sex with so many mortals and Gods... to ease my pain... for failing as a wife for Hephaestus. When he showed you to me when you were just a baby... your father said that you looked almost like me. I felt humiliated. That is why I turned all my anger and sadness on you."
Pandora looked at her over her shoulder, seeing Aphrodite on her knees sobbing, saying. "I'm so... sorry, Pandora! I'm sorry for everything!"
That was when Pandora remembered that Aphrodite did try to connect with her, after she'd sensed her feelings for Epimetheus. Pandora now saw that Aphrodite was truly feeling sorry for what she did.
But before she could say anything, her eyes went wide as she saw a big half woman/half sphinx standing behind Aphrodite!
"Awww. How cute." The person said, evil and sarcastic.
Aphrodite turned around and gasped as she was grabbed by the half God/half sphinx, who was no other than Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt. She smirked evilly to Aphrodite as she choked her in her grasp. "Hello Aphrodite. Guess my father, Zeus was right about his suspicions that you wanted to betray him."
Pandora shook her head, not wanting Artemis to kill Aphrodite. "No! Leave her alone!"
"HUSH!" Artemis said fiercely to Pandora.
Aphrodite saw her chance to take her knife and stabbed Artemis in her midsection! "AAARGH!" Artemis yelled in pain as she dropped Aphrodite.
The Goddess of Love yelled to Pandora. "RUN PANDORA! RUN!"
Pandora wasted no time and ran out of her cell, to the exit!
Artemis wanted to pursue her, but was stopped in her tracks by Aphrodite as she faced her with her large knife. "KEEP AWAY FROM HER, YOU BITCH!"
Aphrodite was able to hit her a few times, till she was disarmed by Artemis' large bow! She grabbed Aphrodite by the throat and smacked her to the wall and then hard to the ground!
Aphrodite felt pain all over her body and tried to get up, but was held hard to the ground by Artemis' sphinx paw. She looked with hatred at Aphrodite, but then smirked. "I think I'll let Zeus have some fun with you." Before she grabbed her and dragged Aphrodite out of the hallway.
Pandora meanwhile ran as hard as she could, far away from Artemis. She saw Aphrodite's two pleasure servants dead on the floor, making Pandora afraid as she panted and ran further away.
While running into one dark hallway to another, she was very worried for Aphrodite. 'Oh Aphrodite, please be alright!' Pandora mentally begged.
After running for what seemed like ages, she stopped as she was close to an edge and saw the many cubes around this large section of the Caverns. Pandora recognized them that this was the Labyrinth that Daedelus was working on, as her father had told her about the project a few months before she'd turned 16. "The Labyrinth. I was all this time near the Labyrinth!" She said to herself, but then held her hands on her mouth, not wanting to be found by either Artemis or the other guards.
Pandora kept running, looking for another blue fire to contact Calliope and Alecto and tell them where she was. Finally, after much searching, she found a small blue fire and used her magic to turn it brighter. "Calliope. Alecto! Please, can you hear me? Where are you!?" She said to the blue fire.
Back with Calliope and Alecto, a few minutes before Pandora tried to make contact
Calliope, Alecto and Hecuba had rested enough from their threesome and put their clothes back on. Hecuba also put on a cloak to cover herself. Calliope and Alecto then helped Hecuba to get out of Poseidon's chamber, killing a lot of monsters along the way. After using one of the monsters to hold the handle, the handle killed the monster by crushing on itself, keeping the gate open for the two lovers.
"Wait!" Hecuba said to Calliope and Alecto, who paused and turned back to her, wondering what was wrong. "I... I'm not going with you."
"Are you sure?" Calliope asked.
Hecuba nodded. "Yes. I-I can't fight like you and I'll just slow you two down. Don't worry about me, I will find my own way out of here." She stated.
Calliope and Alecto looked at each other for a moment. They couldn't force Hecuba to come with them and she could indeed slow them down. Both then looked back at her and nodded. "Alright Hecuba. Me and Calliope killed most of the monsters in here, so it should be safe."
Hecuba nodded. "Okay, I'll be careful."
Then Alecto pulled Hecuba closer to her and gave her one last passionate kiss, and so did Calliope, which she returned to them both.
Calliope then stroked her cheek and softly said. "Good luck. I hope we'll see each other again."
Hecuba smiled and nodded. "I hope so too, Ghost of Sparta." Before she then ran back the other way, to find a way out of the Chamber of Poseidon.
As Calliope and Alecto continued on their way, they saw another statue of Pandora that held a blue fire and heard Pandora's voice from it. "Alecto! Calliope! Are you there!?"
Calliope and Alecto ran to the statue and talked to the blue fire. "Pandora! We're here." Calliope said.
Pandora sighed in relief. "Ohh finally! Listen, I know where I am!"
Both lovers' eyes went wide, making Alecto ask Pandora immediately. "Tell us where you are."
But Pandora seemed to hear something coming close to her. "I hear something. He's close."
"Just tell us how to find you!" Calliope asked.
Pandora heard the person coming even closer and said quickly. "The Labyrinth! Find the Lab... AAAAAAAH!" Pandora screamed as she was grabbed by something and was no longer seen in the blue fire. "HELP! HELP ME!"
Alecto and Calliope feared the worst. "Pandora!?" Alecto yelled to the flame "Pandora! What's happened?!"
"Pandora! Where are you?!" Calliope yelled out of fear.
Then they heard the voice from their greatest enemy, Zeus. "Granddaughter. You and Alecto trifle with matters you cannot possibly understand. Stay away from this... this... thing!"
Calliope's anger rose as she heard Zeus' voice. "Zeus! ZEUS, I SWEAR IF YOU HURT PANDORA, WE'LL TEAR YOU APART!"
The blue fire then disappeared and Calliope and Alecto ran out of the chamber to help Pandora before it was to late.
In the Caverns
Artemis held Pandora by her head, while Zeus pinned Aphrodite to the ground. The King of the Gods looked with disappointment and anger at the Goddess of Love. "I'm disappointed in you, Aphrodite. Very disappointed." Before he shocked her with his lightning powers, making her scream in pain.
"AAAAAAARGH!" Pandora cried out as tears flowed from her eyes. "NO! DON'T HURT HER! PLEASE STOP!"
Zeus stopped and then looked very fierce to Pandora, saying. "If you don't want her dead, then maybe I should kill your friend Sylvia instead."
Pandora shook her head, not wanting her best friend to die. "NO! Please don't!"
"Then you will not make any contact with anyone, or try to escape again! Or I will kill Aphrodite, Calliope, Alecto and your friend Sylvia. Do you understand!?" Zeus yelled as gave Pandora a final warning.
Pandora nodded in fear. "Yes... I... I won't try to escape again... Just don't hurt anyone."
Zeus faced his daughter Artemis, ordering her. "Lock her up in the Labyrinth. And make sure she stays in there."
Artemis nodded and took Pandora with her.
Aphrodite yelled to Pandora as tears flowed from her eyes. "PANDORA!"
Zeus then teleported her with him back to her chambers while Aphrodite pleaded while being dragged inside. "Please, Zeus! Don't hurt my daughter!"
This surprised Zeus as Aphrodite called Pandora her 'daughter'. With his rising fury, he said as he started to hit her hard. "SHE IS A THING, APHRODITE! A CREATION FROM HEPHAESTUS! SHE IS NOT REAL!"
Aphrodite tried to get up but was unable because of the pain. "She... is not... A THING! SHE IS REAL TO ME!"
Zeus had lost all his patience and started beating her mercilessly, not just because she saw Pandora as her own daughter, but also for her betrayal. He throwed her numerous times throughout the chamber, breaking nearly everything while beating Aphrodite nearly to death!
After some minutes, Zeus finally stopped beating the Goddess of Love. Aphrodite had bruises and bleeding wounds all over her body, maybe even broken several bones.
Zeus looked at her one more time as she tried to raise herself on the floor, and said. "I will leave you to think about your actions, Aphrodite. Maybe you'll finally learn who to obey." And teleported away.
While grunting in pain, Aphrodite crawled into a corner and held her legs close to her as she wept. "Pandora... Pandora... My little girl, Pandora."
As Calliope and Alecto made their way to the Upper Gardens, they saw that the bridges that once stood over Hera's Gardens were nearly destroyed. Calliope figured that this was the work of Zeus, trying to prevent her and her Fury lover from going any further. But that was not going to stop the former Goddess of War and the ex-Fury Queen.
Calliope and Alecto tried to reach the other side, using the remaining mechanisms to control some parts of the bridges. But some were so badly damaged that they couldn't be used. So, Alecto held Calliope in her arms and flew with her to get to the other side. But then, they were suddenly blocked by a powerful electrical barrier. As they landed on a nearby broken bridge, both tried all they could to get through the barrier, but it was to no avail.
"Damm it!" Calliope yelled out. "How can we pass this fucking barrier?!"
Alecto shook her head. "I don't know, baby." The former Fury Queen then looked around and saw that the only way that they could still go was Aphrodite's Chamber on their right. Calliope saw it too and they both nodded that they should head towards Aphrodite's quarters, in the hope of passing the barrier.
But as they opened the door to Aphrodite's Chamber, both were shocked to see the entire home of the Goddess of Love in ruin. Large parts of the floor and walls smashed in, many furniture smashed to pieces and trails of blood throughout the floor!
"By the Gods... what happened here?" Alecto asked, still feeling shocked to see
Aphrodite's home in ruin.
When they checked further inside, both could hear a woman sobbing in a corner. Calliope then was shocked to see Aphrodite wounded as she kept sobbing and calling Pandora's name. "Oh, Pandora... I'm so sorry... This is all my fault."
But when she heard someone approaching, she gasped as she startled, but then calmed down when it was Calliope and Alecto. "Calliope? Alecto?'' She asked as she tried to raise herself, but because of the pain, Aphrodite couldn't.
Calliope and Alecto came to her to help. While Alecto healed her with the amulet, Calliope asked the Goddess of Love. "Aphrodite, what happened here? And how... are you hurt like this? Did Zeus' minions do this?"
Aphrodite shook her head. "No. It was Zeus who did this."
Calliope and Alecto glanced to each other for a moment, feeling confused to why Zeus would torture Aphrodite like this.
Once Aphrodite was fully healed, Calliope helped her to stand and put her down at the nearly destroyed bed. When Calliope sat next to her, she asked. "But why did Zeus do this to you?"
Aphrodite signed deep as she started to explain what had happened. "I tried to reason with Zeus, that he had gone too far and this... madness had to stop. But he wouldn't listen. So I... I tried to free Pandora from her cell, but Artemis and Zeus captured us. While Artemis locked Pandora in the Labyrinth, Zeus tortured me for my betrayal... but mostly because I... I..."
"What?" Alecto asked.
Tears started to form in Aphrodite's eyes again, as she looked at the Ghost of Sparta and Fury Queen. "I... I begged him to spare her... I begged him to... not hurt my daughter... my sweet Pandora."
This surprised both Calliope and Alecto when Aphrodite said that. Alecto then sat next to Aphrodite and embraced her.
Aphrodite started to cry on Alecto's shoulder as she tried to tell. "I was wrong. I was wrong this whole time!"
While Aphrodite kept crying and telling Calliope and Alecto the whole reason why she was so cruel to Pandora. She also said that she started to see it after Pandora confronted her, telling Zeus that Pandora fell in love with Epimetheus and that her actions had led Pandora and her father to be taken prisoner.
Seeing Aphrodite feeling so much regret for her actions, Calliope started to feel pity for the Goddess of Love. Alecto kept hugging her little sister, in a way she never could because of their past, but now... they could finally be family again.
"I told... I told Pandora how sorry I was... how wrong I was. I... I want to be a mother to her now... I truly want it. Please, you must save Pandora... save my little girl." Aphrodite pleaded, with tears flowing from her eyes.
While Alecto stroked Aphrodite's back, Calliope stroked her cheek and softly said. "We will save her. We promise."
Aphrodite started to smile. "Thank you."
Then Alecto asked her younger sister. "Aphrodite, do you know a way how we can move on? Zeus has destroyed the bridges outside and formed a powerful barrier ahead and we cannot break through it."
Aphrodite thought about it for a moment and said. "Well, the only one who knows how to break those barriers and those bridges is my ex-husband, Hephaestus."
Calliope and Alecto glanced at each other. For Hephaestus was stuck in the Underworld and it would take them both a lot of time to get back to the Underworld and return to Olympus.
Aphrodite noticed their troubles, as she could sometimes read other people's minds. She used her power to open the big curtain, covering the large portal, leading to Hephaestus' working place (now his prison).
Calliope and Alecto saw the portal and recognized the shape of the portal as the same one that was in Hephaestus' forge.
"You can get to Hephaestus through there." Aphrodite said.
Calliope and Alecto nodded and were about to head to the portal. But Aphrodite called them back and said. "Please. If you see Hephaestus... tell him... that I'm sorry... for everything... and... that I still love him."
Alecto looked back at her sister, and said with a small smile. "Perhaps it's best that you tell him yourself."
Alecto then entered the portal with Calliope, while Aphrodite thought about what Alecto told her, believing that it was indeed better that she tells all of this to Hephaestus herself.
As Calliope and Alecto went through the portal, entering Hephaestus prison/forge, the former Smith God thought that it was Aphrodite, finally coming to pay him a visit. "Aphrodite?" He asked as he began to smile with hope as he turned to face the portal. "I knew you would return to me." But then he was surprised to see it was Calliope and Alecto. "Calliope? Alecto? What are you two doing here?"
Calliope answered their friend by saying. "We're here because we need your help again, Hephaestus. Zeus tries to stop us from finding the Labyrinth."
This confused the Smith God, as he thought she and Alecto only sought the Flame of Olympus. "But... I thought you two only sought the Flame. What could you both possibly want in..." But upon realizing why they needed to find the Labyrinth, Hephaestus glared at Calliope and Alecto, warning them. "No! Stay away from her!" As he slammed his fist against the wall, surprising the two heroines by his reaction. "Stay away from my daughter, Calliope!"
Calliope tried to calm him. "Calm down, Hephaestus."
"NO!" Hephaestus yelled as he slammed his fist against the wall again. "You are both the reason she's in the Labyrinth! The reason I live here in Hell!"
That was when both women got angry. "HEY! We have done you no wrong, Hephaestus!" Calliope with a warning tone.
The Smith God shook his head. "Oh, but you have, Spartan. You opened the Box of Chaos."
Calliope crossed her arms. "That was a long time ago, and I did what had to be done to destroy Ares."
But then Alecto flew before Hephaestus, as he still owed them a big explanation "Hephaestus! Why did you really create Pandora from the Flame of Olympus!? Why did you never tell us what her true purpose was!? We know that you only told us half of the truth! TELL US!" Alecto warned the former Smith God.
Defeated, Hephaestus started to tell the real reason why he created Pandora. "I guess... I do own you both an explanation. The evils of the Great War could not easily be contained. I forged the Box of Chaos in a power greater than the gods themselves: The Flame of Olympus. As the raw metal took shape, I started to doubt my father's methods to reign over the world. I started to see that he was no better than his own father, Cronos. When I figured that one day, someone would need the power inside the Box to oppose Zeus, I realized that putting it in the Flame wouldn't be best. So... I lied to Zeus, telling him that the Flame was too powerful and the box would be destroyed instantly. I managed to convince him to store the Box in the temple on the back of Cronos. After all, who would best the Titan? It was you, Calliope, that after you inherited the sins of your father and became the Ghost of Sparta, that you one day would need the power from the Box to destroy Ares. I started to get afraid... afraid that my father would figure out that I lied about the Flame and the Box. So, I developed a plan, that if the Box would be placed in the Flame, I needed to create something that would serve as a key, a way to destroy the Flame and retrieve the Box. While you and Alecto went into hiding during your pregnancy, Calliope, I started to experiment to create the 'key'. I failed dozens of times. I almost reached the point of giving up. But then... when I finally did it... something miraculously happened. Created from the very heart of the Flame, the key took on a life of its own, in the shape of an infant baby girl: Pandora. I felt at that moment... that I'd become a father and she knew instantly that I was her father. As I watched her grow, becoming friends with your own daughter, becoming a powerful sorceress, becoming... a beautiful young women. I was... so proud at my own daughter. It was the day that Sylvia took her to the Athens Festival, when Pandora fell in love with that mortal young man, the Flame started to react to her emotions. For they are one. The Flame and Pandora. When Zeus started to investigate the strange reactions of the Flame, he figured out about this lovebond that Pandora had developed for that mortal boy, so... he took the Box... and threw it in the Flame, revealing my deceit. Zeus tortured me until I confessed the truth of my beloved Pandora. He took her away, leaving me alone in my torment."
Calliope and Alecto couldn't almost believe what their friend told them.
Hephaestus then tried to explain. "Don't you understand? If you take her to the Flame..."
Calliope tried to understand it all. "But, Hephaestus, if Pandora is the key to destroy the Flame, then-"
"No, you still don't understand! The Flame kills all who touch it, remember?! Even if Pandora would destroy the Flame... then..."
Alecto gasped as she realized what that meant. "Then... it would also destroy Pandora."
Hephaestus nodded as he signed sadly. "Yes. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you guys this before. You must understand. I did it to protect my child. Surely you can understand?"
Calliope walked over to Hephaestus and said with a sad face. "Hephaestus... Pandora means a lot to us, just as much as she is to you. We would never do something like that to her."
Hephaestus then glanced at her, and asked. "You promise... that Pandora won't be harmed?"
Calliope and Alecto nodded. "You have our word, Hephaestus. From one parent to another. Pandora won't be harmed to retrieve the Box. We'll find another way."
Hephaestus began to smile at his friends. "All right Calliope. If you and Alecto give me your word that Pandora won't be harmed, I'd be happy to help you."
Calliope and Alecto were glad that they could count on their friend. Alecto then said how Hephaestus could help them. "Zeus has destroyed the bridges in the upper gardens and caused a powerful barrier that neither me or Calliope can break. We'd hoped that you knew how to pass it?"
Hephaestus thought for a moment how he could help.
Just then, another voice nearby called. "Perhaps I can help?"
Calliope, Alecto and Hephaestus looked at where the voice came from. Before them appeared a woman with grey skin, dressed in shining white armor and had large white wings. It was the Goddess of Revenge and retribution, Nemesis.
"Nemesis?" Calliope said who walked over to the Goddess once she landed. "What are you doing here?"
With a serious look on her face, the Goddess glanced at Calliope and answered. "Coming to your aid, Ghost of Sparta."
Hephaestus thought that this was suspicious, as Nemesis was always loyal to Zeus. "You... want to help Calliope and Alecto? But I thought you were always loyal to Zeus?"
Alecto agreed with her friend and asked. "Yeah, you never came to our aid before in the past. What has brought about this change?"
Nemesis glanced at the former Fury Queen and answered to everyone. "I have seen for too long how Zeus has neglected mankind and is about to destroy the world, that I could no longer... watch. Zeus deserves to pay for all that he has done."
Calliope and Alecto both raised an eyebrow, as they'd never expected Nemesis to change sides like this.
Then Nemesis said. "I know that you cannot pass the barrier placed by Zeus on Olympus. But there is a way to destroy it. You and Alecto need a powerful weapon."
"We thank you for the offer, Nemesis, but me and Calliope already have weapons." Alecto said.
Nemesis shook her head? "Not like these. These weapons will give you the retribution you so rightly deserve. But there is only one material to make these weapons so powerful. The Omphalos stone."
Hephaestus' eyes became wide as that was a genius idea. "Yes, yes of course! I can use the stone to make you and Alecto these weapons and to give Zeus a little taste of his own medicine."
Calliope nodded as she looked back at Nemesis. "Where can we find this Omphalos stone?"
Nemesis then pointed to the closed gate close to Hephaestus. "The stone rests in the pit of Tartarus. Bring it, and Hephaestus will make the weapons for you."
Hephaestus then opened the gate for Calliope and Alecto, and then told his friends before they went to it. "Be careful, Calliope and Alecto."
Calliope and Alecto smiled at their friend and said before entering the gate. "We will, Hephaestus."
As the gate closed, Nemesis evilly smiled and mentally said. 'If either of you won't die in Tartarus, then I will grant you both the retribution you deserve after what you have done to the world.'
In another part of the Underworld
The freed Titan Atlas, was keeping Sylvia company. The Titan had promised to protect the former Goddess of War to protect his daughter while she and Alecto went to lead the Titans to battle the Olympians. Sylvia was both bored and worried, she'd hoped to join her mothers in battle and to pay Zeus for what he has done to her, and her dear friend Pandora.
Atlas tried to pass the time by telling Sylvia many tales about himself and the other Titans. Sylvia, while sitting on Atlas' hand had listened the whole time to Atlas' many tales and was fascinated how the Titans were back in the day, who were even more honorable than the Olympians by actually sharing the world with the mortals instead of owning it to themselves... until Cronos became evil and sent his Titan brothers and sisters to a terrible fate.
"This is amazing, Atlas." Sylvia said "You know, if it wasn't for Zeus and the Olympians, or Cronos, the world would have been such a nicer place."
Atlas gave a nod. "Yes, Sylvia. And hopefully... if we'd won this fight... we can make that dream a reality."
Suddenly, Sylvia heard a whispering voice, calling to her. "Sylvia."
Sylvia stood up while looking around. "Atlas? Did you hear that?"
Confused, Atlas looked around too, but didn't hear anything. "No. I did not."
"Sylvia...!"
The warrior princess heard it again, this time hearing clearly where it came from: a cave system, close to the Pillar. Sylvia looked at Atlas before dropping herself off of Atlas's hand and used her blades to descend slower and landing on the ground.
Atlas asked her. "Where are you going?"
Sylvia called, ensuring the Titan. "I'm gonna check something in there. I won't be long."
Atlas was unsure, as he gave the Ghost of Sparta his promise that her daughter won't be harmed. But knowing how strong Sylvia could be and that the minions of the dead God Hades had different things on their minds, he nodded. "Very well. But be careful and don't stay away for long."
Sylvia ensured Atlas. "I won't." And went inside the cave.
Inside, she listened carefully to where the voice led her to, while keeping watch for any of Hades' minions. After several minutes, she finally saw a spirit at the end of the tunnel. Sylvia approached the shade carefully. It then turned itself, giving a smile to the warrior princess. "Sylvia... we meet at last, little sister."
Sylvia became confused as to why this spirit called her 'little sister'. But then her eyes went wide as she realized who this spirit was. "Orkos? You're... my brother Orkos."
Orkos gave a nod. "Yes... I am." Before he then chuckled. "You look more like Calliope than my mother."
Sylvia returned a smile while she nodded. "I do."
Seeing that they hadn't much time, Orkos warned his half-sister. "Listen, you don't have much time! Our mothers are in great danger."
"Wha- what do you mean?"
"Our mothers, they... they are on their way into the Pit of Tartarus, to search for the Omphalos Stone. But they are walking into a trap! Cronos is imprisoned there as well!"
Sylvia gasped out of shock, hearing that the evil King of the Titans was locked in the Pit of Tartarus, waiting for her mothers to be slaughtered by his own hands. Sylvia wanted to stay longer to finally get to know her half-brother in person, but seeing that her mothers were in danger, her instincts told her to go and help them.
Orkos nodded in understanding. "We'll see each other again soon. Now go!"
Sylvia ran out of the cave as fast as she could, calling out to her new Titan friend. "ATLAS!"
Atlas looked down, to see what had troubled Sylvia. "What is it?"
"My mothers are in danger! They're heading towards the Pit of Tartarus, where Cronos is waiting for them! I've got to go and help them!"
Sylvia made a run for it fast, but Atlas grabbed her with one of his giant hands. "Hold on there, little girl!" Sylvia was this close to plead to Atlas to let her go and save her mothers, but Atlas said. "I'm coming with you. I promised your mother to protect you and protect you I shall."
Sylvia nodded, being thankful for her new Titan friend's help. "Thank you, Atlas."
While carrying Sylvia, Atlas made his way deeper into the Underworld, back to where he and his fellow brother and sister Titans were first imprisoned.
There you go, my dear friends, part 5 is complete. Sorry for the lack of action but I wanted it to be mostly about Aphrodite trying to free Pandora and Pandora finally seeing that the Goddess of Love truly cares for her, as well as Hephaestus revealing the truth about Pandora. Don't worry, there'll be plenty of action in part 6, as well as another lemon. Rate and review and I'll see you next time, my dear friends.
